You and I agree on the CLSW (cranlime sparkling), haven’t tried the others but I’ll look into them. The normal lime one is also amazing on its own, as well as a mixer for both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Summer must!

Their detergent is nice tho, and I’ve also gotten their wool laundry balls but you really only ever gotta buy them like once. They also usually have pretty cute cards at the checkout! I like their cheaper flowers too, but there’s also a lot of very cute seasonal items they carry that I just can’t justify buying bc of price (have you seen their felt sunflowers? So adorable)

Things I’ve gotten from there that I hated? I didn’t like their orange chicken, ANY of the cereals I’ve gotten from there oddly enough, their pecorino Romano only comes grated and mixed iirc and I didn’t care for it. Some of their beers have made me scowl but also those are all random brands. But their wine (yes, even SHAW. But shoutout to coco bon red blend and blue fin moscato RIP!) has never does me wrong…except for any other flavor of the simpler wines canned ones. I can only do the sparkling white and literally no else I've forced to drink it has liked it! some of their salads have done me wrong. the canned chickpeas and dolmas were off. and some of their pricy juice mixes left me a bit disappointed.

Not weird at all!! I am also nosy and curious. This is a great compliment because I’m always worried I smell bad. So my routine is: (and note, this routine is ONLY when I have spoons and energy. If it’s a low energy/high pain day, I only wash my hair and my body and put on deodorant)

- I double wash my hair with shampoo (lately I’ve been using aussie miracle curls shampoo and conditioner)

- put in a tiny bit of conditioner on my ends and leave it in while I finish the rest of my routine

- wash my body (usually old spice body wash but rn I’m using a bath and body works tea tree oil bar soap a customer gave me)

- wash my face (with literally any face wash I find cheap at the store) with a exfoliation face scrubber

- shave my legs or armpits if I’m doing that (I usually don’t though)

- wash out the conditioner

- put on deodorant immediately once I’m out of the shower (usually men’s old spice)

- skin care! I’m not prone to acne at all, so I just use hyaluronic acid and a moisturizer (rn I’m using the ordinary for both) (sometimes I use a SPF sunscreen moisturizer instead if I’m going outside or driving)

- moisturize my body (right now I’m using a bath and body works vanilla scented lotion) (I also sometimes use jasmine oil if I want to smell really good)

- hair care!! I gently brush out any tangles in my hair with a wide tooth comb, scrunch it with my hands, add curl cream (I’m using not your mother’s curl talk curl cream, but only a tiny bit because it’s pretty heavy and my hair isn’t super curly), scrunch it again with a hair towel (not a regular towel, but one made specifically for hair), and then let it air dry.

I can’t decide if Genesis bleaches his hair or uses henna. (Or it’s natural?) He found it in an article about haunted places in New Orleans. It’s an old and still active hotel that has some parts that date back to the 1800s. There are reports about slammed doors, weird noises and mysterious shadows too, but it is a nice hotel overall and he’s quite sure Thena would appreciate that more than sleeping on a train or traveling buses whenever they investigate in another town, or even another state. So he saves up and surprises her.

Things go smoother than he expected. Thena seems genuinely looking forward to the trip. They spend the day exploring the city, and at 11 pm, they return to the hotel and get down to business. They start checking out the antiques, looking at the painting and sitting at the empty hotel bar in total darkness, trying to gather evidence. When they get something that sounds like a greeting from the music box, Thena tries to ask the ghosts (if they existed) to follow her home, or better, rip her bones out and put them on her face, Gil takes it as his cue to jump off the chair and get out of that bar.

They move to their rooms, which are on the first floor, and do their solo investigation. Thena practically squeals in delight, causing Gil to yelp and drop his camera on the other side of the wall, only to find out that she just spotted the jacuzzi tub in her bathroom. Moments later, he runs to her room, his face pale, and pushes her toward his room like a human shield while swearing that he can hear footsteps outside his balcony. They step out there, look around and find nothing.

“I’m not trying to dismiss you,” Thena says, “But it’s probably just wind rattling the door.”

“If a ghost picked me up and spun me around the ceiling, you’d say it’s probably dust.”

She stifled a laugh, pointing upwards, “There are a few rooms up there, maybe you heard other guests stomping around?”

“Fine, then let’s go downstairs and ask the front desk if there’s anybody staying in those rooms.”

Gil clings to her shoulders as soon as the clerk says the rooms above them are unoccupied. Thena just shrugs, if no one is there, then it’s wind. She looks at the watch and yawns.

“So? It’s your call, are we going up there and looking around or do I get to try the jacuzzi?”

He catches onto her words like it’s a lifeline, “Alright, because you seem tired, let’s call it a night. And in the morning, we’ll ask around to see if anyone else heard that.”

She lifts an eyebrow but says nothing, letting him guide her by the small of her waist toward the stairs.

He just gets out of the shower (his room doesn’t have a tub) when he hears very clearly the unmistakable sound of someone stomping around right above him.

“Nope,” he throws his towel on the bed and starts putting his clothes on in record time, “Absolutely not.”

He knocks on Thena’s room, fully prepared to be laughed in the face. He can sleep on the too-small couch in there or even the floor, but there’s no way he’s going to sleep in that room. Oh, I'm very boring here. Aside from shampoo and conditioner, I occasionally use leave-in conditioner, styling foam when I feel like enhancing my slight curls, hairspray whenever I create a slightly more elaborate updo that I want to last. I have a scalp exfoliating treatment that I'm very bad at actually using (my scalp is prone to dry itchiness and some flaking), and a tea tree oil based spray that soothes itchiness that I'm better at using. After a long day, made longer after a run-in with an old college friend, you bask in the careless warmth of the misty shower. Your muscles ease as you sway and sing along to the song out of tune, nothing compared to the legendary 90s diva. You close your eyes and lose yourself in the scent of your jasmine soap.

You open your eyes as you sense movement, the shadows playing against the shower curtain but you shriek as a silhouette stands just on the other side. You grab a bottle of shampoo and grip the curtain as you try to cover yourself and swing blindly around the edge.

“Don’t be afraid. It’s me,” your hand is caught as you come face to face with Jensen.

“What the hell are you doing here?” you drop the bottle and tear your wrist away, “what the fuck, Jake?”

“I saw you today, with him…”

“Jesus Christ, get out!” you shoo him with your hand, “I’m kinda busy!”

Your annoying co-worker never seemed to get a hint and ever since you invited him to have drinks with a few other of your work cohorts, he’d grown pesky and persistent. Now he was in your apartment, a plastic sheet away from your naked body.

“I should call the fucking cops!” you snarl and punch his shoulder as he just stands there dumbly with a hurt look on his face.

“I knocked,” he says, “several times, and called. You don’t answer me--”

“You think maybe that means something!” you rip your towel from the bar and step back to cover yourself, stepping out without cranking off the shower, “go, go, out!”

“Why are you being so mean?” he pouts.

“You can’t be serious right now, Jake, you’re in my home,” you shove him and still doesn’t budge.

“You have to understand, I’m not jealous! It’s just… you’re mine,” he frowns, “so you can’t just talk to other guys.”

“What are you on about? Jake, I’m not interest--”

You hit the wall and the air flows out of your lungs at impact. His hands frame your face as he keeps you against the tile, his thumb rubbing your cheek bone.

“Why did you ask me out then?”

“It wasn’t… it was a group thing, Jake, we just wanted to include you,” you sputter, “please let me go, you’re scaring me.”

He’s quiet as his forehead wrinkles with pain and his face falls. His eyes drift away as he thinks. He pushes his tongue against the inside of his lip.

“You’re lying to me,” his voice is so low it makes you shiver, “I know you like me.”

“Jake, please, this isn’t… this isn’t normal,” you grab his wrists gently, “just let me get dressed and we can talk--”

“No, no,” he says desperately, “you smiled at me! You touched my arm, your feet were pointing right at me.”

“That’s not… not how it works,” he squeezes your jaw and his thumb glides over your bottom lip, “please--”

“Why? Why is it always no!” he shakes you and your head bounces off the tile painfully, “why?”

“Ow,” you groan and his thumb slips into your mouth.

He glares at you and his eyes fixate on his thumb. He pushes it deeper and you try to turn away from him. You’re too dizzy and he’s too strong. He pushes down on your tongue and leans in, inhaling the scent of your body wash.

“That’s what I want,” he whisper as he speaks into your hair, “use your mouth…” he grips the sides of your head and makes you look him in the face as he grins, “I’m done talking.”

What are your clexa's favorite shampoo and soap scents?

There was no fic/au specification so i'm gonna answer with a few (modern) ones:

DES Clarke prefers men's soap scents, the woodsy amber ones that have the scent stay on her skin for longer, which contrasts with the sweet mango shampoo she uses. DES Lexa smells like a walking garden, jasmine and cotton for her skin and her hair smells like roses, its all soft but the moment you smell it, those scents become immediately associated with her;

Farm clexa share both soap and shampoo, they buy it from a small business in town in bars. Their soap smells like honey and their shampoo smells like chamomile <3

Cam Girls Lexa looooves fruity scents, both her soap and shampoo smell like wild berries and strawberries. As an added bonus, the soap has sparkles in it :) Clarke used to be the type that would buy whatever she found, but Lexa once bought her a vanilla and papaya blend for shampoo and Clarke feel in love with the smell. She's a big fan of coconut milk body wash too!
