I think you should tell me about your ocs

ooouuu okay okay i put my ocs in a random generator and the oc it picked was General Emily Mentie (so that i dont talk abt the same ones over and over XD)

shes quite an uptight sort of lady. i mean being the general of a military will do that ta you. obsessed with order and having everything be just so. she wasnt always like that though! a long long time ago she had someone in her life that reminded her ta let loose every once in awhile. someone who brought her so much joy day in and day out. someone who she thinks about daily now even though they've been gone for years.

she's been in a state of "hope" for years now. constantly chasing clues, coming up empty but never faltering never wavering. everyone around her keeps telling her ta, "move on" and "be more in the present" but she is in the present. and in the present she isnt here. things wont be complete until she is. someone like her could not have gone silently into the night like a whisper. she was too radiant. too bright ta be stamped out so young.

and yet she doesnt even know the half of it. she's chasing the ghosts of people who don't even exist anymore, and leaving the people who are still here in her wake.

Okay so a lil bit on Mika's love life.

It's shit. Girly pop couldn't find a good person to save her life. And it's mainly because she's so stubborn that once she sees good in you, it takes a LOT of bad for her to leave.

So let's start with the Highschool Sweetheart, Andrew. I mentioned this lore change before but Andrew was an ASSHOLE in highschool. He was a womanizing Casanova who was told throughout his childhood to date as many women as he could while young to "know who the good ones are" when he's older. And when he got to Mika, as much as they genuinely bonded over movies, games and astronomy, Andrew still Andrewed and tried to pressure Mika into doing things she didn't want to. Key word, tried. That's how he got dumped.

Then there were some miscellaneous people in college when Mika was 18-20. I'd say the true relationship came down to another asshole dude named Charlie that really only wanted something casual or a situationship but didn't say that, a genuinely nice dude named Demetre that she just wasn't compatible with and sort of realized later that he might be gay and a woman with an superiority/inferiority complex named Elizabeth who was kinda toxic because of a bad mix of insecure and being a recovering 'pick me' for men.

By the time she gets to the boys, she's well experienced in the love department if not a little jaded. In the lust/sexual department... nah, she's a virgin. She understands flirtatious and knows some warning signs and it helps her communicate better than she used to.

Also I am still thoroughly enjoying myself and it looks like I’m not going to bed after finishing the season because they leave you on such an AWFUL CLIF HANGER WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS.

Also also Steven is officially my favorite character with (still) Garnet and Stevonnie closely after. The mindfulness episode?? Um HELLO????? I actually rewatched it a good three times in a row because I loved it so freaking much. 

Also also also I want/need an episode of what Peridot, Lapis, and Pumpkin do on a day to day basis because there’s a sitcom hiding in that barn. 

Last thing I promise: the diamonds. Just. Omg. So big. Tall. So pretty????? I hope we see more of them. Season five is the last (?) season so I better get some answers/closure on all that stuff.
