Ancap is plagued with purpose. He is production, the future, a forward momentum of desire then fulfillment and then desire again. An endless excess of want and greed.
Sometimes, however, he comes close to simply being. It’s always with Ancom. Ancom, who makes him pay for the batting cages, the drinks, the drugs, the food. Ancom, who somehow always beats him in rhythm games, despite him being a better dancer than they are. Ancom, who laughs with the same bohemian love of freedom, laughs guiltlessly.
And for a moment, as they look up at the blue sky together, Ancap doesn’t have to think about how he hurts. He doesn’t have to think about his next step, his purpose, or the consequences of his existence.
For a moment, Ancap can simply just, be.

BABES MORE FANART DROPPED
Hi this is a very professional memorandum about Ozymandias' art. Please put these factors into consideration for your viewing pleasure.
"Nazi chases Ancom like a trained dog." Bark bark feral. I love Nazi/dog comparisons...
Ancap kneeling before Ancom like he's going to propose. Ancap in a suit while Ancom is in a wedding dress makes it look like they're a "couple" on a wedding cake.
There are subtle lines in panel 2 already that hints at the synesthesia, which becomes so obvious in panel 3 and the way Ozymandias built that is amazing.
Even the non-canon compliants...Ancom in a mint green matches so well, Ancom looks like a little fairy!!! Nazi holding Ancom bridal style!! The doom emanating from the suitcase!!!
In conclusion, Ozymandias is an amazing artist and the bread is good today.
retail therapy fanart - chapter 2

yay the post i said id make about the blood aspect and why every vantas exudes blackness. is this a vantas only thing, or a blood bound thing? let me start by saying, you can make white or white coded characters blood bound, that's not what i'm trying to get across. it's just that blood as an aspect, when put through the lens of race specifically in america is just so fucking black.
redirecting you to the karkat specific, "why do i think he's black" thing :)

i get that the extended zodiac is kinda horoscopey, but like just a refresher on blood as a thematic element. you know how the majority of the exposition about the ancestors hinges around the signless and his civil rights movement? the fact that he tried to change alternia sets up the web of characters and reasons for them meeting in the first place.
you literally only need a rudimentary understanding of american history to know about the civil war and the civil rights movement. its not a secret that people who are oppressed form groups to protest their second class status. its also not a secret that major movement leaders get assassinated by people in power to keep that status quo, and their deaths never mark the end of their message. was hussie trying to do an mlk and malcom x parallel with the signless and summoner? LMFAO PROBABLY. that kinda just cements how inescapable race is when you're making an american centric comic.
i can end the post there lol, but here comes the question about where KANKRI fits into all of this... its tough explaining this really, if i call him one of those talented tenth believers to a black person they would just nod and be like ohh yeah... hm.
ok you know how there r some gay cis men who get away with some crazy misogyny but thinks it cancels out because they're gay? there is still something at the end of the day to be gained because they are men. it doesnt matter if they are seen as lesser than, as long as they can "pass" then they can get a spot at the leopards eating people faces party. FOR NOW. nothing that kankri says does he really mean fully. there's something to be gained by telling a woman why are you raising your voice?? when you mow them down with bullshit and they realistically get upset. he's a hardcore lib with conservative leanings.
actually speaking of, the commodification of unity. alternia's a capitalist and colonialist wheel, every instance of comradery comes in the form of quadrants, or how you serve the queen. karkat wants to be a threshecutioner and form bonds that way because he cannot think of anything different. kankri commodifies his own identity so he can be misogynistic and ablest. the signless breaks free from those preconceived boundaries, and tries to instill change to the system.
i dont rlly have a structure for all this or a note to end this on, here are some prev posts from a few days ago where i was thinking about the subject. 1 2 3

hey spot!
would you mind saying something about this freak?

https://www.tumblr.com/jujusjunk/783893972404895744/palestinians-voted-for-hamas-dont-let-that-go
it's about this post i made. i can't hold myself from going on a rant against him and i've got some shit written up about his crusty 2mm dick but i can't post it or i'll get banned. i dont want you to post anything like that just, idk what to do for these people never cease to make me gag.
(if you wanna keep this private and just reply to me and make a separate post you can or not make a post at all you also totally can, if you want to post this ask you also can, just god i can't hold myself back and i don't wanna lose this account)
Dear Juju,
I don’t debate trolls that may be Russian bots but what disgusting individual who is clearly doing this to “trigger the libs”.
Banner is the Palestinian-Jewish unity flag. Not a true believing kahanist or Zionist but a guy who chose something that will “offend both sides”. He knows RUSSIAN he says, I must ask him a question in Russian. Possible tell of a bot possible russophile. Biblical Hebrew is not a term a jew would use so it’s likely a Christian Zionist or a troll. The “Palestinian tears” bit pushes it to troll as that a common thing for American trolls to use [x] tears
ugh “[insert Gazan or Lebanese city her] is the Dresden of this war” canard. Stop comparing Palestinians to Nazis.
It’s possible Tom is the block evade of infamous Kahanist troll Ereiniion because Tom replied when Ereiniion was tagged. My other bet is Oxford Comma.
Intersting that like Oxford Comma and Stoptheantisemitism (who isn’t actually Jewish) Tom accuses anyone who disagrees with him of being fake jews but doesn’t know anything about Judaism. This is a common projection tactic among racefakers. Not denying that truly fucked up Jews exist, certain politicians, political personalities and people from my synagogue would beg to differ but I’m not even certain Tom is a Jew. But if he is is, may he be forgotten even in life.
Yours,
Cecil

(tw for fanwank)
ngl i’m feeling really doompilled about what looks like a media literacy problem but is actually a Reactive Thinking problem with the amount of people who went: kid’s a Protestor™, i’m a Protestor™, so when kid the Protestor™ is evil they’re saying I’m evil, and Protesting is evil, even though the thing he was Protesting for was morally right and he just went about it wrong. (Even though of course every single viewer also came away with that exact same conclusion because the entire episode was structured around it).
That people made this insanely strong bond with one perceived aspect of a character’s identity and motivation, that ends up with some people going ‘well was he wrong to be a terrorist?’ (to which the answer is obviously yes), and them just seeing a character through the lens of a Protestor™ Just Like Me and not immediately going, ‘oh wait he’s NOT a Protestor™ like me, he’s a Mass Murderer, I don’t claim him, but maybe I kinda claim more sympathetic Wynne who got cold feet and wasn’t really down with murder tho’ is incredibly doompilling.
“They made Protestors™ look like terrorists”, no man, they made a terrorist who (correctly) had motivations you could understand, that was it, you decided the terrorist was a Protestor™ but for most people those categories are very clear and distinct and have a hard dividing line between them which is not hurting people. The intended Protestor™ was the woman who worked for years to infiltrate and use that platform to humanise her people to the exact audience of 3 trillion watchers who needed to hear that message. You just went “Using The Tools Of Your Oppressors even against them is a thing I Disagree with and don’t think is Effective and makes you a Collaborator™ not a Protester™ in my book, and so therefore the closest one who speaks for me is the Mass Murderer”. No-one put you on the side of that line, no actual viewer thinks you’re on the side of that line, you have mental gymnastics Reactive Thought Identity-focused yourself into the logical fallacy that they’re saying you must be on the side of that line. There’s no band of people out there calling you evil, you’re just listening to other people saying that they’re saying you’re evil. Congratulations you strawmanned yourself.
“But I believe in not watching or participating in it.” Then in-universe you wouldn’t have got your head blown off, success! Wouldn’t have changed the minds of those watching, but hey didn’t get murdered either, a net neutral.
It’s acting like saying “But remember that murder in support of your goal, however noble, is a bad thing” is some fucking lib statement rather than a thing we should all believe, and that absolutely does need stating right now in a world that’s gone ‘eh maybe murdering some of the people i think are the cause for The Evils Of The World is ok’. Like no, I don’t think the kids show should be down with murder ‘so long as it’s just’, actually. I think we spent six decades building a show where the message is the exact opposite in fact. I’m a fan of it.
“Well I think the story should have been about MY preferred method of being a Protestor™ that isn’t actually being a Collaborator™ trying to appeal to their audience, and it should have been about someone trying to shut down the Interstellar Song Contest for good!” Okay, but you’re gonna have to pick a different show to do it babes, cus this is the ‘Defeating Racism And Violence And Misunderstanding Through Peaceful Means And Showing Unity Between Races And Species’ show.

my goal is for my centricide to be almost unrecognizable from the canon. it will be at the same time, most out of character and most in character portrayals you will ever see. i want it to be divorced from jreg but intimately tied to his legacy. i want to see how far i can take a fucking FANFICTION OF A WEBSERIES.
this is all to say that i respect jreg a lot and i see centricide characters as cartoon characters not as him. so when i make them fuck it’s not weird they’re action figures.

So proud of 4b feminists for taking a real stand against the patriarchy. Latina women for protecting each other from femicide. Sudanese and congolese women staying strong and united under unimaginable circumstances. Palestinian women for keeping their families together while being decimated. Women worldwide work together as a united class against men.
but radical feminists here are infiltrated with the trans hating problem which lib queers are using as their excuse to go full on anti feminist and hate women in "revenge".
liberal feminists truly believe reaching out to men and gender conformity and the porn industry are women's salvation and keep asking "what is a woman anyway? every woman is different therefore womanhood doesn't exist" and are obsessed with that one stupid fucking bell hooks bullshit quote.
feminist art historians in my work are stuck on things that happened 500 years ago, including me, because my contemporary black women artists proposal wouldn't get my projects funded.
American and UK feminism is fractured into a million pieces. we simply fundamentally lack any form of unity or solidarity which makes organizing REALLY HARD WORK

https://www.tumblr.com/traegorn/753120713946349568/i-feel-sorry-for-you-all-that-education-and-yet
https://www.tumblr.com/traegorn/754825217342406656/the-revolution-aint-coming-yes-because-of
They want the revolution to come, but with the underlying insinuation that OTHER people should die for them, while they get to reap the rewards and probably paint the dead as either martyrs for the cause, or as cowardly libs who deserved to die. Not themselves of course, because they're faaaaar too important to die.
It's the same mindset and rhetoric you'd expect from the very rich elite/cultists they claim to hate, except flavored with "progressive" and "rebel" terminology.
And that is why they fail more than they want to admit; because shockingly enough, people aren't willing to die for a bunch of self-serving jackasses who demands unity and obedience, while slandering everyone else who doesn't match up to their impossible standards that they never even apply to themselves.
I don't know if that's even right. I mean, for sure that's the attitude they'd take if a real revolution happened.
But it's far dumber than that for a lot of them.
To them "The Revolution" is a magical, almost mythical thing. They aren't even considering the real human loss. It really has weird almost religious undertones. It's a part of the black and white thinking that often comes along with it.
And this creates a lot of complications.
First off, it means they often don't take the immediate, useful actions that could actually help -- like voting -- because the candidates are "impure" (or in reality just imperfect humans).
Secondly, it makes them easy to manipulate. Black and white thinking makes people incredibly vulnerable.
The world is gritty and more complicated than these people are ready for.

2024 US Election Post-mortem
I need to get my thoughts out about the election. I'll split it into a few main parts. (This will be long) 1. Why did Kamala lose/Trump win?
There's 2 main reasons for the result.
1. The biggest thing isn't that Trump gained a lot (he did somewhat), but that Kamala lost hugely. Kamala ran an "strong" but status-quo style center-lib campaign. This was not the right move to capture the electorate in today's America. It hasn't been since 2012. People at every part of the political spectrum have expressed disdain with the way establishment Democrats have run things. People want change! They have since 2008. Obama convinced everyone that he represented change. Hillary lost in 2016 because they didn't get that change after 8 years, and wanted something new no matter what. Biden did a good job in 2020 of being somewhat of a change candidate, but it was really COVID that allowed him to win. I do think Trump would've won in 2020 if it weren't for the pandemic. Kamala had momentum at first because she literally was "change." Biden was hugely unpopular, and people didn't like the return to liberal status quo, even if he did do more than even Obama to bring (domestic) left-wing policies to the forefront imo. Kamala represented hope at first that we could get away from the Biden that everyone hated, and bring in a whole new kind of politics and movement that would take us out of the neoliberal malaise that was the again Biden. What happened in stead was the establishment decided that there was a contingent of Americans that were allergic to left-wing politics, and they need to be captured.
THIS IS THE MAIN POINT OF FAILURE FOR BOTH HILLARY AND KAMALA. I do not believe there is a (large) population that is inherently right-wing, and another that is centrist, and another that is left-wing. I do think there are some that you could never convince one way or another, but it's just impossible that so many people could vote for Obama, and then turn around for Trump if people had some sort of weird internal political compass that they adhered to regardless of policy. No, Trump (and the right more broadly) MADE his base. This is the other reason Trump won.
2. Trump did make some gains, though I believe the right campaign from Harris could've overcome that. I think the Trump gains are more indicative of what Harris lacked. Kamala tried to adjust her campaign to match an electorate. Trump didn't give a fuck. He said what he wanted, and people liked that. They don't care about decorum. They don't care about "unity". They want someone they think will "fight" for them. People saw Kamala bringing in the Cheneys and just saw another neolib that would flake on any conviction to grab a vote. People don't want a policy. People want a candidate with conviction. Trump was also adept at playing on people's fears and insecurities. He MADE them into Trump supporters by playing on those fears. Harris did not try to make Harris supporters by playing on fears (at least enough). She was best with the abortion stuff, but that wasn't the issue that exit polls showed people care about. The top issue was the economy. Yes, "the economy" is objectively doing better if you look at the stats, but people don't feel like it because prices are still high despite the buying power of the dollar recovering (inflation was reduced!). People felt that because corporations kept prices at pre-inflation reduction levels. Harris briefly flirted with price capping, which would be the exact sort of populist policy that directly addresses people's fears/insecurities and breaks from the status quo that could excite a mythical "Harris base" that maybe existed for 2 weeks.
It's the same with immigration. Trump created a "big lie" about the border being in crisis, and played on the truly hurting average middle-American's insecurities. You have a population that is hurting for corporate consolidation destroying small local business, that has been devastated by opioids, and is seeing the towns and culture they grew up with decay and seemingly leave them behind. Are Trump's policies going to uplift them? Hell no! Does he talk to specifically them all and directly address their insecurities though? Absolutely. In stead of addressing these people (these are the ones on the red arrow map that's been going around), she accepted the lie about immigrants and rejected making any radical policy change from the system that threw middle America under the bus.
I should say I am literally living in a small rural city in a deep-red state, so I know what they're saying. These people aren't necessarily bigots. Some are, but I think most think they aren't. I think anyone can be prone to getting caught up in a hate movement if the right buttons are pressed, and Trump deftly presses those buttons. What needed to happen was pressing the right buttons to address their insecurities and fears that doesn't rely on hate and scapegoating. This is what I think Bernie Sanders does well in general polls, but there's too much movement within the Dems to preserve the liberal status quo. That needs to change or, the Dems die. LIBERALISM IS DEAD. We address the fears that made people Trump voters, or democracy dies! Here are 2.5 other smaller reasons: 3. Sexism, Racism, and Religiosity. I will not deny that these do play a part in certain parts of the electorate. However, I don't think they're insurmountable hurdles in a general election. I think Obama's campaign is proof of this. But we shouldn't deny that there are a significant portion that wouldn't vote for Kamala for purely bigotry reasons. Hell, I know some personally. But I do think it is a mistake to blame these for our failures. WE LEARN NOTHING OTHERWISE! 4. Believe it or not, but there's just a lot of people out there that just don't care or avoid politics all together. These people aren't bad or deficient, but they just don't include thinking about politics constantly as a part of their lives. They think about the election for a few days, and then get on with their lives for 4 years and tune out everything. Generally, these people are privileged, though there's also some that have been so hurt by our system and policies, that they tune out in pure nihilism about it all. These people vote on vibes, they vote based on what those they care about support, and many just sit out the whole thing. Voter apathy is definitely a thing, and it hurst especially the left imo. I do believe the majority of people would loath Trump's policies if they actually knew what they entailed, so this apathy only takes away from the left. 5. Kamala did NOT lose due to the Gaza protest. She might have lost a bit of support by not being an empathetic foil to Trump's "glass the whole strip" rhetoric, but I don't think it made a significant difference. And I'm gonna be real with y'all; Tumblr is mostly full of it if they think they can accomplish anything with a protest vote for Gaza. I learned this in 2016. That action won't do anything, and it's too risky when a literal fascist is on the other side of the ballot. Yes, I hate that Kamala did not oppose the current Biden policy of letting genocide happen, but Jill Stein/no vote can't pressure these people in the establishment without hurting their campaign financing. The votes are in, and 3rd party votes would not have saved Kamala.
2. What happens now? What is a 2nd Trump admin like?Maybe this is a bit of copium, but I do think that Trump will still be overall very incompetent and unable to enact the worst of his policies. Terrible things will still happen (and I'll get to that later), but I think some of the catastrophizing is a bit overblown. Let's take the mass deportation policy for example. This would be a horrible campaign on the level of the worst historical genocides. He would need to create an ICE apparatus so large that it would rival the fucking gestapo. Just think of all the agents and infrastructure that would need to be developed to round up ~20million people and transport them to the border and detention facilities. There's no practical way to deport that many people. The logical end point is concentration camps. Yes, we have them already to an extent (I mean the euphemistically named "immigrant detention facilities"), but we don't have anything that could handle "mass deportation." Building the facilities, hiring the agents, buying the buses and trains, and executing the warrants all takes a lot of time and money. None of this goes unnoticed, and it won't go without resistance today. Congress still controls the purse, despite what the supreme court says about Trump's immunity to do whatever he wants. SCOTUS said he can't be prosecuted for committing a crime, not that he can break a constitutional rule. The margins are too thin in the new congress, and I genuinely do not think that he has the political tact to navigate around how much resistance he'll get. My main evidence for this is the border wall. He had all the support he needed within congress and his base to try to "build that wall." The GOP even controlled both branches of congress, and shutdown the government multiple times to try to get his way. They had a majority in the house his first 2 years. It meant nothing! He got a regressive tax cut passed, and that's about it. I know there's a lot of bullshit he can pull to push terrible things through, and he'll have ghoulish cronies that will be the actual brains behind things, but honestly, they're dumb as shit too. They're too evil for their own good. They will eat themselves alive through infighting and liberal resistance before they can start a genocidal campaign on American soil. That's not to say there will be some horrible things. Here's what I do think he'll be able to do: - Ban abortion nationwide either through the Comstock Act or SCOTUS. - Completely fuck up half of our federal institutions that keep us informed and safe (ie. dismantling or gutting of Dept. of Education, EPA, FTC, NSA, HHS, and more). - Allow for more religious integration into our public institutions like schools - Essentially turn our government into an oligarchy (or more of one than it already is) - Reverse gay marriage rights (overturning obergefell) and restricting the rights of LGBTQ+ in the public sector overall. - Exacerbate the Gaza genocide - Let Putin have his way with Ukraine - Royally fuck up the economy with Tariffs - Probably get us into some kind of overseas war - If he survives to the end of his term, I do think that our democracy will be incredibly fucked. Like, I think they'll be able to push through so many bullshit rules that we won't be able to come back unless an actual leftist populist makes huge rounds.
Overall, it's gonna suck, especially if you're LGBT in a red state. I think he'll also continue targeting undocumented migrants, but I doubt he'll be able to put together the infrastructure to genocide them. Yes, Hitler and his regime were incompetent too, but it was really the enabling act post-Reichstag fire that allowed for him to start pushing the policies that would become the holocaust. It was only at that point that he had no more resistance, and could order whatever he wants. We're definite not there yet with Trump.
3. What do we (the left) do now?Honestly, just stay vigilant, be active within your community, make connections (even with Trump voters), and don't give in to the despair. Once you're hopeless, it will only make it easier for them to keep winning. We fight against the fascists until the bitter end. The only endpoint of fascism is self destruction. I am a leftist, but I am not a revolutionary. I think armed action rarely leads to good outcomes, and history shows that. However, if we get a Reichstag fire moment or an enabling act moment, that's not the point to lose hope. If people start turning their neighbors into the gestapo-fied ICE, that's not the point to hide. These represent the time where politics should be abandoned, and an actual violent fight for freedom and liberty should begin. I pray we never come to that point. Hopefully, these next four years will look like a continuation of 2016-2020. We'll have a slow degrading of our rights, but if too many of those we all care about are hurt, we can come together and help to reverse it. I know things are super polarized and we all have our own little bubbles in society, but there comes a breaking point where too many people are hurt, and even the biggest MAGA head will have someone they deeply care about that is very hurt by Trump. This is my hope, though it unfortunately relies on things getting worse first before becoming better.

Now that I've watched so many Les Mis bootlegs from before the Broadway 10th anniversary, I honestly think most of the 10th anniversary staging changes were not improvements.
So many scenes were re-staged in 1997 to bring more "energy" to the show, in response to complaints that it had become stagnant. And at the time, maybe it did. Maybe I only feel differently because the post-1997 version of the show was the one I was introduced to and grew up with, and I've only just discovered videos of performances from the earlier years. So the restraint in the staging that seemed un-energetic in 1997 feels refreshing to me.
But as far as I'm concerned, the more "energetic" new staging tended to be more stagy and melodramatic.
Valjean running back and forth like a madman during the intro to "Valjean's Soliloquy." Yes, it reflects his inner turmoil, but it feels like a stage direction, not like something a real person would do. The original blocking, where he just walked slowly to center stage, lost in thought, was more realistic and made for a stronger release of tension when he finally burst out with "What have I done? Sweet Jesus, what have I done?"
Bamatabois being more violent, throwing Fantine to the ground again after the scratches his face, and then dragging her across the stage (in some performances by her hair), when he originally didn't touch her again after she scratched him. Yes, it's viscerally horrifying, but is it necessary? No. The scene was already brutal without such excessive female torture porn.
The constables dragging Fantine across the ground on her stomach before Valjean intervenes. Again, unnecessary, especially just after the above scene with Bamatabois.
The pimp in "Look Down" physically restraining the young prostitute from attacking the old beggar woman instead of just calling down from the bridge. In and of itself, it's fine, but in so many performances it leads to him slapping and manhandling her, which is needless. We get it, sex workers are abused; we saw plenty of that in Fantine's scenes, we don't need more female torture porn to remind us.
The beginning of "Éponine's Errand" re-blocked so that Marius runs frantically back and forth, looking for Cosette, with Éponine scampering after him like an attention-seeking puppy. It's energetic, yes, but it feels stagy, not natural.
Courfeyrac defying Enjolras's orders and dragging Javert to the other side of the barricade to shoot him, and the students arguing more dramatically among themselves about whether or not Javert should be killed. This is probably my least favorite change of all: yes, it adds energy to the scene, but it robs the revolutionaries of their dignity and unity by having them fall into near-anarchy in the face of their first real crisis. It makes me lose some of my respect for them. Besides, all the ad-lib shouting makes Javert's "Shoot me now or shoot me later..." hard to hear.
In the same vein as the above, the other revolutionaries shouting in protest when Enjolras hands Javert over to Valjean, turning Enjolras's "The enemy may be regrouping!" speech into an attempt to restore order. Again, it makes the barricade feel more chaotic and less respect-worthy.
Other staging changes I'm indifferent to. For example, Thénardier and the gang trying to pick the lock on the gate in "Attack on Rue Plumet" instead of trying to scale the wall – either way is fine.
There are only two staging changes (one of them more than just staging) that I think were definite improvements. One was the addition of the Well Scene. That scene should have always been there: Valjean and little Cosette's first meeting is much too important to keep offstage. The other was the restaging of Enjolras and Marius's lines in "Look Down," so that instead of just conversing with each other at center stage, surrounded by beggars but not paying them much attention, they delivered their lines as a speech from the bridge, stirring up support for their cause, handing out pamphlets to the beggars, and engaging with them. That I like better than the original.
And even with the changes I care less for, it's still the classic Trevor Nunn/John Caird production of Les Mis. Whether before or after the 10th anniversary, I prefer it to the current Laurence Connor productions, and I'd love to see it revived in some form someday.
But now that I've discovered bootlegs from the late '80s and early '90s, I've become nostalgic for an era of Les Mis that I was born too late to see in person.

Hey man! Before you delete this ask because I call myself a leftist, I want you to read over this ask. I genuinely have no ill intent towards you, I just want to know how you would explain something. If you can give me a solid answer, you'd have "owned this lib". I legitimately want to give you the chance to speak.
Recently, (based on your posts, what I assume to be) your party made a move to kill a non-partisan government funding bill, at the will of Elon Musk. For this, the party risked governmental shut-down so they could make their changes to the bill. This is not where my question lies.
Among the cuts made in the bill, the party cut 120 billion dollars in pediatric cancer research. I am simply asking if MAGA and Republican party supporters can justify this.
Can you please explain why your party took away (possibly vital) cancer research for children?
I got asked this and attempted to reply privately in chat, but I was not able to reply in chat. So, everyone gets to see the ask and response.
Liberal voters used to be seen as voters willing to consider all options. That’s changed over the years. I’m not interested in “owning a lib”. I like discourse and civil posts….or mostly civil posts. I’m not perfect. I am passionate about my cause and certain topics.
I’m not necessarily in a specific political party. I’m a constitutional conservative. Currently, I align with MAGA, which is a nationalistic and populist movement housed under the Republican Party. Trump wisely hunkered under that umbrella instead of further dividing the voters and creating another party. RFKjr tried that in opposition to Jill Stein’s Libertarian group. While he surpassed her numbers as the official 3rd party (impressive), he couldn’t surpass Trump under the Republican canopy. When RFKjr joined Trump, the Unity Ticket surpassed the Democrats/Democrat Socialists and Biden’s illegal voting machine. The election and voting base was too big for the DNC to rig.
I’m not a fan of the bill that passed. Read my posts and you’ll find I want much shorter bills with much less spending in them. I like the bill that passed in comparison to the original, but I want even shorter bills with even more transparency than Elon promoted and successfully utilized on X.
**Elon spiked attention. The people who voted for Trump/Vance and the Unity Ticket spoke and got a response. Elon helped kill the bill, but he didn’t do it by himself.
**Non-Partisan? Ha! That bill was fat with Elitism.
I’ll answer your question after I ask two.
1. Are you willing to pay $120B in cancer research AND pay all the other money in that bill?
2. If you dig into my posts, you’ll see cancer treatments outside of Big Medicine and Big Pharma have been discovered to great effects (curing cancer). The methods already exist. What else is there to research?
——
Inside our medical community, have they touted these findings? No. They silence them and push cancer research and chemo. Chemo isn’t a cure. It’s the Trail of Tears assault on the human body. Chemo kills everything but isn’t guaranteed to kill the cancer. Strange, huh?
At which point was this cancer research designated? The research into developing more cancer, the management of the cancer, the “treatment” against the cancer, the treatment of the secondary and tertiary developments, or shutting down the findings outside of Big Pharma about eradicating cancer?
Have you listened to the drug commercials? 90% of drugs mention a cancer warning. “Treat your eczema but run the risk of severe bleeding, tuberculosis, cancer and 15 other things.” Those commercials don’t say cure. They say treat your issue. A patient cured is money lost. A patient cured is leverage lost. A kid cured is the most offensive thing to Big Pharma because child patients have the greatest potential to be in the healthcare system the longest. Hook them early on one “doctor prescribed medicine” and pass them along to more and more. There’s a pill for this and a pill for that, and a new pill for the adverse reactions of pills 1 and 2. Maybe that sounds harsh to you, but it’s true. 95% of our “doctors” are salesmen intend on you taking something for something; most don’t know ethical medical practices about holistic care because Big Pharma paid for their medical schooling. That evidence is out there. Big Pharma brags about it.
Our medical community and government spending needs an overhaul. The two are tied together and the bond needs to be severed. At this point, all these different endeavors should be GoFundMe donation platforms. That’s essentially what St. Jude does. So, whether it’s cancer, ALS, PETA, The Boston Symphony, University endowments, Big Auto, radio stations, media outlets, or all these science experiments studying cocaine effects on fish and rats and flies eating beagles, find someone else besides the government to fund the endeavor.
I cannot explain what made the cut and what didn’t. Personally, I’d have closed the government till 1/20, but that didn’t happen. Wouldn’t that be scary? No. Not a big deal.
Instead, the 1500+ package was whittled down to 116 pages - I think that was the number. Whatever made the cut is still too much for a country $36 Trillion in debt and with a Congress with a majority body possessing zero knowledge on money, budgets, zero balanced budgets, paying off debt, credit limits/debt ceiling, or spending more than $2T over budget. You and I might be able to talk money. The bulk of Congress doesn’t understand that it’s OUR money not the government’s money; they see a prepaid debit card with zero limits and think they can spend whatever they want on anything. Because of that, we’re $36T in debt and Big Pharma continues to “research” cancer treatments without ever finding a cure. Would you find a cure and stop the flow of money?
