The Legendary Star-Kang

Here’s a redesign piece I thought I’d throw out based on the Contest of Champions game in honor of the (late) one-year anniversary of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

So for those of you who’ve played it, you’ll know there is a stage in the game progress (M.O.D.O.K., Mo’ Problems) where M.O.D.O.K. fuses characters and their powers together. I just did a quick redesign of the fusion character Star-Kang to look more like a fusion of the two characters, based off their MCU designs.

I know this is probably bad timing based on the recent Avengers 5 news, but I thought I would share this with all you guys still interested.

{☆} Like the others, Clea was still adjusting to the return of so many LOST souls. Of course she was THRILLED to have her husband home, to have Wanda and the others returned to their lives, and to see HUMANITY try to rebuild after the devastation Thanos wrought. 

The TRAUMA was still there, however. Nightmares continued to plague her, aches would curl around her brow as if to remind her of the FIVE years of severance between her and Stephen -- worst of all came the times where she awoke to feel herself SMOTHERED beneath the blankets in bed. The scars of battling Thanos on Wakanda. 

But she threw herself into WORK. Helping not only the Dark Dimension rebuild, but when she found herself on Earth, leading efforts to aid the HUMANS. Now, it seemed, she would aid other GALAXIES. 

Clea takes a long sip of her coffee, regarding Peter Quill with warm, albeit wary EYES. “I’m perfectly fine with accompanying you. Especially if you’re positive that the FORCE behind these attacks is my MOTHER. But you must understand, Peter-- She is of the FALTINE. A warlord. A being of raw magical force. She could KILL you.” Umar, it seemed, returned to life after the snap, was delighting in creating CHAOS once more. An act Clea attributed to revolting against the Dark Dimension’s new RULER.
