The other day I was catching up on Star Trek: Lower Decks because my sister really wants me to watch the crossover with Strange New Worlds, and I really want to watch things in order. I took a break and reblogged a voice clip of Wambus from Bugsnax because I liked the end-of-his-emotional-rope kind of delivery the actor was doing.

And I went back to Lower Decks to hear the same actor doing basically the same thing as Shaxs, also because of romantic problems. I knew the characters shared a voice actor, but it was weird to hear him do the same specific delivery, since I don't think either character normally talks like that. They're both gruff guys, but I'd say their voices are distinct.

So I was like "That's a really weird coincidence," and kept watching, and soon after there was this line:

...Now you're just making fun of me, Lower Decks.
