Kinda tried replicating the Mario and Luigi Dream Team artstyle for this one lol-

For some totally not half-assed lore, out of the blue as the Mario Brothers explore the Dream World, they run into a confused cabbit. The Cabbit calls themself Klonoa, he does not know how he got here. When Dreambert checks on the cabbit they realize he is not from either the Dream World or the Real world. After some discussion they agree to let Klonoa tag along when he mentions that he's stopped nightmares in his previous adventures.

Bro literally wakes up inside a Dream World within a Dream World. They don't call Klonoa the Dream Traveller for nothing-

Original Wereform Klonoa for Monstrous Nightmares.

New redesigned Wereform Klonoa for Monstrous Nightmares Rewritten.

As you can tell, I redesigned my Wereform Klonoa for my AU Monstrous Nightmares, which is a rewrite of the unfinished webcomic Dream Traveler of Noctis Sol with a new plot and Sonic Unleashed twist. The story adds Dark Gaia minion inspired creatures called Nightmares, beings that are given power and forms through the Noctis Sol itself. They became Tenebrae Hue's minions after using the Noctis Sol to drain Lunatea of its powers. After absorbing some of the Noctis Sol's energy, Klonoa gains a Wereform that looks like the Nightmares.

The form has its advantages: enhanced strength and durability, a tail that can grab things, as well as having stretchy arms and ears that can turn into hands. Klonoa still retains his normal personality, but has to fight back the thoughts the Noctis Sol gives him since his mind is connected to it, as if he's turned into one of those creatures himself.

Oh dear God, I keep imagining that in @thunderzeraora's Klonoa: Dream Traveler of Noctis Sol x Sonic Unleashed AU, Klonoa: Monstrous Nightmares, Klonoa's eventually gonna be revealed as one half of Noctis Sol and both eventually fuse back together, and the first time this form appears is like this. Help.

So the current idea plaguing my mind, enabled by the VARIOUS machine translated pixiv fics I read, is this semi-crack headcanon idea (a headcanon ONLY in this specific idea and separate from my ACTUAL canon compliant headcanons) involving the Tandemaus/Maushold comparison my brain picks up on for Larry, Rika, and by extension, Poppy.

Where the crack idea here is Geeta dealing with the fact that Poppy feels like the odd one out at the Pokemon League, to the point of possible nepotism, BUT NOOO, this is what happens when you let toddlers out into the wild with a Pokemon, where they get access to coffee, like those NPC kids I would see just drinking from giant coffee cups and eating big ass sandwiches.

Poppy's just like that, and in this case, due to the crack idea, would you even blame her for BEING like that with Larry and Rika as her parents??? NO???? 

also the Tandemaus to Maushold joke here is that Geeta and Hassel basically got slam dunked with the, "oh right, we're expecting" from Rika out of the blue when she realizes that she'll HAVE to take that maternity leave eventually, and Larry just looking the other way when Rika gets asked, "what do you mean by WE"

(you look away for one moment, and BAM, your Maushold suddenly have a child or two - in this case, we got a Family of Three)

also just to clarify, Poppy calling Larry and Rika by their names here is the result of Poppy being in one of those baby carriers while their parents are at work.. Because imagine Larry with a baby Poppy in one of those carriers, while he's at work or eating (baby reaching out to shove rice from Larry’s riceballs into her mouth). Or Rika continuing her interviews while baby Poppy just STARES INTO YOUR FUCKING SOUL as she chews on a teething ring

preemptive F for Larry or Rika being Poppy's first word instead of Mama or Papa. Neither of them has really recovered because really??? Is this really their life?

Hassel cried on their behalf, and Geeta is somewhat amused - though she's still recovering over the fact that her coworkers are fucking and the only way she found out was because OOPSIES, guess who got rare 2% failure rate out of that 98% effectiveness?

(this is yet another joke about Tandemaus, because Everstones don't fucking work on them - they WILL become Maushold, and there's not a damn thing you can do about it)

coming to AO3 whenever I go full feral and get possessed by my urge to create content for stuff I am starved for

it will likely be a one shot and one of the RARE times I have EVER finished a fic (the other one was also a one shot between Persona 4′s Yukiko and Chie, because I love these two disaster girlfriends)

Anyways that’s all I have, and this blurb just exists, in case I ever do decide to become feral and write something different. :V

(side note: Elite Four and Champion as this weird found family also makes me happy)

Wanted to draw this after watching some Namco X Capcom gameplay where Jin Kazama helps Klonoa beat up some Moos.  I also still love rewatching that Namco X Capcom intro cutscene to this day.  Kind of wish Klonoa was in Project X Zone too.

What to do

Honestly I'm not really sure where to start here. I'm unsure if I should post a bunch of my older art from Twitter so that I have plenty of stuff to show, then release new art, fanfics or story stuff I do on both Twitter and Tumblr at the same time.

My girlfriend says she's gonna help me get started on making my blog, so maybe expect more from me soon.

The official cover for Monstrous Nightmares, now being rewritten! Some of the creatures you see on the cover are some of the Nightmares that will be encountered in the story. When a new foe by the name of Tenebrae Hue uses the power of the Noctis Sol to drain Lunatea of its lifeforce, causing Klonoa to turn into one of the creatures of the Noctis Sol known as the Nightmares, he, along with friends old and new, must race across Lunatea to restore the land before it's too late.

Monstrous Nightmares belongs to me(Thunderheart); Klonoa belongs to Bandai Namco.

Ghadius doesn't answer with much, just makes his order and gives his name

Goes off then to sit with his to go cup

Only to be swallowing a mouthful he chokes on it as he reads the word Daddyius

He goes back to the counter

And tells him he wants a refill in the same Cup but that he needs to check it to see if anythings wrong.

Klonoa finds ghadius's number and has that cartoon shit eating grin, looks over at Ghadius then back at the cup as he scrawls his own digits down and makes him that refil drink

Comes back and smiles

"This one's on me Daddyius."

"That's not how...oh..."

He blushes , nods and understands

"I see, then you'd better be a good boy or-"

"Sir you two are in public in my coffee shop , save it for after hours."

Huepow frowns and Ghadius is nearly dragged out by his assistant
