Chapter 1 – The ways of surviving | Daily Life part 3

The next morning, I had awakened up like normal as then I did my normal routine which then I got dressed as I then headed downstairs which then I saw Kobayashi-san and Chikao-san who look to be speaking but I notice that Kobayashi-san seem a bit worried.

“Hey… are you going to get that check out?” He asked as I walk downstairs and notice that Chikao-san’s hand look redder then usual like… I noticing blood which I jumped back.

“Oh god, what happen to you?! Did someone try to hurt you Chikao-san?” I question in a panic which he waved his hand.

It seems he was laughing off the pain a bit, but it looks like it hurt. “Oh don’t worry about me, I’ll head to the pharmacy to take care of this… I guess I should of watch where Kita-kun was carrying that rabbit he was carrying.” He stated which I tilted my head. “Huh? What do you mean?” I asked which Chikao-san seem embarrassed about explaining what happen.

“Sorry, it’s actually a rash I tend to get when I touch animal fur – It isn’t too serious but I would need some medicine which I’ll worry about later after Kobayashi-kun tells me about the lock.” Me and Kobayashi-san look at each other with concern but we decided to take his word for it.

“Well if you say so, yeah I just got the lock fix; it should be as good as new and we don’t have to worry about anyone breaking it or even a bear breaking in! It actually is a lock that you lock from the inside; so people from the outside won’t be able to get in no matter what.” He stated as proud of his work which I smiled a bit.

“Well at least were safe, now Hayashi-san and Kita-san can finally get some sleep, so thanks for your work Kobayashi-san.” I spoke which I saw Kobayashi-san smile a bit. “Hey, it’s no problem at all besides – if you need anymore work then come to me!” He stated which then Chikao-san nodded. “Right then, great to see you get along! Now excuse me while I take care of this rash.” Chikao-san stated as he rushes out of the lodge.

It seem as then Hamasaki-san walk over noticing Chikao-san leave. “Hey, where did Chief go?” She asked which I guess she seem a bit worried. “Oh don’t worry, it seem that it was some allergy that he had and he’ll be back.” Kobayashi-san told her which Hamasaki-san put her hand in the back on the head. “Okay if ya say so, anyway the others are in the dining room, I’ll tell them that Chief will be late.” She say as leaving for the dining room as Kobayashi-san went in after her.

As then I notice Abiko-san approach me. “Seems he might be friendlier with you from the looks of it.” He commented with a smile. “Yeah I guess after you spoke with him, he seem happier then normal; let’s hope it stays that way…” I stated as then Abiko-san nodded.

“Indeed, I think it would be for the best, anyway I guess I’ll go and wait for the update with Nakahara about the Satellite… even if I’m not use to electronics; I guess even I’ve grown curious of what’s going on out there especially regarding… actually, maybe it’s best to speak about this when everyone else is in the dining room.” He say as taking his leave.

I was left alone but I notice 4 people in the living room; Inoue-chan, Mori-san, Kita-san and Katou-san who look to be around which the first I approach is Inoue-chan who seem to be staring at the TV.

“So… Waiting for the TV to turn on?” I asked which then Inoue-chan sighed as she gets up. “Yeah, but that be boring as heck – why wait for something that’ll never come to me, right? Anyway, I will develop myself in a positive manner and avoid anything that my reduce my mental growth and physical health.” She stated which blinked. “Which means play outside?” “Yep!” She yelled as she rushes outside again.

Seems Inoue-chan is going to distract herself instead of waiting for the Wi-Fi to turn on, which I can say is pretty mature for the most part… which I can’t say for SOME of us but anyway.

I then walk over to Katou-san who seem… tired, like he just could fall asleep at any moment. “Whoa now, what’s going on here?” I asked which Katou-san look up at me then regain his upbeat personality that I’m use to. “Ah, Fujii-chan! It’s a great honor to meet you in the morning~!” He greeted me with a wave but then sigh. “Aaaah, Sunako-chan got me tired out from playing all day and now I want to sleep in all day so I’m planning to hibernate for a bit…” He stated which I blinked confused.

Which I guess Katou-san notice my reaction. “Huh? You don’t know… I tend to sometimes get tired out too so I plan to stay in my room all day so um… can you tell the others I won’t be out of my room later afternoon or tomorrow?” He asked which I thought it over and shrugged. “I mean – it’s not mandatory but I’ll tell them.” I stated which then Katou-san made a heart shape with his arms. “Thanky-Thanky! I can’t thank ya enough because really even morale characters need their break! Anyway, I’ll get breaky first then head to my room as preparing for my hibernation~!” he stated as he rushes over into the dining room, likely the kitchen if I had to guess.

As then I walk over to Kita-san who was looking out the window. “Morning, so I guess you got some sleep now?” I asked Kita-san which he gave a small nod. “I believe so – the lock got fix just last night and I was able to get some sleep but…” “But what?” I asked which he look to the ground on the side as crossing his arms. “I wish I could talk with Hayashi-san more; I mean… despite her imposing nature, she is strangely the one I’m most interested in terms of story plus I feel we understand each other a bit.” He stated as smiling a bit.

Seems like he wanted to learn about Hayashi-san from the sounds of it. “Well I’m sure you can talk more if you want to; I mean despite how aloof she can be – she is pretty nice so maybe try and speak with her.” I suggested which then Kita-san nodded. “I… might for that but first I got to think of what to speak about with her.” He say as taking his leave.

As then the last person to approach was Mori-san who seem to be thinking about things. “Hey, what are you thinking about?” I asked which Mori-san notice me which she laughed. “Ohohohhhh, why I’m thinking of many things my dear, Fuji-san!” She laughed but then spoke as if she came up with something. “Well I figure that waiting for that darn satellite to get work on – I think might do something a bit more to my liking; like skating! I mean it doesn’t need to be competitive but something to do so we are bored out of our minds.” She stated but then she crosses her arms and thought as closing her eyes.

“But sadly, none of the skates here are good and I’m not sure you be TOO interested in going skating with me, but I think it be fun.” She suggested which then I remember the skates I got. “Actually, I have a pair of skates I just have with me, maybe I can use those?” I suggested which cause Mori-san who held her hands together.

“You will?! Ah yes yes darling! What I love to hear so now I don’t have to be bored skating alone! I-I mean…” Mori-san then shifted as placing one hand on her chest as placing another in the air like as if she came up with a great idea. “Of course, I came up with the idea. My ideas are genius after all~! Anyway, do come after breakfast then.” She say as leaving for the dining room.

Seems I got stuff plan with Mori-san after breakfast, which then I decided to walk inside however I notice Katou-san rushing by me with bags full of food which I walk in and aside from our mascot classmate, it seems Chikao-san and Inoue-chan are not in the room which Hamlon-san notice.

“Hey, where are those 2?” “Chikao-san mention he’s going to take care of somethings, don’t worry he’ll be back and Inoue-chan is playing outside like usual.” I answered Hanlon-san’s question which Ueda-san walk over as placing dishes down which Abiko-san then spoke. “Well, we can wait for these 2 – since me and Kobayashi-san have been wondering about something since last night…” He stated which Kobayashi-san look at him and nodded.

“Oh yeah, that…” He spoke as then Chikao-san and Inoue-chan walk in which it seems they arrive in time. “You really need to stop wandering around, y’know.” He stated as Inoue-chan cross her arms, annoyed. “Hmph, but it gets boring but fiiine!” She whined as she walk over her chair and notice something.

“Hey, where did Kuma-chan go?” She ask which then Chikao-san look around as well which Ueda-san spoke. “Doi-kun mention that he won’t be joining us for beakfast.” He stated which cause the young politician blinked. “Really? Any reason at all?” He asked which Ueda-san stated. “Well he says that sometimes he gets tired out and counting even morale characters can get pretty tired out which I allow since he has done it before.” He explains.

Which then Mrs. Kimura look up as if she remembers something. “Oh right, you two were from the same school, correct?” She asked which Ueda-san nodded. “You could say that but I’ll talk about that later, right now… let’s just begin our discussion; such as the Satellite dish.” He suggested making a quick change of subject which it seems like he didn’t want to bring up but then all our attention turn to Nakahara-san pointed up one finger.

“Good news everyone! I have completed 50 percent of the Dish’s power but you’ll need to go to a planet to get the rest of the parts to make Zio come down by tomorrow’s dawn!” He declared but then the others are done. “So I take it will be done around tomorrow morning?” Ohta-san spoke flatly – seeming not too interested nor even caring much but then Kimura-san look excited.

“Oh finaaaally! I get to see what I miss out; seriously I’m really curious what the hell is going on.” She groaned which Mrs. Kimura shake her head. “Like I say, you really should be out… hey, why not we go for a walk like we use tomorrow?” She suggested which Kimura-san roll her eyes. “Fine then, if it’s gotten you off my back but not sure why you want to spend time now.” She spoke, seems she was suffering from phone withdrawal or something else but I notice Mrs. Kimura wanted to say something but look away.

There… seems to be a lot more to that relationship then I thought but I better not ask about it, which then I turn to see that Katou-san who just return. “Okay, I’m back which I prepare to hibernate so what’s going on?” He asked which then Abiko-san spoke up.

“Okay since everyone is here, I can finally get him – Hamoponi; there was a question I wanted to ask.” He stated which after a few moments Hamoponi appear, seemed annoyed. “What is it?! Don’t ya see I was enjoying some good apples?” He growled, clearly not wanting his breakfast ruin.

Which then Kobayashi-san cross his arms, clearly not in the mood for jokes. “Look, we just want to ask you about someone…” He stated which Hamoponi tilted his head to the side. “Yes, it’s the name Esumi Masa, the Ultimate Journalist – we notice that she’s not with us or has appear so we were wondering… is she the one that is hidden somewhere?” Abiko-san had asked the horse which he went silent which he thought it over. “Ah, Esumi Masa… the one that got left behind.” He stated which Mrs. Kimura stood up as wondering about that statement.

“Ho-Hold on! What are you saying? Esumi-san was… left behind?” She asked which Hamoponi shook his head then explained. “I really wish to not say much regarding Esumi Masa but as far as I know, she is nowhere in the ski resort or is hidden if you’re thinking but… she was left behind and taken by the Remnants of Despair.” He stated which I stepped back.

Remnants of Despair, that term is new to me… what are they, who are they? I was very confused. “Remnants of Despair, who in the world are they?” I turn to Chikao-san who ask that question I wanted to which then Hamoponi continue. “Well, let’s say it’s a group of people that cause destruction to the world, it was part of why I decided to place you all here… for your safety among other reasons.” He stated then he turns away. “Personally - I would have brought her along but it was out of my power to do so yet again – it be best to forget about Esumi Masa…” He stated as he disappears which cause Inoue-chan seem confused.

“Forget… about Esumi Masa? But why is that?” She asked which then Hayashi-san seem to ponder. “He is suggesting that likely Esumi Masa might be dead but still, it could be possible she is alive.” She explained but then another question was brought up by Katou-san who seem worried as covering both his eyes with his paws but was peaking through.

“Also… who are the Remnants of Despair? They sound super scary that even this bear wouldn’t want to face!” He stated which then Hanlon-san mention. “Well from the sounds of it, they seem like a group but what Hamoponi say they are very dangerous, right?” He questions which the others seem to look worry but then Ueda-san spoke up.

“Maybe… it be best to listen to that Hamoponi? I mean, I think it’s clear he is trying to protect us even if he couldn’t save this Esumi person…” He suggested which then the others look at each other then smiled. “Oh yeah, your right dude! I mean – it makes sense but maybe there’s a possibility that she’s alive? I mean we haven’t seen her so who knows… maybe she’ll show up like a star or something!” She joked which the others snicker except for one.

“Excuse you but who’s the Astrologoist here, idiot surfer girl?” question Ohta-san who took offenses to that comment which of course Hamasaki-san laughed a bit. “Geez, don’t be such a sour puss now Ohta-chan!” She stated which the others seem to forget about the conversation which I then notice…

Ueda-san left a bit early then normal, maybe he was getting food prepare but I also notice that Katou-san was staring at him but then notice me looking at him then wave it off.

“Hey hey, why are looking this way unless you’re having your way with me but otherwise – let’s get breaky then!” He stated as he rushes over to his seat which I sat down next to Hayashi-san and Nakahara-san which I smiled at Nakahara-san.

“Well, at least with the satellite dish; maybe will get some answers regarding what’s going on.” I commented which Nakahara-san smiled a bit. “I am most curious too, I mean – my powers are being of use here and I’m happy of that!” He stated which I laughed a bit. “Yep, yet again thanks for your help.” I complimented him which Hayashi-san laugh a bit. “Well, glad to see we’re all in high spirits, hm?” She stated which I nodded. “Yep, totally and best it’s nice we get to eat together!”

I couldn’t help but think… maybe this place isn’t so bad? I mean things are looking up or maybe I’m just ignoring the issue entirely but for now; I think eating breakfast is the best for now…

Event: Skating with Miwa

After finishing up breakfast, I took my leave for my bedroom; it seems I promise Mori-san I would be skating with her today which with that I left with the skates in hand and went to the ice rink which when I got there, I seems Mori-san was waiting there.

“Oh great, you arrive – now then, we can start skating! I mean while it’s fun to be competitive; I think one such as I would need to skate for fun!” She declared as I shrugged. “Well I’m not much of a skater sadly but maybe you can teach me?” I asked which then Mori-san’s eyes sparkled when ask this which she grab my wrist. “Then you better put on those skates, right now would be great~!” She declared as then I went over to a seat as taking my boots off but then a few others notice.

“Hey Hey guys, lookie – seems they look to be doing something!” Mori-san and I notice that Ionue-chan, Chikao-san and Hamasaki-san approach. “Oh, hey guys… you’re here for skating too?” I asked which Mori-san was shock. “What?! But I thought this would be a private lesson with Okamoto-san and the great Mori Miwa~!” She stated as gesturing to herself which Hamasaki-san looked confused. “Well sorry then but we wanted to try skating… plus I ask chief here if he wanted to help me out since I’ve never skated before.” She explained as it look like she had skates.

Our attention to Chikao-san which he laughed. “Well maybe we can all skate together then?” He suggested which then Mori-san huffed. “Fi-Fine, but keep in mind I won’t go easy on all of you and you took my idea.” She stated, clearly upset about not getting to skate with me but seem happy about the company which then 2 more show up.

“Ooooh, Tomoie-kun! Looks like there’s a group here!” It seems Ueda-san and Katou-san appear to be carrying what looks to be flask water bottle along with two steel cups which. “Oh… I thought it was going to be Mrs. Mori and Mrs. Okamoto but seems we got more company.” He stated which Hamasaki-san tilted her head. “Hey hey, what ya have in that cup there?” She asked which Katou-san spoke up. “It’s Hot Chococlate that Tomoie-kun had made! He notices that Miway-chan wanted to skate so he figure he bring some along~!” He explained which it seem Mori-san look defeated.

I guess her day didn’t go as expected which then Chikao-san thought it over. “Hey, don’t look so defeated; maybe Ueda-kun could get more cups and we can skate; say Katou-kun; you wish to join us?” He asked which cause Katou-san to look very excited. “Oh yessy but I don’t need skates; besides blades are bad!” As then Katou-san rush out and started to slip around on the ice which cause Mori-san to panic.

“Hey! Don’t go on skates, you’ll break you head you damn furry!” She explaimed as then I finish putting on the skates which Ueda-san left a moment. “Then excuse me while I get more cups.” He say as taking his leave.

Moments later, we all got on the ice rink; as me, I was clingy onto Mori-san for dear life. “aaaah, u-um i-is the ice suppose to be this slippery?” I asked with concern which Mori-san laugh a bit. “Don’t worry, just take your time and you’ll get use to it~!” She stated as helping me learn how to skate but I notice the others which it seems Ueda-san came back.

“Ah, seems the others got on the ice already well, I’ll sit by which if you guys get cold, come over here…” He stated as he sat himself down as watching the others skate. Inoue-chan look to be spinning around with Katou-san which look like he was having fun.

“Weeeeeeeeee!” both say at the same time.

However, I notice that Chikao-san and Hamasaki-san look to be skating fine and even holding hands… something tells me that Hamasaki-san just wanted to spend time with Chikao-san. “Hm? You don’t seem to have trouble skating at all Hana-san.” Chikao-san which Hamasaki-san looked then eyed him. “Well, guess so but do you want to stop skating with me~?” She asked which Chikao-san thought it over.

“I guess not, besides I’m really enjoying myself.” He admitted as the 2 continue to skate.

It seems everyone is enjoy themselves… while I struggle with skating.

After some time having fun skating and drinking Hot Chocolate made by Ueda-san, we all return back to the cottage which I went back to my room, I then notice I had some Free time.

Free Time!

As then, I decided to begin to wander around and explore to see what everyone was doing, which I then discover Mrs. Kimura near the pharmacy which she looks to be holding her head. “Tomoe, I know why your mad but I just…” It seems that Mrs. Kimura was still hurt from what happen this morning.

Maybe I should try and cheer up Mrs. Kimura when she’s this down?

Mrs. Kimura took notice of me which she sighed. “Ah, you… must of heard for the medicine, correct? Or… are you here to help me? I mean, I’m not sure what you can do but okay…” She stated as to keep authority but it seems she didn’t mind the company.

As then I try to help speak with Mrs. Kimura regarding this morning; despite it not being much help she looks to be a bit happier to speak with someone it seems…

I’m not sure if I’m allow but me and Mrs. Kimura grew a bit closer!

It seems that Mrs. Kimura look to be eyeing me up and down as she crosses her arms and I was curious about her. “Say Mrs. Kimura – you mention before you were a Hope’s Peak student; mind telling me more about your talent?” I asked being curious about which it seem that Mrs. Kimura lighten up a bit.

“Oh that well – while my talent isn’t the most useful, I still feel a sense of pride when decorating with flowers; I always felt relieved when doing the activity and help me to express myself at a young age… it actually started when I saw, someone make them and I decided to try them myself which got me world wide fame. I even remember befriending a girl from the Saionji clan – I think her daughter would be attending Hope’s Peak as the Ultimate Traditional Dancer!” She spoke with a sense of pride which I smiled a bit, it seems that flowering decorating is something that Mrs. Kimura really enjoys.

I was pretty investitive in regards to Mrs. Kimura’s past which I nodded. “I can tell you surely love to flower decorating; I mean they seem really creative and look like they take quite a bit of time to make.” I stated which Mrs. Kimura giggle to herself. “I guess so but it helps me relax as to express myself when I had no other outlet; I think it’s why I tend to get really excited for girl’s day even at my age where I don’t do it as much as I use to…” She spoke which I blinked.

“Really, you don’t do the thing you love?” I asked which then Mrs. Kimura sighed as holding fan with both hands which she look to the ground. “Well, if anything I just stop doing it after… well, let’s say I stop doing a lot of things I love; even not spending time with Tomoe which I’m trying to owe up by becoming a teacher, but yet again… I guess I wouldn’t blame her.” She stated as taking her leave.

I guess something happen to cause this drift if I’m getting this but I’m sure I’ll find a way to help.

Kimura Kamika, Former Ultimate Ikebana Artist FTE: 1/5

After some time by standing there I decided to return to my room, which then I look at the clock to notice I still had more time which then I left my room which I figure I spend time with Kimura-san which funny enough she is in her room which I went over, giving a knock then after a moment of silence the door unlock

“Okay I’m all set, you can come in!”

Shouted what sound like Kimura-san which then I enter her room which I notice there look to be a mic along with a laptop, her covers appear to be floral and pastels – likely this is for making covers for songs which Kimura-san looks to be standing in her room.

As then I approach Kimura-san who seem a bit annoyed. “Geez, I get that mom wants to spend time with me but the damage is already done…” It seems she was still not happy about this morning like her but for different reasons.

Maybe I should try and cheer up Kimura-san when she’s this upset?

It was then Kimura-san notice I enter the room. “Oh hey Okamoto-chan, want to talk with me? Well sure thing! I guess talking with someone instead of waiting for the Wi-Fi to turn on would distract me.” She stated, seeming pretty excited about me being here.

As then Kimura-san and I spend time messing around with her studio as we sung songs and even talk for a bit…

Looks like me and Kimura-san grew a bit closer!

I then wanted to ask a question. “So since I notice you more worried about the Wi-Fi then interacting with the others, is it likely where your talent started?” I asked which Kimura-san nodded.

“Well duh! I always like talk with people online even before I gain my talent in singing – usually the conversations range from anime, music and just any topic you can think of.” She stated with a smile which I smile a bit.

“Are you aware of the dangers of the internet?” I asked which Kimura-san thought it over. “Yeah I am, I’m not that stupid to believe everything on the internet or let people get to me… actually I remember a guy wanted to meet me but he was mega fishy so I block him and never look back – I think he was even the first person I block too.” At least from the sound of it; Kimura-san is wary of the internet from the looks of it so that’s good.

I then wonder about her talent. “So then, you mention you gain your talent from internet fame which can you tell me how it started?” Which then Kimura-san sigh as she seems down. “I do recall the time and honestly I think it was when I was… pretty down, it was after my dad passed away and my mom was so depressed…” She stated as crossing her arms with a sadden look.

“I did try to get her attention but I gave up that I turn to the internet to at least get SOME attention which then I decided to sing some song, I believe it was Simple and Clean from Kingdom Hearts which… got some attention and even people I should start singing.” She stated with a smile which I guess is what started her career.

Even then Kimura-san continue. “Which then after that I began to do covers for games and anime, I was interested which then I even started to create my own original songs which after a while got the attention of Hope’s Peak which I think snapped mom out of her depressive episode but honestly… It a little too late if you ask me, I mean hell the only reason she took up a job as a teacher at that school so she can spend time with me.” She stated in an annoyed tone.

One can tell that Kimura-san was disappointed in her mother from the looks of it and went to the internet due to say disappointment which… I can get a little bit, but from what I’m seeing it seems like miscommunication on both parts.

Kimura Tomoe, Ultimate Acapella Singer FTE: 1/5

After that we spoke a bit more then after that I return back to my room since it was getting late.

As I look at the clock I notice that it was late which I figure I might go get a snack before I go to bed which as I left my room, I notice Inoue-chan who… was sneezing and seem unwell. “Hey, are you okay?” I asked as I went over as placing my hand on her forehead which she look like she gain a slight fever.

“U-Ugh, we-well I caught a cold and I wa-wanted to get medicine, I-I was about to head to the pharmacy but knowing some of them would tell me to rest…” She explained which I sneezed which I raise an eyebrow.

I’m sure they’d help get it for her but I sigh. “Then maybe we can get it together? You know which medicine you want to get?” I asked as I walk on ahead.

Which then Inoue-chan seem happy about that as she follows after me. “I mean, yeah I know what to get and seems that pharmacy does restock so I can go grab it without paying, a total steal!” She stated as then me and Inoue-chan went downstairs as the 2 of us put on our boots which we both left for the pharmacy.

I notice some people outside such as Ohta-san who seem to be looking at the night skies and likely didn’t want to be bother, along with Mori-san who seem to be talking with Kita-san or well… Mori-san looking to have a one-sided conversation along with Chikao-san who was talking with Abiko-san about something but I wasn’t paying attention which then we got to the pharmacy.

As the 2 of us walk in, we were looking around sections for the medicine that Inoue-chan needed but then she notices something which she pulled my sleeve. “Psh, hey look…” She stated as she got my attention which I notice Katou-san look to be looking at the door with concern.

“I really hope he knows what he’s doing…” He stated which I walk over to where Katou-san was at which Inoue-chan follow after me.

Which that seem to get Katou-san’s reaction. “Oh, Fuji-chan and Sunako-chan! I’m glad to see you here.” He greeted which I look in the direction that Katou-san was looking at. “Heya there Kuma-chan! Say, what are you doing here? Sick too?” Inoue-chan ask as tilting her head to the side.

Which Katou-san looked a bit nervous and stated. “We-Well you could say that! I was just getting medicine for my hibernation so don’t worry about it!” He spoke as then he left which seem really weird but I guess that hibernation must be a huge thing for him which Inoue-chan walk over and found the medicine.

“Yep, found it but still – it seems Kuma-chan is hiding something, huh?” She asked which cause me to turn to her. “Huh, really?” I asked which Inoue-chan blinked. “Well yeah – he seems really nervous about something usually you try to get outta there as quick as possible or change the subject as quickly as possible… anyway, I got my medicine so now I can go to bed; thanks for helping me out, big sis!” She spoke as placing both hands on her hips.

If she wasn’t too concern then I guess I wasn’t either, which then the 2 of us return to the cottage which after Inoue-chan taken the medicine while I got my snack then she return to bed which I did the same as I call it a day.

“I recall seeing a sign at one point, one that say that it’s okay to ask for help and you aren’t a burden or some such which… maybe sometimes that might be a form of weakness.

Having to rely on others and feeling useless in the grand scheme of things which you want to do things on your own inside of relying on others but even then, one can’t avoid not asking for help; sometimes they really do need it after all!

But then there’s one that says that murder is okay so… maybe not doing all 4 is the best.”

After dinner, there was an awkward vibe between Shura and I. Neither her or I have said anything to each other even after she came home.

"You didn't tell me you were going on a trip.", Shura suddenly speaks up.

"My bad?", I say and she smacks me on my head. "Uh...OW!?"

Tatsuo hisses in sympathy.

"You earned that! You had me worried!", she says looking back at the sink. "All Might called home and I was worried sick. You're lucky I was stuck at work, or I'd have been there to strangle you."

I sweatdropped. "Please don't."

She sighs and shakes her head. "Just be careful. This is your first time fighting a villain and you almost died...."

"I didn't get anywhere close to dying, Shura.", I say, crossing my arms.

"To me, you did. I shouldn't have to get a phone call home about you being in danger or hurt, or worse.", she says, sullen and walking to her room.

"I know.", I say, looking down at my lap, not wanting to make it worse.

"She's only looking out for you, Sunako.", Tomohiro says.

I know.

After two days of resting, I went outside only to see Bakugou already ahead.

“So, you weren’t gonna wait?”, I joked, catching up to him.

“Tch.”, he rolled his eyes. “You take too long. Shouldn’t take you 30 years to put on some pants.”

“You’re exaggerating and a drama queen,” I say.

He glared at me and I just laughed as we got to the entrance.

“Hey, Sunako!”, I hear Mina call me.

Before I could turn around, I was tugged somewhere into the girls changing room.

“What’s going on!?”, I exclaimed, seeing Yaoyorozu, Tsuyu and Uraraka trailing behind her.

“It’s about time you got out of those pants, don’t you think…?”, Ashido smiles sinisterly, along with the other trio.

“And that’s my cue to leave.”, Tomohiro says, disappearing.

You ass! Don’t leave me!!

I backed up into a wall. “What’re you trying to do….?”

Tsuyu wrapped me up with her tongue as Yaoyorozu sized me up, making a skirt, black thigh highs, a black bra in my size.

“Don’t even think about putting that on me!”, I yelled.

“Would you rather do it yourself?”, Ashido asked.

“I’d rather die!”, I deadpanned.

They looked at me with straight faces and neared me again.

“You can beat me or whatever, but I ain't putting it on!”, I exclaim.

"Oh, c'mon! It's not that bad.", Mina says, making me raise both of my eyebrows in disbelief.

“Hey, you guys!!”, Ashido calls.

I felt myself being dragged inside the classroom, hearing a bunch of voices going around and then it gets quiet.

“We got something to show ya! Meet the new Homura Sunako!”, she announces, ripping a cover off of me.

I look around the room to see the rest of the class’s wide eyes and some of their cheeks dusted pink.

“Isn’t she cute??”, Uraraka asks.

“Very.”, Kaminari grins.

“I didn't need your opinion!”, I yell and Mina giggles, wrapping her arms around me.

I glanced toward the rest of the room. “What’re you guys staring at!? Quit gawkin’!!”, I growled.

“Aw, c'mon Sunako-chan…you don’t look bad. You’re super cute!”, Hagakure says.

“I’m not cute!”, I argue.

“She’s right, though!”, Kaminari says and grins at Kirishima. "Don't you think so, bro?" Kirishima rubs behind his neck. "C'mon, don't make her uncomfortable."

I groaned out loud turning to Mina. “Why’d you make me put this on?”

“To get in touch with your inner femininity.”, she says, shrugging.

What kinda answer is that….?

“She’s right, you know.”, Tomohiro says. "It doesn't hurt to do so every now and then."

Your opinion is invalid. You didn't help me.

The door slid open to show a wrapped up mummy.

“Who-?”, I started, but was cut off by threatening, but mumbled voice.

“Why are you all still up…? Sit. Down.”, a familiar voice says.

“Mr. Aizawa….!?”

“You’re back!!”

“Aren’t you supposed to be resting??”

“My well being isn’t of importance right now. I just need to let you all know that your battle isn’t finished.”, he says, walking over to the podium.

“What…?”

“More villains….?”, I whispered.

“The sports festival is coming up.”, he says.

Everyone sighs in relief. Asshole…

“I forget this is a school.”, Kaminari says.

“Everyone…I’m gonna do my best!”, Uraraka exclaims.

Everyone fist pumps the air. “Yeah!!”

“I said I’m gonna do my best!!”, Uraraka yells aggressively.

“Y-yeah….”

The class went by just as fast as it came and everyone clambered to leave.

“I’m so tired…”, I say, yawning. I glanced Uraraka as she trembles, facing the door.

“W-what the-!?”

“What’s going on!?”, Midoriya exclaims.

The door was blocked by various and many students from other classes.

“What now…?”, I say, walking up to group.

“What’re they here for!?”, Mineta yelled looking confused.

Bakugou brushes past me. “They know about USJ, you idiots. They’re scoping out the competition.”

Mineta points at him and looks at Midoriya as he reassures him.

Bakugou walks up to the door. “Now that we got that out the way, you idiots have no business looking in here. Now, get outta my way, extras!”

“H-hey! Bakugou!”

“You can’t just call people extras because you don’t know who they are!”, Iida yells.

I walked up to the door, but paused as a bored looking, lavender haired student walked up. “I heard you guys were impressive, but you just sound like an ass. I’m sad to find that you guys aren’t nothing but egotistical maniacs.”

“Hah!?”, Bakugou sneered.

I frowned. “Now, wait just a minute-”

The guy starts rambling and I sigh, tuning out.

This is a waste of time…

“Bakugou, where are you going? It’s your fault they’re in our grill!”, I hear Kirishima exclaim.

“None of that shit matters. When you rise to the top, none of these shitheads will matter.”, Bakugou says leaving.

"That guy moves to the beat of his own drum.", I say, rubbing my temple. "I kinda like him. He doesn't take shit from no one.", Tatsuo says, smirking.

You two might just get along then cause you're both annoying.

I sighed, walking out of the school after the day.

“I never understood what all that was about. They saw who they were up against, why provoke us?”, I grumble lowly.

“They want to see who was really a challenge. Considering this is a popular school.", Tomohiro says.

“Maybe they’re scared.", Tatsuo says and I roll my eyes. "Scared of what? We haven't done much."

"They'll be seeing soon enough but for now, just worry about training.", Tomohiro warns.

I walked inside my house and paused seeing my aunt drop her remote.

“You…you’re wearing a skirt….and you look ADORABLE!!”, she gets up and squishes my cheeks.

“Told you, it’s not bad. It’s a good change.”, Tomohiro grins.

“Yeah, yeah.", I grumble, pushing her off. "I haven't seen you wear a skirt in so long," she pauses. "Who put you up to it?"

I shook my head. "Just a couple of girls from my class." She raised her eyebrows. "You told your class? I mean, it's obvious but how did they take it?"

"They were shocked…. confused?", I shrug. "They accepted it fairly quickly for some reason but there's no need to dwell on it." She nods. "Well it's good that they're looking out for you too. Make sure you make a lot of friends, yeah?"

I nod. "Okay."

She claps suddenly. "Speaking of friends, guess who's back?"

I tilted my head in confusion and walked around the stairs to get to the kitchen, where she had this mystery guest hidden.

“X-xen!? Ushio!?”

Ushio Suki and Xen Yamato, my childhood friends. We met at an Aikido tournament after I'd beaten Xen. Ushio rushed at his side in seconds so she's had a crush on him for the longest.

Ushio came up to me and hugged me. “How’ve you been? I missed you!”

He shrugged and smiled. “We saw each other at the store and thought to drop by and see how you were doing.”

I frown. Now, of all times….?

“Give them a chance. They’ve missed you.”, Tomohiro says from the island.

“It’s been a year, you guys.”, I say.

Xen scratches his cheek and chuckles nervously. “Yeah…it has.”

“Yeah, sorry. I went to America for a while. I had to deal with my grandma remember?”, she asks.

“Oh, that’s right. At least somebody bothered to tell me something.”, I say, pointedly at Xen.

An awkward silence ruled out in the air.

“I’ll leave you guys alone.”, Shura said, leaving the kitchen.

I crossed my arms. “So…”

“How’re you doing after the USJ incident…?”, he asks.

How’d he know about that….?

“How'd you know I was there…?”, I asked.

“You can’t answer my question with a question.”, he says.

Yeah, I meant to come see you but it was this redhead standing outside the nurse's office.”, she says, scratching her neck.

Kirishima...

I shook my head. “You’re in my house. Answer mine.”, I say, looking at Xen.

“I’m in 1-B.”, he says.

“I’m in the Support department.”, Ushio says.

My eyes widen. “You two are at UA….? I haven’t seen you there.”

“I could barely recognize you either until I saw your face.”, he says.

“Same.”

I sighed. “Well I’m doing fine, as you can see. I just came back.”

“Yeah, I see.”, he says, looking me up and down. Ushio smiled widely, doing the same. "This look is cute.", she says.

I sigh. “Well, if that’s all you’re here for, you can have any snack and leave. I’m gonna go wash up.”, I say.

“Damn, you’re throwing us out already?”, he joked.

“Yes, get out.”, Tatsuo orders and Tomohiro pats his shoulder.

I rolled my eyes with a smile. “I’m pretty sure you got other things to do.”

“Yeah, you’re right.”, he says going through my pantry.

“Yup, gotta get back home. I didn’t even tell my mom I was coming to visit you.”, she says.

“Don’t touch my pockies, I’ll murder you both in your sleep.”, I say, walking away.

“I believe it.”, he says, still rummaging.

“We won’t!”, Ushio exclaims.

My phone binged as soon as I walked out of my bathroom,catching my attention.

I shook my head, lurking through the messages and saved everyone's contact before slowly falling asleep.

Within the next few days of training for the festival, things weren’t getting any better. Everyone was bustling about getting themselves pumped up and prepared or some were just completely out of it and unprepared.

Me, on the other hand, I was a little bit of both.

“All of Japan will be watching, huh…?”, I asked Uraraka.

“Don’t remind me!”, she whines.

“It can’t be too bad…”, Yaoyozoru says trembling.

“Yaomomo, you’re shaking.”, Mina pointed out.

“Is everyone ready?”, Iida pops back in the room.

We all nod and get up until Todoroki calls Midoriya out.

I looked at him in confusion.

“Now, that we’re here for this festival…I just want you to know that I’m stronger than you.”, he says.

Midoriya just meekly nods.

“You’ve got All Might waiting for you on the sidelines. I won’t ask why, but I will beat you.”, he says.

He turns to me.

“The same goes for you, Homura. I don’t know exactly what your quirk is like, but I’ll beat you too.”

- Seongwoo and you haven’t met for four years. What will happen if you meet him in a blind date????

You were invited by your friend, Soojong to a blind date. You rejected her previous invitations but this time, she insisted for one whole week so you can’t say ‘no.’

There were four of you going to a cafe.

All of them are excited but you, on the other hand, is HELLA NERVOUS. IT’S THE FIRST TIME YOU WENT TO A DATE.

You saw four men sitting in one corner. You can tell that they are handsome from their backs (lol).

Due to nervousness, you were like “okay, I’M GOING OUT OF HERE” but no, Soojong grabbed your wrist with a “NO, YOU’RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE” stare.

You took a quick glance (you did not see them properly) but you just had to lower down your head. They were DAZZLING! CUE SUNAKO’S VOICE FROM YAMATO NADESHIKO

So, they’ve introduced themselves (you’re second to the last) and it was finally your turn and you can’t speak.

“Long time no see”, the guy infront of you said. And girl, his voice is REALLY FAMILIAR.

You raised your head and it’s HIM! ONG SEONGWOO!

“ONG SEONGWOO!” you said it so loud that you had to cover your mouth after.

He laughed after this.

“Do you know each other?”, Jaehwan, one of the men, asked.

“Yes, we were friends”, you replied.

“WERE???”, Seongwoo said. “We’re not friends anymore?” and he ended it with a pout.

“NO NO. I DIDN’T MEAN IT LIKE THAT” you explained.

He laughed again. “You haven’t changed a bit, Y/N.”

Both of you were having your little quarrel after years, you totally forgot that you’re with others.

All of them had this facial expression.

They’re like “YES, SOMETHING FRUITFUL WILL COME OUT AFTER THIS.”

yOU were talking too much, both of you did not realize it’s already evening.

Soojong pat your shoulder. “Hey, it’s already evening. We plan to go home now.”

OH SHIT. You forgot you had to go home cause finally, your father is coming home after a month.

You hurriedly grabbed your bag and bid them goodbye.

You were running towards the station but you noticed that someone is running behind you and it’s Seongwoo.

“Seongwoo? Why are you following me?”

He put his hand in front of your face.

“hOW CAN YOU RUN SO FAST?!”, he said.

“Y/N, can i go with you? I want to say my greetings to aunt and uncle..”

“UHHH, sure”

but you wanted to tell him NO. you remembered that time you brought him home because he was your best friend and you wanted to play video games. after he went home, your mother was like “OOHHH, MY DAUGHTER IS GROWING.~~~” (see spongebob gif for reference)

So you went home with him. You led him to the dining room and your mother's face just became a lot livelier MORE THAN WHEN SHE SEES HER HUSBAND AFTER A MONTH

"My! Is that you, Seongwoo?!!!"

"Ah yes" with a shy gesture (putting his hand behind his head)

"You've become so tall and handsome! My my my!" You had to stop your mother. She's praising him TOO MUCH.

"MOM~" "okay okay, I'll stop. Come sit here, Seongwoo. Eat with us."

You guys had a nice conversation. It seems like four years did not even passed. Seongwoo can speak comfortably with your parents. After dinner, you washed the dishes with him. While you were busy, he nudged you lightly.

You gave him a “What?” stare. He went close to you and whispered.

“I missed you.”

HOW CAN HE DO A SURPRISE ATTACK LIKE THAT???? You can feel your face heating up. You glanced at him and he had a smug look on his face.

You composed yourself and glared at him. “So, I didn’t know that you’ve become a playboy now???”

His smug face disappeared. “What???? NO. I really meant that.”

“Okay okay.” And you dismissed the thought. You didn’t realize the sad look in Seongwoo’s face.

After that, he went home and you went to your room. Someone knocked on your door and you know exactly who it is.

“What is it, Mom?”

and she looked at you like this:

“So, you’re with Seongwoo AGAAAAAAIN?”

“Don’t make it sound like we had a romantic relationship. I’ve seen him a while ago in a cafe.”

“Oooooh, then maybe it’s fate.”

You rolled your eyes. “Mom, I want to sleep now.” “Fine, fine.” She closed the door and you covered yourself with the blanket. As you dozed off, that “I missed you” by Seongwoo kept on repeating on your mind.

Fastforward....

For some reason, you’ve been seeing Seongwoo like almost everyday since that dinner. And you’re starting to think that it’s really fate. That one time, you were buying some groceries and as you were about to pay, you saw Seongwoo on another counter. There was also this REALLY weird instance. You’re going outside the restroom of a mall when you saw Seongwoo standing outside. Like there’s tons of restrooms in that mall but you saw him there.

“Seongwoo? Why are you here?”

“Oh, ummm... I’m waiting for a friend. He’s inside the restroom.”

“I see. Nice seeing you. I’m going.”

But Seongwoo ALWAYS tells you to wait for him ‘cause he’s going to walk you home. Sometimes you wonder if he wants free dinner.

Seongwoo, on the other hand, wants to confess to you but he wants to tease you first. I GOT THE FEELING THAT HE’S THE TYPE WHO WILL TEASE HIS CRUSH/ LOVER SO MUCH THAT SHE’LL COME TO HATE HIM LOL.

So he contacted Soojong (your friend) for advices

Soojong, your evil friend, told Seongwoo to make you jealous and guuuurl, Seongwoo liked the idea.

The next time you met him, he’s with a woman. They were laughing together. For some reason, your heart was hurting. You turned away and realized that it was really not fate.

After Seongwoo saw you left, he started to question if he was being too confident that you like him back. He was expecting that you'll come running towards him and scold him for dating another woman BUT you did not.

After some time, he decided to meet you and this time, confess for real. He was walking to get to your house when he passed by a small playground and he saw your familiar back. He was getting fidgety. Like this is the moment he's waiting for.

When he went beside you, he was SHOCKED to see you crying.

"W-why are you crying?? Hey Y/N."

On the other hand, you're "SEONGWOO?! You're the LAST person I want to see now."

"Ha? Why? Did I do something wrong???" , with a confused look on his face.

"No. You didn't. There's just something wrong with me."

"Well, tell me what's wrong."

So you don't care anymore and you just want to say that you were jealous and you actually like him more than a friend.

Seongwoo noticed the changed in your expression. You became timid and getting red and he might have the idea of what you're trying to do. He doesn't care if its him being overconfident. He wants to do it first.

You were about to speak but..

"WAIT. Let me say something first."

YOU'RE THE ONE WHO TOLD ME TO SAY WHAT'S WRONG AND YOU ARE STOPPING ME??? but nvm, you let him be.

"Y/N, I really like you. I've liked you since four years ago. After I've changed schools, I lost contact with you and I thought that's it but then--"

wait wHAT

"-- I saw again in that mixer and I knew it was fate. I'm sooo happy that I saw you again."

Seongwoo glanced at you and you can make a dam with how much you're crying.

"I like you too Seongwoo~" you said while wailing.

Seongwoo finally can breath and he was laughing seeing your face.

He gently lifted your face and wiped your tears with his fingers. He has this really beautiful and gentle smile on his face.

IMAGINE SEONGWOO DOING THAT! Yes, I'm in fangirling mode.

After awhile, he held your hand and made you stand up. "I'll walk you home."

While walking, he would rub is thumb to your hand from time to time. When you've arrived outside your house, he gave you a tight hug. In response, you gave him a kiss on the cheeks and Seongwoon looks taken aback lol.

He then gave you a quick kiss on the lips and he ran away. You'be noticed the redness on his ears while he was running. Both of you were smiling so wide.

After you've entered the house, that's also the time you realized he was not there just to have free dinner.

[Gaming] Nuzlocke Moon 1

This was in my draft box for a really long time, god (for months, I think) (Written for myself) (It’s sort of a nuzlocke rendition of the SM story)

It starts off like this: Sunako Sakami, girl kid, quiet, expressionless, lowkey emotionless too. Kid lives in Kanto. Kid’s mom sees a live battle of her old friend Kukui fighting the League. With Alolan pokemons. Kid’s mom falls in love with the Alolan style. Kid’s mom decides to move to Alola. Kid doesn’t object. When you have a carefree mom, you might as well learn to go with her flow. It’s not horrible, to be honest. So her mom rings up Kukui, they make arrangements, and Kukui sets up a video chat account for the kid.

(”So which photo should I use for your Trainer Passport?” —Also, turns out that Kukui is the regional Pokemon Professor of Alola. Sounds sophisticated.)

(If anything, kid can still contact her friend through video chat.)

(“Show me some Alolan ’mons when you get there!” Says her friend, testing out the video chat already. “Maybe even send one over!”)

And so it begins.

Sunako’s mom is a speedy unpacker. By the end of Day One, about eighty percent of the stuff are already in their respective places. Groceries purchased. Bedsheets made. Jet lag is non-existent in her mom’s system. Sunako, on the other hand, suffers from the plane trip. She’s not having a grudge over it or anything, but she is tired. So she sleeps through the entire Day Two.

Almost. Kukui intrudes their house in the night. Yeah, he knocked—kid was supposed to get the door, though.

(It’s probably an Alolan custom.)

Kukui wants to introduce her to the Kahunas and get her a pokemon. Eleven-year-old Sunako Sakami has no clue why she needs a pokemon. Mother already has Meowth.

"Hey now, Sunako! Let's get a move on to the next town over, cousin! Time for you to meet the Island Kahuna and get yourself a Pokémon, yeah!"

"A pokemon...?!”

"Yeah, sure. The kahuna who lives in Iki Town is always happy to give any kid who wants to have an adventure their first Pokémon, yeah. But don't try taking on the kahuna yourself! The kahunas are crazy-strong Pokémon Trainers. They're unbeatable for folks like me and you!"

This is all happening too quickly.

Next thing you realize, you venture on a wobbly bridge to rescue a small, blue-purply pokemon (because some blond-haired girl in a white hat and a white dress asked you to, and you didn’t know how to turn down her request; she looked pretty desperate too), almost dies falling off of said wobbly bridge, gets saved by a yellow mohawk bird, and finds out that the yellow mohawk bird is, apparently, the guardian deity of this Melemele Island.

Now people are suggesting to Sunako the option of being a pokemon trainer. She doesn’t feel ready for it. She knows that her friend goes to another school in Kanto that specifically teaches pokemon battling so they can go explore the world or something, but Sunako’s not one of these kids, at least not when she was in school. She’s not the adventure-y type.

She gets a starter pokemon anyways. It’s a Popplio.

She names it “Ryuuka”（流華）. The name takes a Japanese pronunciation; the character combination itself is a figurative word that means “moonlight like the water” in Chinese. He’s a calm natured ’mon. (+SpA, -SPE) [The starters are slow anyways, so speed being decreased isn’t a huge issue. The increased special attack is good for a non-resetting run.] [Also, the Chinese versions are cursed with a character limit of 6. You can name your pokemon in Japanese and/or aesthetic English, but not in Chinese.]

Sunako doesn’t quite know what to do with this boy—one can’t expect her to know. To her surprise, she defeats Hau, Kahuna Hala’s grandson, in a pokemon battle. Hau uses a Litten. The adults invite Sunako to a ceremony shortly afterward. Taking it as a guide to becoming accustomed to the Alolan culture, she accepts. Sunako returns home and shows Mother her popplio. Her mom is delighted. Day Two passes.

Kukui teaches the kid how to catch pokemon the next day. Sunako attempts to catch a Pikipek, but Ryuuka landed a critical hit on the ’mon, and the pokeball wouldn’t budge on a fainted ’mon. So that didn’t go very well. [Route 1 pokemon catch: Fail. For this Nuzlocke I’ve decided that I can still catch extra dex pokes (see “Friend’s Request” in the beginning), but only the first one I catch in a region can be used in battle.]

By the time she reaches to Iki Town for the ceremony, it was sunset. She manages to beat Hau easily, since she did lots of training with Ryuuka on Route 1. Her mom was proud. And that was Day Three.

Lillie knocks on the door on Day Four. She doesn’t barge in.

(Hmm. So it’s not an Alolan custom?)

Lillie brings Sunako to Kukui’s Lab. The clamor that goes on in there is concerning. (”Woo!”)

(Hau arrives too.)

Kukui gives the kid a pokedex - it’s cool and all, and Sunako was asked to fill the dex and all (for the sake of science, probably, so she can’t turn down that request), but she doesn’t really want to go on this traveling trial thing that the Alolans mentioned before - heck, she’s just a newbie trainer! Kukui notices the kid’s worries and tells her to check out the Trainer School. Lillie will take her there.

Things always fall apart.

Life never relents in pursuit of the weakest link in the chain; it says something about Riley to kick his feet up so blasé at the slightest inclination that he may receive a cute girl’s praise. Overconfidence, perhaps, that the rest of the neurons in everybody’s brains might spontaneously fry, or a complete and utter forgetfulness, casualness, to throw away two corpses and a carton of eggs at the drop of a hat over sinking his teeth into a secret and very much holding on for dear life. Clean shoes, deep ridges, added ‘u’, burnt nose bridges, it’s all so very, very, nicely laid out. Here is Point A, which connects to B and C, and here’s where people went and died. Another twist of the knife, just in case the one in Ides’ heart and Sunny’s side didn’t quite do it for you.

Hundreds of thousands of people are going to have the bloodied bodies of two fine people blasted straight into their eyes, no delay, no censorship, and the network ain’t even gonna be shy. Sunny, Ides, people’s children, people’s friends, people’s inspirations, people’s, people. Now nothing more than empty husks, the is gone to a was, boom, bam, it’s going to explode. Not a days rest for grieving loved ones. Microphones and cameras, half-hearted predatory condolences, drooling, gibbering mouths, waiting for the next piece of that broken peace, hounds, all of them down to the last rotten drop, curbside hounds.

Bonbon would never hold anything against someone. He’s vain, perhaps a touch vindictive, but only in a playful, joking manner. His grudges last as long as his hunger, and once his stomach has settled, nary a crease of worry or disdain on his brow. Each second of his life has nothing to do with the last; he hurdles passionately, blindly, and with several trips and flips, from the present with no heed for the past. So he would never sneer at anyone, and he would never hate, and he would most certainly never condemn someone, for a clown is a haven as much as they are a person.

There’s no drumming on his cup anymore. It’s empty, pushed to the side. No heed for Castella’s kind hand, Fergus’s boorish threats, Sunako’s tears, or Alfie’s unsubtle (truthfully embarrassing) attempt at persuasion. No reflection back from the black of it.

It begs the question: what is that expression on the face that’s speaking, and on whose face is it?

“Oh, you know somethin’, Castella, Jun’ya? Now, this’d done passed my mind a while ago, but somethin’ youse did said rung a bell in this noggin’! A ‘lil bird told me a secret ‘bout last challenge, yip, yes, yessiree! Did’ya know that Riley placed dead last at the challenge? Bottom o’ the bottom o’ the barrel, no kiddin’!”

He waves the thought off like it was some pointless anecdote brought up at brunch. He’s a clown of integrity. He does not let things slide that good people told him in confidence.

“Strange. Wonder why that came back t’me now, of all times? Maybe the lack’uv sleep’s gettin’ to me!”

Memory Bullets

Hamoponi’s harm rule; Hamoponi had inform myself, Hana-san and Inoue-chan that if anyone in the ski resort is hurt in anyway, the culprit will be kick out for everyone’s elses safety or we can kill that person if we want to but if we get it wrong or waste time then everyone else besides Hamoponi’s creator will be kick out.

Fuji, Hana and Sunako’s Accounts; All 3 of us were at the iron door pass the plane, seeing if there was a way out. Inoue-chan left a bit earlier but mention that she was waiting for us by the entrance of the path.

Chikao’s allergies; Chikao-san is allergic to animal fur, which gains him a rash that gets so bad that it bleeds – it seems the rash can be cure with medicine that can be found at the pharmacy.

Jobon and Tomohiro’s autopsy; Looks like that there are no wounds, however around Chikao-san’s neck it looks like a heavy rash that is bleeding. Seems like Ueda-san doesn’t know about this allergy.

Fake fur; There looks to be fake fur near Chikao-san, it seems that Hayashi-san could tell based on the texture.

Bedroom doors; Seems all the doors can be lock from the inside unless you have a key the only exception of Katou-san’s, who seem to have left it unlock when he’s sleeping and even rush off to find his headpiece.

Mrs. Kimura’s account; Mrs. Kimura was going on a hike with Kimura-san but it looks likes Hayashi-san, Kobayashi-san and Ueda-san wanted to see Mrs. Kimura about somethings; Hayashi-san was request by Ohta-san about a rocket she saw, Kobayashi-san about the door being block and Ueda-san asking about dinner. Which as Mrs. Kimura was about to go see what Ohta-san wanted to point to suddenly the announcement came on which she and Kimura-san went over to the lodge.

Tomoe’s account; Kimura-san mention that she notices that Ueda-san went to the ice rink but also notice a young boy rush by as he looks to be covering his face as he too was heading to the ice rink which before she could call out to him, the announcement came on.

Doi’s bear paws; Katou-san’s bear paws look to be cover in blood.

Doi’s account; Seems Katou-san was sleeping but look to be awoken by someone entering his room and taking his mask which he rushes out and trying to find his bear mask.

Bloody sink; It looks like the sink was cover in blood, likely the culprit was cleaning the blood off.

No Rope in Warehouse; Kobayashi-san mention that there is no rope in the warehouse near the lodge when he was getting tools to fix the door.

Star Gazing; Hana-san had ask Ohta-san to check about this star she saw this morning which lead to star gazing with her, Mori-san, Kita-san, Hayashi-san and Hanlon-san to go star gazing. Seems Ohta-san mention that the star she saw was a rocket which she ask Hayashi-san to go get Mrs. Kimura.

Circuit breaker; It seems that none of the wires were cut or anything was mess with so the lights might have been turn off by the culprit very quickly so they didn’t have time to mess with the wiring.

Rai’s Account; Seems Nakahara-san was in his room, which he lock the door as he was fixing up Kimura-san’s phone and look to have doze off before the announcement came on which would explain why he was late.

Makeshift Rope; Seems Hayashi-san was using animal fur and wire as a makeshift rope since she notices that we had no rope but when she came back, the rope was gone.

Benjiro’s Hearing; Abiko-san has mention he can hear the voices of the dead and decided to use it which he hears the following - Chikao-san was struggling for air; he even was coughing as well as trying to get it off but then he mentions the last thing he saw was… a bear mask, looking down at him then it went dark. He felt panic and seem surprise by the attack… meaning he didn’t see his attacker’s face or expected it.

CLASS TRIAL START!

Hamoponi: Right then, since this sprung up – welcome all to the class trial, today you all will figure out which one of your ingrates went and killed your classmate! You all have to inform me who is the blacken in this trial which that person will be kick out of the resort but if not… I will kick out everyone besides my creator, so you all better be clear with your decision.

Kimura Kimika: Wa-Wait, hold on a second… before we start this, can we get an explanation of the rules just so were clear?

Hamoponi: Pardon? Didn’t I already explain them to you or are you still confused by them?

Kimura Tomoe: The Rule? But I thought we were clear on that – I mean if we get it wrong we are kick out… right?

Hanlon Norman: She’s right, I think he made it pretty clear so let’s just discuss about what happen already!

Kimura Kimika: But still… I think it’s just that we have to make the rules clear since whoever killed Chikao-san must of known of this rule in advance… right? So I just need to make sure.

Seems like the others aren’t too sure of that rule… I better tell them.

Hanlon Norman: Yep, all thanks for Eito’s luck for finding it! I swear I didn’t notice that fire exit – he really is a true smokey the bear! Only he can prevent greenhouse fires!

Ohta Hoshiko: I thought the term was ‘forest fires’ but anyway, there is a reason why that person couldn’t escape.

The reason that the person couldn’t escape… well, I got a reason.

Okamoto Fuji: >Destoryed Fire Exit, I got it!

Okamoto Fuji: Actually, we discover that the fire exit has this hallway that leads to outside which seems the fire exit got destroyed so that person is trap in there.

Kita Jobon: So whoever is in there might still be alive but even then, with the door being destroyed that means it there must not be a lot of oxygen, correct? Are they even alive?

Mori Miwa: Quite true, we have no clue if whoever is trap in there could still be dead due to lack of oxygen…

Inoue Sunako: So are you saying that person could still be dead? But I don’t think that’s it chief!

Katou Doi: Well, I did check the door and there is one way…

So then, we need to know if there isn’t another victim but seems like the others are just trying to make sure… I better bring up that the person is still alive!

Okamoto Fuji: Actually, we did discover there are breathing holes in the fire exit which that means the person has air to breath.

Hanlon Norman: If that’s the case then how do we do it? I mean with the Fire exit door destroyed and the tree burning… we don’t have a way to move it.

I get the feeling that Katou-san is referring to that…

As then by request of Katou-san, we took our leave of the trial ground and found ourselves…

In the greenhouse, still in cinders as ever but seems the fire had died out but our attention was towards the tree that was blocking the fire exit which our mascot friend had walk over as he cracked his knuckles which the survivalist stepped towards.

“Say, you need any help at all? I could help pick it up if you like…” She mentions which Katou-san shook his head. “Nope! I can handle it, besides I’m a strong bear so this should be easy.” He stated as preparing to lift up the tree.

Which as if he done it before, Katou-san picked up the tree with both hands which all of us stood back in shock or amazed. “Whooa, he really pick up the tree – he is like a strong man!” Inoue-chan commented as then Norman-san look really excited. “Oh damn! He must of ate spinach his whole life or maybe he has a gem in his belly button that gives him all this strength!” He spoke as being surprise by this.

Despite his short size, he was able to walk away and bring he tree somewhere else so to not disturb the crime scene and get us into the fire exit but as we were about to suddenly the door burst open and out came…

Kimura Tomoe, who rush out in a panic as she was breathing heavily and looked scared – I also notice her hair seem to be pulled out which she look to us.

“He-Hey, what happen?! Where’s mom – is she okay! I-Is she-!”

As asking us these questions we… went really silent which the girl look to see where her mother and our teacher went which then her attention was towards the burn body.

“Th-That… That has to be a dream, ri-right? Th-This can’t be for real… ri-right?”

As she spoke, she stepped over to the remains of her mother as she stumbles over as she fell to her knees as if Hamoponi had allow it, the girl began to sob as she held onto the burn remains of her…

We… became silent, I think it was best to let her have a moment of composure as hours went by, which of course Kimura-san stop sobbing which then she slowly got up as she turns to us visibly angry with tears in her eyes.

“Wh-Who…Which one of you sick bastards killed my mom?!” She spoke in a cold tone as then Ohta-san step forward. “We’re trying to figure that out, Tomoe-chan but don’t worry… will find out who killed her.” She stated which Kimura-san stare at her then nodded. “I… see, then let’s go.” She commented as she left which the others look at her.

Something tells me that Kimura-san is going to explain what happen in the trial and how she got there but seems like now our victim is Kimura Kimika.

Which if that’s the case… Mrs. Kimura, we won’t fail you!

As then we return to the trial ground, with Kimura-san in tow and now we can ask what happen to her.

Hamoponi: Right then, so now we know that Tomoe-san is safe, we can continue on with the class trial…

Kobayashi Eito: True but first, I think… will need Tomoe-san’s account?

Kimura Tomoe: You… need my account?

Esumi Masa: Yes, it’s to find out who your mother’s killer is and will need your account of the situation.

Kimura Tomoe: Ri-Right, if… if it’s to find out who killed her but… I’m not sure she be happy with me, honestly…

Inoue Sunako: Huh? Why not?

Okamoto Fuji: Awful things… like what?

Kimura Tomoe: We-Well, this morning when I woke up from my hang over I… got a note, a note that Eito-kun gave to me which he wanted to tell me something so I decided after I clean myself up, I head downstairs and rush over to the greenhouse like he asked but when I got there… he was nowhere to be found, and then… mom show up…

Flashback of Tomoe

I just recall looking around and wondering where he was since he told me to meet up with him, but I… I didn’t expect mom to appear…

Kimura Kimika: Tomoe, what are you doing here?!

Kimura Tomoe: Mom? What in the world are you doing here – I thought you were sleeping or something…

Kimura Kimika: I was outside helping Masa-san find her journal but you seem to rush over to the Greenhouse for some reason, now c’mon – let’s go back and-.

Kimura Tomoe: Because I was waiting for Eito-kun, he… told me he would be here and I came here to see what he wanted to say.

Kimura Kimika: Really? A boy? Look, we can worry about that but right now, we need to leave right now!

She grab my hand but… I didn’t want to leave.

Kimura Tomoe: And why the hell should I listen to you?! Hell how about you go help Masa-chan or something – like a teacher should or are you just doing this as my dead beat mom?

Kimura Kimika: Are you we seriously starting this? Look, I don’t think you should be here – I really don’t have time to argue with you right now!

As then I look to notice… mom had a knife with her which I realize, she was going to hurt something… hurt Eito-kun.

Kimura Tomoe: Why… Why do you have that? Are you…, Are you planning to ruin my life?

Kimura Kimika: Wh-What? No of course not, I just brought it with me to protect you and-…

Kimura Tomoe: Protect me from what?! Look, you’re not making a whole lot of damn sense you senile women! Why protect me now when you didn’t do that all those other times or hell, why even bother with me! Hell – I am not surprise you only took up being a teacher just to be around me, you creepy old bat! Or maybe here’s a better idea… How about you get out of my damn life already since you weren’t around, bet it be easy for you, huh?

Kimura Kimika: Tomoe, I just… I just wanted to-.

As then, I notice my mom was… looking at something then, she rush over as then I heard a gunshot, she… she protected me.

Kimura Tomoe: M-Mom, oh my god! Mom!

Kimura Kimika: Lo-Look, w-we need to get you out of here!

Before I could say anything suddenly fire started to appear as panic came which as then my mom… rush over to the fire exit and push me inside really forcefully which I was seeing darkness as she close the door.

Kimura Tomoe: M-Mom, what the hell?! What is happening! I-!

I had bang on the door and try to open but I just… couldn’t get it open, but then I heard more gun shots which then I ran to the fire exit but as then I try to get it open but it wouldn’t move, I was stuck in there as then I return back to the fire exit as I try to cry for help but after that I… stop…

Back to Present…

Kimura Tomoe: That’s… all I remember from it, which I… didn’t say many nice things, I… I couldn’t even apologize to her or even thank her, she just… push me in, I… I was just ungrateful to her.

Kobayashi Eito: That… I can see why you would say that, I’m… so sorry Tomoe-san.

Inoue Sunako: Yeah, it must be tough losing a parent, huh?

Kimura Tomoe: …I lost my dad when I was five and now… my mom is gone too, she… probably hates me, I’m not even sure if I can defend her or deserve to…

Kimura-san…

Hayashi Ryoko: Do you think she hates you…?

Kimura Tomoe: Huh? But I… I say those awful things? I think it makes sense she would hate me, wouldn’t it…?

Hayashi Ryoko: I can understand that but even then, from her actions alone she still wanted you to survive and despite your complaints; she cares for you as her own… If anything, I think it tells me that much.

Kimura Tomoe: …You think so?

It still seems like she isn’t fully convinced about it, maybe… showing her this would help.

Okamoto Fuji: > Benjiro’s Hearing, I got it!

Okamoto Fuji: Abiko-san, can you mention what Mrs. Kimura was feeling during that time?

Kimura Tomoe: Huh? Oh, right I… do remember you mention of hearing the dead, then… what was she feeling?

How she felt which despite the pain she felt in her head and heart, I think… she was relieved that you were safe, that your safety matter most which now thinking on it… she didn’t care if she died or not, as long as you were safe then that’s all that matter to her in the end.

Kimura Tomoe: She… she really felt that way about me, despite all the times I insulted her… the times I call her out, the times I… oh mommy, I’m… I’m so terribly sorry, I just…

As then Kimura-san started to rub her eye, she looks to be crying again which then she spoke up as she shook her head.

Kimura Tomoe: I’ll… think of ways to get forgiveness but right now, we have to find the killer, correct? Then I’ll do just that… mom, if you’re watching over me; I will help find the killer in this trial! I won’t let your death be in vain!

Hamasaki Hana: Then with that sorted then Kimura-san since you mention the door, was block that means the culprit couldn’t get in the room you were in and you can’t get out… correct?

Kimura Tomoe: Yep, no one passed me or even open the door – I was trap inside… then did the killer have to use another exit?

Esumi Masa: Then the killer couldn’t have use the enterance or the fire exit then… what else did they use?

So then, the killer use another exit of some kind, what could that be…? We need to figure out what it is!

So there had to be another way for the culprit to escape but how did they do it…?

Katou Doi: Actually, seems our culprit might have used some form of rope to get up to the window!

Okamoto Fuji: I think it was also to cause a fire, likely they grab matches from the general store and use that to commit the fire since it was high enough.

Hamasaki Hana: Yep! So meaning that counting they could stand on the ledge as not only an escape but also to start a fire.

Kobayashi Eito: Yeah I guess that could be another reason! But… what reason would they need to do that? I mean fire seems a bit excessive, don’t you think?

Kita Jobon: Well there is one reason, I actually did check over the body and notice what the killer was doing… it was to hide how the person died…

Mori Miwa: Oh my, seems Jobon-kun is taking up the case~! Really manly if you ask me!

Kita Jobon: In any case – the killer hid how Mrs. Kimura died which I find impressive from a killing standpoint.

Abiko Benjiro: Not exactly – we can count Eito-kun, Tomoe-san, Miwa-san, Norman-san and Rai-san off the list since they were, quite intoxicated.

That’s right, we can count those guys off the list then but that leaves us with three because…

Inoue Sunako: Yep, I was even warn by Mrs. Kimura to not drink the punch too! Which the people that didn’t drink much was Mrs. Kimura, Hoshiko-chan, Ryoko-chan, Jobon-kun and Benjiro-kun.

Hamasaki Hana: Yep, I did remember getting a bit tipsy but I was still able to help bring people back but still, why the hell did someone drug the punch when a kid was in the room?

Mori Miwa: I assume it was due to some mess up prank but now thinking on it… I think that person might have use it for a moment of weakness! I mean that’s all I got from this.

As then I rush over and spoke to Hamoponi. “Look, can you call everyone to come here and tell them that there’s a body here!” I stated which the horse mascot look at the body then at me with a nod.

“Very well, now wait for a moment and will see who’s left and burn…” He stated as he disappears which then I walk over to Masa-san who didn’t seem too happy about this but then turn around. “You… promise me there wouldn’t be a dead body and look what happen… I…” She spoke which I look to the burn body.

I then notice that Hana-san seem to feel guilty about what she promises as silence was made. “Even then, we didn’t know someone would die… you remember what happen?” Hana-san had asked which Masa-san hugged herself. “I…” as she try to speak, Nakahara-san walk back as checking over the area which he shook his head.

“Seems there is no electronics or any phones that cause the fire but… I do smell gas.” He stated which I turn to him. “Wait, gas? Then… someone cause the fire on the greenhouse?” I asked which Nakahara-san gave a nod, as then I started to think…

So someone must of done this on purpose but who…? Who would want to start a fire and who is the burn person? Well we can cross off myself, Masa-san, Hana-san, Nakahara-san and Inoue-chan off the list but if so then…

As then I notice the others arrive; Kobayashi-san, Hanlon-san and Inoue-chan came in and seem shock by the body. Mori-san and Katou-san gave a scream as of course they weren’t expecting it at all. Kita-san, Hayashi-san, Ohta-san and Abiko-san didn’t give much of a reaction but still you can tell they were terrified.

However, I notice… someone was missing which then I counted over those that were with us then I asked.

“Wait… where’s Kimura-san?” I asked which Kobayashi-san look around. “Wait, your right she… isn’t here, hey did anyone check her room?” He asked which Ohta-san shook her head. “I knock on her door about announcements but she didn’t answer at all.” She mentions which then I turn to Hamoponi who stood in front of the others.

“Well, seeing as most of you are here… seems one of you killed whoever this person is.” He pointed out which as then Hanlon-san notice something which he pick it up. “Hey, what’s this? This… looks to be Masa’s Journal.” He stated which cause the others to look at Masa who look around. “…. Yes, that’s my journal but I was looking for it but I-.” “Then… doesn’t that make her a suspect?” As Masa-san was explaining herself suddenly our attention turns to Kita-san spoke up.

Masa-san was pretty confused by that statement but… his logic wasn’t wrong but still, something was weird as then I spoke up. “Wait a moment, What makes you assume it’s Masa-san?" I asked as it did seem the journalist was going to defend herself as Kita-san pointed out. “But her journal was left behind, that… seems really odd, wouldn’t you think?” He asked which Hayashi-san look to the body.

“Then… should we kick her out? I mean, counting she did murder Tomoe-san.” She stated which then Inoue-chan step up. “Wait, why are you assuming it’s Tomoe-chan?! It could be Mrs. Kimura for all we know!” She stated which as then arguing started happening.

“But even then – who else could of done it?” “But the body couldn’t be Mr. Kimura – I mean who would kill our teacher?!” “Then it can’t be Tomoe-chan either, right?”

As then I was trying to figure out a way to calm the others, I notice Hana-san and Nakahara-san look to me of what to do while Masa-san just staring at the body seeming out of it did… something happen? I’ll worry about that later but right now I need to calm them as best as I can. “Hold on a second, aren’t we jumping at each others throat, shouldn’t we-?” As I was about to ask suddenly a voice appear.

“STOP!”

Our attention to the one person that spoke up which I was surprise he say anything – it was Katou-san who… did seem nervous at first but then spoke up. “Look, arguing with ourselves is not going to help us figure out who did it so let’s investigate.” He declared as the others were surprise by this change but then Kobayashi-san sighed as he crossed his arms – clearly not happy.

“Investigate? But… where the hell do we start with this?” He asked as he look at Katou-san who was thinking. “Well, why not try what we did last time… I think we should investigate and figure out what happen!” He punches his hand as it seems like he was motivating the others which then Masa-san got up as she looks at everyone with a determined look.

“He is right, I think it be best to do an investigation…” She stated as suddenly as tipping her hat, seeming to question about it. “Lucky for you, I do know how to start an investigation.” She stated which then Kobayashi-san look at her. “Wh-What? Why are you suddenly being helpful – you are aware you’re a suspect in all this, right?” She asked which Masa-san look at her with a cold stare.

It seems that this woman had change almost instantly as she walk over as placing a hand on his shoulder. “You… don’t appear to trust me, hm? Then how about in trial, I prove to you all of my innocent.” She stated which Inoue-chan seem surprise. “Prove… your innocent?” She asked which Masa-san nodded as looking at the child.

“Yes – I know you all suspect me for this but even then, what reason would I have to kill the victim? Hell, I could point to any of you for the same reason, right?” She started to question as then turning to those in the room. “Anything is possible so… why not we investigate and try to prove our innocent in trial and if I’m the culprit as you claim then I’ll leave quietly…” She explained which I couldn’t be more impressed by Masa-san.

As then Mori-san sighed as she crosses her arms. “Hmph – very well, if you’re going to prove your innocent then we better start to collect evidence.” She spoke, as then the tension was on but it seems everyone else look to be heading off with the exception of myself, Hana-san, Inoue-chan, Katou-san, Hayashi-san, Abiko-san and Masa-san were around the body.

As then Masa-san approach me. “So then, shall we start to investigate and figure out what’s going on?” She asked which I gave a nod.

So seems that we have to figure out if Masa-san was the culprit or not and… who was the victim in this case.

I’ll… be sure to figure it out with everyone!

Investigation Time!

As then I notice that Masa-san open her journal but notice something. “Huh? That’s… odd what happen to my journal?” She asked, seeming surprise by this then I look at her. “Hey – what happen?” Inoue-chan spoke as she look to notice that Masa-san’s journal had a page missing. “Seems someone rip a page out of my journal…” She stated which then Hana-san was in a thinking pose.

“Then… did someone rip that page which if so, wonder what they wrote?” Hana-san asked which I remember – my pen, it was missing for some time and came back this morning. “Actually I think they might have use my pen.” I brought up which the three of them look at me with a nod.

As then Masa-san gave a nod. “Then seems like the culprit is trying to make you and me the suspect, Fuji-san.” She told me which that… seems to be the case.

‘Masa’s ripped journal’ has been added to memory.

As trying to recall but my head still hurt, I turn to Masa-san, Hana-san and Inoue-chan for answers. “Say, I… don’t recall much of what happen but can you guys tell me what happen last night?” I asked which Inoue-chan tilted her head to the side.

“Last night… Oh, you mean at the party?” She asked as I nodded then Inoue-chan thought it over as she try to recall the events that happen last night which then she snapped her finger and remember.

“Well I was going to get punch but then Mrs. Kimura told me that I shouldn’t drink so instead I watch… Seems everyone was really drunk or tipsy and well, we brought those that were drunk back to there room – I was helping Kuma-kun out since he was the only one I could carry and return him to bed.” She explained which then she try to remember. “Oh that’s right, I did notice that the only ones that weren’t drunk aside from us three were Mrs. Kimura, Hoshiko-chan, Ryoko-chan, Jobon-kun and Benjiro-kun!” She stated which I started to think.

Guess will need to speak with those three later…

As then I turn to Hana-san and Masa-san which they answer the question I had in mind. “I recall looking out the window but I turn to see everyone was drunk however as I was helping people return to there rooms, I did notice Jobon-kun’s rifle, Norman-kun’s whip and Ryoko-san’s knife were missing – I figure that those three have taken it but when I went to the hospital for sleep, I notice Jobon-kun and Ryoko-san were heading back to the ski lodge.” She mentions as she tip her hat to think.

“Then this morning I notice my journal was gone which I went to see Mrs. Kimura who was setting up glasses which we went to search.” She stated then looked really scared. “Then we recall seeing Tomoe-san leave the lodge, Mrs. Kimura went back which she grab a knife and we follow her which then Mrs. Kimura went inside and told me to wait outside but then I saw smokes moments later and I ran.” She stated which well

“I see, well for me I was watching the others however I did notice that Norman-san put the weapons away somewhere so no one can grab it – I think I recall asking him about it and he say that it’s for protection he only told a few people about the location aside from me…” She stated as then she continues on as trying to recall.

“Also, this morning - when I woke up; I notice Masa-san had ask Mrs. Kimura to help search for her journal which she ask me to wait for the others to wake up, actually I notice Tomoe-san come down and grab a glass but then she left and never came back then I went to the bathroom for a moment and ask Rai-san to stand by and wait for the others to wake up.” She stated which that she gave a shrug to her alibi thinking it wasn’t as useful.

So, it seems that we got quite a few things to work on and from the sounds of it, looks like Tomoe-chan left early in the morning but

Seems like we got a lot of accounts to work on, as then I went over to the body of the victim as I notice the person in question were even burn so we can’t tell who it is but then Inoue-chan walk around and kneel down to get a closer. “Hey check it out… seems our victim look to be holding something.” Inoue-chan had carefully pull the items out which look to be a written note of some kind and what looks to be strands of pink hair.

As then Masa-san took the note as she began to look it over. “Telling from the note and even how it’s rip… this person clearly was in a hurry and even the writing looks pretty messy.” She commented as then Hana-san look it over. “Um… let’s see what’s written.” She then began to read it out loud or as best as she could.

‘Kimura

Hey, I wanted to speak with you about somethings if you don’t mind, but can you come to the greenhouse this morning so we can speak of some personal matters? It’s something I want to tell you for the longest time ever since I met you… so please come.

Kobayashi Eito.’

As then Hana-san look confused. “So… is this person Mrs. Kimura but from the looks of the note.” She commented as Masa-san shook her head. “Seems likely but if you look at the note – seems a part of it got rip off so the body might not be Mrs. Kimura…” She stated as she thought it over.

“So… could that person be Kimura-san?” I asked which Inoue-chan look around. “I mean, she didn’t appear at all so very likely and looks like Eito-kun wrote it?” She stated which then I nodded.

Seems that is the case but… we better ask Kobayashi-san about this.

As then I turn my attention to Kita-san who look at the body which he shook his head. “Seems this person doesn’t have a very good aim or is an amateur…” He stated which I blinked. “Huh, what aim?” I asked which then Kita-san pointed to certain parts of the body which look to have punctures in the skin. “Even if a body is burn you can tell there are wounds and seems our culprit likely use the fire as a cover up.” He stated.

“So our culprit burn down the greenhouse just to cover up how the person died…?” I asked which Masa-san shook her head. “No… I think this person might have had a personal reason for do it, wanting to make the person suffer; so the aim was personal.” She stated which I look at her.

So the person did not like whoever the victim is…

As then I figure I ask this if Kita-san isn’t too busy. “Say Kita-san, what were you doing last night?” I asked him which then he look at me then frown. “Well after carrying those that were intoxicated – me and Ryoko-san decided to return back to the ski lodge but when we were about to I notice my rifle and Norman-san’s whip look to be missing.” He try to recall last night but then shook his head. “But seems the next morning, my gun was back.” He commented.

So our culprit had grab the weapons during a moment of weakness…

As then I look over at Hayashi-san who pick up a knife which she look up at an open window. “Hey, what are you looking at?” Inoue-chan asked as Hayashi-san blinked then look at us.

“I just notice a part of the iron pole up there isn’t blacked out, the window is open here that a person can use for escape – there’s even a tree that can be use to climb down however… I notice a blood shape handprint of there left hand on the wall.” She stated which then Masa-san cross her arms to think.

“I see… then our culprit likely use that as an exit since I would of notice them escape if they use the door, correct?” She asked which Hayashi-san nodded. “Most likely but seems our culprit might have got hurt during a struggle and suffer a wound.” She stated.

So seems our culprit had a wound on there left hand but a problem most of everyone is wearing gloves…

As then I turn my attention towards Hayashi-san and smile. “Thanks, actually can I ask what happen last night? Kita-san mention that you 2 return back to the lodge…” I asked her which she thought it over. “Well last night I grabbed my knife from where Eito-san place it but I notice Jobon-san’s rifle and Hanlon-san’s whip were gone… however the next morning, when I woke up I got a knock at my door which when I open it was Mrs. Kimura, she look to be in a panic so she ask if she can borrow my knife and well…” She paused as I notice there’s blood on the knife.

I guess Mrs. Kimura must have wanted that knife for protection…

I then notice Abiko-san look to be busy, I guess it’s best to leave him be as then I made my way over to the burn tree that was in front of the fire exit as I notice Katou-san looking at it. “hey, what’s wrong?” I asked which he gave a sigh then look to me.

“Seems like this tree is still on fire despite the emergency fire alarm had been pulled… seems we got to wait for this to cool down but I do hear muffled screaming from there but it stops.” He mentions which I was a bit worried. “So someone is in there?” I asked wondering what happen then we decided to go outside. “Maybe… something is blocking the fire exit? We better go look.” Katou-san mention as the five of us left.

As going outside heading to the fire exit but as heading there Hana-san took notice of some paper by the tree along with gas container which she walks over to grab. “Hey, um… I think I found what started the fire and a bit of a newspaper, say Masa-san? Is this yours?” She asked which the journalist walk over as she looks it over but she blinked and recognize it. “Nope, it’s my dad’s… but seems the story here,” She spoke as then Masa began to read it.

’August 17th, 1997

A large scandal was made that resulted in a couple of fortune tellers, being called scammers and even many believe they were at fault for the ships crash which they predicted would have a safe travel which the wife who was a former Hope’s Peak student by the name of Kimura Kimika, who’s husband had passed away and sue the couple for this.

The pair committed suicide due to not handling the idea that there fortune telling was wrong and could not handle the scandal anymore after that event, which their child had discover the bodies and reported to police the child seem to only mutter revenge which they are by the name of-.’

As then the paper stops there which we all look at each other. “Huh, seems… to be a paper of sorts but looks our culprit might have had it.” Inoue-chan pointed out as she look to notice the tree was by the window.

So then… our culprit had this so meaning likely they had a reason to commit this crime…

‘Newpaper ripped story’ has been added to memory.

‘Gas for Fire’ has been added to memory.

‘Tree as an escape’ has been added to memory.

As then we continue on our way to the fire exit which I notice was a small walkway but as we walk over to it, I stop to notice Norman-san, Ohta-san and Kobayashi-san was there already but then I notice… the door knob was broken off.

“What happen to the door?” I asked which Kobayashi-san look to be with a frown. “I’m not sure but when I went to check, seems the door knob is broken and I try to get in but looks like our culprit might have destroy the fire exit.” He mentions which Norman-san blinked. “Huh? Wonder what for?” Which Katou-san put his arms behind his back. “I heard screaming when I check the fire exit so someone is in there.” He stated which cause the 3 people to look worried.

As then, Ohta-san cross her arm to think. “I guess… our culprit must have wanted to trap someone in there.” She pointed out which that does appear to be the case…

I then turn my attention towards Ohta-san who was looking at the fire exit. “Seems like the fire exit looks like it has some holes in it that can still bring in air…” She commented as she pointed to them. “Then… seems that whoever is trap in there still has some room to breath?” Hana-san asked which Ohta-san nodded.

I guess that person might be safe for now…

“Looks like it, still I hope that person is okay, say I notice there was a tree in the greenhouse that got knock over – shouldn’t we remove it?” She asked which Katou-san seem a bit down. “I would honestly done but it’s still on fire… we might have to ask Hamoponi if I can leave to get rid of it.” He stated which cause everyone to look at him with shock.

Which then he notices us looking at him but then he flexed. “Keep in mind that I’ve worn costumes at a pretty young age, they are quite heavy so lifting the tree will be super easy!” He explained to the rest of us which Ohta-san look a bit confused. “So during the trial, your going to ask if you can remove it…?” She asked which Katou-san nodded. “Yeah, maybe during a trial break I could suggest it.” The mascot says as looking pumped.

That… would be extremely helpful.

As then I went over and approach Kobayashi-san which I show the note. “Hey excuse me but, did you write this?” Masa-san asked which the boy seem confused. “Huh? That thing… nope, never seen it before actually! Also, that isn’t my hand writing…” He stated which then Masa-san rip one piece of paper from her journal and gave him a pen. “Then can show us?” She asked which he shrugged as he started to write which he gave it to Masa-san.

We look at the 2 sheets of paper… the hand writing seems quite different so meaning that someone else wrote the paper that the victim was holding then…

As then I turn my attention towards Norman-san. “Pardon me Norman-kun, but remember when I ask about last night regarding the weapons?” Hana-san had asked which the Ringmaster seem surprise. “Oh, that? Well the ones I told were Eito, Ryoko, Jobon, Rai, Tomoe, that bitch Miwa, lovely Ryoko and Hoshiko.” He recalls which Masa-san nodded.

“You told those nine?” She asked which Norman-san nodded. “Well yes, I did since Ryoko, Jobon and Rai brought weapons and the others were the ones to help set up the party – I even remember getting drinks with Hoshiko and Tomoe as well.” He brought up.

As then I started to think. “I see, I think we were told that Jobon-kun’s gun and your whip we’re missing.” Inoue-chan pointed out which Norman-san seem really confused. “Wait, what? That’s odd, I must have forgot about it since when I woke up this morning… it was near my door where I usually place, I thought it brought it with me, maybe someone brought it back, I did recall drinking quite a bit last night.” He stated as looking pretty confused.

Seems that Norman-san doesn’t have much memory what happen last night but still… that’s important…

As then we made our way out of the forest as then Katou-san tilted his head. “I’ll try to remove that tree if I can, I’m worry for that person trap in there…” He stated which I nodded. “Good idea, good luck with that…” I told him as Katou-san took his leave as then Hana-san thought of something.

“Actually, counting that we saw the blood handprint – likely the culprit got into a struggle and has an injury.” The surfer mention which Masa-san nodded. “That is true, I think that might be the case, so let’s go to the hospital and find anything.” She pointed out as Hana-san, Inoue-chan and Masa-san took there leave which I thought it over.

So this culprit likely had a struggle with the victim…

As then I follow after the three which we found our way into the hospital which I took notice that Mori-san notice. “Oh hey, great time – I actually want to show you guys something…” She commented as she gesture to follow her which as we walk down a hallway which we came across a room that look to have various medicines, bandages and various things to take care of serious wounds if over the counter medicines don’t work.

Which then she open the door which when we walk in I notice the drawer for the bandages had some blood on it which made me wonder… did the killer try to clean up there wound?

As then Mori-san cross her arms as a bit disgusted. “I’m not sure but I think our killer might have suffer a hand injury and I notice that at the doorknob, there was blood on it too…” She told us which Hana-san seem confused. “Wait so – that hand that got attack was their dominant hand? I… actually notice it was on the left hand.” She commented which Mori-san shrugged.

“Well, there are people that tend to use their left hand more then there right or even both – like for example, I tend to use my left hand for writing if asking~.” She stated which then I started to think…

So our culprit might have try to clean up there hand injury and seem to use it as there dominant hand…

‘Bloody left hand’ has been updated to memory.

As then I turn my attention to Mori-san who look to notice me looking at her. “This… whole thing is weird.” She stated which Inoue-chan tilted her head. “What was weird?” She asked which Mori-san look at her. “Well this morning when we got the announcement which when I was leaving my room, I notice that both Kimura’s rooms were unlock which when me and Hoshiko-chan were heading downstairs as the others were leaving, I notice she was waiting for me to grab the door knob…” She stated which I look at her.

“She was waiting for you to open the door?” I asked which Mori-san nodded. “Yeah, I just ask and she say that she wanted to wait for me to finish up my hangover drink which, I did notice she wasn’t drinking anything, but I thought for sure we didn’t have any alcohol… I knew that disgusting pervert was planning something!” She scowls as she crosses her arms which Hana-san notice.

“Wait… are you saying that no one is going to bring alcohol?” She asked a bit alarmed by this which Mori-san nodded.

“Well yes, I mean we have a child attending the party – that be pretty reckless but I guess someone brought it along as a prank…” She told us which Inoue-chan look surprise. “Wait, you think that maybe someone intentionally drugged all of you… so that’s why Mrs. Kimura told me to not drink the punch!”

So then… someone must have drugged the punch at the party with the purpose to confuse us.

‘Miwa’s Account’ has been added to memory.

As then the four of left and decide to return to the greenhouse which then we approach Abiko-san who look to be done. “I see your done, so what was the victim saying?” Hana-san had asked the Ghost Whisperer which he seem a bit confused.

“Well for one, it sounds like a woman but I couldn’t tell who but she… felt pain in the head and heart, but from the sounds of it she seems relieved…” He pointed out which then he thought over as he continues. “She mentions… she was glad that she was safe and died instantly, seems like she didn’t see who killed her so I guess the weapon was something with long range.” He pointed out which Masa-san nodded. “So that means the culprit must of use Jobon’s rifle then.” She brought up which I thought it over.

Then our culprit likely killed from somewhere that they can’t be seen…

‘Benjiro’s hearing’ has been added to memory.

Before we could get more questions the announcement plan which I look at the screen to see Hamoponi. “Right then, I’ve waited long enough – time for you all to see if you can defend yourself!” He spoke up which the screen turns off which Inoue-chan look shock. “Wa-Wait, but we still haven’t collected enough!” She stated with worry which Masa-san shook her head. “No, I think we’ve… collected enough information in the trial but right now, we better see if you can defend my innocence in all this…” She told us which I look to the ground.

I… still wasn’t sure if Masa-san is the culprit, I mean is she the culprit could I… trust her?

As then I notice Masa-san look at me with a straight face. “I sense you don’t trust me, hm? Well here’s a question… do you think I committed the crime?” She asked which Hana-san and Inoue-chan seem surprise which I stare at her which I… wasn’t sure how to answer her question I mean, we didn’t know Masa-san that well…

However, things don’t add up and even then… why would Masa-san kill anyone then I shook my head. “I… don’t think so, I mean counting you survive a killing game and the fact you told us about the fire; the culprit wouldn’t do that.” I stated which then Masa-san smiled. “I see, well then I’ll trust you based on that… anyway, let’s go.” She stated as we took our leave which those of us left to return to the lodge.

As we made our way inside, I still notice Kimura-san wasn’t there which then Kita-san frowned. “So we still don’t know who the victim is, correct?” He asked which Hayashi-san nodded. “Seems to be the case, but… I’m sure will figure it out who it is.” She stated which then Hamoponi appear.

“So you all collected evidence and try to piece together what happen, correct? Then let’s get this trial underway but I guess I would need to explain the trial to Esumi.” He brought up which Masa-san sighed. “Well it could help if things are run differently then Monokuma… but it would help but now, let’s get this trial underway.” She spoke as when the fireplace open, she was the first to walk in which the others seem pretty unsure.

Katou-san look at her with a confused look. “I guess she is determined to prove her innocence in this, guess… will see how this goes.” He stated as he walk in as well – seem the 2 were ready for the trial but the others…

I got a strange feeling that they didn’t want to do this which Ohta-san shook her head. “Then… let’s be on our way.” She spoke as she walks in as well which the others did to which Inoue-chan look at me. “I… really don’t want to say Masa-chan did it but I don’t want to accuse the others either, but I guess if someone did kill, I have to wonder what the reason was… I mean Tomohiro-kun’s motive was understandable but from what I got with this one… feels personal, the culprit might of done it,” She spoked which Hana-san nodded.

“Seems like it – will need to figure out the victim first…” She stated which I nodded as then the three of us walk in as we came to the same trial ground as we stood at our stations except for Masa-san who look around.

“Excuse me but… where do I stand?” She asked which Hamoponi thought it over. “For this… I think maybe you can use Ishikawa’s stand if you wish.” He stated which with that she walks over and look around…

As then, we all were prepare to figure out what happen… did Masa-san really commit this crime or did one of us kill this person…

We… have no idea who the victim is but will figure out who it is… in this class trial!

After the conflict was over and the defense mode was off, I could finally breath…

It was over at last, now we can finally rest… We made our way outside as seeing the sun rise in the morning which means a new day and new beginning if anything but…

I notice there was a helicopter which after the trio of Future Foundation members place brought Haku over to the helicopter as Masa-san look over at them with a smile on her face. “Well, at least they capture Haku at last…” She spoke with certainty.

“Yeah, I’m… still surprise that he was the cause he made us kill each other and everything.” I commented which Tomoe-chan tilted her head to the side. “So then, what do you think they’ll do with Haku?” which was a question we all which then Mayumi-san walk over.

It seems the girl was conflicted as she crosses her arms. “Well, the higher ups are thinking of what to do, but I think counting he was force into doing the killing game; he might get arrested at best since that was the Ultimate Despairs fault for him to turn up like this…” She spoke which I frown for a bit.

I… still think that is getting off too easy, counting most of our classmates had died or had to leave due to him.

“As long as he’s away from here, I just think it be better if you ask me…” Doi-san spoke, as he clearly did not want him being here as then Reiji-san walk over as thinking it over as did Yoshi-san had his arms cross. “Well if anything, I think you guys did a really damn good job; hey I never got to look over this area but… wouldn’t this place work as a safe haven?” Yoshi-san had asked as he look around the area.

Which Masa-san look to him with a slight smile. “It could, I mean if we fix it up a bit you could make it work, don’t you think?” She asked as giving the young man a nudge as he laughed a bit which he places his arm around Masa-san’s shoulder. “Heh, still the same humor - eh Masa-san?” He suggested

I guess Masa-san seems happy that she’s back with her friends again which then Mayumi-san began to ponder. “Actually, thinking back when we got here… I notice you guys seem to know who we are, counting we had or memory of Hope’s Peak remove, how did you do that?” She asked as the other 2 looks to us - clearly wanting an explanation as Haiiro-san step up as pulling out the memory gun.

“Well, we had this - the memory gun is able to bring back or remove memory, it’s a gadget I have done myself.” He told the green hair archer which Reiji-san nodded. “I see then, can we have it? I think it’ll be pretty useful to Future Foundation.” He spoke as Haiiro-san handed the gun over to him which he then explained the instructions to the fencer.

Masa-san pulled her hat down as she sighed. “Still, regarding your suggestion; I… think that wouldn’t be half bad of an idea.” The journalist pointed out to the DJ who seem excited. “Re-really? Damn, that be awesome but uh… counting would the owner be okay with us using this place as a safe haven?” He asked which Miwa-san stepped forward as she smiled.

“Well counting I am the current owner, I allow it - actually if anyone is suffering from the tragedy, we can offer them a home here until things have calm down.” She suggested which Mayumi-san gave a big smile. “Then it’s decided, say Masa-san - want to come with us?” She asked which the Journalist seem surprise.

She began to look around then Reiji-san walk over as Haiiro-san walk next to me. “I think the higher ups do need someone to explain the situation here.” He explains which after some pondering over she nodded. “Alright then, I’ll head back with you guys but what about you six, think you can handle this place?” She asked which as then Sunako-chan walk over as she looks to the four of them.

“I… think so, there’s still a lot of work to do but I think with Hamoponi’s help and maybe Future Foundation’s as well, will have this place be a true safe haven.” She promised which Masa-san smiled as giving a nod. “I see then I’m sure you six can handle it, then… I hope for the best for you all.” She spoke as giving a smile.

The trio from Future Foundation and Masa-san walk towards the helicopter, which after a few moments I waved a good bye to them as it took off as did everyone else, they all say their goodbyes.

After the helicopter gave a sigh of relief but something crosses my mind as I turn to Sunako-chan and Haiiro-san. “Hey actually before we start, I was wondering… what happen to my older brother?” I asked as even then I was still unsure about his status which the 2 look at each other then spoke.

“Oh right, well don’t worry I did contact him before I got my memory wipe by Haku I did inform him that he should stay at my home in Towa City for a while until things have settle.” She explained which I couldn’t help but still be worried. “So he’s fine?” I asked which Haiiro-san nodded. “Yep, he is and maybe will ask Future Foundation to pick him if they can…” He suggested which I was relieved a bit but I still had my doubts.

As then Doi-san look to the ground then at us. “Um, hey - should we bury Fuji-chan and Hana-chan?” He asked which Miwa-san gave a nod. “I… believe we should, will bury them, probably get some sleep then we can start work tomorrow.” She suggested which Tomoe-chan nodded.

“Alright then, cause honestly… I’m really tired, I mean I had done all nighters before but I think some sleep would do us some good.” She commented as I could tell from her tone she really wanted to sleep then Doi-san clapped his paws together. “Then it’s decided, let’s go!” He declared

Which then Miwa-san, Doi-san, Haiiro-san and Tomoe-chan went on ahead which as I follow, I took notice that Sunako-chan look to the ground. “I… still have to wonder about my former friends, I wonder how they are?” She asked - clearly, she was asking herself which I walk over and kneel down.

“Well, I’m sure whatever they are - we can try and save them too, I mean… we just got to hope we can, right?” I asked which she look to me then smiled a bit. “I… guess your right, I can’t help but still feel bad but… I feel we have a chance to survive and do the right thing, besides I think both Hana-chan and Big sis Fuji would want that so… let’s do our best by honoring their memories.” She spoke as she ran after the group which I got up.

I took one last look at the sky then gave a slight smile. “Hisao… I really hope we find you; I mean… that’s all I can do, right?” I asked which I snickered a bit.

“Man, I… really do sound cliché huh? Well I guess being cliché isn’t so bad, anyway - I better get going so… watch over us; Fuji-san and Hana-san.” I say as I made my way to the others.

We face our memories and decided to head towards a future…

Chapter 5 – The Despair of Dying – Daily Life part 1

“Nanami… show us the location.”

A young man by the name of Munakata Kyosuke order the older man, Nanami Tenmei as he gave a nod. “Right away sir…” he say as typing in on the computer as then after a while of waiting the screen show a location…

The Shizen Resort, …

As they got a closer look to the location with a nod – Kyosuke turn towards Tenmei. “Thank you, you can leave now.” He orders which with that he simply left which then co-founder of Future Foundation gave a stern look as then he turns to look at those in the room…

Kazuo Tengan, the Founder of Future Foundation.

Takakuwa Momoko, the recent head of the 13th division which was in charge of Front-line Food and Resource Distribution.

Ikeru Hansuke, lead of the creation of the Hacking Gun – A invention he made that could bypass the Monokumas and works in the 7th Division and 4th Division due to his expertise.

Along with 3 that work under him in the 2nd division; Tamon Mayumi the Ultimate Archer, Oku Yoshi the Ultimate DJ and Kabuto Reiji the Ultimate Fencer.

They all had gather in the room as to speak of a serious matter…

“So is this were the distress call came from and you mention that it was the Ultimate Journalist, Esumi Masa?” Kyosuke had ask the question to Hansuke who gave a nod as typing in showing a screen of the map out location. “It looks to be the case, the last we saw of her was that she was in a rocket along with Haku Isamu, the Ultimate Debater.” He explained as the co-founder gave a nod.

As then Momoko look at the screen. “Counting how she was speaking; it sounds like it’s a sense of urgency. Say how long will it take to get there?” She asked as turning to the Founder of Future Foundation which he began to ponder that question. “Given the location and how long with other matters, it’ll take at least 3 to 4 days at most.” He answered which Kyosuke turn to him with a nod.

“Then will get a helicopter ready and-.” “Actually sir, maybe it be wise for us three to go?” Kyosuke turn his attention to the Oku Yoshi who spoke up. “You sure? Keep in mind we have no idea of the situation at the Shizen resort, you think you can handle yourselves?” He asked which the Former DJ gave a nod as crossing his arms.

Clearly the guy seems confident in this as he spoke. “Dude, we’ve fought those Monokumas, even knowing a way to counter them – I mean the doc even prepare weapons for us to dish out damage.” He told him which he eyed Hansuke which the man shook his head as he wish the young man would address Kyosuke a bit more properly.

As then Mayumi step forward as speaking. “Plus I think Masa-chan would recognize us pretty quickly compare to the rest of you, which if anything goes wrong – we can inform you all so I think it be wise to send a few instead of a whole army.” She explain as Kazuo started to ponder this idea.

“Well, counting we have no idea what to expect or if those at that resort would require our help I suppose sending you three into that location.” He commented as then the Kabuto Reiji looking up at the screen which Yoshi took notice of.

“Heh, you really glad she isn’t dead, huh?” He asked which the fencer look at him then smiled a bit. “Well counting what we told Yokoyoko-san and Kojikoji-san were pretty close to preparing a funeral for her, but I guess you can I… really can’t wait to see her again and take down Haku.” He stated which it seems Kyosuke look to them as any concern he had vanish.

“Very well, will let you three take care of this matter – you won’t have much to work with but it’s snowy so prepare yourselves – Ikeru, get there weapons ready and will get our men to work.” He order as Ikeru, Tamon, Oku and Kabuto gave a salute to Kyosuke as the 4 left the room.

Sadly however a worry look was on Momoko’s face. “Say um, what are you planning to do if Haku is caught?” She asked which the 2 men turn to her. “Ah right, you mention he was the mastermind in your killing game by force, correct?” Kyosuke asked which she gave a nod.

“While yes he was forcing us to kill each other but it seems he was place in that position by the Remnants of Despair – you… aren’t going to kill him, are you?” She asked as the 2 men look at each other then back to Momoko.

“I think it be best if we capture him for now, then will deal with a punishment later…” Kazuo spoke as even he wasn’t sure what to expect.

As then silence fill the room until Momoko got out of her seat as she left the room, knowing she has work to do.

I had woken up the next morning, doing my usual routine and then headed straight downstairs, which when I went into the dining room, I look at those remaining…

Only nine of us left, there is only nine that I’ve counted and of course Hana-san took notice of me. “Hey, mornin’.” She greeted me which as I walk in as Katou-san place some dishes on the table like he usually did which he looks at the rest of us.

“So then… I guess we got quite a bit to talk about, huh?” The mascot had ask as the rest of us look at each other.

Not sure where to start I decided to pop a question. “So then, what did you discover in that forest?” I asked Masa-san which she thought it over. “Well aside from the Radio Tower, a cabin and from what we know yesterday is a mine shaft full of dangerous weapons.” She mentions as then Katou-san raise his paw up as wanting to speak.

“Actually there is something else I discover, there was a rocket I found.” He informed which I did recall seeing that rocket as well which everyone turn to him with shock expression. “Wait, there’s a rocket?!” Rai-kun spoke as surprise to learn this information as then he look to us. “You got show us this location right away.” He declared as pointing to Katou-san which he thought it over.

“Well I can try to do that, maybe we can go at night and see if it’s safe to go in.” He mention as then the Electrical Engineer seem pumped about as then Miwa-san step forward. “Well then if that’s the case, I’ll mark it on the map…” She told us.

As then she pulls out a map as then writing down ‘radio tower’, ‘cabin’, ‘mine shaft with weapons’ and ‘Rocket’.

It was still odd to picture Miwa-san was the resort owner as the others look over the map. “So you had this in your room?” Eito-san had ask as the figure skater look at him with a nod. “Indeed, I had to check over every area and see what had change and the only area I haven’t look over is the last one which I plan to check into today.” She informed us which I guess since she’s the owner she would be allow access to all areas which then she cross her arms.

“Now with that in mind, there is something I wish to ask Masa-chan…” She say as she turn her head towards the Journalist. “Now we know there’s a rocket, are you certain that Haku might be in there?” She asked as Masa-san gave a nod. “Yep, in fact before he landed he push me into an escape pod and since then I had no idea where he is…” She told everyone which of course Inoue-chan huffed.

Clearly she wasn’t too impressed with that response. “Well at least it’ll make searching for him easier since he is likely using that place to sleep in, but even then, could he have a defense of sorts? I mean you mention he was the mastermind in your killing game, right?” I asked as Masa-san nodded.

“Hm yes and with that in mind, Rai-san – you got it ready?” She asked as Rai-kun thought it over as then he spoke. “Well yes and no. I just need to place in a few more bugs than we can test it out.” He say as then Masa gave a nod as then Kimura-san seem worried. “Still we got a good set up and seems we are all prepare for everything but there is one thing I’m curious about…” She mention as everyone look to her.

I get a feeling it is something important. “What is it, Kimura-san?” I asked which she thought it over. “Well, it’s about Hamoponi’s creator – I mean we still have no idea who it is or even Haiiro – does anyone have a good idea?” She asked which we all look at each other which I guess is true.

We still had no clue about that as then I took notice Masa-san thought it over. “Well, actually me, Rai-san and Hana-san actually did discover who they were.” She mentions which everyone looks to her which I then notice Rai-kun had a serious expression and Hana-san seem pretty sheepish about the whole thing.

“Ye-yeah, the thing is we know who it is and well… we figure we try and get them to talk but even then I’m not sure if we can force them but I’ll say one thing… it is one of us.” She told us which we look to each other.

It seems that we know for sure that Hamoponi’s creator and Haiiro is one of us which I step forward. “Then why hasn’t that person spoken yet?” I asked which Rai-kun spoke. “Because that person got there memories wiped…” He stated which I notice, he seem to be speaking normally as Inoue-chan tilted her head to the side.

“Man, more stuff we have no clue but you’re saying their memories got wiped?” She asked as he gave a nod. “Yep, in fact a few days ago myself, Fuji-chan, Eito-san, Doi-san and Sunako-chan found this room and discover a gun was use… likely by Haku, so if I had to guess – we need to find him since the memory piece is missing.” He mentions which we look to each other.

As then Miwa-san step forward. “Then seems we got a plan from the sounds of it; will explore the new area, Doi-kun and Rai-kun will check out the rocket tonight for any traps, then will storm the rocket and get that piece back… Is that the plan?” She asked as going over what to do which Eito-san punch his fist into his palm.

“Yep, maybe we can grab some weapons from the mineshaft as well, y’know to defend ourselves?” He suggested which Kimura-san nodded. “Well okay, I mean – I’m not much of a fighter sadly, I think I fit behind a screen more as a navigator~.” She spoke as if speaking about a game she was playing.

As then Masa-san place her hand on her hip with confidence as looking us over. “Well, seems we got a plan now let’s start exploring the new area.” As then everyone left however, I notice person had stay behind.

Inoue-chan seem… unsure about all this.

“Hey, what’s wrong?” I asked which the purple haired girl seem surprise. “Huh? Oh um… it’s nothing too major but something about bringing memories back, I just don’t know about that.” She admitted which I was surprise she say that.

It seem as if she didn’t want to as then I look at those that left then back at her. “Why not? I mean, we know we got to get our memories and figure out what’s going on; like how the world got that bad.” I told her which she nodded. “I… get that but, why should we? Maybe I just don’t like the idea of remembering stuff and prefer the here and now, not what happen in the past so… maybe forgetting is better, y’know?” She asked as then she took her leave.

Something was bothering Inoue-chan I could tell which however I walk over. “Inoue-chan, how about later tonight, we can talk… okay?” I asked as she seem surprise. “Oh, you want to talk… about what?” She stated as I thought it over. “Well maybe if you can come into my room, we can talk if you want…” I suggested which she still seemed nervous but gave a nod.

“Okay then, I’ll come to your room tonight!” She declared as she rushes out of the room – seeming very excited.

Which as such I took my leave to the new area…

When I arrive, I saw the entire didn’t look as prepare or still work in progress; the whole place had buildings unfinish and I even notice a pool that wasn’t done yet…

The first person I notice that was looking over at the area was Miwa-san who seem to scan the area as she looks to me. “This entire place was just a forest so I guess Hamoponi’s creator wanted to make more but stop production from the looks of it…” She told me which I could see a few things what the buildings could be.

“Well we got more living arrangements, a park for kids, a pool and even a mall it seems or I think so – I can’t tell.” I commented as Miwa-san nodded. “Yep, so I guess whoever Hamoponi’s creator was likely had more plan out but they stop for some reason.” She mentions clearly not impressed.

As then I nodded. “Well counting those Future Foundation guys are going to appear, maybe they could try and start production again under your watch; Miss. Mori~.” I say in a joking matter which the figurer skater looks to me with a slight chuckle. “I swear that humor of yours is getting better it seems, I guess you don’t seem as stiff as you were back then.” She commented.

I guess it is true but yet again… you did as well, Miwa-san…

As then I went on my way down to the new location, I decided to head to the living arrangement which I notice Eito-san and Rai-kun there already as checking over the place as then Eito-san walk out as he looks back at it.

“Seems like the place isn’t livable at all – the room still needs to be reference, fix up and maybe add a few beds in then it’ll totally be complete.” He stated which Rai-kun huffed in annoyance. “It doesn’t even have any electricity or a cable either but I’m sure I can make it work!” He declared.

Glad to see one of us had decided to keep working on this despite the set back… I’m happy…

As then I look around the area; it seems that the place was getting build on and likely would of store more people from the looks of it but seems that the creation was stop half way or maybe Hamoponi’s creator stop for some reason…

As then I left the area and headed to the park which looks like Inoue-chan was there, she look at the park with a curious look. “Well, seems whoever made this must of figure kids would be living here but I wonder what happen…” She commented but then went silent herself.

“Inoue-chan, are you okay…?” I asked simply as she look to me. “Well, I’m… not sure honestly, just that there is a lot going on, sorry…” She stated, I think maybe it’s best to leave her be…

But still, the park itself is pretty nice and I could see little kids running around and playing on various toys, there’s even a pair of swings, seesaws, slides and what looks to be a sandbox too. I mean I never really play much in parks but she would like this place I’m sure…

As then I decided to take my leave and headed for the next place… the mall? I wasn’t very sure what it as then I walk over which then I notice Kimura-san, Katou-san and Masa-san there already.

As then Kimura-san began to look at the building with surprise. “I feel this place would have been fun to be in but sadly it’s unfinish…” She commented as I gave a nod crossing my arms. “I guess this person was trying to make something here but still, I think it’s safe to say that Hamoponi’s creator did want to make a safe haven…” I mention.

As of course Katou-san lifted his paw up. “If that’s the case then Hamoponi must be a good guy and once those Future Foundation guys arrive, will show them this and they can bring in help!” He declared which I nodded with a smile however…

Masa-san kept staring at the building. “The question is however, why did they stop? What made them stop? I have no clue why they did but seems like they stop for some reason…” She pointed out which I couldn’t help but agree…

One has to question what was the creator of Hamoponi’s plan was, why they stop production at this point…

I thought it over as then I took my leave of the unfinish building as then I made my way to the last area which was the pool which of course; Hana-san was there which she look at the place which she look at the pool. “I’m… surprise that the pool is clean still, I figure it would be all gross and not clean.” She commented as then Hamoponi appear as he huffed.

He clearly did not like that comment. “How dare you! I keep this pool clean and even if this place isn’t complete, I still have standards!” he spoke as pointing to us which then he sighed as then he look to me which he handed me a bag. “Also here, for the 2 trails we had since I didn’t have a chance to give to you.” He spoke as then he disappears which I look in the bag which contain coins.

Hana-san eyed me. “You seem… weirdly more relax then normal, huh?” She asked as I blinked. “Really? Well I guess counting Future Foundation is coming and we can get this Haku guy – I think that could be why I don’t feel as stiff.” I say in a joke.

However, I did notice that Hana-san seem… really unsure. “Huh, Hana-san – are you okay?” I asked which she look to me surprise. “Um, yeah… maybe once we get that piece Rai-san needs then I’ll tell you.” She spoke.

I then nodded as then I check over the pool as that despite being unfinish I took notice there was a shower room, a tarp of sorts and various pool toys to play in.

After that I had check over the whole area… seems we got quite a bit cover which after that I decided that I would refer back to the lodge for the day.

As I made my way back to the lodge, I did notice it was getting late which then I walk over as I walk inside as sitting myself down.

As then moments later, everyone else came back inside as then Miwa-san spoke. “Well I’ll say this about the area; it’s brand new and likely Hamoponi’s creator must of made it but stop for some reason.” She spoke which Rai-kun nodded. “Yep, there is no cable, it’s incomplete and none of the bedding was in either.” He commented as thinking over.

Which as Eito-san nodded to the Electrical Engineer statement as then Kimura-san spoke up. “We went to the mall or… I think it is and seems that it’s incomplete.” She mentions which Katou-san thought that over. “So we can take it that there were more person that were going to live here instead of the sixteen of us but they stop.” “Most likely if I had to guess, so meaning that Hamoponi’s creator either wanted to finish but couldn’t or they didn’t want to finish.” Masa-san brought up.

As then Inoue-chan look down for a moment as then she spoke. “There’s also a park which still seems usable but I’m not sure that is helpful…” She commented which I frown, I mean at least it’s something. Then Hana-san spoke up. “Well there’s a pool, it’s pretty clean – it has a shower, various equipment but that’s not much to go on, huh?” She asked.

Something was up with these 2…

As then Miwa-san gave a nod. “Right then, so we got quite a bit cover for the first day, now I think our next plan is trying to speak into Haku’s rocket, right?” She spoke which then I realize something. “Hold on, before we do I just realize… he’s been there for quite some time then, you think it could be possible he set up bombs and traps in that area?” I suggested which the others look at me.

I guess they never consider that. “Oh right, counting there’s bombs as well – I get a strange feeling that he could set them up at the Radio Tower.” Masa-san stated which as she got up. “Okay I think will need to check the radio tower and any buildings for bombs as well.” She brought up which then Katou-san nodded. “Then I think after we check the rocket, will go check out the buildings for bombs – right?” He asked which Kimura-san nodded. “I’ll try and take care of those.” She mentions as Eito-san look a bit nervous. “You think you can handle that?” He asked as being concern which she give a light smile. “Well, I know what to do about that since I did took care of a bomb before so it should be easy~.” She stated which Eito-san went pale.

As then he thought it over. “I guess… I’ll get stuff from the mineshaft and bring it to my room.” He brought up which Hana-san look to him. “Your room? Is it safe in there?” She asked which He nodded. “I mean – if anyone knows how to lockpick then it’ll be safe with me.” He comments as then Hamoponi appear which he seems to be looking over all of us.

“I had a feeling you all are planning something, what’s going on?” He asked as curious which Eito-san got up. “I plan to head into the mineshaft and grab the stuff in there which I’ll bring to my room for safe keeping, it’s mostly so we don’t have Haku plan anything.” He explained which Hamoponi thought it over then gave a nod. “If it’s to protect you all then so be it.” He agreed.

Which then Masa-san smiled a bit. “Huh, I figure you be against the idea but looks like you’ll work with us then.” She spoke as then she crossed her arms. “But doing it alone would be hard so maybe I can assist carrying them?” She asked which then she turn to Hana-san and Miwa-san.

“What about you 2, mind giving me some help?” She asked which the 2 girls look to each other then back at Masa-san. “Well alright, I’ll assist with that if it’s meant to protect you all.” She spoke as Hana-san gave a smile then nodded. “Right so I guess myself, Masa-san, Hamoponi, Miwa-san and Hana-san will help me in carrying those boxes, so thanks.” Eito-san spoke.

As then Kimura-san gave a nod. “Then I’ll be off to take care of the bombs if I find anything; Rai-kun and Doi-kun – after you check over the rocket, you’ll assist with that, right?” She asked which the 2 gave a nod which then I realize…

I didn’t have much to do from the sounds of it. “Seems like I won’t be much help sadly…” I admitted which Masa-san gave a nod. “Seems so but maybe you can watch over the place while we begin working to counter Haku.” She commented which I nodded.

As then everyone left to begin to do what they are assigned to do which meant myself and Inoue-chan were left in the lodge alone.

“So… looks like we got some time to ourselves, we can finally talk.” She stated which as then I got up. “I guess… I’ll make some hot chocolate, want any?” I ask which Inoue-chan look to me which she nodded. “I… would like that actually.” She spoke quietly as she sat down which I made my way to the kitchen as preparing some hot cocoa which I think she really needed to calm her nerves but even then…

I look to the door and decided to lock the back door if Haku tries anything, which after a while I have made the 2 mugs which I even place marshmallows into Inoue-chan as then I walk in which I notice…

Inoue-chan still didn’t seem sure as then I walk over as sitting next to her as giving her mug which she looks at what she got. “Huh, you gave me marshmellows?” “You don’t like them…?” She asked a question which I asked in return which I guess we both laugh a bit.

“Well no – I don’t hate them, honestly it’s nice… but I just, I think I’m still bother by how everyone wants to get there memories back cause… we seen how the world is outside and I can’t help but think something bad will happen if we do.” She admitted as she held onto her mug as looking down which I look to the side. “So… you fear you’ll remember something bad?” I asked which she nodded.

It… was an understandable fear to have, a fear of memories that you can’t control over or even thinking that forgetting might be the better option which then I spoke up as saying. “Sunako-chan… I… think having memories is a good thing.” I say as she look to me with shock.

“Huh? You… really think so?” She asked which I nodded. “Yep, even if there are memories you wish to forget or even ones you don’t want to recall, keep in mind there are good memories to have and even some where it keeps us going…” I stated which she seems surprise by me saying this.

I eyed the girl who sat next to me - clearly, she still seems unsure about what I say. “But, even then – I just don’t want to think much on them since… I feel like it would hurt me or make me scared.” She stated which I look to her with a sadden expression. “Y’know, my memories… are what keep me going.” I told her which she grown curious.

“Really, they do?” She asked which I nodded which then… I began my story…

“You see, my family had died in a car crash and I was considered the only survivor but… there was another.” I told her which she seems surprise. “Wait, there was another?” She asked which I nodded. “Yep, my younger sister named Hayami… or well, step sister actually – we aren’t related by blood and while we had arguments and fights, I still got along with her and protected her.” I told her which she was curious about this.

I guess she grown interested in the story. “You… seem to care about her but why protect?” She asked which I look to the ground. “kids kept on picking on her for quite a few reasons; from her being in an orphanage, for what career she wanted to be and… many things people didn’t agree with, but it didn’t matter to me… she was my younger sister and that’s all that matter.” I told her which she seems surprise by this which then she frowns. “You really do care for her but what happen to her?” She asked which I frowned as I close my eyes.

“She got into a coma, I’ve been told by my aunt and uncle that she might never wake up or even get out of her coma but I can’t believe that which they told me if I raise funds for the hospital to cure her then maybe there’s a chance so… I started to brainstorm until I came up with an idea; speeches.” I say with a smile which Sunako-chan seem surprise.

As she does, she started to think it over. “So… it’s how you gain your Ultimate talent, you gain it because of your memories of Hayami… I think she be really proud of you if anything.” She spoke as she drink her mug of hot chocolate which I smile which I look to the fire place. “Heh, maybe – I can’t speak for the dead but… I think that having memories are important and should be remember… wouldn’t you agree?” I asked her which she still didn’t seem sure.

Which then she smiled a bit. “I’ll… think about it but even then, are you… worry she’s dead out there?” Sunako-chan which I gripped my mug as trying to keep my composure. “I… could only hope she’s alive because… she really is the only thing keeping me alive.” I stated which she froze.

“Really…” She spoke as then she looks away. “So… would I count too?” She asked which I thought it over then smile. “Yeah, I believe so! I mean, I… care for everyone here, I want nothing bad to happen.” I told her which she went quiet which she nodded. “I see… well, I think the others do see that actually.” She spoke as she got up as finishing up the remains of her hot chocolate which she places the cup on the table.

“I still do fear my past and other stuff but, maybe I… shouldn’t run away from them, I think maybe I could try that.” She stated as then she headed upstairs which she looks at me. “Goodnight then…” I spoke but as I was finishing up my cup.

I… really hope Sunako-chan takes everything I say to heart… I really would-.

As then I pause as I turn to a window, strange I… thought I saw someone in there, who… was that?

I shook my head as then I grab the 2 cups as I gone to the kitchen… I need to get ready for tomorrow anyway.
