It's Christmas Eve, so here's my take on the holidays at the Varia:

It is a week long (24-31) celebration that starts with a feast where everyone contributes with their traditional dishes. People in the Varia come from all over the world, and usually there is a team-up of people from the same places gathering to cook togheter, no matter the units they are assigned to.

And I HC Lussuria as being from Emilia-Romagna, where tortellini in brodo are a must.

She forces has the other guardians helping her in making them from scratch.

The process lasts basically the entire Eve:

Lussuria does the filling and broth alone ("Oh honeys, I can't have you possibly screw that up!!") and makes pasta dough with the help of squalo.

Levi and Squalo make the pasta sheets. Levi only turns the crank of the machine ("VOOII!! You're not touching any food, with those dirty hands"), while Squalo minds the pasta. Lussuria is forever sad that she cannot make the pasta sheet herself with only the rolling pin, the traditional way. Unfortunately the dough is way too much and she's not as skilled as her mother was.

Lastly, Bel (and later Fran too) make the actual tortellini (under strict supervision). They are the ones with the smaller hands, after all.

Lastly, Xanxus does actually nothing for the tortellini, but he does buy the wine for everyone for the entire celebration. Crlebration which does last a week and requires enormous amounts of alcohol to keep 100+ people drunk and entertained. This means that not only it takes like 3 months to organise all the purchases and shipping of booze, but also that there are around Italy at least 4 winemakers that rely on Xanxus and the Varia to survive and sell ¾ of their yearly production in one go.

Also, since Xanxus has become is the best boss they can all ask for, he prepares the first drink for anyone that asks during the Eve's aperitivo. He's actually a very good bartender.

The party goes on for one week straight, with basically everyone drunk out of their minds. The most memorable things that happen are usually actually completely forgotten, at most only some photos survive.

Usually there is also at least one dead, but no one ever minds it too much. They probably deserved it.

Then the new year begins with the hard task of sobering up. The hangover officially lasts until Befana.

Many swear not to drink ever again ever in their life, only to do the exact same the next year.

I’ve smutted it up several times before for KHR and will never fail to love doing so! I chose to do the Varia for this nice and easy prompt here and hope ya’ll will enjoy the headcanons!

Xanxus

Xanxus is a very passionate lover. He leaves you no confusion on how much he wants and craves you sexually.

That being said, while he does normally try to make his lover cum because of his own pride in his sexual prowess, Xanxus can be a really selfish lover in a lot of ways. He’s not going to indulge your kinks unless he’s into them, he’s going to put you in the positions that feel best for him and appeal to him most and he’s going at the speed and depth that feel best for him. He’ll still find ways to get you off, but sex is always going to be a ‘his needs and wants first’ kind of deal, as anything else in his life is.

Squalo

Squalo is the most loyal lover out of Varia. He would never, ever cheat on a sexual partner, no matter if it was just a purely sexual relationship.

However, I hope you’re pretty okay with the rest of the Varia and any neighbours you have knowing you’re getting laid and when because this man is not going to hold himself back. While he won’t be as loud as he normally is, he’s definitely not super quiet during sex and he really does have a tendency to talk dirty during sex. And he delights in making you be as loud as he can make you be, partly because he likes making you lose your cool enough to just surrender to the pleasure he gives you and let loose and half because he gets really, really turned on by having you return his dirty talk and in all the delicious sounds you make.

Levi A. Than

Levi will do anything you want him to do sexually. He is so eager to please a lover and is almost slavishly devoted to their pleasure. He appreciates it when his lover lets him cum but he’s also going to be okay if they refuse to make him cum until he’s given them everything they could possibly want and need sexually in that particular moment.

That being said, he is enthusiastic but inexperienced. He doesn’t have a lot of stamina when he does get to be inside of his partner and doesn’t really know how to please you right off the bat and will need to be taught and guided through it.

Lussuria

Lussuria has an insane amount of stamina and a relatively short refractory period and he can and has had sex all night, with little breaks in between.

However, he does have that nasty necrophiliac tendency.

Bel

Bel is a really kinky lover. He’s pretty willing to try anything his partner wants him to as far as kinks go, though he’ll make them wait until he’s in the mood for that exact kink and he’ll likely help his lovers push their own sexual boundaries and learn more about what they do and don’t enjoy.

However, sex with Bel can be…dangerous, I’d like to say. He’s very into knife and blood play and fucking him is very much an interplay of sex and violence, even without the knives. He will choke his partners until they almost pass out. If they’re having sex in the bath, he wouldn’t be above pushing their head underwater for a second before letting them back up to breath. He’d like biting them…he’s always very conscious of where his partner’s physical limits are and won’t push past them to avoid any serious injuries, but he will need that freedom to cause minor injuries or to get violent within those limits.

Mammon

Mammon is very willing to indulge their partner’s sexual fantasies, either in reality or through using illusions on them. Mammon encourages their partner to be honest about their fantasies, no matter how odd those fantasies are, and won’t actually judge.

That being said, Mammon will be the one to suggest, rather often, that their partner create an Only Fans and will expect a 70% cut of the profits for helping them with content creation on it.

Varia Bedroom Headcanons

I gotta be fully honest, accidentally put all my energy into Mammon's room lol. I tried to spread the love, I did, but how I imagine a lot of their rooms can be summed up quickly. Meanwhile, Viper's has layers lol.

Viper/Mammon

Viper’s room is painted in dark indigos and deep violets, making it look really dim. Also making it look dim is the fact they only keep about three lamps in there in total and all the tapestries on the walls and ceiling. Most of these tapestries are old items from the others. A stitched up blanket Squalo had once ripped in frustration, old curtains Lussuria tried to toss out because he didn’t like them anymore, and other items of categories like that. In fact, that’s how they get a lot of their furniture. Wobbly coffee tables fixed via putting a book under it, an electric fan that only works half the time, and stuff like that. There’s a chest at the foot of their bed full of old uniforms and clothes. Bel’s old uniform from when he was a kid? They have that. Some clothes Lussuria planned to donate to a thrift store? Mammon’s got them tucked away. They might have a bit of a hoarding problem… But that’s something to be addressed another time!

They have the second biggest bed in the Varia base, the number one spot obviously belonging to Xanxus. It’s a canopy bed, only adding to the things that hang down in their room. The bed is also pressed right up against a wall that has a window seat that they’ve added more cushions and pillows to. They mostly sleep on said window seat, mostly using their bed as glorified storage space for things like books and their money. The bed is also home to their copious amounts of blankets, yet again, mostly ones they’ve stolen from the others or ones they’ve put back together.

The crowning jewel of their room though simply must be all their books and trinkets. If a shelf isn’t stuffed full of books and reading materials, it’s lined with little things they’ve found. Almost every surface in the room has trinket trays that hold a cacophony of things. Little metal thread spools, cheap rings, cool rocks, and more. You can find just about anything in their room! In fact, it’s practically guaranteed if you lose something small in the Varia base that it’ll end up in their room. Good luck getting it back though, they don’t like others getting into their room.

TYl/Future Arc Fran

Fran actually keeps a lot of the things from Mammon’s room there still. He lessens how many blankets he uses, removes a lot of the tapestries, and little changes like that. But the most he adds to the room are little things like posters or his own odd decor and trinkets he finds. 

Belphegor

So! In canon, he’s ranked the second in having the messiest room, so ignoring the mess that’ll be there! I feel his room is, rather stereotypically for him, painted in a deep red. He doesn’t have much in terms of furniture outside of his bed, a desk, a tv, and an armchair. He does however have a ton of posters and pictures on his walls. Bands he’s listened to once, tv shows he’s never fully finished, pictures of missions he liked, and more. Though, the set of photos he likes the most and that he has hidden in a corner of his room under a poster are photos of him and the rest of the Varia. He finds it too cheesy to admit to any of them how much he likes the pictures, hence the hiding.

One of his odder decor pieces is a dart board that he uses for knife practice when he’s bored. The wall around it has holes from said practice that he claims are intentional. Whether that’s the truth or not, no one knows as he never uses it when there’s someone else in the room. 

He does have some fairy lights in his room, but he doesn’t use them often. 1. Because he yet again doesn’t want the others to know about them. 2. Because I personally headcanon as having a sensitivity to light for various reasons. Maybe him and his brother throwing rocks at each other’s heads as kids wasn’t the best idea… But that’s a health problem to be handled later!

Lussuria

(For pronoun clarification, I use all pronouns for Lussuria lol) His room is the definition of cozy and warm. Lots of warm colors that aren’t too bright, sun shaped wall decor, lots of mirrors. I imagine her room either has multiple windows or one big one, either way, it gets a lot of natural light. They also have a lot of potted plants like succulents, an assortment of fresh herbs, different flowers, and some ivy. Lussuria also has a collection of soft things, normally those plush things you can microwave to help with muscle aches. They help her a lot after training sessions or missions when she can’t use too much Sun flames.

Levi A Than

I’ll be fully honest, I have very few headcanons for Levi’s room. He’s a hard character to decorate for. However!! I feel like his room would be green, but like a dark and dull green. And obviously, he has a Xanxus shrine/a lot of photos of him on one of his walls. Also we know in canon he has and uses 116 alarm clocks apparently. So I can only imagine he has enough surface space to match. So either, a lot of tables or they’re set up all around his room and even on some shelves. Outside of that, he really just feels like the type of guy to keep his room rather plain.

Squalo Superbia

Much like the others, I feel like Squalo’s room color matches his flames. However, it’s far more of a grey-blue than a bright blue like Rain flames. He also feels like the kind of guy to keep things simple. A desk with a chair, some framed photos, rather average bedding, and such. The stand out feature of his room is his giant fish tank that takes up a good chunk of the room. Whether he simply has multiple fish or some mini sharks, they’re painfully spoiled for aquatic pets. Only the best for his babies! This also means in his room there’s always the faint sound of his tank’s filter.

Xanxus

And finally, the darling boss’ room! Breaking the trend of his subordinates, I feel like his room is a dark color like a deep grey or black. And, as mentioned in Viper/Mammon’s section, his bed is the biggest. I feel like he keeps his room rather simple, but not plain. Fancy style dressers, stylized shelves, and things like that. Things you’d expect to see from someone given not only his personality, but also given the fact he was raised to be Vongola Decimo. Plus, look at the dramatic chairs he has in canon. His other furniture simply has to match.

The year 2023 has finally come to a close, and with it the art challenge where I draw every Varia member during their birthday month! I thought I should close off with pictures of them past present and future!

I want to thank everyone, whether you were here the whole time, were here intermittently, just for your faves, or even just for the tail end, the support was greatly appreciated! This year had the biggest amount of art I've ever made and unsurprisingly was a massive undertaking, just counting the challenge month drawings it's 5 short of 250!

2024 isn't going to be like that at all, but, I sure as hell am not going anywhere! I'm definitely going to still be drawing and writing and while I don't know what the future holds, but let's all move into it together!

What would happen if Lussuria and Levi babysat all of the kids?

Lussuria definitely has the most patience, and he doesn't really lose his cool, so the kids don't antagonize him like they do Levi. Luss also dotes on them and plies them with treats. Lambo, Fran, Bluebell and Nosaru take great delight in driving Levi crazy, and if they don't cause him to try and fry them all with electricity, they consider the babysitting a failure. Futa, I-Pin and Daisy usually don't cause any trouble, unless they get roped in the antics of the others.

Luss will do hair and makeup with the girls, and Levi can usually be persuaded to play video games or soccer with the boys. Once in a while Lambo or Nosaru land themselves a room confinement or a solid smacking.

By the end of the babysitting Levi and Luss will kick back with a bottle of wine to decompress.

I used prompt 10 from Day 11 of the event, tickling for the Varia. This was a fun one to think about and I hope you’ll all enjoy what I’ve come up with, my lovelies!

To tickle my muse

Xanxus

Xanxus is not ticklish, honestly. Like, not in the least bit ticklish. Someone could try to tickle him in any way they could possibly try and they won’t get the slightest laugh, giggle, nothing out of him…well, not in response to the tickling. They would get a reaction for touching him though and it would be a violent one. Please don’t try to tickle him, for your own safety.

Now, Xanxus will never set out to tickle someone. He just doesn’t see the point of it. He’s not purposefully going to try to tickle someone, even his partner. If he figures out that his partner or a close friend is really ticklish, he’s not going to even think about taking advantage of it. It’s just not something that will occur to him.

When he does figure out there are certain ticklish spots on a lover, he actually tries to avoid light touches over that area because having them laugh or giggle while he’s trying to touch them (which normally occurs during sex) will actually kind of piss him on in a way.

Squalo

Squalo gets pins and needles and occasionally a tingling, ticklish sensation in his missing hand. It’s not an entirely pleasant feeling but not always painful either, just weird.

Other than that, I think the tips of his ears and the soles of his feet are actually pretty ticklish. However, people don’t often actually touch those parts of his body so it’s going to take a lot for people to actually discover his ticklish spots. Even if they did, Squalo’s really good at controlling his reflexes and he’s going to draw on every bit of control he has to present an angry face instead of a laughing one.

Now, much like Xanxus, Squalo isn’t going out of his way to tickle people. He sees it as rather childish to do so and it’s not something he’s really setting out to do. However, in some lighter hearted moments with a partner he’s been with for a long time, if he knows they’re ticklish, he might actually take advantage of that fact if they’re arguing to defuse and win the argument.

Belphegor

Belphegor is insanely ticklish along his lower belly and his sides. He just hates people touching his princely self, so it’s not a secret that most people would know. Rasiel used to torture Bel by tickling him, so Bel actually really hates people tickling him, even if it’s well-intentioned. He can and will stab anyone who does succeed in tickling him, even if it is non-lethally.

However, Belphegor insanely enjoys tickling other people. He will definitely take advantage of anyone’s ticklish spots. It’s not making them happy and smiling and laughing that he enjoys. No, this boy is more than a little sadistic and he enjoys tickling until the person is squirming, crying, and begging for him to stop.

Tickling is a unique form of torture and one that, like most other forms of torture, Bel really enjoys.

Lussuria

Lussuria isn’t really ticklish at all. He kind of wishes he was because he thinks it’s really adorable when people are ticklish but there’s never been anything that invokes that feeling in him. The closest he gets are the obvious pins and needles when limbs fall asleep and the prickly, pleasant tingling sensation he gets during scalp massages.

However, as mentioned, he finds it adorable when people are ticklish and he’s definitely going to light-heartedly tickle friends, family, anyone he feels close to. He doesn’t even care if it might put him into the hospital.

He definitely does that ‘here comes the tickle monster <3’ bit before he sets to work tickling someone and he’s really good about stopping when it seems like the tickling is starting to hurt instead of feeling good. Tickling is fun for him, not torture (unlike some of his other Varia members).

Levi A Than

Levi is actually insanely ticklish – his sides, his feet, behind his knees, and in his armpits. Like so very, very ticklish to the point where he has to wear an undershirt underneath a button down shirt or sweaters because the scratchy fabrics against his skin will cause tickling sensations.

He really, REALLY hates being tickled though. It makes him so upset no matter who does it. His precious boss could tickle him (though Xanxus would never) or he could get a lover who is his whole world and they could tickle him, and he’d still be pissed off about it. He dislikes the tickling sensation, it’s not at all pleasant to him and he would actually have one of his few boundaries around that.

That being said, he doesn’t mind tickling other people, especially if he feels he can use tickling to ‘win’ something or have some kind of advantage over another person.

♡ Misc. Varia Headcanons ✧ 1 of 2

✧ Belphegor is fascinated by the dentist office kid's toy. He thinks its an absurd little contraption, but he really enjoyed something akin to mouse trap as a child and the structure of moving blocks and balls reminds him of that silly little game. It's where he began training his brain to set up traps. He would have also been a Lego kid and enjoys a good 3D puzzle. Unfortunately for him, he also had a very traumatizing childhood and is not the best at tuning in to and soothing his inner child, so you won't necessarily find him building a little miniature saw trap for fun.

Speaking of the dentist office, he built up a very meticulous routine with his dental health and adheres to it pretty well, despite being fairly lazy with everything else. It's just a part of his morning and evening routine, so he doesn't think much of it at this point in his life. Compared to the rules and to-dos that he had growing up, this is the most lax living situation he could be in.

✧ Lussuria is a notorious shower singer, it's like he has whole entire pop concerts in there. He will go through Lady Gaga's entire discography if nobody stopped him. He may not always have time for it, but hell, he will make time because there is nothing better for him than a little Sunday reset everything shower. He has a similar routine prior to missions as well.. gotta look and feel his best for his fabulous job, clearly.

He's an enigma for how packed his schedule is and how he has time to do so much. He has missions to complete, physical training and conditioning, so much paperwork to fill out, and is actually in charge of a lot of the Varia "onboarding", if that makes sense. Part of it is because he does see them as a family and wants everyone to be welcomed appropriately to the team. A lot of the underlings really like Luss for that reason, he's the most warm and welcoming, as odd as he can be. A number of Varia members don't even get to see their boss in the flesh, mostly hearing about him.. or hearing his outbursts and being too scared to approach and find out what happened this time... as a result, many are most familiar with Luss and Squalo as the representative leadership.

✧ Levi loves a good affogato, and would rather die than let the word get around that he likes ice cream in his coffee. He does not like black coffee at all, and sometimes is secretly, on the inside, extremely displeased when that is all they have available. He's got too much of a tough guy exterior to keep up to bring it up, though.

He uses a ton of alarm clocks to wake himself up, and it's fine until they are working from outside of their usual base and the walls are any less soundproof than the ones at their mansion. He's a heavy sleeper, and he falls asleep fast. Like, flop down into bed and start snoring within 90 seconds type of fast.

Y'all is it so obvious that I'm so work-brained right now.. why am I thinking about Varia onboarding procedures... I love Luss so much can you tell. I was going to continue with the other members but I got sleepy... gn xx
