sure! so barça femení are eligible to win 4 titles every year as part of liga f, which is why you often hear fans saying they want to go for the quadruple:

champions league - uefa women's champions league aka queens of europe

liga f league - best record for a team in liga f primera división

supercopa - 4 team super cup tournament that includes the winners and runner-ups of copa de la reina and the next two highest ranked teams from the liga f season

copa de la reina (queen's cup) - annual cup competition that includes teams from lower leagues too that is run by rfef and named after the queen of spain

this structure closely matches the men's la liga format except the last cup is called copa de la rey (king's cup). one major difference is that the women do not have a europa league equivalent if they do poorly in the group stage of uwcl.

barça has never won all 4 in the same season. we came close last year but were disqualified from copa de la reina when we improperly fielded geyse who had to serve out a red card suspension. similarly, we lost the supercopa tourney during the 2020-21 season (same year as our first uwcl win).

i'm not sure if you are an english wsl fan, but that may provide the closest analogy in terms of the league and cup structure (champions league. league title, fa cup, and conti cup)

With 10-15 million Congolese murdered and countless others brutalized in Belgium's Congo Free State between 1885 and 1908, why isn't Belgian King Leopold I as reviled as slave traders, Stalin, or Hitler?

Treating the entire country as his own personal rubber plantation, Leopold forced even the children to slave away for his personal enrichment - and took their hands if the didn't work quickly enough.

Leopold I was the owner and absolute ruler of the Congo Free State from 1885 to 1908.

In 1885, the colonial nations of Europe authorized his claim by committing the Congo Free State to improving the lives of the native inhabitants. Leopold ignored these conditions and ran the Congo using the govt mercenaries for his personal gain. He extracted a fortune, initially from ivory, and later, by forced labour from the native population to harvest and process rubber.

Leopold's rule was characterised by atrocities, including torture and murder, from systematic brutality.

In 1890, George Washington Williams coined the term "crimes against humanity" to describe the practices of Belgium's administration of the Congo Free State.

The hands of men, women, and children were amputated when the quota of rubber was not met and millions of Congolese died.

In 1908, the reports of deaths and abuse, and pressure from international groups and the Congo Reform Association, the first mass human rights movement, caused the Belgian government to take over the administration of the Congo from Leopold.

The Congo was given independence in 1960.

Leopold's legacy has been debated frequently, but as late as 2010, Louis Michel, a Belgian member of the European Parliament and former Belgian foreign minister, called Leopold Il a "visionary hero."

In 2020, King Philippe released a statement expressing his "deepest regret" for the wounds of the colonial past, and the "acts of violence and cruelty committed" in the Congo during colonisation but did not explicitly mention Leopold's role in the atrocities.

Es un escritor y traductor japonés, autor de novelas, relatos y ensayos, nacido en Kioto en enero de 1949.

Sus libros han generado críticas positivas y ha obtenido numerosos premios.

Sus obras han sido traducidas a cincuenta idiomas y su estilo, en algunos casos, ha sido criticado por el establishment literario japonés como no japonesa. Su obra está influida por el surrealismo y la alineación.

Aunque nació en Kioto, vivió la mayor pate de su juventud en Hyogo. Su padre era hijo de un sacerdote budista y su madre de un comerciante de Osaka. Ambos enseñaban literatura japonesa.

Desde su infancia Murakami estuvo muy influido por la cultura occidental, en particular por la música y la literatura, y creció leyendo numerosas obras de autores estadounidenses como Kurt Vonnegur y Richard Brautigan.

Estudió literatura y teatro griegos en la Universidad Waseda, donde conoció a su esposa. Antes de terminar sus estudios, abrió el bar de jazz “Peter Cat” en el cual trabajó junto con su esposa de 1974 a 1981.

En 1986 con el enorme éxito de su novela “Norwegian Woods”, abandonó Japón para vivir en Europa y en los Estados Unidos, regresando a Japón en 1995. 

La ficción de Murakami, es a menudo tachada de literatura pop, es humorística y sureal, aunque al mismo tiempo refleja la soledad y el ansia en el amor en un modo que conmueve a los lectores tanto orientales como occidentales.

Muchas de la novelas de Murakami tienen títulos referidos a canciones como Dance, dance, dance, Norwegian Woods (de los Beatles) y South of the Border (referencia en una canción de Nat King Cole).

Murakami está considerado como una figura importante en la literatura postmoderna y el diario “The Guardian” lo ha posicionado entre los mayores novelistas de la actualidad.

Murakami es capaz de crear mundos que por muy oníricos que resulten, tienen una lógica aplastante, o que  por lo menos tienen una lógica mientras lo estás leyendo.

Según la revista “Esquire” los libros de Murakami pueden leerse en el siguiente orden: “Tokio Blues”, “Kafka en la Orilla”, “Al sur de la frontera, al oeste del sol”, “Crónica del pájaro que da cuerda al mundo”, “La caza del carnero salvaje” y “Escucha la canción del viento y pinball 1973” esta última en realidad son dos novelas. Finalmente “De qué hablo cuando hablo de correr” y “El elefante desaparece” una antología de historias cortas emotivas, extravagantes y también románticas.

Ha sido considerado al Premio Nobel de Literatura en diferentes ocasiones sin que hasta el momento haya obtenido algún galardón.
