昨年末に閉店した麻布十番の思い出の店「BLUE & WHITE」が、1月6日に最後1日だけ店を開けるということで、オーナーのAmyさんに会いに行ってきました。 ここは私が中学から高校生にかけて、刺し子のアルバイトをさせていただいたお店なのですが、近かったのに時間が合わず、とうとう行かれず仕舞いだったんですよね。本当に久々の再会でした！ 閉店セールではものすごい立派な竹製のベンチや大きな竹籠に1000円とか1500円の値札が！！ ほしかったし、Amyさんは「あげるから持って行っていいわよ」とさえ言ってくださったのですが……、置き場所がない！！ 泣く泣く諦めました。しかし昔だったらタクシー使ってでも持って帰ってただろうなぁ…？ 再会が嬉しすぎて当日の写真はありません。 代わりに100円で買った “おかめ” の顔付きの器を。春に蒔こうと思うオシロイバナの種を入れてます。

Japanese Usagi Pottery - Little Rays of Happiness

There is something very special with the way usagi (rabbits) are depicted on pottery and fabrics in Japan. I started collecting blue usagi cha cups and fabrics twenty years ago. These are a recent addition to my collection.

The little rabbits look so happy and carefree frolicking together across the scenes. I can’t help but smile when ever I look at them or use them :)

JŌMON POTTERY VESSELS ARE THE OLDEST IN THE WORLD..."

PIC INFO: Spotlight on a Neolithic Jomon vessel from Japan, c. Middle Jōmon Period (c. 3,500? - 2,500 BCE), designated National Important Cultural Properties in 1988.

MINI-OVERVIEW: "Jōmon pottery vessels are the oldest in the world. They are characterized by their decoration from impressions, which resemble rope. The word Jōmon means "cord markings" or "patterns."

Because the Jōmon period covered a great deal of time, the vessels themselves changed throughout the period.

I've been really into pottery as of late, particularly Japanese pottery, as I am in love with the shapes and styles. I wanted to try my hand at Kintsugi, and this is my final product. I first hated it because some pieces were not fitting right, but after some time, I've come to really like it. It's sloppy, but oddly, I admire it, especially how it looks stacked on my bookshelf.

花屋でアルバイトをしています。男性のお客様で、花選びが上手で、スマートな買い方する方にとてもときめきます。

姿の格好良さではなくて、素敵だな格好いいなと感じます。気障とかでもなくて、本当にスマートに買って帰る方いらしゃって、そんな方には抱かれたいなと素直に思ってしまいます。

花言葉をきちんと把握して、TPOに合わせて買ったり、普段から買い慣れているので、季節を少し先取りしたお花を奥様や彼女さんに贈ったり、四季に合わせて、いつ何が入荷するのかよくご存じで、一番その花が美しい時期に合わせて買っていきます。

しゃがんだり、かがんだりするし、手荒れもひどいし、寒い場所なので肌をなるべく見せないように気をつけていますが、デートするなら、できるだけ肌を露出して、色っぽくせまりたいなと、夢想した���します。

M気質なので、少し乱暴に扱われたいなと思ったりして、くらくらしてしまいます。

気に入ったお客様だと、今度はどんな花をお選びになるのかなと思ったり、またいらっしゃって、ひと言二言お話ししたいなと思います。

でも、好きな方がいらっしゃって、プレゼントされているんだなと寂しく思ったりもしますが、その方の想いがきちんと届きますようにと思って、丁寧にラッピングしたりアレンジしたりしています。不思議と私のアレンジした花束やアレンジメントは、人と人を結んでくれるみたいです。

なんて思いながら、��先に立って、濡れています。
