A group of vigilantes called the "tobacco-forces" is falling apart. To rebuild team spirit, their leader suggests that they meet for a week-long retreat, before returning to save the world.

It's a bit silly to complain that the summary and the trailer for a Quentin Dupieux movie is a bit misleading. After all his films are all quite absurd.

But the whole Tobacco Force element is only a small part, a number of unrelated horror stories that are being told take up considerable running time.

All of it is as usual very bonkers and mostly funny. But it also feels very fragmentary.

Things go badly for a small film crew shooting a low budget zombie movie when they are attacked by real zombies.

I haven't seen the movie this is based one. Which makes it probably easier to enjoy since I didn't know exactly what to expect.

You have to make it through the "broadcast" version at the beginning and the background story that follows afterwards. But it's very much worth it since it all pays off during the very funny behind-the-scenes version at the end.
