#Littlest Pet Shop: A Movie of Our Own

Here is My Drawing (Which took 3 Hours to Make,) of Quincy, Bev, and Trip from Littlest Pet Shop: A World of Our Own, hugging each other. 

This Drawing is supposed to represent a Soft Reboot change I'd like to make if I were to direct and write a Littlest Pet Shop: A World of Our Own Movie, The Idea being, giving Bev a stronger Friendship with Quincy and Trip. Since I'd like Bev to be The Female Lead of This Movie, I'd like for her to have a Stronger Friendship with Quincy and Trip, and being More Involved in their Lives. Throughout The Show, it was just Quincy and Trip being a Duo. But I'd like to change This Duo into a Trio, to help make Bev's Role as The Female Lead less forced, since Roxie was The Protagonist of The Series (And honestly, I personally think Bev should've been the Protagonist of AWOOO.) 

Like in The Show, Bev is still friends with Edie, Roxie, and Jade, but I just thought it would be a Neat Soft Reboot change to The Lore of LPSAWOOO if it got a Movie. Plus, I'd like to see Bev have More Interactions with Quincy. So yeah, Quincy, Trip, and Bev are The Three Protagonists of My Idea for a LPSAWOOO Movie.

This is also My Debut of Quincy's Movie Design, he just has Fluffy Ears and More Shadows on him. Not really much changes are needed for his Design, which may be for some characters as well.

And Trip actually looks Like Trip. I didn't like how I did him last time, so I wanted him to look good. I tried and Fail Last Two Times I drew him, But This looks good enough.

This took a long while for Me to Finish. First time I worked on this, Trip and Bev came out wrong, yet Quincy actually looks like his Show Counterpart compared to My Last Finished Drawing of him. I had to redo Bev and Trip for this Drawing. It may Not look too accurate, but it does look close enough.

Anyway, I hope you like it. It took me Soooooo Long to Finish, and while it may not be perfect, I think that's good enough.

i finally watched the barbie movie

i was really busy this semester and never got around to it, but now i'm home with the family and we wanted something fun to watch so i suggested the barbie movie. both my parents have already seen it, and with my mom at the beach with a friend, my dad was siked to show it to me and my brother (he also hadn't seen it yet). i was aware that it was all about patriarchy and feminism and what it means to be a woman and all that stuff but i really wasn't prepared for how it would make me feel.

i'm nonbinary (afab) and when i was a kid, i was not allowed to play with barbies. my mom had a similar opinion as sasha about barbies, that they were a bad representation of women and really just reproduced gender roles, so i grew up with other dolls (i think i had an our generation doll) and stuffed animals and littlest pet shops. i was always so jealous of other girls who had American girl dolls and barbies because they were cool and i wanted so desperately to be cool. at the same time, however, i didn't want to be like other girls. i was tomboyish and as soon as i could dress myself, i stopped wearing dresses and anything pink. in fact, i detested pink and only relinquished my negative opinions about pink in the last few years of high school.

watching this movie has brought so many conflicting emotions to the forefront of my mind about womanhood and femininity. i felt like i couldn't process properly while watching the movie because i was watching it with my dad and brother. i love them dearly and they are feminists and openminded and all that, but there is something about watching a movie that is a celebration of womanhood and humanness while being the only one with those experiences in the room. we were connected and bonding as a family, and at the same time, i have never felt more isolated. there were several points throughout the movie where i wanted to burst into tears but i just swallowed it down and let the feeling burn in my chest because i knew i would not have the words to explain why i was crying to people who are, ultimately, men.

i saw myself in sasha as she navigates becoming a teen and discovering herself outside of her relationship to her mother and the way that manifests in closing yourself off and rebuffing any attempt at connection and love with her mom. i saw myself in gloria as she laid out the maze of social expectations women are meant to navigate 24/7 and what that kind of pressure does to a person. she says "i don't even know" as her conclusion and i felt like i was kicked in the chest. everything is so hard and you can understand the patriarchy and systems of oppression on a cognitive level but to let yourself sit in that understanding and fully emerse yourself in your oppression is a terrifying prospect and in all genuineness, i'd rather not. i saw myself in stereotypical barbie who has lived her entire life believing in her own power and being told "women can be anything!" only to step out into the real world and learn insecurity and objectification and the fundamental unease of existing in a male-dominated world.

i think i need to rewatch the barbie movie again either alone or with my mom or literally anyone else who has the same experiences. i love my dad and my brother but we cannot connect on the same level about it.

So looking at how much Hasbro has been trying to revitalize animated reboots since 2010, thoughts on modern Hasbro 2010s reboots MLP Friendship is Magic, Pound Puppies 2010, Transformers Prime, Littlest Pet Shop 2012, Equestria Girls, GI Joe Renegades, Transformers Rescue Bots, Transformers Robots in Disguise, Littlest Pet Shop A World of Our Own, Transformers Cyberverse, Transformers: Rescue Bots Academy, Pony Life, Transformers EarthSpark, MLP Tell Your Tale, and MLP Make Your Mark?

Who boy.. settle in folks this is going to be a while. Friendship is Magic: A show I honestly want to go back and finish once the streaming weirdness is cleared up. (It's currently weirdly bisected with the middle missing), as my discomfort with the more extreme side of the fandom (and a manipulative asshole getting into my head, very long story), I dropped it around late season 2. Granted how they intially brought discord back didn't really sell me on returning but I still at least kept tabs on everyone and honestly.. wanted to return at some point I just never did. I watched most of the discord episodes because he's my boy, but that's about it. Still a good show.

Dan Vs: Technically dosen't count.. but i'm throwing it in as the only other show on the hub and because I loved it and need to rewatch it. Dan VS is an awesome little adult sitcom that was weirdly on this hasbro based family network. It was one of the best shows of it's time and had a simple but hilarious premise of a very angry man trying to get revenge on some inconveince he's faced, sometimes justifably sometimes because he's a sad strange little man. With the dream trinity of curtis armstrong (who really shoudl do more va work besides this and american dad) dave foely and paget brester, it really worked and while i'm sad it only got three seasons the fact it did and you can still watch it today (it's on youtube, tubi and the roku channel for free baby!) I highly recommend it.

Pound Puppies: Since I had the hub around the time all this happened, I did see most of these early reboots. Pound Puppies.. is adorable. Not entirely my speed, but still a lot of fun... and not suprising given it was developed by the guys who created recess. Transformers Prime: Another show I need to watch more of. At the time I thought it was okay, but just didn't get into it, but I hear it only got better and better with age. I also think the animation wasn't for me and I still think it's not entirely, but it's not bad by any stretch. LIttlest Pet Shop: I really loved this one at the time and even now a bunch of animals at an animal daycare getting into slice of life shenanigans just hits the spot. I also had ships because of course I did, i ncluding sunil and that one cat. But it was a lot of fun. Russel was my easy faviorite. And even if I didn't really care for blythe as a charcter I respect that they had her wear a new outfit each episode and put care into the deisgns given she IS a designer. Solid show.

Equestria Girls, Rescue Bots, Rescue Bots Academy, Pony Life: Haven't seen any of it

GI Joe Renegades: ANOTHER ONE I regret not watching more of but in this case I was interested I just could never catch it and never thought to you know, dvr it, even more now i've read the truly awesome larry hama comics. Still really good.

Robots In DIsguise: I only saw an episode of this but I liked the premise, It was just clear if you hadn't seen prime, even as a soft reboot this was going to be hard to follow. Which is a shame as it had he, grimlock as a main character. Granted I didn't REALLY like painting him green but still dinosaur man!

A World of Our Own: Say it with me now "I wish i'd seen more of it", though in this case by this point I didn't have satalite tv anymore, so I watched it while babysitting a few times. It was neat though and I wa sintrested.

Cyberverse; About the same with me also forgetting it was on netflix. New Gen MLP: I've seen the movie, which was decent, and me and a friend PLANNED to watch the series, we just haven't yet. It looks good though.

EarthSpark: I REALLY fucking want to watch this one. It has a stacked voice cast a brilliant premise that FINALLY breaks away from autobot decepticon war for the first time since armada (Though Animated at least had a fresh take on it), by showing what comes after, I haven't seen it but I really want to I just keep forgetting.

(Phew) Okay next time maybe don't pack so many shows into one of these.

Development Art For A Unmade Littlest Pet Shop A World Of Our Own Theatrical Movie By Boulder Media and AllSpark Animation.

Apparently Hasbro had so much faith on Littlest Pet Shop A World Of Our Own that plans for a feature film for theaters where in the works, but after the AWOOO show flopped on toy sales, plans for the movie where shelved..... a shame... and from my understanding the people at Entertaiment One has no interest in making a third reboot.

I’ve noticed lately there’s an uptick in people who write characters as being poor/growing up poor(particularly Mario and Luigi), and I love to see it because I grew up poor myself. I wanted to compile a bunch of memories I have of growing up poor as a potential reference to anybody who wants it, because i know not everybody here was broke but wants to write characters as broke and it can be hard to find resources that AREN’T just guesses at what things might’ve been like. do note my own experiences aren’t universal, but they’re what I’m familiar with since it was my own childhood.

Definitely not a totally complete list and I'll add more as I think of them, and if people want to ask me questions for any clarification, go ahead!

-Brushing our teeth by taking a mouthful of watered down mouthwash and sticking the toothbrush in your mouth and brushing with your mouth full so we didnt need to buy toothpaste

-often times breakfast was just a glass of milk because it was relatively cheap

-fancy family breakfasts were sundays only and usually simple french crepes because they’re only eggs milk and flour, and we’d have them with butter+sugar or lemon+sugar

-my mom was a waitress at nights and those days she’d send home leftovers from her job as dinner since they didnt want to waste at the restaurant she worked at

-Birthdays i always shared with my older sister and parties were every other year with a hard limit on 5 invites each. they were either at the small family owned movie theatre or the bowling alley.

-I never had a playdate at my own house. I never understood at the time, but i know now it was because our house was really run down and we didn’t have extra snacks or anything to entertain guests really

-once a month our mom would have enough change scrounged up to send me and my siblings (5 of us total) to the corner store 2 blocks down for slurpees. Highlight of the month.

-we’d have quesadillas a lot (tortillas with cheese salsa and chicken, not really authentic) because one grocery store chicken could feed everybody for 2 days straight this way

-fried rice or hash browns with bacon and onions were a common meal since onions, potatoes, rice and bulk frozen bacon was cheap at the time

-every family pet we ever had were rescues we got for free with the exception of my 2 current cats which my mom bought for $75 off of kijiji 14 years ago. I still have the kitties!

-we often had those massive flatpacks of assorted soda flavours because it was cheaper than juice or bottled water but we were limited to 2 cans a week

-we shared the bathwater up until we were in highschool, and even then we wouldn’t drain the tub if somebody else needed a bath and they could re-use the water.

-the local church would send a lot of donations our way. the most prominent were bags upon bags of day old bakery bread they couldnt sell.

-a lot of times dinner were whole frozen fish we could get for cheap since they were too small to cut and sell as fillets.

-hot dogs were a VERY common meal because they were cheap in bulk frozen packs

-the fanciest appliance in the whole house was a massive, clunky kitchen maid my mom got at her wedding.

-we always made our own fresh pesto since it was much cheaper than storebought pastes. it also tastes WAY better imo

-every christmas the local church would request gifts of a certain variety, under the premise of secret santas. they’d ask for “gift for -gender- child, -age-, -interest- and then send the gifts to the appropriate family. We got a LOT of gift cards to places like indigo or EB games/Gamestop for this reason

-the year my older brother and I got nintendo DSlites for christmas was because we were donated money. we each got 1 DS game each, and took turns with them. all the DS games we got after that were second hand or donated.

-I had about 15 random Littlest Pet Shops and no houses/playsets for them because again, donations. the one year I finally got one was during a white elephant at the local church, where I got the messenger pigeon and post office.

When you’re 27 and you’re heavy into nostalgia, but it seems most the people in online nostalgia spaces are like 25 and under, and being born on the cusp of millennial and gen Z has created such a bizarre divide between us all that i find i relate to people who are 30 more than i relate to people who are 24…

and all you guys want to talk about is littlest pet shop and webkins but i was born in 1995 and was slightly too old for that stuff by the time it was popular. i’m old enough to remember seeing the first rugrats movie in theatres and it really freaks me out when y’all say you were five when you saw the second rugrats movie i dunno man!

it’s like, yeah, i did grow up around littlest pet shop cuz my best friend’s sister who was two or three years younger than us played with them but i was already losing my playing-with-dolls imagination by the time they were popular

you hear what im saying? i want to relate and indulge in nostalgia core but every deep dive or retrospective i find is written from the perspective of someone 1-4 years younger than me, which imo makes an impact because our generation was marked by the advancement of technology and things, like the world moved so quickly that even being born a year apart from someone, if you were born on the cusp of millennial and gen z, you might not relate to someone who is literally a year or two older or younger than you

i watched pokémon when it was first airing in the US. i was old enough to own a gameboy color. but the kids born one year after me probably got a gameboy advance as their first handheld console

does this make sense???

i’m not saying one is better than the other or that anyone is right or wrong. but i find nostalgia spaces to be so interesting for our age group because it was such a weird time period to grow up in

Here is My Drawing of Gavin Chamelle's Fan Made Movie Design for Littlest Pet Shop: A World of Our Own Movie.

As you can see, Gavin is a Chameleon, so I wanted to draw him showcasing his Color changing abilities (Which would tie to his Emotions, kinda like Penny from Gumball, except Gavin doesn't change his shape,) as well as his Camouflage abilities. Fun Fact though, Gavin Never Changes his Colors in The Show, but he does Camouflage himself. So, One of The Soft Reboot changes I'd be doing with Gavin in The Movie, is have him change his Colors based on his Emotions (He's only doing it at will, for This Fan Art.) Gavin can Camouflage at will in both The Show, and The Movie. 

In The Show, Gavin is One of The Bullies that picks on The Main Characters alongside Petula, Sweetie, and Mitchel. But there are 2 Episodes in The Show that show he may have a soft side to him. If I were to make a LPS Movie, I would make Gavin One of The Main Characters, and give him a sub-plot about rescuing his Little Sister (An Original Character I'm making up for The Movie,) and working with Quincy and his Friends to save The Captured Pets from The Pet Catcher and Snapjaw.

Anyway, I hope you like My Drawing of Gavin, it felt like it took 2 Hours to Finish on My Laptop.

Well, I’ve had to take classes about forming and maintaining businesses, finding tax loopholes, writing and litigating contracts, and real property. Those are all things that WE would deal with on the regular. I also took classes on juvenile and adult criminal law, evidence, and police misconduct, which all seem Bat-relevant. At this exact moment I’m taking family law, which would include adoptions, and I have in the past taken classes about trusts and estates.

Huh, that’s a good question. My littlest brother and I are ten years apart, and Dave will tell you flat out I’m his favorite sibling because when I’m home we do everything together. I think the thing those fics are collectively missing is that there doesn’t need to be a brother/father hybrid because the role of Older Sibling With Age Gap is already its own distinct thing. 

Dave and I don’t have the same dynamic as the kids I actively grew up with. We had very limited contact during his growing up years, because I was off at school. Now that he’s a teenager, we communicate like adults but with the caveat that I am In Charge. I dictate the agenda, and I make the decisions unless I choose to delegate them. 

I’ve indulged a request about an adoption before, but I don’t really like that idea very much. Like I said, I don’t feel the need to add “father” into a dynamic that already exists on its own.

Remember this?  Unit-E was a single issue giveaway comic from New York Comic Con in 2011.  It was a crossover between almost all the Hasbro-verse properties.  At the time it was one and done, but now we know what was going to happen next.

Last weekend at TFCon Charlotte, Hasbro writer Rik Alvarez hosted a panel where he talked about his experiences working on the Binder of Revelation, which was supposed to be the guiding production bible that made all of Transformers fiction into a single unified continuity. yo go re has talked about this project before, when Hasbro was trying to align the (quite obviously G1) War for Cybertron continuity with the (quite obviously not G1) Prime continuity.

At any rate, TF: Prime was supposed to be the Iron Man 1 to UNITE:E's Avengers: it would have led into the massive crossover team-up, designed to help reinvigorate all the brands. Here's a little of what it would have entailed:

We don’t even know where to begin with this.  Yay, Synergy would’ve been the boss.  But Booo, there were no other plans for the rest of the cast of JEM. 

Hasbro went on and made a new show for Stretch Armstrong- that apparently has no buzz.

No mention of Battleship which had a major motion picture around this time.

Primordia was nothing more than Inhumanoids with a new name.  No mention of Earth Corps returning to fight them.  Our idea was that the Inhumanoids couldn’t talk to humans, but for the crossover we’d get Blythe Baxter (from Blythe Loves The Littlest Pet Shop) who has the ability to talk to animals and thus is the ONLY one who can help.  

The comic had Acroyer as the main character and he turned his nose up to the Candyland fairies and it was alluded to that Primordia and Candyland had beef.  

So apparently, Primordia destroyed Candyland (where King Kandy, Queen Frostine, and everyone else are ??????).  We love the fact that Hasbro said “Candyland?!?!  What the heck, why not?  Those bronies love girly stuff.” However, since the writing of this comic, the Candyland characters are in limbo because of a lawsuit over who actually created them.  

Hasbro clearly has no clue what to do with M.A.S.K., they don’t want to follow the cartoon’s continuity; okay, but they’re trying too hard and making it too convoluted.  

Hasbro/IDW hasn’t given up yet.  They’ve tried to make two mini series based off this premise.

Just watched: Littlest Pet Shop, A World of Our Own season 1, part 1

18 abr '18 Overall I don't know where to start I have so much to explain... So I like the previews show, not for the waifus nor the cute art direction but the cute animals "thinking they're people"  that was cute and that was enough for me. If we hold the new show next to the old one it's really obvious this one is meant for younger girls than the preview show, the preview show was lets say 6-8 this one is 4-6, it feels lighter and more tender, easier to assimilate, you know what I mean, it's one of those "you know when you see it", early on I felt disencouraged because of this, I'm a man who matches cartoons but I have a cutoff point when it comes at a very young audience but later on something clicked with me, most of the plot were very grounded dealing with how the characters relate to each other and their problems and I released that this show's plot is how little girls imagine being an adult is like, how adult go on their lives trying to coexist and enjoying things children's think adult like but still has a very childish feeling, a couple of episodes were build around social cue normal adults will be used to but here the character are oblivious to them, not dumb or immature just naive, I don't have a problem with that bit it just feels kind of alien. Basically that is what has charmed me so far, it's very childish view of adulthood and I feel I will enjoy the whole show. Beside that the art direction is quiet enjoyable. The intro and outro themes are fashionable, I dunno about the music from the previews show but this time they feel like pop hits from today. The mise en scene is amazing, the whole town looks so utopian but above all like a toy, it's whole city that looks like a very expensive kindergarten or baby nursery and that's so charming. the overall look of the show takes from the previews one's cartoon modern aesthetic and ads gradients and textures feeling like a natural evolution and giving a feeling that reminds me of a late 00's flash game, I love it.

Episode 1 This episode starts with a newcomer cat coming to the town, Roxie (The overly excited dog) strolls him around and this is a very easy way to introduce the audience to the whole thing but this newcomer cat disappear soon enough to give room for the real plot, Roxie has to house sit for a friend but she is befriend by a gang of thots that get her in trouble. This is an example of a plot that could work in a serious story adapted for children under the filter of "this is how children thinks adults are like" and it's kind of accurate. Also on the thot gang there is a snail and I can't wrap my head around that, snails aren't cute and this one tried really hard to be cute but I'm not buying it. Plus in other episodes we see lots of animals that are traditionally not seen as cute and cuddly, that is surprising but kind of strange for me.

Episode 2 Roxie is now living with Jade (Goth black cat, very grumpy), Roxie wants to be a good friend and do something nice for jade who is immune to kindness, Roxie gets lots of idea from different people but none clicks with Jade. this is an innocent story about friendship, a deeper conflict filtered for children, fanboys will see this as lesbian romance and it really gives that vibe. Also in the bar/club were the main cast hangs out the barman is a fish in a ball full of water, that's so strange but now I'm wondering why on TV shows the main cast always has a restaurant, bar, cafe or something similar were they hang out and are friends with the people there, that's so irreal.

Episode 3 The pets go to a fair/amusement park, Jade learns to be friendly to a random raccoon that isn't a pet irl but found his way to the town by being nice. There isn't much here, it was a nice adventure.

Episode 4 Everybody on the town has something stolen, Roxie and Jade team up to solve the mystery inspired by the crime shows Roxie's owners watch. This whole thing felt like a fairy tale, a strange problem has a very common solution I expect most episodes to be like this, I don't know how to describe the "this" but I want to be proven wrong.

Episode 5 We have an episode with a musical contest, this strikes me as such a girly thing, still the conflict goes on how Quincy (The fainting goat) can't sing but at the end they find him a place I don't have much to say beside that Quincy was really cute and that mouse guy that joined the cast came out of nowhere. I'm disappoint that the song they sang for the contest was hip hop, it wasn't memorable.

Episode 6 Roxie wants a slumber party and invites the rest of the female cast, it would had been funny if she had invited the guys but at least we get petunia (The thot sheep) and a duck from Edie's (The campy parrot) acting class. Tumblr has taught me that girl sleep overs are actually kind of boring and never like we see on TV, still Roxie wants to have a slumber party like on the movies rushing from activity to activity until she falls asleep and misses the real fun. I've mentioned that what charmed me about this show is that this is how little girls imagine adult life is like, grown women do not have slumber parties, they're similar but not called like that... the point is that in this episode the female crew were little girls without parents telling them to keep the noise down, just what the target audience dreams of. Also Roxie got a bouncy castle on her house but Jade ruined, was the that thing a rental? Did Roxie bough it with future plans? Either way is disheartening.

Episode 7 The episode goes with Roxie collecting old toys for charity, grabbing an old toy from Jade that later on turns out that it was very special for jade setting Roxy in a painful quest for it. At the end Jade lets go of her toy clown stepping into maturity and she adds that now Roxie makes her feel loved like that clown did and that ramps up the lesbian subtext like if there was no tomorrow. This was a nice episode, we saw lots of characters and places across the city, hell we even saw Jade's toy being take by a little kitty who was going around with her mom, that makes the city feel lived in and I love that.

Episode 8 Town fastest rabbit hit up on Roxie and Bev on the gym and for some reason the prepare to race against him and enlist an athletic dog that Roxie finds hot (beware shippers) and in top of that Petula gets into it teaming up with the fast rabbit and making the main gang bet for humiliation after the defeat. Incredibly they lose, the commenter on the event even said that rabbits are supposed to be fast and his victory was no surprise, so the audience celebrates the gangs effort because of how novel it was. At the end that resolution was actually very surprising it's refreshing to see a message like that.

10 may '18, night

Episode 9 So this episode opens with the girls doing yoga at the park, the mere fact of such thing makes me stop in my tracks. Anywho, this is now a Bev centric episode, this came late but it was good, Bev meets with an old turtle friend to get a backstage on a popular talk show and turns out the host that Edie admired so much is a jerk, nothing special but this show keep proving me that this is how little girls see adult life because this episode could easily be a chick flick

Episode 10 So this is an episode of Trip (The hamster) and Quincy (The goat) being best bro and doing manly shit like going on adventures but at the end the main conflict is fixed by talking seriously to each other. The last LPS cartoon and this one had a pair of guys that were best bros, Sunil and Vinny and now Trip and Quincy, an episode of them being bros and going into adventures is the last thing I would had expected in a show aimed a little girls, in cartoons aimed at girls male characters some times will play very big roles but this episode goes far beyond that and I should not be surprised about that because brotherhood is a thing that fascinates women so this may be some little girl's first yaoi ship, that's kind of concerning.

17 may '18, past midnight

Episode 11 Bev gets the main gang an invitation to a party on a cruiser with a royal corgi, this set up could had come from romance novel so I'm not surprised it's here and thinking about this episode it feels like a parody of a romance novel, I have never read one but this is the kind of thing I would expect of one. This set up fall apart in the end and we're reminded that this is a show for little girls, no couple kiss, social norms get broken and this formal party turn into madness with the main theme playing over it at the end. I don't know what to say about this plot except that the female goat Quincy met was cute but I'm sure we won't see her again.

Episode 12 I have to be honest, my hearing failed me and most of the dialog flew over my head, the plot deals with Bev doing something risky and the other pets trying to save her but at the end turns out their efforts were in vain, Bev didn't risk her life. A thing that really got my attention is that the main gang meets a spider, I always try to imagine how these character will look on the more human side of the anthropomorphism scale, like most furry characters but in this show we see so many species that rarely get furry art some times I have a hard time imaging them beyond their present design, kudos to the toymakers and the people behind the cartoon for stepping out of the comfort zone of cutesy and cuddly animals. Also I've mentioned that the shows theme is so up to date and I was wondering what'll be like to watch this in 40-50 years...

Episode 13 This episode gets kind of paradoxical, the pets feel they've become too soft and decide to go camping to reconnect with their animal part by going to camp but I'm beyond sure even in their normal homes they're quiet domestic, they never been to a forest so their concerns are mis aimed. They get in some trouble but fix it all with teamwork and this made me notice that this show maybe more 'action' packed than what I thought before, it's not just petty drama but the pets do get in adventures.

Episode 14 Roxie caught Jade falling on her back, very different from any other cat. Roxie is incredibly incompetent keeping her mouth shout and so ends up telling everyone while runs around to tell people to not tell anyone. I don't know what to say. I can't really find a comparison for how would this plot go done in a more serious tone, I know it is about gossip but the set up is still too far out.

Episode 15 So when a an episode is interesting I have something to tell beyond the episode's plot but now I have nothing to say beside recapping stuff I've said before in other reviews. Jade becomes a fashion icon after this world's equivalent of [I really want to insert a reference here but I don't know any significant fashion bloggers, I was going to say Perez Hilton but he posts gossip and not fashion so I don't know] and everything she wears becomes a fad, Jade as the grumpy goth she is hates all this attention while Edie gets jealous. This plot doesn't have a clear adult equivalent, perhaps there is one but I have yet to see it. I'm afraid that my argument that this show is how little girls imagine the adult world to be like is crumbling.

Episode 16 remember the Sponge Bob episode 'Squirrel Jokes'? This is like an inversion of it. Quincy becomes a comedian making imitations of his friends, Edie was just on a TV PSA and people is laughing at her character through Quincy's imitation, but Quincy learns fast enough and pull an Andy Kaufman making an imitation of himself. I'm fascinated by how this is the opposite of a plot another cartoon did, such thing must had happen before but nobody must have noticed it. Also Quincy and Edie share an intimate moment at the end that is a tremendous shipper bait.

Episode 17 So the pets get in a cruise once again, Bev's relative who is captain appears again and that's kind of a neat detail, they remember that character exists but I feel he's only a device to justify the pets getting into a cruise. Either way the plot of this episode is that the new act for the cruise's entertainment, a hypnotists husky, hypnotizes the crew and herself by accident leaving the ship unprotected, Bev takes over, uses our main gang as crew and is a terrible captain. The hypnosis scene gave me a tremendous "This is somebody's fetish" moment but thankfully the whole episode wasn't build around it. I'm feeling my argument of "this is how little girls imagine adult life is like" holds no basis anymore, the pets are in a life of endless vacations and petty drama, this isn't a soap opera like I imagined it'll go.

Episode 18 The pets are going camping, why? Why do they take vacations? They don't work! They live this life of endless leisure! — I can't with this anymore, these pets are trust fund babies... They tell scary stories around the campfire and we get clips of them but they're done in the normal style of the show feeling like they have no contrast. One of the stories mentions a human, a dog catcher being like the boogieman of this world, that was interesting but beside that there isn't much to this episode.

Episode 19 So Jade fell into this fad of crystals but is keeping it in secret. It's a strange set up, Jade does seem self aware enough to know she defying the expectations of the people around her and that's is why she's is so weary of Roxie and Edie, because they'll make a big deal out of her acting different and that's a type of attitude she doesn't like but in my mind I have the feeling that Jade will embrace the fad and tell Edie and Roxy to buzz off but at the end this set up showed us how austere and secretive Jade is, I'm left puzzled.

Episode 20 Trip becomes a meme, but it's more like a meme from 2006, it's just an embarrassing video of him like the Star Wars kid. The joke goes is that Trip is oblivious to the fact he just humiliated himself and he goes around proud enjoying his fame to the point he organized a live show. Trip is a strange character because he doesn't have a defined gimmick, all the other characters from the main gang have something but Trip always felt flat on that matter, I think that before the show started the promotional material pointed towards him being a ninja(?) or an action guy but that hasn't been played too much in the show and even if the show was set on that being Trip's gimmick then this episode was a little out of character. Trip should have something but this episode doesn't help him to grow and had a really cheesy ending.

Episode 21 So Edie gets all over herself, this time she takes a character out of the stage into the real world, she thinks she's a real psychic now and goes to the park, sets a tent and start to give predictions to the people. This episode addresses the criticism that 'psychics' relay on making ambiguous predictions to sound accurated once something fits the prediction but they don't go too deep with that and instead we have Edie snapping out of it mostly by herself. I don't know what to think but I feel that flavor of "this is what little girls imagine adult life is like" has returned.

24 jun '18, past midnight

Episode 22 So this episode deals with something I should had seen coming but now that I have it I'm kind of surprised. Roxy, Jade and Edie have to take care of a bunch or naughty and aggressive puppies, they fail but this setup really caught my attention, I don't remember many cartoon dealing with childcare and babysitting in this manner. I mean this is a show for little girls and the core audience may find the topic interesting but I can't recall seeing it on any other cartoon and that has made this episode so interesting for me.

Episode 23 So Bev gets bored and decides to try roller derby after a team invited her to join. This episode reminds a lot of The Game of Their Lives, the movie that I just saw, Bev's team is full of losers who put no effort into the game, she struggles and struggles to rise them until they one one match and then they celebrate, it feels phony like in The game of Their Lives because they do not address the fact they they probably still come last in the league and who know if the team still had that fighting spirit after Bev left.

Episode 24 Trip becomes rich after selling his outlandish invention on Paw Tucket's equivalent of Dragon's Den. I remember I've said that I feel Trip doesn't have a gimmick but I feel one is growing on him, it's hard to explain but Trip is a guy who who falls into success and finds a way to ruin it, kind of like Kramer from Seinfeld but Trip has a very different personality. Still, it's too fuzzy to arrive to a conclusion yet, Either way I enjoyed the mise en scene on this episode, I want an office like Trip's. Also Quincy and Edie spend a lot of time together in this episode, is this ship baiting? I don't think a show for 4-6 years old girls would play with such a thing.

Episode 25 So Bev works as an assistant for the duo of magicians who are not getting along. The magician duo composed of a rabbit and a dog had an interesting gimmick, the rabbit is all serious while the dog clown around the tricks, they have an amazing dynamic in the stage and that reminds me a lot in 2001 I saw a live stage show of a magician and a clown with a similar dynamic, I just feel it's an amazing combination and seeing it again here really warmed my heart. On a similar note is sad that in the previews LPS show Sunil and Pepper never had an act like this together. The dog also reminds me of the argentine comedy troupe Les Luthiers for whom part of the joke is the fact that they look like serious performers of classical music. This was a really enjoyable episode and I hope we see more of the rabbit and dog due soon.

Episode 26 A shepherd dog arrives in town, Roxy and jade try to introduce him to the place but he falls over trying to run after a sheep, Roxie is kind enough to invite him to recover at their home but jade is having none of it. I think this plot has been done before, like one of those standard plot that cartoons recycle. Overall this episode was just bland, can't say much beyond hat.

Overall The first season isn't over yet, and I'll be reviewing the second part whenever it comes out. this show has charmed me, everything is cute and nothing hurts, specially the mise en scene, paw tucket feels like an utopia, where everything is shiny and clean, I want a place like it to be real so I can not live there and call its inhabitants rich assholes.

It had been almost twenty hours since he’d received the call from his husband that he and his girls were in Chile, South America. Over the phone Dahl joked about the nice weather and lovely beaches, but his voice strained over the call. Jamie’s heartstrings ached at hearing it, only imagining what could be going on down there. Dahl still didn’t tell him what happened, all he said was that they had made a pit stop at a small island and things had gotten rough.

His phone call was cut off abruptly, Dahl losing battery life on the other line.

The Fiaclan at home stared at his phone screen, he didn’t even get a chance to talk to his wife nor his daughter. All he knew was that this whole event, this whole ordeal seemed to be a gathering of all of the Suurkedi species. But Jamison didn’t like how feral they seemed when they left…

He sighed, setting the small device aside on one of Theodosia’s drawers. James hadn’t slept since the three left, and that was three days ago. Was it three days? Four? A week? He held his head in his hands, his eyes squeezed shut to block out any terrible thoughts. He pictured a smooth lovely beach with a jungle nearby. Then he pictured it covered in blood and bodies, lust and screams of claws and teeth against flesh. He even saw them all- Dasiä, Skallen, Dahl- all still on the sand.

At least he wasn’t right about that last part.

Theodosia lay still in her bed, clutching tightly onto her blanket with all four hands. She hadn’t been doing so well either. Theo had fussed often with the loss of her mother and sister and father, not at all used to not hearing their voices. The small child would sob when Jamison went to her instead of Dasiä, but as the days grew on she eventually grew accustomed to the new change. James only hoped this change wasn’t forever.

As the days passed, Jamison would take his littlest dearest to daycare so he could continue working at his jewelers shop, but he quickly found himself being unproductive with this and resorted to staying home. But even there he did nothing but wait for his phone to go off, for that happy voice to say, “we’re coming home!”

The sun had eventually set, and still Jamison crouched in that old rocking chair. His eyes would fixate on his phone, then his daughter, and then the night sky. He wondered what the stars looked like in South America, and if his family could see the same ones he saw. Perhaps not, they were in the opposite hemisphere, but it soothed his mind temporarily.

Stars…

Was Skallen alright? Would he see her happy smiling face whenever she ask for something or watch movies together? Or what about Dahl? Would Jamie see that sly grin of his, and the way he huffed after a long shift? And Dasiä… Jamison whimpered under his breath, the sound trickling past his jaws to catch the attention of his pets and Theodosia. His daughter stirred and awoke from the sound, and he was more than eager to lull her back to sleep.

The phone rang.

The Fiaclan was in the kitchen when it happened, glaring down a lamb that had been carved in the fashion of a turkey. He intended to eat it but of course he had not felt well. Theo was at daycare now, and it was high time to go and retrieve her.

His claws fumbled with the buttons, often clacking against the screen just to answer the phone.

“Hello?” He inquired, his voice stuttering. The caller ID belonged to Dahl.

Dahl groaned on the other end, sounding absolutely exhausted. “Jamison…?” Even through the groggy voice, a hint of a smile could have been heard.

Jamison nearly burst into tears as he listened to Dahl’s tale. He was told about the long treacherous flight just to get to the small island, and how Suurkedi dropped like flies into the ocean just to rip each other apart. He was told how they met up with Nyle and the other Shrikes, and that Skallen had killed one on that island. “Burnt to a crisp” were Dahl’s exact words.

Candypants claimed that once they left the island, they made straight for Chile. There Dahl had lost control of his anger and slipped out of his contained form into his more ancestral image. Figures why he sounded so tired… Dahl continued, him having far too many run ins with the other Shrikes, but he had met up with Dasiä��s parents and even her old flock. That didn’t sound so bad!

But then he learned of the Peak. Jamison learned of the bloodshed and rut that the species shook with, and that in its first few moments hundreds of Suurkedi had been slain. The terrible images showed up in his head again as he continued. All three of them seemed to be torn up from the massacre, and all three of them had killed their fair share of dragons.

Jamison nearly dropped the phone, just trying to picture his family brutally murdering other dragons for their life. He was mortified, then frightened, then angry… so very angry. Why, if he were there he would have-

The Fiaclan steadied himself.

Dahl sighed into the phone. “Pumpkin is messed up pretty badly, I think she got the worst of all of us.”

“Why? What happened? Is she alright?” Dasiä could probably hear the panicked tone in his voice should she eavesdropped.

“Oh yes yes, she’s alright, she’ll be fine… When we get home, try not to talk to her too much about it.” His husband breathed, wincing audibly.

“What? What’s wrong with her? You’re scaring me love!”

“Just hang tight, we’re all in the hospital right now and I’m just about to pass out. We’re just getting some wounds stitched closed. We’re going to spend the night at a hotel before we head home, but there’s no way in hell we’re flying home, we’ll take a plane. Ah- Hm? Mmm… The girls say they love you and wish to talk more, but we’ve got a lot on our plate here.”

“Yes, yes indeed, of course! You three rest up, alright? I’ll have the castle ready for you, I love you! I love you all!” Jamie said, tears streaming down his face from built up emotion.

Dahl huffed on the other end, “Yeah, we’ll see you soon, Rionnag Bheag.”

The phone clicked, signifying the end to their conversation.

Jamison’s heart thumped agonizingly hard against his chest, they were all alive! All of them! His loves and his baby will be coming home so very soon… There goes his chance of sleeping tonight again, but at least it would be that of excitement.

Theodosia even caught on Jamison’s sparked mood, cooing and laughing more than what she had been while they all left.

The day passed and night fell, and the day passed once more. It was night once more as well. Jamison had tried to get Theo to sleep, but she simply couldn’t. She sensed her father’s eagerness and impatient pacing and couldn’t fall into slumber.

James didn’t mind, he just kept her on his hip as he stared out the top of the castle’s tower, that’s where his room was. It overlooked the entire city from the slope it was built on, and he was able to pick out the colors of cars squat in the middle of it. But eventually his fantastic eyes grew weary.

The Fiaclan sighed and hopped into his home elevator, he’d gotten it installed (and baby proofed) for easier access. It was easier than walking down five flights of stairs. Once he reached the ground floor he trudged down the empty halls, his pets Fiasco and Zuzu following silently behind.

Once he reached the main chamber he set Theo down in her walker, and immediately she tried to chase after the brightly colored monster dogs. The foyer was a mess of baby toys, the kitchen hadn’t been cleaned in days. Beds needed to be made and rooms had to be cleaned. It was usually if not always Jamison who cleaned after everyone, and he loved it dearly. But there wasn’t anyone to clean after right now…

Zuzu’s dorsal fin rose to its full height, and she cocked her head in the direction of the door. She stood on all six of her legs, head hung low as if trying to listen in. Fiasco barked at the double doors, his own fins flitting open and shut.

The doors were pushed open from the outside, and a deep familiar voice called out. “We’re home!”

Jamie’s claws gripped into the ground as he launched himself towards the front of the castle. He saw Dasiä first since Dahl sidestepped from his husband’s oncoming advancement. He wrapped his arms around her and tackled her, his wings supporting them both on the ground so they didn’t hit it. Instantly he covered every inch of her scales in kisses, lifting her up and picking her up into a hug.

“Jamison- James! Down! I’m still hurting…” Dasä winced at the contact, a chittering purr enticing from her chest.

He nuzzled that chest, and neck, and face, having been touch starved over the days. “Oh my dears… My precious dears, all of you, home together once more.” Jamison drew in a sharp intake of breath, looking to Dahl. He was met with a sloppy and exhausted grin that left into the depths of the castle, intent on starting up a gold bath to get his essence back.

He drew away from her, looking over her shoulder towards Skallen. James gasped at the sight of his daughter, her horns broken and ragged, and one of her entire wings were gone. This was replaced with a lone amputated stump with gauze and pristine white bandages wrapped around it.

Jamison approached her, getting down on his knees to meet her height. “Oh… princess…” He croaked out, drawing her in for the gentlest and sweetest loving hug he could muster.

“I’ll take care of you…” He stated.

Here is my (For Now at least) Design of Savannah Cheetaby, how she would appear in Littlest Pet Shop: A Movie of Our Own.

In The Movie, while Most Characters will get slight new details in their Designs, Savannah will be The Only Character to get The Most Changes done to her Design, but only because she is a Pop Star who changes her look every once in a while. I wanted to give her Beautiful Long Hair, some Ear Piercings, and some Make Up on her Visible Eye (I thought she would look cute and beautiful if One of her eyes was covered by her Hair.

The Reason I say This Isn't her Final Design, because I am Not a Fan of How The Purple is saturated on her (But it does look pretty on My Phone.) I wanted her to have another Galaxy esque look, like her Last Two Variants from A World of Our Own, but The Purple came out too bright. I do like how Most of The Blue is on her, especially her Hair. Next Time I draw Savannah how she would look in The Movie, hopefully I'll get it right next time. At least she looks Close to what I have in Mind for her Official Design.

Anyway, I hope you like This Drawing (I'm Not too much of a Big Fan of it, but It's close enough to what I have in My Head.)
