Love

I love watching featherdragons nibble sunflower seeds, they’re always ridiculously careful about it even when the seed is tiny for them, too. Socks is maybe the size of a magpie but they still make sure to remove the shell before eating the actual seed. I doubt it’s very efficient, but it’s a lot of fun to watch. It’s also great with all sorts of nuts, because sometimes the shells are so stubborn that Socks and Key have to work really hard to crack them, but they really like nuts, so watching them crow in excitement over their victory is awesome!

Terrible

“Ava?”

“Ben?” I don’t even think about it, I run through the underbrush, duck between two trees, and then—

There he is.

Except he’s just lying there, on the ground, looking half-dead and terrible. His light curly hair is a long tangle of dirt and branches, and there’s blood encrusted in it, too.

“Ben?” I whisper, and I don’t know what I dread more, him moving or him not moving.

His eyes snap open and they’re burning like the sun.

Nature

”You see that?” they ask, pointing forward with their free hand.

I do.

Less than a hundred feet away, the monsters are swarming the path. The drop on both sides is still deadly, but now it looks less supernatural in nature and more like an actual mountain ridge.

”Are you ready?” Azrae asks quietly. I don’t even know how to respond to that.

Stars

”Then let us walk,” Mikaën says, lazily twirling his fingers. The glowing light suddenly explodes into a thousand tiny ones, flitting away in all directions, becoming a thousand tiny stars on the firmament above them. The darkness seems huge, now, not as cramped and confining as before.

It’s strangely beautiful to watch someone else build a dream.

HAHAHAHAHAHAA 10 cups?!?!! I salute you…I drink probably 6 or so? And yes!! I love how tea is very social over there! At my internship in London it was such a thing to go put the kettle on for tea and then just sit around and talk and I LOVED it

Lounge AU - Klance

Keith as a lounge singer at a bar. Lance is the bartender and in too deep holy shit.)

Hunk is the cook because some lounges do food. I dunno what Pidge does. Who knows. The tech stuff for stage? Probably.

Lance spends half his shift glaring at Keith up on the stage like, How dare he. How dare he he hot and talented, like... excuse you that’s rude. It’s distracting??? Keith I’m trying to work here go away.

Sometimes Keith does The Hip Swing as he sings though and Lance is w e a k.

Keith is, of course, frustrated at why Lance is always glaring like wow he does NOT suck that bad. Lance probably makes some cracks about his shitty taste in music. This only makes Keith sing more and more romantic songs out of spite or something because he thinks it annoys Lance.

But also part of him means the lyrics.

And Lance is in t o o   d e e p  someone save this dumb child.

Literally everyone sees what is happening but them. Everyone is a mix of amused/exasperated.

Shiro owns the place and just wants the UST to s t o p. But also Keith is probably his kid brother and that's how he got the job. Also Keith can sing because Reasons and he wants to help Keith out through college or something. Just reasons.

But yeah. On the one hand N O, Lance. No employee relationships and also no not Keith. But on the other hand, just kiss already I cannot take this and you're scaring the customers.

The amount of times he’s heard that in the last couple days is frankly appalling. Some part of him doesn’t even think it’s more than a foggy dream until he very distinctly feels somebody climbing all over him. He’s not a jungle gym, woman. 

Florence hums tiredly as the kisses start, moving a hand up to stroke her hair. What a sweetheart. “ Oh, honey, “ he murmurs, resting a hand on her leg and rubbing gently. is usually the first one to say sorry after a fight: oooh this is a toughie, because they’re both stubborn as hell. i want to say tony does it more often than her initially, but once he comes home from space she almost always tries to avoid fighting him. (look at that development.)

is the ‘ mom friend ‘: echo lmfao not even a question.

calls the other at 12 am to wish the other a happy birthday without fail: echo, but that doesn’t mean to say tony forgets hers. she’s just punctual.
