i asked my best friend which digimon i'd be, and he said "drimogemon"
and then i added a junkmon stage even if it's not a possible evolution (but, it should)
happy creative child to sad, anxious adult

Interesting. They're not immediately making the cover Digimon (Pteromon and Shoemon) be with Shoto and Arisa at first. Usually, the first episode (or in this case, the prologue/Episode 00) are usually the ones they're shown with in the concept art. Seems that they want to try something different.

Digi-partner: Abayomis
So Digimon are weird there are official lines, but in lore usually in theory any digimon has the potential to become anyone. Which means it can be really fun, similar to building a Pokemon team that represents you. You can try to stick to an important theme or can use each stage to represent another different aspect of you. I'm gonna create a line that I think is fun, has some thematic connections and color cohesion. And Since each digimon doesn't necessarily stick to one through-line, i'm gonna pick one child/rookie and then give two distinct lines that go in a different direction. ROOKIE! Junkmon

Junkmon I feel like has a lot of potential as a partner digimon. He evokes plushie qualities which means there is an immediate connection to a child partner. But it has a frankly scrappy and mischievous quality, then again the helmet also gives me a protective quality and makes me think of a dependable blue collar worker Has a lot of potential. He also makes me think of the friends we would make exploring the Junk in our Aunts basement as we did laundry. It's also a fun mixture of animal and inanimate objects. That nature, and its plushie nature also is a reason why I think it would be a good representation of us. ( also can you imagine a cute little Butch Junkmon anthro.) FIRST DIGIVOLUTION LINE: CHAMPION/ADULT: Komondomon

Komondomon builds on a lot of fun aspects its very animalistic kind of like agiant dog creature, but built into it is more inanimate objects, it's a whole vehicle now. Very friendly, very useful and reliable.
ULTIMATE/PERFECT Locomon

Locomon will be a brief yet important shift to reach the final cohesion of the line. AT this point our body has shifted hard into inanimate, but the sides of Locomon are evocative of the claws of Junkmon, and it keeps the transportation vehicle nature of Komondomon MEGA/ULTIMATE: Heavyleomon

Heavyleomon brings alot of the strong colors of Junkmon back, at this point they are mostly object with only a small animal theme for an aesthetic, it has wheels and other aspects that call back to the previous two stages. Very buly, very strong complete robot. It is delightful. BUT We have another direction, a softer aspect to explore. DIGIVLUTION LINE 2 CHAMPION/ADULT Nohemon

Nohemon focusing on keeping the Plushie part but moves away from the more animaly specific vibe of its counterpart Komondomon. Or astleast at face value. The crow is the actual true form, noe beaver to crow is a big deal but I think the stuffed creature/fabric aspect keeps the vibes going. The fun hat is also a nice little callback ULTIMATE/PERFECT Monzaemon (with honorary mention of Monzaemon x)

Monzaemon is a creature that exists in a plushie suit, and thats a perfect representation of me. Monzaemon x Antibody, makes the creature some sort of perfect love goo creature, and it is the literal embodiment of me. Maybe a form or slide evolution based onit could be a aprt of the line. If I was a digimon that stayed in one form it would be Monzaemon x antibody. A slime and a plushie. MEGA/PERFECT
Pinochimon

Pinochiomon is a toy themed mega. It would be the perfect choice for me. It is also a neat because it brings a bunch of callbacks, it also have a hat like Junkmon and Nohemon. It mainly being made of wood is a call-back to the straw of Nohemon and the beaver elements of Junkmon being associated with wood. It is also a toy that brings up the conection to Monzaemon and some of Junkmon. I couldn't find anything for the clay vibes for me that felt like it fit into the lines. But i'm pretty happy

LIMBUS COMPANY X DIGIMON! LCB Digimon Partner Lines :D
Being hit with both the PJM and Digimon brain rot is dangerous lmao. But also fun! So here's all the sinners (+ Dante, Vergilius, and Charon) with their partner Digimon and digivolution lines. All of them have some sort of thematic relevance to their human partner (I was feeling a little devious about Ryoshu and Meursault in particular lmao). Also took many creative liberties for most lines, so you may recognize oddities here: Random armour/spirit evolutions/Digixros, Appmon being treated as Digimon, Hudiemon in general. But it's all part of the fun, and Digimon was never really known for having conventional evolution lines anyway.
Everyone's lines:
Yi Sang: Falcomon (original, not the 2006 one!) (Falcomon -> Peckmon -> Crowmon -> Ravemon)
Faust: DORUmon (DORUmon -> DexDORUgamon -> DexDORUGreymon -> DexDORUgoramon)
Don Quixote: Spadamon (Spadamon -> Dorulumon -> YaegerDorulumon -> Dukemon)
Ryoshu: Morphomon (Morphomon -> Hudiemon -> Rizegreymon -> Gaioumon)
Meursault: Coronamon (Coronamon -> Firamon -> Flaremon -> Apollomon)
Hong Lu: Gumdramon (Gumdramon -> Arresterdramon -> Arresterdramon Superior Mode -> Qinglongmon)
Ishmael: Gomamon (Gomamon -> Hookmon -> CaptainHookmon -> Regalecusmon)
Heathcliff: Offmon (Offmon -> Sangloupmon -> Shutmon -> Cresgarurumon)
Rodion: Bearmon (Bearmon -> Chackmon -> Blizzarmon -> Hexablaumon)
Sinclair: Pteromon (Pteromon -> Galemon -> Grandgalemon -> Zephagamon)
Outis: Aegiomon (Aegiomon -> Aegiochusmon -> Jupitermon). Champion stage by default.
Gregor: Kunemon (Kunemon - Stingmon -> Jewelbeemon -> BanchoStingmon)
Dante: Watchmon (Watchmon -> Clockmon -> Globemon -> Gaiamon (the Appmon one))
Vergilius: Dorbickmon (Ryudamon -> Allomon -> Megagrowlmon -> Dorbickmon). Mega stage by default.
Charon: Junkmon (Junkmon -> Komondomon -> Cargodramon -> Aegisdramon)

Alright guys here's my spoiler free opinion on Digimon Liberator Episode 0 and 1, and with spoilers under the cut.
Also starting next week I will also reblog Digimon Liberator stuff with the tag #Digimon Liberator spoilers, so make sure to blacklist/filter that if you want!
Ok, so I feel like the series had a good start! (besides the technical issues, but they fixed them within the first day)
To me, the main characters felt likable from the start! Both of them being passionate about Digimon (and the card game), and being in their late teens, makes them more relatable to the current audience of Digimon.

The art is great, love the colors, the characters are very expressive And I think they did a good job visualizing the card game play.
Even if you don't know how the game works, it's simple enough to follow, and there are basic explanations when needed. With the colors and expressions and everything, it just all looks fun and it is fun to read!
While I don't have a lot of experience reading webcomic, and thus can't really compare it, I felt the artist used the layout of the vertcial medium well! I also felt like Chapter 1 had a decent length, considering its bi-weekly release, it didin't feel like we didn't get enough content for the wait.
Maybe I'm just a little too excited about another Digimon series, but I'm very much looking forward to reading more!

Ok for those who read it or don't mind spoilers
Something that really stood out to me is that the Digimon themselves just look really great!

Like I said above, the visual representation of the card game mechanics is done really well, and looks great!

I am also curious if the characters will continue to have multiple partner digimon? I love Muchomon and Junkmon as partners, and I how Pteromon and Shoemon don't completely replace them!

They also set up a decent amount of intrigue- Owen seems to be famous and popular, but Zenith is a newcomer who quickly rose up! He also participated in the Liberator beta! What kind of person is he, and how did he get to play the beta if he is new to the game? Who is the pretty mystery girl? Looking at promotional material she appears to be partnered with a Sunalizamon.
What is going on with that rogue NPC? Why are they chasing Shoemon? What's up with Pteromon? What does it mean by "This is my Island!"?
I don't know what to say guys, I'm just happy for more Digimon content in my life

With Odaiba Day around the corner have you ever thought about what your Natik characters might be if they were in the Digimon universe? Be it humans with digimon partners or as digimon themselves?
Di-di-di-DIGIMON?
I LOVE this question, and I've been spending a ton of time contemplating my answers. I don't have one for everybody yet, but I'll probably keep adding on to this because I'm OBSESSED.
* * *
Amto's partner: Junkmon

"A Puppet Digimon with a habit of tossing junk parts into the cannon on its back. It creates a comfortable environment by dismantling structures in its surroundings. If a well-known factory disappears before you know it, then a large number of Junkmon may be responsible."
A big trait for Amto is resourcefulness; she's good at solving problems in unconventional ways and making use of what she has. Part of her character arc involves using her problem solving and creativity to help create a better life for herself and her companions. Depictions of Junkmon seem to hint at it being a gregarious, team-oriented species, and I feel this also fits Amto's character arc: she struggles early on finding a sense of belonging and purpose, and Junkmon could help her see her potential as a problem solver and a leader.
Kitki's partner: Wormmon

"A Larva Digimon with a timid, cowardly personality. Just like V-mon and the others, it's a descendant of an ancient species, so it is able to perform special Armor evolutions, but since Wormmon is powerless when by itself, it can't possibly match up to larger Digimon. However, by Armor evolving with the power of the Digimentals, it is able to manifest unbelievable power. Also, it is said that in order for the fragile larva to grow into a powerful imago, Wormmon will one day evolve into an Adult overflowing with power. It can definitely be said that it is a Digimon who has hidden potential for the future."
At first I wanted to give Kitki a patamon since she is a little bit like TK, but thematically wormmon fits her character better. Kitki is someone who is often waved off and underestimated, partly because she's a child, and partly because she's very sensitive and gentle- jaded adults find it naïve. With encouragement and understanding from her closest sibling, Kitki is able to find confidence in who she is and can realize her potential. Wormmon fits perfectly with this, because it too is underestimated and waved off as "weak." Kitki has the right personality to nurture a wormmon into becoming its best self, and Wormmon would reflect her journey of growth and potential with its metamorphosis motif. Also Wormmon is green, which is Kitki's color motif.

What if the Digidestined had different partners. Based on a project Unsaid Media ran on a digimon discord until recently where you'd submit a rookie and a crest from Adventure and they'd come up with a line for it. They came up with Goblinmon/Courage, Junkmon/Knowledge, Monmon/Sincerity and Gizamon/Reliability and I came up with Bearmon/Friendship, Herissmon/Love, Kotemon/Hope and Ghostmon/Light
