The Strange Disappearance of Kenny Veach

The Mojave Desert, located in the southwestern United States, is a brutal and unforgiving landscape.

Sprawling over parts of four states; California, Nevada, Arizona and Utah, the area is so vast that entire European countries like Ireland and Iceland could fit comfortably within its boundaries.

The “high desert” is prone to extreme temperatures and arid conditions. In November of 2014, an American hiker named Kenny Veach had a strange encounter with a mysterious cave in the Sheep Mountain area, just north of Las Vegas.

Once, he posted: “I hike over mountain top after mountain top and sleep on peaks under the stars . . . Sometimes I have to scale giant cliffs to get myself out of a jam, but I always make it back.”

He was proud of the fact that there was only one time that he had to be rescued on one of his adventures, and that was when he injured his leg at the top of a mountain.

Tired of the daily Monday-through-Friday grind, Kenny wanted to be his own boss, be in charge of his own life, and have the free time to immerse himself in his desert explorations.

So, he quit his day job and decided to be an inventor. He started a YouTube channel, documenting his creations and his forays into the desert.

It was in June of 2014, using the name Snakebitmcgee, Kenny left a comment in response to a YouTube video that read: That ain’t nothing. I am a long-distance hiker. One time, during one of my hikes out by Nellis Air Force Base, I found a hidden cave.

The entrance to the cave was shaped like a perfect capital M. I always enter every cave I find, but as I began to enter this particular cave, my whole body began to vibrate.

The closer I got to the cave entrance, the worse the vibrating became. Suddenly, I became very scared and high-tailed it out of there. That was one of the strangest things that ever happened to me. 

Unbeknownst to Kenny and the rest of the world, that comment would have tragic consequences.

Kenny’s comment on that video sparked a flurry of requests for him to prove his claim.

Since he hadn’t documented the first trip to what would become known as “the M cave”, he needed to go back to the area to locate it and, this time, document what he found.

On his second search for the cave, he went armed with a 9-millimeter handgun and a video camera. 

He documented some wildlife and found a whole horde of pine nuts that he gleefully ate on camera. He stood next to an abandoned mine shaft and rather sheepishly declared that he was unable to find the cave on his second hike.

Much to Kenny’s dismay, that video was met with criticism. Many thought he had made the whole thing up, and the public demanded proof of his claim of a mysterious cave with supernatural properties.

Viewers actively encouraged, and some even dared Kenny to go back out to the mountain range a third time. 

However, one comment on his video, which has since been deleted, read, “No! Do not go back there. If you find that cave entrance, don’t go in, you won’t get out.”

Whether that comment was made by somebody teasing Kenny or whether it was a serious warning by somebody who was personally familiar with the cave is unknown.

Regarding the M cave, Kenny said, “I solo hike across mountain tops that most people wouldn’t dare go. I have been in more caves than I can count. I play with rattlesnakes for fun. But this one particular cave was beyond anything I had ever encountered.”

Hoping to put the naysayers in their place, Kenny hiked out to the territory a third time.

On the 10th of November 2014, Kenny once again made his way to the Sheep Mountain area, which is close to the U.S. Air Force installation called Area 51, known for its speculated connection to UFOs and secret government experiments.

It’s located near Groom Lake and is within the Nevada Test and Training Range. As late as 2012, the U.S. government denied the existence of Area 51, and it is still closed to the public.

Both ground and aerial searches were conducted, but no sign of Kenny could be found.

Dave Cummings from Red Rock Search & Rescue reported finding Kenny’s cell phone next to an abandoned vertical mine shaft, where he filmed part of the M cave video.

Specially trained individuals were called in to conduct a search of the mine. Unfortunately, aside from his vehicle and his cell phone, no trace of Kenny was ever found.

In November of 2014, the mysterious disappearance of YouTuber and outdoorsman Kenny Veach had the internet in a chokehold. After posting a video regarding a strange cave he encountered during a routine solo hike through the Mojave Desert, Kenny would vanish forever with no trace left behind except for his cellphone near a decommissioned mineshaft. As the public became increasingly aware of the mysterious circumstances surrounding the incident, wild conspiracy theories began to fly, ranging from the wacky to the full-on “tinfoil rabbit hole”. Was the M Cave Real? If so, where is it? And, more importantly, where is Kenny Veach?

Another pitch for a “Dark Pictures Anthology” game:

1) Title:

“OPERATION SAMSON” (reasoning: the game is about lab experiments meant to turn people into super humans)

2) Story:

Set in Nevada. Inspired by the unexplained disappearance of Kenny Veach and his search of the “M cave”, you play as a group of assassins in Las Vegas who are on a mission to take out a journalist who is writing a story that will expose the mob’s operations. The assassins screw up the hit, leading to a car chase through the desert. When the journalist’s car breaks down, they are forced to take shelter in a “M-shaped” cave. The criminals, not too far behind, follow the journalist into the cave.

Unbeknownst to the journalist and the assassins, what they just walked into was a secret entrance into Area 51.

3) What to expect:

Since “House of Ashes” was about aliens, I pictured this game going in a different direction, despite Area 51 being the setting. I pictured the game having a more “human” terror, with the horror being the CIA and their horrific experiments. Basically, imagine these characters walking into Project MKUltra as it’s happening.

Or, I guess just imagine “Stranger Things” since that show was also inspired by MKUltra. Another good reference point would be the first “Resident Evil” movie.

4) The playable cast:

a) Dahlia Cheng (NOBLE, STUBBORN): The journalist on the run from the assassins. She uses the same face model as Felicity Graves from “Hidden Agenda”.

b) Gabriel Jackson (HONEST, UNCARING): The leader of the assassins. He is voiced and mo-capped by Jonathan Majors, making him the “star” of the game.

c) Ian Yamamoto (FOOLHARDY, IMPULSIVE): Member of the assassins. He uses the same face model as Merwin from “House of Ashes”.

d) Diana Wick (RATIONAL, INSECURE): Member of the assassins. She uses the same face model as Julia from “Man of Medan”.

e) Sameer Subrahmanian (CHARMING, LEVEL-HEADED): Member of the assassins. He uses the same face model as Dar Basri from “House of Ashes”.

Hey yo Guys, So I don't want to be involved in that shit Drama That bitch is still causing. I'm gonna be Telling you about What Ever Happened to Kenny Veach/ The story of Kenny Veach / The mystery of the M Cave.

So there was once a guy on youtube Called SnakeBitMgee his Name was Kenneth "Kenny" Lee Veach, He was Born sometime in 1967 His Father was a detective for Lvmpd whatever that police force is called, So he has a Brother named Raymond Veach and a Sister Named Susan, A sister in law Deborah. so he was 47 At the time(2014) he had a Girlfriend Named Sheryon Pilgrim and a daughter Named Victoria "Vicky" Veach/Gabriel? (note: Kenny had a ex-Wife which was Ebony Gabriel I don't understand I got This info about Kenny's Ex-Wife in wikitubia) so he would basically Do his stuff on his own channel post Hike videos and Etc but sometime in 2014 in a Video "Son of Area 51 Technician" (note: you can't find the comments from 2014, they're deleted for some reason" But Kenny Commented on the Video that he found a Mysterious Cave on one of his Hikes at The Mojave desert Which Nellis Air force Base is and The Nellis Air force Bombing Test Range. and area 51 Are not that far in the desert. The Entrance/ Exit of the cave was shaped Like an capital M a perfect M, He tried to Enter it He said it was Narrow, It was dark and Deep And A level to the Ground and was stuck on a side of a Mountain. when he tried to go to it. But however Kenny did Not Bring a Camera when he found The Cave, Nevertheless there weren't as many hiking videos in his channel before. he walks into a Old abandoned Mineshaft and starts to Film his Video He talks about how the Cave is. but here is the description he gave about the Mysterious Entrance : The cave is dark and Deep, It's Pretty Narrow And Large and he said he was able to barely walk in it, it's Leveled to the Ground and Stuck on the side of an Mountain.

Now People Google Images like "Cave stuck on a side of an Mountain and level to the ground" but There are Images which Just show Caves Which are Basically High up not Ground level. he then talks about mountains and canyons he Then starts Hiking and There are 2 M caves and Kenny Later Cleared it out by saying "Uh, You know that's not the Kinda Cave I'm looking for, the kinda Cave I'm looking for is Dark And Deep. it's Leveled to the Ground" so that wasn't the Cave and he moves on and then he then talks about spelunking "If you wanna Go out Spelunking, this is the Place to come Spelunking!" He then talks about it leveled to the ground like an area where there are 4 boulders he just passed Then he saws a cave which creeps him and he says "Doink, I'm not Going Up there" so then he says he probably passed 2/3 canyons already. And then finds a little food and eats and he sits down and talks about it. You know Kenny is a Guy who was intrested in Nature. then he moves on and his camera trips Several times then he later says "Okay So, turns out I did not find the cave" he then zooms into a A mountain showing a Goat Then he said He will talk to you when he gets back to his truck which where he parked at you know people call the Gass Peak. Then he was saying "It's weird, I did not find the Cave." He finds a tortoise and trys to talk to it, however he didnt want to touch it he just tried to get a closer look the tortoise got scared, Then He ends the video with unused footage not included he apologized the tortoise for Disturbing it, however His girlfriend uploaded the Unreleased footage where Kenny talks to us at his truck in the end He did say he had a cooler full of beer he went back to it And says "I made it a point to drink very little water" and Then swears "Shit! damn(audio hard to hear" he says the beer is gonna kill him so then he gets up and grabs the camera and shows the view pointing to mounts like Mount Charleston then he says he is gonna take out his map to see how far he came and that's the video he didn't release the footage with the video but he released his hike video to the Internet and Everyone called him a Liar Because he didn't find the Cave and Everyone encouraged him to Go find the Cave again for one last time. Kenny Is forced to go back one last time, that was the darkest moment you'll ever hear..

Then a Person Named Lemi Killmister Warns him and tells him not to go in the Cave even if he finds the entrance he shouldn't go back in if he does, He won't Get out. Then Kenny responds to Lemi Killmister Saying " What Makes you Say that?" Lemi Killmister did not reply, However he then says he would go on a 3 day Hike and Tell his family he is on a "Short overnight Trip" To hike at NOV 10th 2014 and by then he had been at the Theatre in Las Vegas And then Messages his Girlfriend That he is going there thoose were the last messages of Kenny. However Kenny did Not Bring his camera, He brought his Revolver/Pistol and Cellphone with him. So then Kenny did not Return. He went missing. People who bullied him started to get concerned about him Then after 7 days His. girlfriend Reports that her Boyfriend(Kenny) did not come back but well let's talk about the real Story of Kenny. But well this is emotionally Tragic. Kenny suffered from depression just weeks before his last hike he had thoughts about Su!c!de. But, When kenny was in his mid-20s His father committed su¡c!de. He did not take any Medications or anything. He was not mentally healthy. However his Girlfriend revealed all of this on Kenny's m cave Hike Video comments that she believes that if Kenny Actually committed Su!c!de And then some People don't believe her because there were many reasons. However Susan Veach (Kenny Veach's Sister/sister in law) did confirm His father committed suicide so some of them she said was true but it might not be True that if Kenny shot himself, a Person Named jay Silverheals Believes Sheryon That Kenny Shot himself he hated Kenny worse and called him a Liar Because he thinks Kenny lied About The way the M cave was and The cave Kenny Confirmed as not the M cave he Believes that's the cave and He Stupidly thinks He went up Further North just to shoot himself He Hates Kenny and still makes Videos of this mystery. Trust me that guy is dumb.Kenny was in pretty much debt, He was even at the point he was gonna loose his house, He was at a theatre Before he went out, Enchanted Forest(a Healing Store owned by Kenny's Brother and sister in law) Isn't Far from it, it was possibly the same theatre he and his girlfriend Visited on November 9th It shows that Kenny Messaged his Girlfriend that he was going on a short Overnight trip and said His final Goodbye. however Sheryon Thought Kenny as more as a Son than a Boyfriend, so she did not report after 3 days but after a whole week Sheryon was concered and she tried to report Search and Rescue and LVMPD About What happened to Kenny sar Went out on the Desert with Dogs However the dog was smelling Kenny's Scent it tried to retrace the Steps Of Kenny Sar managed to find His Truck or car parked on the Gass peak or I don't know, However the Dog went to the mineshaft where Kenny started hiking at, Turns out they lost Kenny's Scent. And They managed to find His Mobile phone On the Mineshaft Strangely, However, Kenny wasn't in the Mineshaft, Many youtubers Checked and there wasn't any Remains As a guy Named Jeff Cla (Ik his username is Jef Cla but he has another account with no videos called Jeff Cla I think that's his Full name) He did Went out hiking in search for the M Cave, Not Kenny however he found 2 shallow Suspected Caves that have entrances like an M, he found a Fossil on a Black heavy Volcanic Rock, He Checked the Mineshaft but he didn't even find Anything + remains, he found a Crystal which was shaped like a skull which was very weird no it's not a human remain, it's a Crystals in shape of a Skull. Let's move back to Kenny before his last hike a video Called shark tank Submission.

What I am, and How much I enjoy life." This was Kenny when he submitted his project to Shark-Tank, I don't know what that is but yeah I am not a American so yeah. As he says He is an Artist and an Adventurer Then he shows the Glolar Bear, then he shows a Thing he made he says he bent it into a circle, wraped it in a wire in his yard with sewing it with soda He then drilled it Then he got it beautifully. He shows a black Shirt with a Grave On it reading "Thou, Shalt not get stoned" he made a plushie or a teddy Called Lambda, yeah he made 2 of them, he then pulls out a Gun like model, he says he bought it but he modified the other Mechanism on the side Like a Laser tag. Then pulls out a Stamp with Rednick Whistle written on it he said he didn't use a computer. And then designed it. He then Pulls out a flute Made out of a stick he found in his Hikes. So you see Kenny was A well, Creative and a Professional Hiker, He did not treat people as how his fans did, he was only 47 at the time.

A Hiker Named Sean N/H, Known as Liberia'sean online, has set a trip to find Kenny and the M Cave since 2016/5? So this hiker only hiked in 2016 and a comment to Sean mentioned the 4 Bouldered-Surface which is leveled to the Ground being suspicious, however Sean did Reply, so it took a Couple of years to Sean for going back to search and He went with a guy (Jenkins) They have been staying over there for like a 3 day Hike, in one of them they are sitting in a campfire and There are Various Sounds Coming behind them, Of course they also filmed a quite in The Night. They both got home safe with no harm during those nights and uploaded the video, Sean was a little Close to find The M Cave, A person on Tiktok Mentioned the 4 Bouldered-Surface, and Sean gone back without Jenkins. as soon as he went to the Surface he tried to Put his camera through the boulder, What it seems like inside is a Possible Cave-Like Interior Sean couldn't fit the Camera, he then finally thinks that if he found the Real M cave with no sign of Veach, However ten minutes after Sean Starts coughing-Vomiting as If he was feeling the effect That gone to Veach. Sean managed to get out, as soon as he lost the Covered Cave he started to feel a little better. He then Uploaded his final KVsearch/MCave hike, after this People believed that the M Cave is found, Little did they know That's not yet confirmed..
