the way the ericson group were at the outbreak just a bunch of troubled kids who made various mistakes or committed crimes and were judged by a system that punished and abandoned them instead of giving them the support and love they needed, are then nearly a decade later put into a situation where now they must judge a troubled child for the mistakes and crimes hes committed against them. and 5 to 3 vote them out 😭

For the totally uninitiated, I recommend Nature Has Taught Her Children to Hate- it’s a retelling overhaul so you’re reintroduced to these characters

SVSSS in particular has a lot of funny 1-2 ch scenario fics so I fully recommend checking that archive out for yourself and rifling around- those are just the ones I consider the best of the best. The Untamed has a tonnn of long-form dramas which aren’t my favorites, but clearly well done if you like those more.

And TGCF and TMA are kind of the odd children- high highs, low lows.

headcanon that all of hua cheng's statues are taller than the actual xie lian bc before they reunited, xie lian was always taller than hua cheng

#i know mxtx places a lot of emphasis on hc having always *known* who xl is at the core of himself #and also idk if wu ming was canonically taller than xl (can't remember lmao)#but just like. hua cheng's experiences with happened (for the most part) when he was younger than him #and therefore shorter #idk just like...#the mental image of hc crafting sculptures of his god for centuries #desperately trying to craft a perfect copy out of imperfect memory #only finally meet xl wearing wedding red #and realize that all along every single one of those statues was off by a simple discrepancy in height.#like i don't even mean to imply anything angsty there i just feel so many things #the bridegroom scene!? i know it gets glossed over a bit in contrast to everything else exciting that happens between them #but just like hua cheng's thoughts about everything during that.... #the needle is in purpleheart wood tee hee #i got a four inch one which as far as i can tell is longer than average #but i want to be able to get it against my palm to get some leverage i think #i dont want to fiddle around with a 2 inch - 2 1/2 inch needle i feel like w time that would just make my fingers cramp it feels Small #the mini loom is so fucking cute also it's literally tiny #8 inches long #w a little lap rest #they SAY it's not good for beginners to learn on bc it's so small #but i have a habit of picking up a new hobby and immediately jumping into something difficult #i started getting into fiber arts literally by making lace #i am just like this #i Will learn to weave on that tiny loom #so help me god #i love a challenge w my crafts
