It really makes me think how all of you guys really like and appreciate my art, and the fact that so many people encourage me to keep doing it, it brings me to tears! 🥹

Every one of you are the best thing in my life!! The first time I got Tumblr I started in:

And you’re telling me that this was in what- THE START OF MARCH?? (Or February I don’t remember-) But this is just the PINNACLE of how much I’ve changed in terms in art style and experience.

I bring this up because I think Tumblr is the REASON why I improved so much! I experimented with brushes (digitally) and I found my brushes!! I learned how to EXAGGERATE AND ACTUALLY DRAW CARTOONY LIKE I’VE WANTED TO FOR SO LONG!!

(And NEVER took an art class. That’s fucking what- 💀 I need to take one I actually need to at this point-)

Also also also- I’ve learned a lot of things! Anatomy, exaggerative expression, stretchy cartooniness, ALL OF THESE ARE JUST- I can’t believe I’ve learned all this because one day I decided: “Maybe I should ACTUALLY get a social media for my art? 🤔” AND I DID IT AND CHANGED MY LIFE‼️‼️‼️

the worst thing about analyzing a character who is objectively in the wrong and sucks morally is when they’re a popular character and people think that my pointing out the character’s flaws means i hate them. like no i love them!!

Tomura dying was him being saved. “not everyone can be saved”, “death is also a way to save someone” BOTH OF THESE WERE PROVED. In not just this chapter, but multiple. Like what the hell did you expect? Izuku to be like “you’re not evil🥺 you can be good🥺 join us, you can be a hero🥺” after he’s killed so many people and literally almost caused the end of the world?💀 this is NOT my little pony please 😭😭

The amount of people I have seen saying “deku didn’t save him, he’s not a hero” actually make me wanna rip out my brain because I wanna know what’s it like to be so fucking brainless. dirtbag jess is weird to me bc it came from a very satirical hatred of the mary sue characterization jess always got which did not mix well with the pies “rude weirdos from philadelphia (said with love)” vibe. so someone logged on and said “well what if she sucked.”

HOWEVER. it’s so important to me that jess… okay well first of all “…always wished that she could be good at something other than blaseball” is my favorite piece of jessica telephone characterization of all time. but she loved blaseball more than anything. she had to. it was all she had. in turn blaseball loved her. even meta-wise the game GAVE her the tools she needed to be best of the best. dial tone. yummy reaction. championship winning teams. etc

and then she gets shelled. which. okay. let’s talk about that. sensory deprivation for two months. BECAUSE she was good. because she was loved. just left to stew with her own thoughts (and the shelled ones influence) (but i hc that not coming up until her second shelling)

of COURSE she’d be bitter. of course she wouldn’t be able to keep up the same happy-go-lucky “i’m just happy to be here” paparazzi-friendly persona she had before. of course the in-universe baseball fans (who are established as antagonistic almost from the beginning) (who are the reason she got shelled) wouldn’t get that and would interpret it as her being a bitch for no reason.

and then BROTHER DIES????? FOUR DAYS LATER?????????? of COURSE she sucks now. wouldn’t you?
