five images; dragon linocut; four prints; three colored with different color markers; one uncolored, black lines on white field; and the negative cut out stamp used to create them
Oh hey let’s add these to the list of stuff I’ve made and keep forgetting to post here 🙃
I printed shirts! That are available for preorder! Right now! I carved all of these designs in Lino and I am hand printing them and they’re so cute I just want as many people to own them as possible to share the cuteness and also maybe have a small cult following of queerbies that’d be chill too. But yeah you can get them on my shop site sadfishclub.com!
Please support this poor queer who is bad at promotion and get this dope shirt in return!
the results of a little foray into lino cuts earlier this month - a selkie and a little stone circle of friendly trolls. i'm enjoying block printing but boy it is process heavy and the learning curve is not insignificant! more experiments to come, probably.
Drawing, block (mirrored), and printing process for this design.
This print is inspired by the poster style of David Lance Goines. I've been thinking a lot lately about the role of the identity of the artist. The majority of my work isn't directly about my queer identity and experience, and yet I feel that part of me does impact everything I do. This will soon be available at the Spooky Haus booth and website!
Happy Season 3 Announcement!
I'll upload the original prints (as normal print and as foldable cards) in my shop this weekend so be sure to check it out!
TDOR poster I made! The dandelion thing is inspired by myself and something a social worker said to us talking about trans people: it needs many dandelions to break the concrete of our society <3
Black Lino cut on rainbow paper. The colors of the paper are a transition from pink to blue to green. It says trans day of remembrance on the left side, then there's a dandelion in all stages breaking through concrete then the letters TDOR as a graphic element with the o being a trans symbol. The date 20.11.2023 is written on it. Below it says "uns gibt es für immer" eng: "we will exist forever" a white star is overlayed at the top right corner.
Lee Cattarin is back for issue 3 of T! - a zine about testosterone! Here's a tiny taster of his work to whet your appetite ahead of the zine's release; you can check out more of his previous work in issue 2.
