A Nile headcanon I remember talking about on Discord. Mostly for the funny headcanon.

It goes that Nile and Wales have beef with each other. When Niles was a guide for the Excalibur team to visit many places in Eygpt. Wales was pestering Nile to see the mummies for “research” ,but he actually wanted to take it for personal gain. Niles kept tellling Wales that he will never take him there. Which started an argument between the two. That caused a standstill for hours stopping the tour for the other team.

( i got this idea when i found out british took mummies and ate them or use them for paint.)

1. hikaru/madoka

it's lesbian hour, quick everyone, grab a woman and kiss her! this ship is so cute and i believe these two deserve a break from all the beyblading, world-saving, boys business and have a nice time together. maybe get some ice cream *wink wink*, hold hands, be silly with each other. they have earned it.

2. ryuga/hyoma

they have interacted in the show once and i have clung to that interaction ever since i was 14, i believe in these two. idk they're similar ig in that they're both clever and introverted and i think they both cling to the people they love with all their might and are very loyal once you have earned their trust. that's another thing. two characters who don't trust easily find trust in each other?? magnificent

3. julian/sophie/wales

you can throw klaus into this mix, i dont really care either way, this polyship works and it works well. it's about the devotion, that "i'd follow you to the ends of the earth" vibe that they have, the trust without ever questioning or second-guessing your partner or yourself, that us-against-everyone-else mentality.

4. tobio/ryutaro/tetsuya

tbh i dont remember what made me ship them, maybe it was the art, or pure vibes, i just think the thought of these three is funny as fuck. three dumbasses who are dumb together, they deserve each other. i never really thought about them in a deeper sense, i just feel like they should be together.

5. chris/jack

i was never planning to put cheeseshipping on here but it's so hard to think of ships i like that dont have kyoya in them, okay? cut me some slack. at least, i've written about cheeseshipping before which cannot be said for most of the other ships in this list. but there is something fun in their dynamic i think, that jock/beauty type ship that fits them imo

MFB Tattoo Headcanons

As I've mentioned before, Tsubasa has an eagle wing on his chest, a small bat on his wrist, and a tiny frog behind his ear. I reckon he'd also have a small teacup somewhere maybe some flowers. He just strikes me as a guy who's have a lot of small ones all over his body

Kyoya gets a big portrait of a lion roaring on his back. It takes three months to finish completely

Benkei has a cartoon cat eating a burger on his upper arm

Hikaru has her star sign on her wrist (Aquarius, obv) and maybe some flowers on her thigh. We love basic bitches

Yu draws on himself a lot and often tries to copy Tsubasa's tattoos. He'd probably get a bunch of cute/lowkey scary animal tattoos when he gets older

Ryo has a big phoenix on his back that intertwines with a lot of his burn scars

Blader DJ has a tramp stamp that no one has seen

Ryutaro would have traditional koi fish sleeves

Aguma would probably end up with a full body of tattoos. All of them have to have meaning to him in some way (a reaper fighting a lion, a map of the solar system, a crimson crown, etc.)

Da Xian has a traditional Chinese dragon going up his back and onto his chest

Mei Mei strikes me as a dolphin-on-the-ankle kind of gal

Nile has a manticore on his shoulder (bull horns, lion body, scorpion tail😉)

Team Dungeon all get marching tattoos of the number 1 on their wrists when they're older. Masamune almost chickens out, but he gets through it after King makes fun of him for it

^After which, Masamune and King challenge each other to get the most ridiculous tattoos they can think of, only to be stopped when Coach Steel intervenes

Klaus has a heart with the sword of Excalibur going through it on his shoulder

Jack tattoos himself at random. He doesn't even remember why/when he got most of them because he does them impulsively

Doji has a cactus on one of his cheeks (not facial)

Beyblade character design analysis: King (mfb)

Last time I went over Gwyn. Now for another white haired anime boy (but only sometimes), it’s King. Also I have to specify mfb King because Bakuten Shoot also had a white haired guy called King

King’s hair is blue. Why? I don’t know. It could be any color and the point wouldn’t change because he’d still go super saiyan. But it does go with his eyes and necklace, so it was probably chosen for purely aesthetic reasons

Speaking of his necklace, it’s there. Again, probably aesthetics considering the main unique part of his design is magic hair dye

King wears a red sleeveless shirt. He is the Legendary Blader of Mars. Mars is Red. The rest of the Mars symbolism is in his personality (this guy is just as obsessed with battling as Masamune). It also shows off his muscles. King is buff as hell in a more realistic sense. Whereas Klaus and Aguma are extremely exaggerated, King has a more attainable (and functional) physique, fitting for a warrior on the battlefield

He has a belt with a gold buckle. King is a blader and wants everybody to know that so they can battle him

King has prominent fingerless gloves. He wants everyone to know he’s a blader (and a strong one at that)

Using this picture for below the waist parts. He has tight shorts that remind me almost of the ones used by certain types of athletes. King is athletic

His shirt looks more like a coat at the bottom. This was likely done as a result of his ancestor’s design. Due to the setting of when Nemesis was first defeated, it’s period-accurate clothing (not really, but it’s one of those misconceptions that became pop culture). For King, he looks like this because it makes him look more similar to the original Blader of Mars

King wears sandals. Cringe. Like the bottom of the shirt, it was probably done to more closely resemble the Blader of Mars

Now for the white hair (ignore the eyes and necklace. They stay blue in the anime and this image was probably made before his anime design was fully finalized). Not only does this make him the spitting image of the Blader of Mars, it’s cool as hell to see King go super saiyan. King’s character is directed by the question “what would be cool as hell to see happen in the anime?” In-universe, this translates to “I wanna have cool battles with strong opponents.” For someone involved in the making of this show, that means super saiyan

Mayblade Day 3: Eyes

"Eyes are the windows to the soul" — after all, they can easily express and convey emotion. Interestingly, Metal Fight Beyblade plays a lot with this theme.

Numerous characters wear glasses, in particular the main masterminds in each season: Daidoji, Ziggurat, and even Pluto.

Daidoji's glasses often reflect light and act like a mask, a barrier between him and others. They serve as a way for him to hide his true nature, complementing his more civilized and polite persona. Proof of this is seen when he reveals his true power to Phoenix in their battle, he takes off his glasses.

Ziggurat wears orange-tinted glasses, which stand out as the only touch of color in his otherwise grey design. Coincidentally, this is the same color as his eyes (albeit a little lighter). His glasses serve a similar purpose to Daidoji’s, though more toned down. Ziggurat is less restrained than Daidoji; he hides less of his true nature, as seen when he explains his intentions to Ryuga or when he laughs like a madman on camera.

In Pluto's case, the goggles he wears are more like a mask, concealing both his eyes and much of his face. This gives him a more ominous appearance and fits with his role as the hidden force behind both the Dark Nebula and Hades Inc. When Nemesis is about to be completed, Pluto removes his glasses, he no longer needs to stay hidden. At this moment, we fully see not just his face but also the content of his heart, as he elaborates on his twisted philosophy.

Jack is also worth mentioning. His mask hides only one of his eyes, possibly symbolizing how he lost a part of himself through the Arrangement System. When he returns to normal, he discards the mask. It’s fitting, considering the tail feathers of peacocks look like they have eyes — which ties into the legend behind their creation. Symbolically, Jack seems to take the "soul" of his opponent to give his art life; Klaus’s catatonic state with blank black eyes supports this. In episode 93, Ryuga injures Ziggurat very close to his eye, and in that same episode, Befall becomes the "eye of the peacock."

Lastly, King Hades and Cycnus share similar eye designs, both lack pupils. This design choice helps emphasize their inhuman and villainous nature. Their eyes resemble Nemesis’s own: glowing red and pupil-less, appearing empty, but in a far more menacing and powerful way.

MFB really uses the eyes to signify which characters have lost their souls, are hiding their true nature, or lack humanity.

What I dislike about him: He probably is a silent sufferer then whole dark power thing was scary also he gets overconfident real quick which ultimately led to him being discovered in fusion
