During today’s Livestream, Warner Bros. Japan unveiled the newest opening to Part Six of Hirohiko Araki’s Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure titled “Stone Ocean”. Performing the opening theme will be Ichigo from Kishida Kyoudan & The Akeboshi Rockets, the song called ” STONE OCEAN”, which the single will be available on December 1st.

Le Bizzarre Avventure di JoJo: Stone Ocean, svelata in anteprima la sigla dell’anime in arrivo su Netflix

Nella serie, Enrico Pucci avrà la voce di Tomokazu Seki.

Durante una diretta streaming trasmessa sul canale YouTube di Warner Bros. Japan dedicato agli anime, è stata mostrata in anteprima la sigla di testa de “LE BIZZARRE AVVENTURE DI JOJO: STONE OCEAN”, la nuova, attesissima, serie animata basata sulla sesta parte della celebre saga generazionale ideata dalla geniale mente di Hirohiko Araki, il cui popolarissimo manga è edito in Italia da Star Comics.

Per l’occasione, la sequenza di apertura è stata realizzata dallo studio KAMIKAZE DOUGA (Batman Ninja, Sound & Fury) e ha in sottofondo il brano dal titolo “STONE OCEAN", ad opera della rock band Kishida Kyoudan & The Akeboshi Rockets (Alderamin on the Sky, Highschool of the Dead).

Durante la live è anche stato svelato che sarà Tomokazu Seki (Gilgamesh in Fate/Stay Night) ad interpretare Enrico Pucci, l’antagonista principale della serie.

L’anime verrà distribuito globalmente in streaming on demand da Netflix, che ne caricherà i primi 12 episodi il 1 dicembre.

Inizialmente il Media Center ufficiale della piattaforma riportava una distribuzione mensile, ma ora quella dicitura è sparita.

La sesta serie si apre con un’ambientazione insolita: in una struttura penitenziaria della Florida viene scoperto un diario, scritto da Dio Brando, contenente le istruzioni per un potere così spropositato da accelerare il tempo e creare mondi paralleli! E questa volta il protagonista, della storia, detenuto proprio in quel carcere, sarà… una donna!

Per quanto riguarda lo staff, il progetto torna ad essere animato dallo studio DAVID PRODUCTION (Cells At Work! Lavori in Corpo, Fire Force) e a supervisionarlo troviamo Kenichi Suzuki (Battle Tendency, Phantom Blood, Stardust Crusaders).

Alla regia c’è Toshiyuki Kato (Captain Tsubasa, Così parlò Rohan Kishibe) e la sceneggiatura è di nuovo nelle mani di Yasuko Kobayashi (L’Attacco dei Giganti, Kakegurui), sceneggiatrice storica della serie animata, mentre il character design stavolta è curato da Masanori Shino (Black Lagoon, No Guns Life). 

Il design degli Stand è invece ad opera di Shunichi Ishimoto (Così parlò Rohan Kishibe). Le musiche per la colonna sonora sono nuovamente composte da Yugo Kanno (Psycho Pass, Golden Wind, Batman Ninja).

L’opera del maestro Araki, iniziata a fine anni ‘80 e tuttora in corso, ha già visto adattati i primi due capitoli della saga “Phatom Blood” e “Battle Tendency” in una prima stagione di 26 episodi, andata in onda fra il 2012 e il 2013. La parte di “Stardust Crusaders” è stata racchiusa in una serie di 48 episodi, trasmessi fra il 2014 e il 2015, mentre “Diamond is Unbreakable” è arrivata l’anno seguente, venendo raccontata nell’arco di 39 episodi. La quinta parte, chiamata “Golden Wind” (o Vento Aureo), è stata adattata sempre in 39 episodi, andati in onda fra il 2018 e il 2019.

Tutte le stagioni sono state prodotte sempre dallo studio di animazione DAVID PRODUCTION, lo stesso che ha realizzato anche gli OVA incentrati sullo spin-off dal titolo “Così parlò Rohan Kishibe” (Kishibe Rohan wa Ugokanai o Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan).

Le avventure della famiglia Joestar sono distribuite nel nostro paese in streaming su varie piattaforme: su Crunchyroll sono disponibili tutte e cinque le stagioni, su VVVVID è possibile trovare la prima, la quarta e la quinta, mentre su Netflix sono presenti solo la prima e la seconda, oltre agli OVA.
