Hauntober Prompt 21: Forest

Wicked Woods

“Kerry, I swear to god if you don’t relax your grip on my arm you’re going to break it.” Miles hissed as he yanked his arm out of his terrified friend's grasp and held it gingerly against his chest.

“Miles please, I’m just scared.” Kerry pleaded as grabbed Mile's hoodie and clung closely. The pair had been walking along a haunted trail in the woods late at night. Red lights flooded the path before them as set pieces possibly hid devious creatures just waiting to jump out at them. Eerie noises and fog filled the air, as the two friends gingerly ventured forward.

“I can’t believe Jordan just abandoned you with me. Not cool at all, I’m not buying him barbecue after this now.” Miles swore as they creeped past a bloodied body on the ground, waiting for it to pop up and scream at them.

“Miles I don’t know if I can finish this dude.” Kerry stammered in Miles' ear as he clung closely to his friend's side with a death grip.

Stopping in his tracks, Miles turns towards Kerry and spoke to him, “I’m going to get you out of here dude, we’ve made it this far and we both spent money on the tickets. You’re going to get out of this alive, I promise you!” He assured him. “Just grab onto the back of my hoodie and keep your head down.”

Kerry acknowledged Miles instructions as he hid behind his friend and kept his head down, letting the other lead them forward. The only thing in sight for him was the ground beneath as the two began their awkward shuffle forwards. A chainsaw revved up as they passed a shack, an actor rushed out, growling as he circled the pair following closely behind until they left the area.

“See that wasn’t so bad dude.” Miles assured him.

“Maybe for you, but I could feel his breath on my neck!” Kerry whimpered, still holding on tight and shuffling behind.

“Kerry please, you’re choking me.” Miles choked out as the tension on his hoodie eased up. “Just a little bit farther now.”

The two pressed on down the path as Miles led the way. Occasionally stopping as Kerry kept choking him with the hoodie. Screams and cries escaped the pair as actors crept up on them, eventually the terror died down as the two neared the exit with Kerry breaking into a full on sprint leaving Miles behind as he escaped the haunted trail.

“You’ve got to be kidding me.” He sighed as he rushed after Kerry, catching his breath once he caught up to his two friends, finally reunited.

“What took y’all so long, I’ve been waiting at least ten minutes.” Jordan grinned as Miles stared at him disapprovingly.”

“You’re the one who left us to die back there!” Kerry barked at him. “You know what, let’s just go, Miles promised me barbecue and he’s not buying yours.”

So Max/Sasha is now canon. Kind of. Link to a video explaining it here. So I made a Max/Sasha fan kid. Her name is Anjuli and she is eleven.

Unlike her parents at her age, Anjuli is a very kind kid. She's not perfect. She can cause trouble just like any kid sometimes, but she is rarely acting out maliciously. She has a tendency to cuss often, though.

Her mom, Sasha, is normally very busy running her cosmetic company, but whenever she has a day off or something, she tries to spend as much time as she can with her family. Her dad, Max, only job is at Camp Campbell, or as it's now called Camp Camp under David's management, and since she goes to said camp every summer as well, Anjuli is never truly apart from her dad. Max wants to make sure he doesn't repeat his birth parents' mistakes, so he does everything he can to make sure Anjuli knows he is there for her. He constantly asks her if she feels okay or needs any help and all kinds of other questions. Anjuli loves her parents and is grateful for them, but she can feel a bit overwhelmed by her dad and sometimes feels she needs some more space.

Anjuli isn't signed up for any particular camp but is interested in the new occult camp. Max suspects she gained an interest in the occult thanks to her Uncle Harrison's magic (I headcanon that David adopted both Max and Harrison), Gwen showing her kid-friendly horror films and shows at a young age, and Max revealing to her that he met a ghost when he was young. Max has caught her trying to sneak over to Spooky Island, use an Ouija board, or play some spooky game like Bloody Mary several times. Most of the time, she isn't truly hurting anyone or herself, so he's fine with it, but there is no way he is letting her go to Spooky Island by herself, no matter how much she wants to meet the ghost there. He has seen what Quartermaster does over there, and he is not letting his daughter witness that.

That's all I got for right now. I will probably kick myself for not adding something else later.

the little boy next to Bendy, is Synth-Shaun aka "Shaun" who's designation is S9-23 from Fallout 4...

the Tarantulas in this drawing, is the version from Transformers: EarthSpark.

the Spinel in this, is what she looks like in her third form in the Spinelluva Boss AU. and at first I was going to have Robo-Fizz being the one who is resting his head on her lap, but then I decided to put Fat-Nuggets there instead, who is bringing a smile on Spinel’s face, but originally she wasn’t going to smile.

I might have this as a cover for one of the future chapters over at Quotev...

Cozy Glow is crying, and she has a picture of herself, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo, the picture of them has her tears on it.

for all we know, part of the reason Cozy Glow did what she did, might have had to do with those three, and we know their human counterparts had crossed a line when it came to Sunset and their sisters...

the Sonic in this drawing is suppose to be the one from Sonic Prime, and next to him is the Red Prism Shard, it being a part of The Paradox Prism.

I started on this drawing on May 17, 2023 and finished it on May 20, 2023.

Foxy is suppose to be comforting Blitzo, we can think of the hook as not being the same one that he normally has, and being made out of plastic.

the reason why Lancer is wearing a crown, is because he is the new ruler of the Card Kingdom, and I do have a theory that he and the real Ralsei are stuck in the Card Kingdom, while a fake version of Ralsei appears back in Castle Town in Chapter 2, and Faux-Ralsei traps the Real Ralsei and Lancer in Card Kingdom, by locking that Delta Rune Door, as well as it’s counterpart in the Light World that happens to be the closet in the unused classroom.

the Lancers that are in Castle Town, I think those are Lancer’s brothers.

the King named all of his sons Lancer, and forgets that he has Quadruplet sons who he all named Lancer, and one of them is still back at Card Kingdom with the Real Ralsei.

if Chara ever fell into the dark world after the events of Chapter 1, they could end up in Card Kingdom and end up befriending (mostly against their will...but ends up willing to be later on...) both Lancer and Ralsei.

unlike the Chara the Player sees during a Geno Route, this version of Chara has their eyes covered by their bangs much like Kris.

maybe the Chara in this drawing, could be a introvert and doesn’t like talking about their brother, the original Prince Asriel. 

anyway, Spinelluva Boss is suppose to be a Crossover of Steven Universe and Helluva Boss, but it can still have other crossover elements in it, but not all of them will be in a major role.

Far from the most damning as far as Rooster Teeth horror stories, but for those of us who loved Camp Camp it’s an especially harsh kick in the teeth.

I know he’s on tumblr a bunch so on the off chance he searches his name: Go to hell, Jordan. If even a fiftieth of the abuse the animators and other employees have suffered at RT falls on your shoulders, you should be completely fucking ashamed.
