THOUGHTS ON CR3E92 IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER:

- FIRST EVER CR CROSSOVER EPISODE?!

LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

- Dariax said "This Flute doesn't play itself anymore." Doriax canon offscreen?

- "After all the handjobs, this is what we mean to you?!" Damn... I mean, I'm glad Opal and Cyrus found a way to relieve stress, Gods know they're both stressed, but damn.

- Ending the episode on Opal Twice-Crowned hitting phase 2 of the boss fight was EVIL!

I love it, @quiddie ! I feel like when this gets animated in a decade or so, we'll get this fight and the fight with Otohan Thull overlayed one on top of the other for a Season Finale or something!

- Raven Queen going two for two on Rogues turned Paladin! Which is great, but now I have to replan Morrighan's moveset for that imaginary Critical Role fighting game that only exists in my head (somebody ask me about it please, I NEED to talk about it!) but at least she gets some Smite options out of the Bunny Hop command jump!

- Dariax is a Bard now too! That's honestly so perfect for Matt! And the fact that both Sorcerers and Bards are Charisma Casters makes me feel like the Synergies are gonna be great!

- Oh, Dorian, wonderful blue king... That's a lot of strength that your Dice will never agree to let you use for anything cool. I missed you SO MUCH!

- Speaking of that imaginary CR fighting game, this just solidified Opal as a puppet character. The tag combos with Ted would be WILD! Think Kenshi from MK1!

- Fy'ra Rai... Just... FY'RA RAI! Gods, I've missed Anjali at the table! Her memory with Opal, her tug-of-war with her thoughts about her sister... THE LAVA WHIP! Nothing sexier than Monks! Except a pissed off Wizard or Druid.

- On the other side of the table, I LOVE the moment the girls all collectively remembered they had to break the news to Frida... Oh, that's gonna hurt BAD!

- Anyone else noticed that Ashton is BURNT OUT and laying on the ground after his Titan form wears off, but Fearne just says she's really tired and just KEEPS GOING? Ashton is DONE for now, but Fearne needs to keep moving forward... Fuck, I love these two.

- Orym... Just... Orym. If you take a level in Barbarian after this, I wouldn't blame you.

- Side-Note: This means Dorian DID get Orym's last message before they went to the moon! He just didn't/couldn't answer! Which means, through the static and everything, Dorian COULD hear Orym! And now he's probably gonna get this message once the battle is over... Jesus, if they get to Zephra and Keyleth went to the Lodge next to the lake that's gonna be a problem...

- Side-Note Side-Note: Anyone else hoping to GOD that Allura called the Nein to help? Cause Beau and Caleb were involved, but now it feels like an "All Hands on Deck" situation, and we could use Kingsley's small army of pirates right about now...

- So much happened this episode between the grieving and the flashbacks and the rolling for handjobs that I didn't have time to process the splinter cell of Xhorhasians that split their soul in twain until I woke up... Opal may have forgotten, but maybe Ted hasn't? Though if they're the same person, maybe they both forgot...

- Aabria, the corrupting of the Memories was FOUL, I LOVE IT!!!

- Somebody needs to tell Essek about the soul-splitters. In fact, let's get to that while we deal with Ashton too!

- IF OPAL DIES, AMY CAN COME OVER AS DENI$E! Like, I don't WANT her to die, but Westruun isn't that far... 👀

- I just realized this is the first ever FULL episode of CR without Sam at the table... Fuck, man, when it hurts it hurts. Glad Marisha brought back the fan.

"Forgot the Consonants?" "No Letters." OUCH, MISS RAY, WHAT THE FUCK?!

- Raven Queen Paladins hasting themselves first thing in the fight. Vax is back, and he's a Bunny Girl now!

- I like that the Crownkeepers are a two-way Overwatch reunion (McCree Cassidy and Symmetra) and a three-way Persona 5 reunion (Yusuke, Ann Futaba and Akechi).

- Everything was so fucked this episode that everything with Liliana got knocked to the background for me, THAT'S how good it was!

- The SECOND Evoroa said Ludinos was on Exandria I knew EXACTLY where he would be! Now we HAVE to get the Nein involved, right? Unless the bastard makes the city float again...

I cannot WAIT for the next episode! And if Sam brings a new character when all the groups are together, it would be SPECTACULAR! I'm guessing he's going to play one of the moon races, because that just sounds cool... Either that or Tary!

As for how they all met;

Devil meets Henchman when they're really young. Henchman is basically 'assigned' to him by stickler, but their friendship is instant and they're immediately inseparable. Henchman is the first person to treat Devil kindly and is his first real friend.

Dice, however, is added to their trio when they truly start trying to do the work of the Devil. Stickler tells them that they aren't getting enough contracts signed and they needed to work harder at their approach.

As the two are trying to come up with new ways to convince people to give in to temptations and sign contracts they spot Dice Kingsley. The charming little street rat who earns money by singing on street corners and could sell even the most worthless of items for a pretty penny thanks to his silver tongue.

Devil and Henchman immediately pull him aside and propose that he works with them, promising they can get him into showbusiness like he wants if he works with them. Dice agrees and Devil fixes him up so he's presentable and their friendship begins.

Beau's "Debilitating barage" combined with Caleb's fire spells, oh my god. Combo moves with vulnerabilities provoked by a PC and another attacking just after are SO HOT. Caduceus did this a lot with Path of the Grave, and now Beau can do this too !

OOOoooooh they really were so close to have that crystal. I felt like watching sports game, where everyone was close to mark but alas !!

I want to read Veth's Camp Guide. I hope someday CR will do this merch, just for me.

Fjord, what the fuck are you doing, my guy ? I love it, with a 7 swisdom, of course he would propose an alliance to a Betrayer god that hates Uk'atoa and the Prime deity that protects him. Marisha, speaking the truth : "Come on ! Third god in that body !!"

It's hilarious that Kingsley proposes himself for the pact. Veth, concerned : "Shouldn't he have one lifetime where he's not connected to a dark power that is corrupting him slowly until he dies and is reborn again ?"

Jester contacting the Plank King, and revealing that - of course ! - she uses Sending very frequently to contact and bother friends and foes. I love it so much. This moment reminded me of the post that said, basically : in a post-Apogee Solstice world where many spells don't work, the biggest tragedy must be Jester Lavorre without Sending.

Elder kettle adopted vessel and Kingsley (king dice) when they were around 11-12. He met rosé when she was just a kid, she came over a lot cause she and vessel were awfully close.

He and rosé get along very well! They bond over radio shows and music. After vessel went missing, she had to get a better job in the city, so she left the boys with elder kettle. She comes to visit once or twice a month, she really wishes she could stay longer.

SATURDAY HEADCANON DAY #1

Peter Hancox

Peter sometimes listens to what he jokingly calls "Male Manipulator Music", and his favourite song from this is the sweater song.

He considers his hobby "taping squirrels to the Devil."

When meeting Ross, he jokingly asked if his last name was Federman, and then followed up by asking if he was a drummer.

This is morbid, but he is the only Inkwell Isles resident to survive the electric chair.

I actually based him kinda on Hawaii Part II :3

He gets upset when Hotel California starts playing, as God made that song to mock him while he was stuck in the actual hotel.

He joked with King Dice once that he didn't want kids, because if he named his kids like his sister did, they'd be bullied too hard.

His original character was gonna be like some onceler capitalist AU of Peter Kennedy from DSAF. Still named after him, but they're not the same.

He jokes with the staff that his canon event was back in Hawaii 1979.

He gets weary on March 15th.

He has a cat with a double ear set. It's name is Puddles.

King Dice

He sometimes flirts with customers to charm their souls out of them.

Dice's name is actually Kingsley Kingston Edmund Dice. Do with this what you will.

He sometimes mixes Ross up with Jake Racer when his back is turned.

Dice actually considers himself the 2nd best person on Earth, and considers #1 to be Cab Calloway.

He sometimes goes to use Peter's head for calls, but then gets shocked.

He was actually the Devil's 1st worker.

He was found with a gun aimed at a few people.

He jokes that he hates Wonderwall. Peter side eyes him on this.

Cuphead headcannons with sketches

Soooo I thought I´d make a few headcannons, cuphead headcannons, there will be multiple posts like this because I´ve been working on my au for 2 years now aaaand well, thats a bit too much for just one post

First up; Death

This is death, or otherwise known as the red boi from the dlc.

Life and death have a significant(lord idk if thats written right) impact on the main characters of my au, Death is actually pretty nice, his touch can, if he wants to, kill you, but only if he wants to, no one knows where he and his companion came from, not even god himself. Death is defenently the more chill one in the couple, The devil is pretty good friends with both of them so is the gatekeeper(explained in a minute)

Then we have the other person in the couple; Life

Life might seem, like he would always be nice and an absolute cinnamon-roll...NO. He is the personification of work-stress, he has anger-issues and is just simply so so tired of his job, it´s nice to create life but he might wanna take one soon if people keep bugging him. His only relief? His boyfriend, Death. Yes they´re dating leave me alone!

Now for king dice,

King dice is tired of everything, working as a casino manager with a moody cat as boss and unwilling staff is pretty frustrating as you might guess. His full name is kingsley dice decker, he hates his family for alot of reasons that I can´t give away just yet >:).

He is in a relationship with moody cat boss though, and enjoys it. He doesn´t only date a cat but also has one as a pet

Cuphead Labyrinth au

So this au I have been dying to do for a while now. Timeline wise it happens years after the events of the movie. Everyone but specific people are humanized and they have different names if human. Cuphead is genderbent too for this one.

Cinder hummed as she cleaned up her childhood home. It hurt being back when her grandfather wasn't there anymore. Her twin brother was making arrangements involving his will. They knew he left them the house and everything in it.

Cinder and Martin knew that because their grandfather told them all the time and the very last time they talked before he passed. Currently Cinder was cleaning out the attic when a book fell out of a box. She picked it up and read the cover.

"Labyrinth. Haven't seen this book since..." She said trailing off as she thought about that night all those years ago.

A simple story time gone wrong and her unintentionally wishing away the baby she was watching. Soon a dark skinned, emerald green eyed, fancy dress man came into her head.

"No don't think of him Cinder. That's a bad thing to do." She said to herself.

Last thing she wanted was to give him power over her. She was able to avoid thinking of him for this long and she'll continue to do so. Putting the book back in the box, Cinder pushed it to the side.

Deciding to take a break Cinder headed down to the living room. Once there she sat down and closed her eyes. However the young woman ended up falling asleep. After several hours Cinder woke to the grandfather clock chiming midnight.

She groaned not meaning to fall asleep. Cinder was about to leave the living room when she heard tiny footsteps and wing flaps. She blinked confused and stood up to look for what caused that.

Cinder had only taken a few steps before she heard a voice behind her.

"So you're the little girl who beat the labyrinth and outsmarted it's king."

Slowly turning around Cinder saw a male a few inches taller than her in red and black, horns on his head, a tail twitching behind him and a pitchfork in hand.

"I don't know what you mean." She said.

"Don't bother trying to lie. I can see right through it. Now then you are coming with me." He said.

"I'm not going anywhere with you." Cinder said backing up before she tripped over something and hit her head, falling unconscious.

The male smirked and walked over to her but a sword was suddenly at his neck. He turned to see a certain ruler of the labyrinth.

"Hello to you too Dice." He said.

Kingsley Dice, King of the fae and ruler of the labyrinth, glared at him.

"Lucifer. Care to explain why you are here." Kingsley said with narrowed eyes.

"I just came to see the girl who beat the labyrinth and take her to my realm. For years I have been trying to find a weakness you have and now I have. It just so happens a human girl." Lucifer said grinning.

Kingsley sneered before he attacked.

"Keep your claws off her you devil." He growled.

"Someone's territorial." Lucifer said grinning.

Kingsley glared as he attacked with his sword but Lucifer countered with his pitchfork. He grinned before Kingsley used magic to push him back.

"Stay away from Cinder. " Kingsley said.

"We'll see about that. Let's see if you can protect her." Lucifer said before he used his pitchfork to leave.

Kingsley sneered before sheathing his sword and turned to the unconscious girl on the ground. He then bent down and brushed Cinder's hair away from her face.

"You've grown up and become such a beauty. This was not how I wanted to bring you back to my realm." He said.

Kingsley then carefully picked Cinder up and smiled when she moved closer. He then used his magic to take them to his castle where she would be safe.

I’m in the process of writing a fic about King Dice’s early life, and it had me thinking about names.

In the Cuphead Show, he monologues how “they called me King” and says to Cuphead and Mugman “no one’s called me that in a while” so clearly his name isn’t actually King, and that it’s more of a stage name.

For my fic I’ve called him Jasper Kingsley Dice.

I want to hear your headcannon names for King Dice; I’ve seen a few and the most common I’ve seen is Kingsley. I’m curious!

kingsley's smile extends in a dramatized arch of his spine. a hand patting his now distended belly, as his laughter comes straight from it.

"well now, ain't that a pip, doll? -- ya know, some say the same thing about your humble king dice, here."

he playfully bats at her arm, his features still dramatically scrunched in jest. "but don't ya' worry -- i think our relationship'll be nothin' but eggs n' coffee." running smoothly, he means. "long as ya' don't go bumpin' gums at the boss, that is."
