A Happy Holiday and a Merry Truce Day to you @inessen-kryo , my lovely gift receiver. I give thee Amethyst Ocean ice-cream-based fluff.
The void surrounded and melted around him swirling in gentle musings and quiet dreams. Ice cream. And suddenly the void was gone. Danny opened his eyes. Ice cream sounds really fucking good right now. His leg swung over the deep red couch and popcorn crunched beneath his feet. 
Tucker lay comatose on the scarlet rugand the oversized TV spun the little circle of another episode. Jotaro was running across the street now on the screen. Danny had watched this episode. Ice cream first. 
He stumbled towards the kitchen- or more accurately the mini food court in Sam's basement. The carpet was smooth tile floor now and the appliances nearly blinded him with their shining glow. He reached for the freezer door and froze. Beneath his hand the handle felt deceptively warm. Is it kind of rude to eat people's food without permission? Well. I mean Sam is rich. Yeah well just cause she has the ice (Danny smirked) doesn't mean she's not a person.
Fine. He released the handle and headed back to the couches. But ice cream. His stomach lightly gurgled.
"Let's see here… ice cream… ice cream.." He mulled aloud. Maybe he could go the store real fast? Nah. He was broke. Uhhhhh… Go home and grab some?? But why tho?? He could always make some. How???? I don't have any way to- he rubbed his neck. His hands were ice cold. Holy shit I'm dumb.
The air felt heavy around him and pushing his senses outwards he felt the teensiest bits of it. It was so much like himself and it was everywhere. He drew it close. 
 Sam hadn't meant to leave their little sleepover downstairs- especially not with Danny having fallen asleep on her arm. Which wasn't adorable at all. But unfortunately she had this thing called plants and physical health and while Tucker and Danny may not follow a set schedule Sam sure as heck would. So friends over or not when it was 5 O' clock Sam got up (an hour of sleep be damned), dragged her way over to the greenhouse (oh to be cursed a nightowl) and watered her godforsaken plants. And when that was done she dragged her way over to the basement gym and did her cardio and her stretches and her lifting. And only then, could she drag her way back to sleep.
Today, obviously, was no exception. Her lillies were watered and her flytrap fed. The dainty orchids sprinkled with ice and her roses trimmed. The mulch was shifted and the greenhouses temperature checked. Finally, with every bit of humidity controlled, and everything all as it should be, Sam was off to work out.
First came stretches which were easy and menial, but when you don't stretch? Holy shit that's when you're sore. And of course who could forget that good ol' cardio.This day (if that's what you call five in the fricken morning) was dedicated to technique. Specifically martial arts. Which was fine- great actually. Throughout the week as she lifted weights or ran all she had thought about was when for she could feel the satisfying thump of sand and the swooshes of each limb straining and trembling in perfect form for hours rather than just a 20 minute run through. 
The bag thunked beneath her quick fists. Her legs stepped forward and back, dancing and spinning on her toes. Knees bent and bouncing. Her stomach growled. Shit. I'm trying to gain muscles not lose weight. 
Her fists froze by the punching bag. She could feel her lungs panic for air. The legs beneath her felt just a bit too wobbly. Uhhhhh how do I fix this? Yes! Carbs. Protein. 
Sam pulled herself away from that mesmerizing bag and towards the door. With a drag of her hand it was dark again. The door swung out and gently thundered shut. Her bare feet padded lightly across the hallway and towards the little kitchen area. She opened the door and
oh. That's beautiful. 
All around her were glowing bits of green, hovering and dancing through the air like pollen caught in the light.. Ceiling, walls, and floor- every last appliance, every last furnishing- had sprinkling of dots upon them. The world was cast in irradiant green. And Danny- Danny was at the center of it all. 
The lights thickened near him, bathing him in heavenly lighting. Little specks of this glowing dust clung to his eyelashes and danced in his midnight hair like stars. His skin seemed to glow and maybe it really did. Oh and his eyes- blue sure, but shining so emerald, so bright. His dark brows furrowed together in concentration. Facing down towards- 
 Danny's eyes were assaulted by a blinding light on the light.
"What the fuck are you doing?!!" 
He looked up, his hair swirling a swirling halo "Oh hey Sam. Just making ice cream."
Sam looked down at the goop dripping from his cupped hands.
"Is that what you call that?" She said dryly. 
"Well… I mean it's not going perfectly to plan but-" His gaze snapped up. Sam's entire skin was dripping with sparkling beads. Her golden hued skin lining the curve of her lean arms. Her collarbone glimmering softly and her lips a soft pink without her usual dark gloss. Wait does Sam wear makeup??? Oh wait yeah, duh. Her arms flexed lightly. A little dot of green floated lazily across her face. Her eyes were a swirling galaxy of ectoplasm stars and a deep violet vortex. Her hair was tussled and he could hear her heavy breathe from here. She wasn't wearing her usual black band of a choker and her neck was tantalizing slender and just beneath her neck and smooth collarbones he could see the curve of-
"Why do you look like you came back from war?" 
"Deflection. Classic." Sam said, "but if you must know I was working out. You know, like people who wanna be strong."
Danny's eyes snapped to her crossed arms. Looks pretty strong to me. His cheeks felt warm against the cold of the air. Shit. Now I don't have time to unpack all that but-
"Um. Yeah. So ice cream." He turned back to the goop in his hands. Totally not just to avoid looking at the thin but definite curves of her strong body. Ice cream. Yes ice cream. He shoved some ectoenergy into his hands. Oops. Uhhh maybe ice??
Sam sat down at one of the counter bar-style stools. "You know you can just get ice cream out of the freezer, right?"
He could feel her gaze piercing him. It was hard to think of the light and airy feel of ice cream.
"Can't. I'm emotionally invested now." He lightly proclaimed.
"Whatever." She rested her smooth jaw on her hand. Her arm flexed again and she leaned forward slightly. Shit. 
Oh yeah I gotta- I'm making ice cream. It looked airier now. He shot out a burst of cold. 
"DANNY! What did you do?!" Her mouth was wide open with uproarious laughter and her entire body curled inwards. The ice cream had exploded everywhere. The cabinets were splattered and ceiling stained.
"Uhhh I-" Sam was still laughing. He felt his body shaking. "I made ice cream…"
She pounded her fist on the table. "Ice cream!" She howled. "Is that what you call that?"
Danny felt his face split open. He was laughing too now.
"Ye-ah." He dug out from his throat. "Ice cream."

WHAT IS CRYOPRESERVATION?
From the moment of fertilization onwards, life processes run by the rhythm of a biological clock. Cryopreservation is a section of a part of biology called cryobiology. Cryobiology is the branch of biology that studies the effects of low temperatures on living things within Earth's cryosphere or in science. The technology of cryopreservation gives us the possibility of interfering with the clockwork of stopping biological time. (Elder, K, and Brian, D. Cryopreservation In: In vitro fertilization.2nd edition. Cambridge University Press. P. 200).
In cryopreservation, all metabolic processes are arrested, the freezing of single cells is considered as Cryobiology, since only the physiochemical characteristics of one specific type of cell is taken in response to freezing. Cryopreservation or Cryoconservation is therefore an aspect of cryobiology which deals with the study of the effects of low temperature on living things. (Day et al., 2008; Hamilton et al., 2009).
It is based on the ability of certain small molecules to enter cells and prevent dehydration and formation of intracellular ice crystals, which can cause cell death and destruction of cell organelles during the freezing process. It is a process where cells, whole tissues, and or any other substance susceptible to damage caused by chemical reactivity or time are preserved by cooling to sub-zero temperatures, at this low temperatures, any enzymatic activity which might cause damage to the material is effectively stopped and in turn slows down the natural decaying process. (Halmagyi et al., 2004; Kaczmarczyk et al., 2011a; Panis et al., 2005). It is coined from the Greek word Kryos meaning Frost. It deals with the storage at very low temperatures such as storage over solid carbon dioxide (-79oC), in deep freezers (-80oC), in vapour phase nitrogen (-150oC) or in liquid nitrogen (-196oC).

Realme X dan Vivo V15 Pro Sama-sama Bawa Kamera Pop-up, Siapa Terkuat?
JawaPos.com – Realme di Indonesia kembali menunjukkan tajinya dengan membesut smartphone andalan terbaru. Dialah Realme X yang baru dihadirkan brand spin off Oppo itu ke market ponsel pintar tanah air. Kehadiran Realme X ini tentu menambah panjang daftar smartphone kekinian yang hadir dengan konsep kamera pop-up.
Di Indonesia, smartphone dengan konsep kamera pop-up ada banyak. Beberapa di antaranya adalah Oppo F11 Pro, Oppo Find X, Samsung Galaxy A80 terbaru dan yang paling dekat dengan realme X ada Vivo V15 Pro.
Bicara soal Vivo V15 Pro, perangkat tersebut sudah hadir ke pasaran Indonesia sejak Maret lalu. Nah, kali ini JawaPos.com akan melakukan perbandingan untuk perangkat Vivo V15 Pro versus Realme X. Berikut ulasannya.
Performa dan Dapur Pacu
Pertama, mengawali langkah yang paling krusial, JawaPos.com akan memulai dari urusan jeroan atau dapur pacu lengkap dengan performanya. Sebagai permulaan, kami akan memulai lebih dahulu dari Realme X sebagai perangkat yang paling anyar kemudian baru Vivo V15 Pro.
Dari sektor performa, Realme X membawa bekal prosesor bikinan Qualcomm yakni Snapdragon 710. Sebagai informasi, Snapdragon 710 sendiri diproduksi dalam fabrikasi 10 nm dan arsitektur delapan inti Kryo. Dengannya, Realme X dengan tajuk ‘Dare to Leap’ itu diklaim dapat mencapai kecepatan clock hingga 2,2 GHz. Performa prosesornya dipadupadankan dengan pengolah grafis GPU Adreno 616.
Mendukung keandalan perangkat, Realme X memiliki RAM 8 GB dan ROM 128 GB yang mengadopsi paket LPDDR4X + UFS2.1. Padanan chipset Snapdragon dengan fitur kecepatan generasi terbaru dengan RAM/ROM-nya yang besar seharusnya mampu membuat perangkat ‘berlari kencang’ namun tetap hemat daya.
Beralih ke produk selanjutnya yakni Vivo V15 Pro. Perangkat tersebut untuk sektor dapur pacu dibekali dengan prosesor Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 dengan fabrikasi 11 nm, kalah unggul dengan Realme X dengan Snapdragon 710 yang memiliki fabrikasi 10 nm. Arsitektur chipset-nya sama yakni delapan inti Kryo dengan clock speed maksimum 2,0 GHz. Performa prosesornya dipadukan dengan GPU Adreno 612. Di Indonesia, Vivo V15 Pro melenggang dengan pilihan RAM/ROM 6/128 GB.

Layar dan Desain
Aspek kedua yang ingin kami bandingkan antara Realme X dengan Vivo V15 Pro adalah layar dan desain. Dari segi layar, antara Realme X dan Vivo V15 Pro terdapat kesamaan. Keduanya sama-sama mengusung layar penuh lantaran mengusung konsep kamera selfie pop-up.
Realme X hadir dengan layar penuh berukuran 6,53 inci dengan rasio layar sebesar 85,9 persen yang menghasilkan tampilan lebar. Layar Realme X memiliki aspek rasio 19,5:9 dengan resolusi Full HD Plus (1080 x 2.340 piksel). Perlindungan Corning Gorilla Glass 5 juga sudah hadir menutup area layar Realme X.
Masih pada bagian layar, material layarnya sendiri adalah Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen 16 M colors. Secara garis besar, layar Realme X terbilang tajam dan terang, juga kemampuan menangkal sinar matahari yang baik dengan kerapatan piksel 394 ppi.
Beralih ke Vivo V15 Pro. Brand yang juga masih saudara dengan Oppo dan tentunya Realme itu hadir dengan bentang layar yang lebih kecil ketimbang Realme X. Ukuran layar ponsel yang bersangkutan adalah 6,39 inci, sedangkan Realme X 6,53 inci. Material layar Vivo V15 Pro adalah Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen 16M colors dengan resolusi Full DH Plus (1.080 x 2.316 piksel) dengan kerapatan piksel 404 ppi.
Bergeser ke bagian belakang, kedua perangkat yang kami bandingkan juga sama-sama hadir dengan desain kekinian nan berkilauan. Untuk urusan desain, kami lebih suka dengan desain Realme X ketimbang Vivo V15 Pro. Hal tersebut lantaran Vivo V15 Pro hadir dengan konsep tiga kamera utama yang menurut kami penempatannya tidak pas. Desain kamera belakangnya terlalu menyembul keluar yang membuat beberapa kasus area genggam menjadi kurang nyaman dan membuat desain tampak gemuk. Namun, hal tersebut tentu kembali ke selera konsumen.
Kamera
Faktor selanjutnya yang tidak kalah penting dalam pertimbangan konsumen saat ingin membeli smartphone baru adalah urusan fotografi atau kamera. Kedua smartphone yang kami bandingkan, Realme X dengan Vivo V15 Pro, terdapat perbedaan pada sektor kamera. Perbedaan paling mencolok adalah jumlah kamera utamanya.
Untuk menangkap momen apik bersama sahabat, teman atau keluarga, Realme X hadir dengan kamera utama ganda berukuran 48 MP (Sony IMX 586) + 5 MP dengan aperture masing-masing f/1.7 dan f/2.4 dengan dual piksel PDAF 0,8 mikron. Beralih ke kamera depan, Realme X menawarkan performa yang tak kalah mumpuni dengan motorized pop-up 16 MP dan aperture f/2.0.
Beralih ke Vivo V15 Pro. Handset ini menjagokan tiga buah kamera utama sekaligus di bagian belakang. Rinciannya, untuk kamera utama memiliki sensor 48 MP dengan aperture f/1.8. Sensor kedua ada kamera 8 MP dengan aperture f/2.2 ultra wide, dan terakhir adalah kamera kedalaman 5 MP f/2.4. Sementara pada bagian depan, Vivo V15 Pro juga memiliki kamera pop-up dengan 32 MP.
Membandingkan kamera kedua perangkat tersebut lagi-lagi sangat sulit bagi kami menentukan siapa yang terbaik. Keduanya sama-sama unggul dan menghasilkan foto yang baik dengan kemampuan kamera utama dan kamera selfie yang sama-sama kuat melihat spesifikasinya. Vivo V15 Pro hadir dengan tiga buah kamera utama, sedangkan Realme X dengan dua kamera utama. Karena itu, harga Vivo V15 lumayan tinggi dan sedikit segmented.
Jika ada uang lebih, tidak ada salahnya membeli Vivo V15 Pro untuk memiliki smartphone dengan tiga buah kamera utama. Namun jika kurang cukup, Realme X adalah pilihan terbaik mengingat spesifikasinya juga tak kalah mumpuni dari segi chipset, dapur pacu, dan desain.
Realme X pada sektor kamera juga unggul berkat fitur kecerdasan buatan atau artificial intelligence (AI) dengan nightscape dan chroma boost. Kedua fitur tersebut sudah pernah kami ulas sebelumnya dengan kemampuan membantu meningkatkan eksposur dalam pencahayaan redup yang ekstrem. Kombinasi teknologi AI dan teknologi mesin multibingkai pada Realme X dapat mengurangi noise, anti guncangan saat digenggam, highlight suppresion, dan peningkatan dynamic range.
Saat user memegang Realme X dan mengetuknya untuk mengambil gambar dalam mode kamera malam hari, sistem akan merekam gambar yang khas, cerah, dan berlapis dengan warna nyata dan lebih hidup. Kualitas gambar portrait dalam pemandangan malam lebih dioptimalkan dan guratan wajah yang tetap dijaga. Gambar portrait yang dihasilkan lebih cerah dan lebih alami dalam urusan warna kulit.

Baterai, Security, dan Harga
Perbandingan terakhir yang ingin JawaPos.com tilik lebih jauh adalah dari segi baterai, fitur keamanan (security), dan apalagi kalau bukan urusan kantong. Realme X dari sektor catu daya dibekali dengan baterai 3.765 mAh.
Realme X pada sektor baterai juga membawa teknologi AI freezer yang dapat membekukan aplikasi yang tidak digunakan untuk periode waktu tertentu. Aplikasi tersebut tidak dapat dipanggil atau diaktifkan oleh aplikasi lain. Ini adalah senjata paling ampuh dalam hal menghemat daya.
Realme X juga dilengkapi pengisian daya VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 terbaru. Sebagai informasi, VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 adalah solusi pengisian arus tinggi bertegangan rendah dengan daya pengisian 20W (5V4A). Fitur ini dapat menghidupkan kembali baterai yang sekarat dengan cepat dan waktu pengisian 23,8 persen lebih singkat dari solusi pengisian sebelumnya. Baterai 3.765 mAh diklaim dapat diisi hingga 55 persen dalam 30 menit.
Sementara untuk keamanannya, Realme X hadir dengan fitur yang terbilang komplet. Sebut saja fitur face unlock dan fitur keamanan biometrik seperti fingerprint scanner under display hadir pada perangkat ini. Sistem keamanan tersebut merupakan pelengkap dari yang sudah ada seperti nomor sandi dan pola.
Fitur face unlock-nya juga cepat dibandingkan dengan metode unlock lainnya. Begitu pun fingerprint-nya yang multifungsi ini dapat membuka Realme X dengan sangat cepat. Kami tidak tahu persisnya berapa detik. Sebab sangat cepat. Jari baru disentuhkan dan layar smartphone sudah menyala.
Fitur keamanan face unlock pada Realme X termasuk yang paling kami suka. Cepat dan akurat walaupun konsep kamera depannya adalah pop-up camera. Under display fingerprint-nya juga hadir dengan medan sentuh yang terbilang luas dan sensitif di keseluruhan areanya.
Oh iya, fitur-fitur keamanan tadi tak hanya bisa digunakan mengunci layar smartphone. Fitur keamanan itu juga bisa digunakan untuk mengunci aplikasi dan menjadi brankas pribadi untuk melindungi files yang ada di dalamya.
Dari segi harga, perangkat ini terbilang hadir dengan banderol yang kompetitif melihat segmen yang ditujunya dan lawan-lawannya di pasaran. Realme X di pasaran dilepas dengan harga mulai Rp 3,7 jutaan.
Terakhir untuk Vivo V15 Pro. Urusan daya baterai, Vivo V15 Pro hadir dengan baterai yang terbilang lebih kecil sedikit ketimbang Realme X. Ukuran daya baterai Vivo V15 Pro 3.700 mAh, sedangkan Realme X 3.765 mAh. Perbandingan di sektor baterai lainnya adalah Vivo V15 Pro masih menggunakan sistem pengisian daya cepat 18 W, sementara Realme X sudah 20 W dengan teknologi VOOC Flash Charge 3.0.
Aspek selanjutnya dari Vivo V15 Pro adalah keamanan. Dari aspek kemanan, handset hadir dengan sistem keamanan yang juga lengkap seperti Realme X. Untuk urusan keamanan ponsel, Vivo V15 Pro dibekali dengan pilihan keamanan standard seperti PIN dan pola. Sementara untuk fitur keamanan biometrik, perangkat ditambahkan dengan fitur face ID dan fingerprint yang terletak di balik layar.
Untuk fitur keamanan di Vivo V15 Pro kami juga suka mana kala menggunakan fitur face ID atau pengenalan wajah. Responsnya cepat walaupun tidak secepat realme X berdasarkan pengalaman kami. Hanya selisih beberapa mili second saja.
Fitur tersebut mampu bekerja sangat baik dengan deteksi wajah dari segala sisi yang akurat. Namun, mekanisme kamera pop-up pada Vivo V15 Pro sedikit lebih bising ketimbang Realme X. Bunyi motor penggerak slidernya tidak sesenyap Realme X. Sementara untuk urusan kantong, Vivo V15 Pro di Indonesia dilepas dengan harga Rp 5,6 jutaan untuk varian RAM/ROM 6/128 GB.
Ada beberapa poin perbandingan kedua produk di atas dari sektor baterai, security, dan harga. Realme X lebih unggul ketimbang Vivo V15 Pro dari sektor baterai. Realme X hadir dengan baterai lebih besar sedikit ketimbang Vivo V15 Pro.
Selanjutnya untuk fitur keamanan, keduanya sama-sama hadir dengan fitur mumpuni yang lengkap. Namun untuk harga, seperti sudah kami singgung di atas, Realme X tampil sebagai perangkat lebih murah dengan spesifikasi yang mirip dengan Vivo V15 Pro. Jadi mungkin bagi kamu yang tak sanggup membeli Vivo V15 Pro, Realme X bisa jadi opsi kedua dengan performa yang tak kalah hebat.
