Handyman!Anakin Skywalker drabble
CW: MDNI!! shameless porn with no plot, cheating, unprotected sex, p in v, etc…
A/N: Just wanted to try something out..as always feedback is appreciated:)
☆…━━━━━·:*☆…━━━━━·:*☆…━━━━━ ☆…━━
It really was meant to be innocent when you hired a handyman to repair your leaky kitchen faucet. But you weren’t expecting such beautiful man. That’s why instead you’re bent over your counter being split open from behind, his thick cock pistoning into your poor neglected hole.
“Your husband’s a stupid man..having this pussy all to himself..not doing a damn thing about it..” He grits out through thrusts, “she’s got such a tight grip, Jesus..” A calloused hand comes up to smack your right ass cheek.
Your face is pressed firmly against the cool marble, a steady stream of drool dribbling out of the corner of your mouth and pooling, pathetic moans fall from your lips. “..f-feels..so..good-d..”
He grins, reaching down and tangling his fingers into your hair, yanking your head up so your back is pressed firmly to his chest. “Tell me I fuck you better than him,” He growls into your ear, “tell me he can’t fuck you like I can.” The movement of his hips falter a little as his words cause your walls to squeeze tighter around his dick, eliciting a low, drawn out ‘fuck’ from him.
“So..so much better..” you babble, your face heating up at how cock drunk you are for a man you’ve known for maybe an hour.
“Good girl,” He purrs, proud of himself, before releasing your hair and pressing your face back down against the countertop. The hand that had been in your hair snakes around you so he can toy with your clit.
The rough pad of his middle finger circles around the bundle of nerves, pushing you closer and closer to orgasm. “C’mon baby…need you to cum on my cock.”
Your knuckles turn white from the strong grip on the edge of the counter, feeling yourself teetering right on the precipice of pure pleasure. With another snap of his hips and swipe of your clit, you’re sent spiraling. His movements slow as your tightened walls make it harder for him to move, hissing out in pleasure. Your moans are like music to his ears.
He pulls out, rapidly pumping his length that’s coated in your release a few times before his hot cum spurts out onto your bare back. Anakin falls forward, letting his head rest on your sweaty skin, admiring his paint job with a devilish grin. He presses a kiss to your back before straightening up and tucking himself away. Carelessly he grabs one of your kitchen rags and wipes your back clean.
You keep your face pressed against the cool tile as you catch your bearings. The sound of him gathering and packing his tools away, catching your attention. You straighten up and pull your soaked panties up, smoothing your clothes out, eyebrows pinched together. “Where are you going?” Your eyes flick over to the faucet that’s still leaking. “You didn’t fix it.”
He shrugs, a smirk on his face, “Guess that just means you’ll have to give me another call. There’s a couple other things I wouldn’t mind taking another look at either.” He shoots you a wink before picking his tool bag up and heading out your front door, leaving you with the feeling of finally knowing what satisfaction feels like.

i’m icky gross sick (also happy new year) so bare me a second but like kita really strikes me as such a handyman/diy kind of guy.
so i’m utterly gutted at the idea of enemies to lovers!kita noticing that your dining table it a bit uneven so it wobbles every now and then and he keeps bitching about it.
“if it bothers you so much, fix it,” you said in passing and kita took it to heart. the next day, your table is sturdy but then kita realizes that your bathroom door squeaks a bit too much and the water pressure on your kitchen sink isn’t that great and the drawer on your bedroom dresser has been broken for months.
kita hates you, he hates you more than anything but the thought of you ignoring these issues that could be fixed with the simplest repairs eats away at him. his grandmother taught him to be a gentleman and if she knew about this, she’d kill him for not helping.
next thing you know, kita’s at your house all the time. he’s checking your locks, making sure your windows are secure, and replacing the batteries in your smoke detector. “when i said ‘fix it’ i didn’t mean the whole house.”
kita, in the middle of fixing a leaky faucet glances over at you and says. “it’s not my fault ya let it get this bad.”
you’d rather die than admit that you actually kind of appreciate him help fix your shitty house. “while you’re at it, the light in the fridge won’t turn on.” you grumble before heading out of the room.
kita rolls his eyes and gets back to work, thankful that he doesn’t have to admit that likes being wanted.

Falling for the handyman a Luke Alvez Smut
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Smut ages 18+
Inspired by a Adam Rodriguez movie that I watched over the weekend where he was a handyman. This story takes place during the time after Season 15 ended and season 16 when Luke wasn't working at the BAU. Because the BAU wasn't happening at the time.
So Luke took up a job as a handyman, and him and a lonely woman who needs some things fixed around her house end up falling in love. I hope that you enjoy it. I don't really write too much for Luke Alvez. But I am quite a fan of his now, so I decided to dabble in a little bit of writing for him.
There's also a little bit of my life that I added to there. This story also contains quite a bit of drama and a mean dad, a fictional mean boyfriend.
Trigger warning!. This story contains A brief part with a abusive ex-boyfriend.
I will leave a * When that part comes. And another one when that part is over.
There will be a mention of him after the.* But nothing much
Y/n Was in some serious need of home repairs when her best friend told her about her handyman Luke Alvez.
"I don't need a handyman. I just need a few things fixed around here, like the leaky Kitchen faucet. The leaking shower head. The hot water heater is not hot enough. My bathroom door keeps getting stuck so I just kick it open."
" Oh yeah, that sounds like a great solution. Yeah, you definitely don't need a handyman. It's only a few little minor problems around your apartment. Come on. I'm telling you, you are going to love this guy. Possibly love this guy, OK? He's very good with his hands, if you know what I mean. And other parts of his body. Hmm. You sure you don't want to give him a try?" she asked.
"No, because I know exactly what you're thinking. You're thinking that I'm going to meet him and fall in love and all my problems are going to be over. No, that is not how it happens. I'm not a Lifetime movie, OK? I'm not the kind of girl that's going to fall in love with the handy man or the pool boy or the man that Builds the Gazebo. And where the hell is so many women Need gazebos anyway?" you ask.
"The gazebo is just a concrete item. The real story is how the gazebo builder rebuilds the lonely woman's heart and they end up falling in love with each other. And then he rescued her from her loneliness."  That's what it's really about. It's never really about the gazebo."
" Yeah, too sappy for me. Just take and send the guy over here. Let him fix the stuff up. That way you'll stop bugging me."
" I'll tell him about you. I guarantee you, you will not be sorry, she said. Sing Songy.
"I certainly hope that I'm not, because I really don't want to be dealing with this kind of crap anymore, OK? Honestly, I just want to just live my life as best as I can, just be done with it."
Two days later, there was a knock at Your door.
You shuffled over to your front door, not really wanting to deal with anyone. You signed before finally unlocking it and opening to see the man standing on the other side. You open the door with a gasp as you saw Luke Alvez holding a little toolbox wearing denim pants. A white T-shirt and a light blue Plaid shirt over it. The Plaid shirt was unbuttoned.
"I'm Luke Alvez. I'm here to fix a few things for you. I think I was told that it's a leaky kitchen faucet. Something about a shower head, a hot water heater, a door that you like to kick. I'd like to take care of all of that for you and anything else that you may need help with".
You could not believe what you were seeing.
What was your friend thinking, sending this man over to your house? I mean, honestly, look at him, his tone muscles. His short black hair, chiseled features and plump lips that are just begging for you to kiss them.
"Ma'am?" He said, looking at you before licking his lips and looking around your apartment to see where you might be having the problems.
"Yeah, sure. Come on in. I'm sorry. I don't mean to just stand here blocking the door."
"If you show me to your kitchen I will gladly fix the problem. Something about leaky pipes. I'm really good with my hands".
Oh my God, this man was trying to kill you.
"Uh, yeah, yeah. The kitchen is this way". You told him, running your hands through your hair to try to make yourself look a little bit more presentable. You didn't know that the handyman was really going to be hunky, hunkalicious. You walked through your living room wearing your Sweatshirt and sweatpants.
"It's right through here" you said, pointing to the kitchen.
Luke could already hear the dripping that was coming from the faucet. "Ohh yes I hear it. I can take care of that no problem". Within 3 minutes the dripping had stopped.
The dripping from the faucet. Anyway, fame couldn't be said from the dripping that was happening in your underwear at this moment.
"OK, and I heard something about a leaky shower head. I'll gladly take care of that for you too" he told you with a smile.
"Thank you. OK, so you have everything that you need, all your tools and whatever, because I don't have any tools around here, so".
"Oh yes, I have everything that I need here. Thank you."
"OK". You said to him before scurrying into the next room and grabbing your phone to call up your friend who sent Luke over here. You called her and as soon as she answered the phone.
"What the hell were you thinking sending this man to me? You know, I'm just going to end up falling right into bed with him. You're just going to make me into a Lifetime movie. That's all you're going to do. You and your romance novels. I don't wanna fall into bed with the handyman. And you send me quite possibly one of the sexiest handyman that there's ever been. Ever. What is wrong with you? Do you like him? You did this to me on purpose, didn't you? Have you ever had him?"  You kept rambling into the phone.
"Oh, I wish, but no." you're friend told you. "but i have heard about how good he is from an old girlfriend.
As you're talking to your friend, Luke comes up behind you and asks
"Can you tell me where your bathroom is? I'm going to fix your. Shower head."
" Oh, yes, it's, it's right down the hall there. Hey. Just follow the sound of the dripping, just like you did in the kitchen, I guess" you said with a nervous chuckle.
"OK, I'll do that" he said, walking down the hallway carrying his toolbox.
"I mean, my God, girl, Seriously, what were you thinking? You know what's going to happen with me?"
" I know exactly what's going to happen with you. At least I know exactly what I hope happens with you. You deserve a better guy than the one that you have. You need to know that there's better men out there than the one that you have, and better men than your dad."
"I know that people tell me that, but so far there's been little to no proof of that on my end." you told her with a sigh.
Just then you heard Luke speak from behind you.
"I fixed up your shower head for right now, but I'm going to get you a new one. I just wrapped some tape around the connection where the shower head screws into the Water pipe. But I'm going to pick you up a new one in the morning, since when I tried it out to see if the tape was holding, I noticed that you weren't getting much water from the shower head so it was either a water pressure issue, which didn't seem to be the case. And. The water was coming out good from your kitchen faucet so a clogged shower head. That seems to be the more likely thing, so I'm going to get you a new one. I can get it back for you in the morning. Unless you need it tonight, then I can gladly bring it back for you tonight." he told you licking those sexy lips of his.
"Ohh, no morning's fine. I I can deal with the bad water pressure. For one more night, I suppose."  You told him with a chuckle.
"OK. Do you have a preference of what kind you'd like?"
" Not really what you think. Fine with me".
" OK. So I'll see you in the morning 9:00 would be ok?"
" Yes, I'll be here"
"ok then tomorrow at 9:00, bye."
"The man is buying me a new shower head. What are you doing to me?"
"that it's such a bad thing. I mean, maybe you really need a new one. He is a handyman. He's just doing his job." you're friend told you.
When morning came, you've already had on your cute little outfit that you frantically Searched through your closet for. When your friend called, to see if Luke had showed up yet. You answered the phone, panting after running around looking for the perfect outfit.
"Well, why are you panting?" She asked with a chuckle. "Did I interrupt something?"
" The only thing you interrupted was me looking for the perfect outfit"
"Looking for the perfect outfit, huh? Huh. OK, so where did we go with?"
" Oh, you know, just some. Now in pink shorts and. The green top."
" Pink shorts? Are they Your hot pink shorts that say juicy on the back?'
" Maybe. I mean, I don't know. Maybe those are the ones that I found".
"Yeah, sure. They're the ones that you found. Is it by any chance going With that lime green tank top of yours?"
 "Maybe".
" My God, you're breaking out your shorts that say stuff on them. You're breaking out the shorts that have words across your Ass. Really. You want him looking at your Ass?"
" Well, I mean, I don't see why not. I've been looking at his. He's walking around my apartment. Cute firm, tight little. Butt. Fits so snugly in those tight pants that he walks around here in."
"Mhhm you like him! i knew it"
"I don't have time to talk to you about this right now. I am busy and Luke's going to be here any minute. I have to make some coffee, so goodbye." When the doorbell rang, you found yourself very excited about it.
He was here. Luke was here. "You have officially become the girl that you hate" you told yourself, before running to the door to open it.
"Hi, good morning. Come on in." you said welcoming him.
"Thank you. I got you a very good shower head. I think you're going to be very happy with it. It's removable from the wall mount. That way you can spray yourself off if you need to, like after a bubble bath maybe to remove the excess soap."
"Oh wow, thank you. Yes, that would come in very handy for removing excess soap, wouldn't it?" You said with a shy giggle.
"I made some coffee. If you tell me how you like it, I can make you a cup."
"Oh, thank you very much, but I had some with my breakfast before I went to the hardware store this morning. Maybe next time though."
He put in the shower head and did a few more things that were on your list of things to do. You begin finding yourself looking for things around your apartment for him to fix just so that he could be around. After about a month of projects, little things here and there. He really seemed like he was interested in your life.
"You know, all the little things that I've been doing around here for you would be easy things for your boyfriend to do for you. You know, if he was willing to help you out, maybe. You know, instead of having to keep paying me, I'll gladly keep coming back and fixing anything that you'd like. But I feel bad that you have to keep paying for something that you know. A man could just take care of for you"
" No, no, no boyfriend. There was one, but. He wasn't very good at fixing things, or a good man at all, really. So no, he's out of the picture for good".
"He is bad news, isn't he? I've seen this a lot. You know, there's a lot of bad men in this world. But I'm not one of them." He told you before putting his hand on your shoulder and patting it.
After Luke left a few minutes later, there was a knock at your door. You thought that Luke had forgotten something and came back for it. you walked to the door and opened it.
***********************************************************************************************
"What did you forget?"  But you weren't met with Luke. You were met with the face of someone that you never wanted to see again, Your ex-boyfriend, Paul. Grabbing your arm and demanding an answer of who the man was that just left your apartment.
"He is the handyman. I had to get someone to fix stuff around here. It's not like you were ever any good at anything. All you did was break things, including me. You tried to break me, but I showed you that I was stronger than what you thought I was".
he Grabbed your arm out of anger. And shoved you to the side before going into the bedroom and retrieving some of the items he had left behind. Calling you names from the bedroom as he threw things into a plastic bag that he wanted to take with him. before left the apartment with a slam of the door.
***********************************************************************************************
The next day, Luke returned to your home.
"Hey, I just stopped by to see how everything was going. You haven't had any new projects for me have you?"
he can See that you had been crying. Still shaking from what had happened two days Earlier, and the bruise still clearly visible on your arm, just below where your sleeve stopped. You pulled the sleeve down a little, hoping to hide. The bruise. But it didn't work. Luke had already seen it.
"What happened to your arm?" He asked you, lifting the sleeve up a little bit. And he was probably pushing his boundaries. But his FBI instincts have taken over, not to mention the instincts of just being a good man in general.
"Did someone do this to you?" He asked, holding your arm in his hand gently.
"Uh, yeah, it's it's nothing. It was my. It was my ex. He saw you leaving and wanted to know who you were. He didn't accept my answer that you were the handyman, so he got angry".
" This man, he's no good. I know that I'm a handyman now. But my job used to be. As an FBI agent, the Behavioral Analysis Unit. I was an FBI agent. I put away the bad guys. I don't want the bad guys to win. Before that, I was a bounty hunter. So I'm all about stopping the bad guys. You tell me who he is, I'll find him. He'll never touch you again".
" You were an FBI agent?".
" Yeah, I was. Like I said, I stopped the bad guys. I'm not one of them, I promise you".
"He told me that he loved me. I don't think men are capable of love. is That a wrong way to feel?"
"No, it's not a wrong way to feel if you've never experienced love"
"Not from a Man, and no my dad was mean to me. Then Paul. I just wanted to be loved, you know? My dad always put me down, called me stupid and useless. Ugly. Paul did the same thing, so maybe it's true". you said with tears streaming down your face.
"No, it's not true. That's not love. Love is. Being there for somebody, no matter what, through thick and thin. Love is holding someone in your arms when they're sad, not being the one that makes them sad. Love isn't wanting to stay in bed all day Because you don't have anything to get up for. Love is being too tired from the night before To even want to get out of bed in the morning, it's not wanting to leave the person that's in bed with you because you love them so much and the thought of being away from them is too much for you to bear. That's love. Not what this man did to you not what your dad did to you." he Told you, wiping the tears away from your face.
"Have you ever been too tired for before to want to go to work or get out of bed?" you asked him.
"A few times, yes. Not very much though I. Always picked the wrong woman. Just want somebody to pay for their stuff, not really love me back so. Not really, you know. There's always the fantasy, though, of having someone to love you, but. I agree with you. It's not always sunshine and rainbows, you know. But if I was your man. I would never hurt you. If I was your man, you would be loved so completely. You wouldn't know what to do."
"What would you do?" You asked him.
"Well. I would kiss your lips like this". He told you before putting his hand on your cheek gently and kissing you with those beautiful lips that you've been wanting since the first time you saw him.
"Then I would kiss your neck like this". He told you kissing your neck gently.
"Then I would pick you up You'd wrap your legs around me". He told you as he picked you up and wrapped your legs around his waist.
"Then I would Carry you to your bedroom". He told you as he walked to your bedroom.
"I would lay you on the bed gently". He told you doing it.
"Then I would slowly remove your shirt before. Kissing you gently all the way down. Your chest and your beautiful little tummy. Before making it to exactly where you want me to be."
Everything he described is exactly what he was doing to you. You couldn't believe that this was happening. A man finally loves you. You actually felt safe with Luke for some reason.
He removed your little pajama shorts since you were still wearing your pajamas, not expecting anyone to come over today. In doing so, he exposed your pink underwear with a little bow in the middle.
"So pretty and with the little bow. Did you wear these for me? Did you think this would happen today?"
"No" you said with a shudder. Not an unhappy shutter. A very excited one. So excited about what might happen next.
"Well, I'm glad it is happening" he told you. Before putting his thumbs on each side of your underwear Waistband.
"Would you like if I removed these?" He asked you.
"Yes, please. Please remove them, Luke."
"Ok Baby, anything you want."
He told you before slowly removing them Off of you and throwing them behind his head.
"So beautiful" he told you before pulling away. And removing the shirt that he had on Over a white tank top.
When the shirt was removed and he was standing there in front of you wearing the tank top, that's when you could see how rippled his arms were. The muscles so sexy. And then you saw it. The gold chain that was around his neck. Oh my God, this man was going to kill you and you would gladly let him.
"Would you like me to remove the rest of my clothes?" He asked you.
You were practically drooling at the sight of him already.
"Yes, please. I want to see you, all of you."
Once he was fully undressed, he picked you back up off the bed, bridal style. So that he could peel the covers down and slide you both underneath them.
"So, would you like to know what else I'd want to do to you?"
"Yes".
"Well, I would go under the covers and lick you like a lollipop".
"Please Luke, please do it".
He did. Before long, you could hear him asking. "Would you like me to add my fingers?"
"Yes" you moaned out.
And he did. He had you coming in no time.
Then he came out from under the covers with the biggest grin on his face.
"I bet your ex never made you feel that good did he?"
He asked, knowing good and well, he never did.
"Are you ready to have me inside of you now?"
You moaned out a pitiful yes.
"OK, then you shall have me"
He pushed inside with no hesitation. Your body gladly welcomed him, just the way you had warmly welcomed him into your home.
He started out with slow thrusts, looking into your eyes. You swear you saw sparkles in those beautiful brown eyes, He felt unlike anything you've ever experienced in your life.
The slow movements, the kisses, the way that you could feel his hands running up and down your arms up and down your thighs. For he wrapped her legs around his waist. And pushing inside of you at a new angle. Moaned his name more Times. Then you could count because you were thinking about counting. Right now, all you were thinking about was the way that Luke felt inside of you. But Luke loved it. He loved hearing you moan. His name is something that he could listen to for the rest of his life.
After you orgasmed for the 5th time. Luke pulled out and laid next to you.
"Are you OK, baby? I wasn't too much, was it?"
"I'm fine. I'm perfect. I'm great. I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life."
"Good. I'm glad I could make you happy".
He told you before pulling you close to him and wrapping his arms around you.
"Would you like to have this for the rest of your life? To feel loved and safe.?" He asked you.
"Yes, I would".
I would do it too you know? I will give you anything you wanted. All you had to do was ask. Sometimes you wouldn't even need to ask. I would just know what you need. That's the way of a Latin lover, you know. When their girl is sad, we know exactly what to do."
"And this right here" he said, brushing his fingertip up and down the bruise that your ex-boyfriend had left on your arm. "I would never do this, Never ever do anything like this to you. You would never have bruises from me. Unless, of course, you're a kinky little one and you'd like to have bruises from me." He said with a chuckle.
"I would let you do anything you wanted to me Luke".
"Remember when I told you that love means being too tired from the night before to want to leave bed? Well, you would be too tired because I would Make Love to you each and every night. And I will wake you up every morning with my head between your legs. Because you asked me this morning how do I like my coffee? I like it with cream. I think I'd like you to even more with your cream."
Your life was forever changed. Even though being Luke Alvez is girl. Meant stressful days and nights for you soon enough. When he had to give up his job as a handyman to go back to the FBI. But he always made sure that he was there as much as he could be for his beautiful girl. And always made it up to you for the time he had to be away. And true to his word, you were too tired to get out of bed in the morning. You couldn't believe what happened to you. You had truly fallen in love with the handyman.
Thank you so much for reading. I hope that You enjoyed my Luke Alvez as a handyman story.
Please leave comments, I would love to know what you thought about my story and if you would like For me to write more about Luke Alvez.

Whumptober day 19
rated: t | wc: 1113 | prompt: Floral Bouquet | Psychological | “I’m not as stupid as you think I am.” Steve gets sick of the kids constantly insulting his intelligence
The words were starting to really drain Steve. It was making him want to pull away, to isolate himself. To avoid the people he thought cared about him.
The thing is, he knew he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed. He'd never claimed to be a genius, to have anything on Dustin, or Robin, or Nancy when it came to intelligence, especially book smarts. His grades were never great, he passed and kept his grades at a level that allowed him to keep his place on the sports teams, but anything above a C on a report card was almost unheard of in any class other than PE. Then the whole college issue was a whole other beast, but he felt he should be allowed some grace there considering he'd been recovering from a severe concussion through the back half of his senior year. It took two weeks for him to return to school, and then was only attending for half days until winter break started.
But he wasn't stupid either. He'd managed to graduate on time despite the concussion in the last few months, only failing one class in the four years he was in high school, that being freshman Spanish. His memory when it came to something that interested him was second to none, able to recall baseball and basketball facts and statistics in an instant. He was good in the kitchen, able to remember recipes, and come up with new ones on the fly, always knowing what would work together, even being able to recreate recipes from something he'd eaten. His experience in first aid could probably rival that of an EMR, maybe even that of an EMT. He'd even taught himself how to fix things, he could do most of the repairs in the house that didn't involve electrics, and rarely needed anyone else to look at his car.
But it wasn't anything the kids were interested in, so they considered him stupid. They would throw jabs at Steve's intelligence because he'd failed to get into college, but then turn around and fawn over how smart Eddie was, him getting held back twice not mattering because he read Tolkein and played DnD. All of them execpt Lucas calling him a dumb jock any time he referenced a sports statistic or used a sports metaphor. He was half convinced they only called him dumb about that because they were projecting over not fully understanding what he was talking about. They acted like cooking wasn't a real skill, that he didn't have to do anything other than shove something in the oven and then put it on the table once it was done. Sometimes the boys, especially Mike, acted like it was women's work to be cooking, and that it was somehow demeaning to their masculinity to see Steve so at home in the kitchen. Any of his other skills were just treated as a given, as if they were something that everyone knew, even though the majority of the party wouldn't know where to start with treating even the most minor of injuries, or how to fix a leaky faucet, or how to troubleshoot what was making that noise in a car. Hell, he didn't think some of them would be able to change a light bulb or a tire even with direct step-by-step instruction.
It all exploded one day, the kids talking over each other about something Steve couldn't quite follow. Between the speed they were talking, how their voices blended together into an indistinguishable mumble and the topic just being something DnD related that Steve really wasn't interested in, it made it impossible for him to understand what they were talking about.
Lucas asked Steve's opinion on something as Dustin and Mike were starting to get heated in their disagreement. Steve asked for clarification, as he'd lost track of what, exactly, they were arguing about.
"Come on, this is why we don't ask Steve anything important. You know he's too dumb to understand." Mike sneered.
"You guys know that I'm not as stupid as you seem to think I am, right?" Steve snapped, sick and tired of the way the kids would talk down to him, as if they perceived him as lesser.
"Sure you're not, Steve." Dustin replied, his tone condescending, as if he was speaking to a child much younger than him rather than a grown adult four years his senior.
"Just because I'm not some child prodigy genius doesn't make me stupid. I graduated on time with a head injury that made class really fucking difficult." Steve tried to keep his voice under control, but it was hard to keep his volume at a reasonable level.
"Anyone can graduate on time, it doesn't make them smart." Dustin said, still talking like he was explaining it to someone who had difficulty understanding anything.
"Munson didn't." Steve spat out. "And somehow you dipshits believe he's the smartest guy alive at times. He got held back twice, but apparently he's a genius because he plays that game you do."
"He's just smart in a different way."
"And I can't be?" Steve asked, his tone getting harsh. "Who figured out that the Russians were broadcasting their message from Starcourt? Or how about some stuff you guys don't understand? How do you put someone who's unconscious into the recovery position? How do you change the oil or a spark plug in a car? What is the correct way to prepare meat so there is no cross contamination?"
"Yeah, but none of that stuff is actually important." Mike replied.
"So you're telling me that DnD is more important than knowing how to take care of someone in a medical emergency? Or fixing a car? Or making sure you don't give someone food poisoning? I'm not stupid. But I know you guys will never see me as anything but stupid. As the dumb jock." Steve pinched at the bridge of his nose, trying to hold back his emotion. Not wanting to let it show how much it affected him.
"Steve, it's not like that. We didn't mean-" Dustin started, but Steve cut him off.
"No, it is like that. You genuinely think I'm stupid. Maybe I am. If I'm so stupid, I must be too dumb to be able to keep driving you everywhere, or to keep hosting your game whenever you want to use my house. But I guess you little geniuses are smart enough to figure that out." Steve turned and left the room. The kids could find their own way home, he was done letting them take advantage of his generosity when they wouldn't give him any respect.

Mastering the Art of Plumbing: Essential Tips and Tricks for Every Homeowner
Introduction: Plumbing is the circulatory system of your home, quietly working behind the scenes to keep everything flowing smoothly. From the moment you turn on the faucet to the flush of the toilet, plumbing plays a crucial role in our daily lives. However, when plumbing issues arise, they can quickly turn into a homeowner's worst nightmare. But fear not! With the right knowledge and a few handy tips, you can become a plumbing pro in no time.
Understanding Your Plumbing System: Before diving into fixing leaks or unclogging drains, it's essential to have a basic understanding of your home's plumbing system. Typically, plumbing consists of two subsystems: the water supply system and the drainage system. The water supply system brings fresh water into your home, while the drainage system removes wastewater.
Common Plumbing Issues and Solutions:
Leaky Faucets: A dripping faucet may seem like a minor annoyance, but it can waste a significant amount of water over time. Usually, a leaky faucet can be fixed by replacing a worn-out washer or O-ring. Remember to turn off the water supply before attempting any repairs.
Clogged Drains: Whether it's in the kitchen sink, bathroom shower, or toilet, clogged drains are a common plumbing problem. For minor clogs, a plunger or plumbing snake can often do the trick. Avoid using chemical drain cleaners as they can damage your pipes over time.
Running Toilet: A toilet that continues to run after flushing can waste gallons of water and inflate your water bill. In most cases, a running toilet is caused by a faulty flapper or fill valve. Replacing these components is relatively simple and can save you money in the long run.
Low Water Pressure: If your faucets are trickling instead of flowing, low water pressure may be the culprit. Potential causes include mineral buildup in the pipes, a faulty pressure regulator, or a partially closed shut-off valve. Checking these components and cleaning or replacing them as needed can help restore proper water pressure.
Frozen Pipes: During the winter months, exposed pipes are susceptible to freezing, which can lead to burst pipes and costly water damage. Insulating your pipes and keeping your home adequately heated can prevent this issue. If you suspect a frozen pipe, never use an open flame to thaw it—instead, use a hairdryer or heating pad.
DIY Plumbing Tips:
Invest in Quality Tools: A well-equipped toolbox is essential for any DIY plumber. Basic tools like wrenches, pliers, and pipe cutters will come in handy for most plumbing projects.
Know Your Shut-Off Valves: Familiarize yourself with the location of your home's main water shut-off valve, as well as individual shut-off valves for sinks, toilets, and appliances. Knowing how to turn off the water in an emergency can prevent water damage to your home.
Practice Preventative Maintenance: Regularly inspecting your plumbing system for leaks, corrosion, or other signs of damage can help catch potential issues before they escalate into major problems. Additionally, scheduling annual professional inspections can identify hidden issues early on.
Conclusion: While some plumbing tasks may require the expertise of a licensed plumber, many common issues can be resolved with a little DIY know-how. By understanding how your plumbing system works and learning some basic maintenance techniques, you can save time, money, and stress in the long run. So don't let plumbing problems dampen your spirits—empower yourself with knowledge and tackle them head-on!

AUGUST DWC DAY 6 - TRUTH
Tumblr media
Today was a rare day off for Rhys after his morning chores, which usually meant he could go spend some time helping out at the Stormwind orphanage where he grew up. Altruism was in his nature, and he wanted to ensure that the kids there now had a better life than he did. Both Mr. and  Mrs. Padley had seemed annoyed and worn out lately, having a farm to run and a toddler to raise was exhausting, even if they did have Rhys to help with both. So today he had volunteered to take her with him to give them a much needed break, but really it was more for him so he could spend some alone time with her.
With Lia perched atop his shoulders, they made their way through the cobbled streets of the city, stopping on occasion at the toy stores and sweet shops so he could spoil the little girl. On the farm Rhys had little need to spend his wages, so he had some gold to spare and would rarely use it on himself. These days it was more often than not used on his daughter, or given to those more in need. He knew how it felt to grow up with nothing, so being charitable was important to him.
Eventually they ended up at the orphanage, where he was immediately greeted by the elderly a matron; a woman that had been around since Rhys himself lived there. “Rhys, how lovely to — ohh! I didn’t know you had a daughter, what a lovely surprise! She’s beautiful, and a spitting image of you, what is her name?”
Aurelia ducked down and shyly hid her face against Rhys’s head with a giggle. Rhys couldn’t lie to the matron, but the truth was complicated and he didn’t want the matron to give him her stern face. It was best to keep the conversation away from details. “This is Aurelia. Aurelia say hello to Matron Maddison.” No words, but Lia did give a little wave from her high perch. “Is there anything I can do to help? Anything that needs to be fixed?”
The matron smiled at the little girl, “Well it’s lovely to meet you Aurelia. I’ve known your father ever since he was a baby, you know.” She returned her attention to Rhys, “Well if you are offering, we do have a leaky pipe in the kitchen, and a door that won’t shut properly.” She paused briefly, before continuing, “There may be an issue with the heater as well which should get looked at before the winter months arrive, and the faucet on one of the sinks doesn’t work.” She stopped herself, even though there was obviously more to list. While the orphanage was much better off now than when he lived there, it was an older building and in constant need of repair from so much use.
“I can do it, just give me a list.” He lifted Lia from his shoulders and set her down before removing from his backpack a bag full of sweets the two had picked out from the candy shop to pass over to the matron. “We picked these out for the kids. Maybe Lia can go play with the other children while I do some work?” Lia perked up at the mention of playing with other children, something she didn’t have much of a chance to do back on the farm.
“Of course, my dear. She’s welcome to come play here anytime, you know. Both of you are always welcome. Come on, let's get her settled and I’ll show you what all needs to be fixed.” She extended a hand towards Lia, which was immediately accepted by the little girl.
Rhys could feel his heart swell as he watched the two wander down the familiar hallway. He didn’t have the best memories from his time here, but this was certainly making up for it.

Moonlighting, Chapter 1
Summary In order to save money and move residences to escape harassment from an ex-boyfriend, S.T.A.R.S. officer Jill Valentine moonlights as a pianist at a restaurant. After showing up late to work from a rough night, she finds herself in hot water with her boss; the enigmatic Captain Albert Wesker. However, after an unexpected and fateful encounter at the restaurant, a spark ignites affection for each other and their growing attraction would soon be the answers to both their problems.
This chapter follows Jill in the story and what she has been dealing with in the recent weeks.

BANG BANG BANG!!
The chain lock on Jill’s front door rattled violently from the abrupt pounding. The officer jolted awake and instinctively grabbed her gun from the drawer of her nightstand, body rigid as she rose out of bed and ready to defend herself. Gun pointed directly at her front door with her finger resting against the trigger guard, she cautiously side stepped around the corner of her bed and released a deep and shaky breath through her nose, calming her rapid heartbeat.
It was the dead of the night. The studio apartment glowed a dark blue from the soft illumination of the moonlight through her window blinds. It was silent for a moment aside from the light hum of the refrigerator and water softly dripping from a leaky faucet Jill had been meaning to get repaired. The officer positioned herself next to a support post and waited. It was just wide enough to give herself some cover if the situation needed to come to that. Light from the building’s hallway was beaming through the bottom of the doorway, but two shadowy feet pacing side to side made the light look like it was dancing. Still, she waited.
“Open up, Jill! I know you have him!”
Jill’s shoulders and arms immediately dropped in frustration, but her mental guard was still up and her temper rose.
“Oh, for fuck’s sake!” she groaned in anger as she headed for the front door and slammed her gun on the kitchen table as she stomped by. She released the deadbolt lock in a quick fury but left the chain untouched.
The man on the other side planted his hand on the door and tried to force it open but the chain held firm, halting the short rattle. His sweaty and rugged face came close to the crack of the door. It looked like he hadn’t shaved in weeks and judging by his breath, he had been drinking. Jill flinched in disgust at the sharp reek of booze that greeted her.
“Where is he, huh?” the man growled through his teeth. His voice was hushed yet seething with hate. “I know you took him. Where is Ruger?”
“Fucking, what?” Jill quietly yelled in confusion. “I don’t have your dog, James. Now, leave me the hell alone!” Before she could slam the door in James’ face, he shoved his foot into the doorway.
“Ruger? Ruger?!” he yelled through the crack.
“Oh, my god! Will you get out of here before you wake everyone up?” Jill hissed at him. “I wouldn’t be surprised if he ran away ‘cause you’re such a fucking asshole.”
James slammed his fist against the door with a deep grunt, rattling the chains once again. He pointed a threatening finger at Jill. “Wait ‘til I tell your cop buddies about this. I’ll have you fired and your ass will be on the streets!”
Jill gritted her teeth to control her rising rage. Her lips and nose twitching in suppressed anger. But she placed her hand over her exhausted eyes and wiped down her face to ease the tension in her cheeks and jaw. Fed up and maintaining her composure, she replied, “James. It’s been over a month. You need to stop calling me. You need to stop showing up here in the middle of the night uninvited. You need to move on and leave me alone.”
Knowing this was leading nowhere, the rugged man huffed through his flaring nose, spun away from her in an exasperated grunt and walked down the hallway, only stumbling once or twice.
Jill didn’t even think twice to watch him to make sure he was completely out of sight. She was too tired to care. The door shut and she locked the dead bolt, releasing an exhausted breath of relief and grief. Her head dropped, resting her forehead against the door and holding back tears. She was only anticipating the next time her ex-boyfriend would show up again.
After a brief moment, Jill dragged her feet back toward her bed, lazily picking up her gun along the way. But she made a stop at her desk in the corner of the room. Her eyes glazed over a hanging cork board of notes and a messy stack of paperwork until they met a framed picture of a happily sitting golden retriever. She picked it up with a small smile on her face.
“I wish you were here, buddy,” she quietly said to herself. “You’d be better off without him, too.” She carefully placed the frame back down in the darkness then proceeded to unplug her telephone on her desk. A preemptive move against any unwanted calls in the night.
Jill sat back down on her bed. Thinking about Ruger only made her feel depressed and she couldn’t stand the pain of him being lost. As an elite S.T.A.R.S. officer, Jill hated making mistakes even if it was in her personal life. She thought she had found the right man suited for her and even thought about settling down with him, treating Ruger like he was a baby. And even inquired if Ruger was good with children. But that initial dating phase blinded her. Blinded by James’ inceptive charm and gentleman-like behavior. Until he became too comfortable and Jill noticed his drinking problem along with the anger and increasing verbal abuse. And thinking more about him only made her angry, too.
She dropped her gun back into the nightstand and slammed it closed so hard that her alarm clock tumbled off. Too drained to be bothered, Jill fell back onto the mattress and covered herself with a blanket as the sound of a battery quietly rolled across the hardwood floor.
Jill woke up in a grog. Her eyes were puffy but she was still able to notice the immense brightness of the sun shining through her blinds, assuming it was going to be another hot day.
Knock knock knock. “Jill? Are you in there?” A concerned and familiar voice called to her through the front door.
Suddenly, the officer’s heartbeat bolted to her throat and a rush of anxiety tingled her skull. She kicked off her sheets and scrambled to find the alarm clock on the nightstand. Only to find it on the floor with a missing battery. Her eyes darted toward the unplugged phone on her desk.
“Shit!” she scolded herself as she hurried to the front door in a stumble. She found her partner, Chris, in full uniform standing on the other side. He shook his head in disbelief.
“What the hell, Jill?” he asked incredulously. “You weren’t answering your phone. Did you sleep in again?”
Jill ran her hand through her disheveled hair as Chris bombarded her with more questions. “Just- Just give me a few minutes,” she interrupted and shut the door. She hastily readied herself, struggling to put on her boots as she hopped toward the bathroom. She carelessly splashed cold water on her face to wake herself up and reduce the puffiness in her eyes. Tightening her belt as she made her way back to the front door, she met up with Chris who had just glanced at his watch.
“Okay, let’s go,” she said.
“Your beret?” Chris reminded her.
Jill scoffed in annoyance, reached back into the doorway and grabbed her blue beret off a hanging hook. She and Chris quickly made their way down the hallway as she adjusted her beret, tucking in uncombed hair strands.
“The captain is so pissed right now,” Chris remarked, almost chuckling.
“Shut up, Chris.”
Inside Captain Albert Wesker’s office, Jill stood with a hanging head and clenched fists. She couldn’t find the courage to look at him. Her eyebrows twitched and furrowed as the captain’s words scalded her ears. His body language seemed undisturbed but she felt every stab of his icicle gaze shoot right through her.
“This is the third time this month, Valentine. And over an hour late,” he said with a rising tone.
Finally, she looked at him out of respect for her superior. Calmly seated, his hands were neatly folded on his desk but his mute expression and cold glare told otherwise. Chris was right. The captain was pissed. “Captain, I-” Jill began. “I have no excuse for my behavior. I’m sorry.” She felt pathetic as there was nothing else to say. Or at least nothing she wanted to reveal.
A sharp exhale escaped through Wesker’s nose as he turned his head slightly with a tight lip. The gears turning in his head as his well articulated voice began to lay out. “If I weren’t me, I would temporarily suspend you.” He paused and Jill anticipated his next words in a sweat. “But, because we are who we are and you are one of my best officers, I’m assigning you overtime this evening.”
Jill softly gasped in shock, but it wasn’t because of how easy the captain just let her off. “N-no no no. It can’t be tonight,” Jill blurted out. Then became in disbelief with herself as she inadvertently argued.
Wesker cocked his head. “Excuse me? You would proclaim something better?” The captain was not one to show much emotion but she could feel his temper just below the surface.
“I-I me-meant no disrespect, s-sir,” Jill stammered. She shut her eyes and paused, giving her a moment to breathe and collect her scrambled brain. When she was somewhat calm, she said, “I’ll come in tomorrow. A full shift. And I promise you’ll never have to see me in your office like this again.”
There was a deafening moment of silence as their eyes locked. Jill was internally praying and hoping Wesker would agree.
“You would rather work a full shift on a Saturday than a few hours tonight?” Wesker asked.
The officer stood firm at attention. “Yes, sir.”
Despite Jill’s current stature, Wesker noticed the pleading in her face. It called out to him unexpectedly and for some reason he answered it. A barely audible short grumble vibrated in his throat. “Fine. Now get to work.”
Unknowingly holding her breath, Jill exhaled at ease. “Yes, sir.” She turned away when-
“Wait.”
Jill turned back and saw the captain rise out of his chair. “Yes, sir?”
The captain walked past her and gently shut the door to his office. He stood before her with relaxed shoulders. His perpetual dagger-like gaze and chiseled face somehow softened as he looked down at her.
“Jill. Is everything okay?” he asked, concerned yet warmly. “Everything at home?”
It was strange to hear him address her by first name but oddly comforting. Jill barely knew the captain outside of work but she was touched by his simple inquiry. No one had even asked her that since the break-up, not even Chris. Perhaps it was her emotions getting the better of her as she felt her jaw tremble, stifling tears. She wanted to let everything out and just bury her face in the captain’s hard chest, but she held back.
“Everything is fine, Captain. Thank you,” she replied plainly.
Wesker noticed that subtle yearning in her again, but he opened the door and let her go.
Friday night in Raccoon City was always bustling. The evening air was cool and breezy, providing relief to a rough morning. Waiting patiently on the sidewalk, Jill gripped at her clutch purse as she ignored the citizens passing by, quickly stealing glances at her elegant dress.
The officer was now outfitted in a dark blue, chiffon lace evening gown. A sharp contrast from her daily blues. Her fair skin of one arm and shoulder were exposed to the elements while the other comfortably wrapped in a lace sleeve. The lace on the upper half of the dress were embellished with fine sequins that could be part of the city sky itself. The leg slit revealed shimmering heels at her feet. The overall column accentuated her natural curves and physique. Even the officer’s naturally straight hair was curled loosely at the ends. Jill’s entire getup almost made her seem unrecognizable in the most beautiful way possible.
A yellow taxi pulled up to her and she sat in the backseat, careful not to wrinkle her dress. She was heading north toward the finer part of town. Warming her hands together and stretching her fingers, she gazed up at the high rise apartment buildings touching the night sky. She could only dream of what they looked like inside for now.
Soon, Jill reached her destination. The taxi slowed to a stop in front of a valet and the door was immediately opened for her. She stepped out onto the shiny concrete as the valet slightly bowed and addressed her.
“Good evening and welcome back, Ms. Valentine,” the man politely greeted. He looked young and barely out of his teens. He accompanied her toward the doors of the restaurant.
“Thank you,” Jill replied back with a smile. “I’ll be sure to play extra loud so you and the boys can hear from outside.”
“I’d greatly appreciate that,” the young man chuckled. He opened the door for her and she stepped in.
Jill’s heels clicked on the dark marble floors as she made her way through the restaurant. She passed the wide bar and cocktail lounge near the entrance, waving kindly at the acquainted bartender. The small chitter chatter of the restaurant patrons slowly quieted as Jill walked through the dining area and toward the back, approaching a grand ebony piano. She sat down on the small bench before the ivory keys and a waiter promptly poured her a glass of water and set it on a small round table next to the piano.
Taking in a deep breath and releasing all her tension from the day, Jill fluidly flexed and extended every joint of her fingers then hovered them over the keys. All eyes were on her but her gaze was upon the chandelier and hanging curtains centered on the crepuscular ceiling. This was the only time of her recent weeks that she felt tranquil. Almost as if she had floated into space and was headed toward the stars herself.
Jill began to play.
During that first hour, a curved smile on the corner of her mouth never left her face. Her eyes occasionally closed as she softly played calming tunes from memory. Scattered claps softly vibrated the air after the breezy pieces. Seeing the crowd pleased brought much joy and warmth to Jill’s heart, nearly forgetting why she started this gig in the first place. As patrons began to leave throughout the night, the waiter brought large bills to Jill and placed them in a glass bowl on the small round table. The bowl gradually filled as the night went on.
The evening was coming to an end and it was time for Jill’s final piece. Her very own arrangement she had been forging for months. The room fell silent, knowing her performance was coming to a close soon. She took a sip of water and stretched her fingers one last time and began.
Slow upbeat tunes floated through the air louder than any of the previous songs. It was jazzy, jaunty yet dark with a fun mixture of low and high notes. The permanent smile she bore disappeared as her eyebrows furled in concentration. Her fingers danced across the ivory like a ballet. Her upper body motions were tense yet flowy, projecting all her passion for the song. The patrons were still and silent as they watched and listened on, disregarding their expensive meals and conversations going cold. Even the employees were at a standstill. Time had frozen just for Jill.
Then, she was done.
Every single person in the room applauded her. Elated, a wide smile appeared on her face as she stood and bowed in the limelight. Silently mouthing ‘thank you’ to the patrons. Their claps slowly died down and they returned to their own worlds and Jill to hers. The few hours she spent playing the piano now felt like a fleeting moment of bliss from a dream. A familiar sadness began to creep back as she gathered herself to leave for the night.
The bartender approached her with a tray and a single glass of white wine. “From the gentleman at the bar.”
Surprised and flattered, Jill gingerly picked up the wine glass. At first, her heart dropped as she expected her ex-boyfriend, but then she blushed as the bartender stepped aside. In the distance sitting at the bar, a tall blonde man dressed in a sleek black suit raised his wine glass to her with a smirk.
“Captain Wesker?”
