but the room suddenly is very loud.. and very full..

readers breath hitches, they can’t calm down, and they rush out to the bathrooms (or maybe outside idk)

wilbur sees them, starts to panic, and rushes through the show.

after the show, he searches for reader in a panic, finally finding them in a quiet corner of the building.

You loved attending Wilbur’s gigs, there was just one problem. The amount of people.

It wasn’t that the fans were rude or horrible, it was just the worst place for an anxious person to be! Being stuck in a crowd of screaming teenagers and young adults, the bright lights flashing over everyone, the loudness and the screaming— it was the literal concoction for a panic attack.

Which leads us to now; you standing off to the side, hands clutching the ends of your sleeves as you attempted to calm your nerves. You wanted to be there to support your boyfriend, but it was so difficult with so many people around you.

You didn’t hate the fans, they all adored you, but having some of them recognize you was scary. You didn’t expect your breathing to get so rapid, your palms to get sweaty, and your heart rate to race.

You were praying that one of the security guards would let you backstage, you had a pass after all. But you couldn’t get to them!

You didn’t even see Wilbur staring at you, causing him to tell everyone that they’d cut the last two songs so he could quickly get you out of there.

By the time Lovejoy was done, you found comfort in a corner near the bar, the bartender started conversation with you and got you a bottle of water. He was quick to make his way over to you, excusing himself from fans who were asking for pictures, politely explaining he needed to check out an emergency / important manner.

“Love, hey, you alright?” His arms found their way around you, pulling you close as he kissed the top of your head.

“Yeah, just got really nervous. The lights, noise, it was just— really overwhelming.” You sighed and leaned into his touch, thanking the lady who gave you the water before following Wilbur backstage.

He had pulled you into a private room, offering you some of the snacks that were back there, and let you sit on the tiny futon in the corner. “You know, you could have easily went backstage first.” He chuckled softly, wrapping an arm around you.

“I know.. but I wanted to see you preform from the crowd. It looked way cooler.” You smiled and looked up at him with a warm gaze, to which he matched before leaning down to softly kiss you.

The kiss lasted only a few moments, his forehead resting against yours.

“I love you, and I’m happy you showed up.” He spoke softly, his hand rubbing your side. “I love you too, and I’m glad I showed up as well.

it was raining a bunch right … and there was this lil nature reserve near my house . w a path you could walk up on a hill but also down by a river….. and it was raining sm that the whole thing was just FLOODED. you couldn’t see any of the rocks in the river…. or the grass you could walk on beside it…… so little ari decided to go down there anyway. for the sake of adventure. and i made it to the end of the path to a fence that you could jump over to get to The Normal Road Home .

BUT …. gasp ………. little ari came face to face w a bunch of cows . up on the hill. right by the fence. they were eating the grass and i was scared bc they were fucking HUGE mickey :((( i was shaking n shivering and trying to blend in w my surroundings……… carefully making my way towards the fence that they were kinda blocking.

BUT THEN …. another gasp….. suddenly i was face to face w this One cow/bull and it just stared at me. for a couple seconds. and then it ran right towards me and my childhood instincts kicked in …. so i like. ran down the hill and then back up so i could jump over the fence . and then i was ok :) but ever since that fateful day i’ve been scared of cows….. i can only admire them from afar 😔😔😔😔
