Liu Yunfei - samurai shodown

Liu Yunfei lived at one point in 800 A.D. with his wife. Desiring to gain more power, he made a deal with a being calling himself "The Dark Emperor" and apparently becomes immortal due to an evil entity. However, he went insane and berserk until he was sealed in a boulder by his students, Enja and Suija. A millennium later, he is freed due to the entity leaving him to possess someone else. Wanting to redeem himself, he tracks down the entity's source with intents to exorcise it. In his ending, the entity is found in Gaoh and it begins to overwhelm its host. In order to help Gaoh, Yunfei takes possession of the monster's body and urges the free Gaoh to slay the demon. He is struck down and is reunited with his wife (presumably in heaven).

Yunfei takes most of his mannerisms from typical wuxia traits. Parallel to other wuxia borrowing some elements from real-life martial arts, his fighting style is a rough deviation of the Wing Chun martial arts. He also possesses the ability to fly.

uhh i feel like the only thing i wrote that is complete and has an angsty ending is 捡一个梦; reach for a dream bc it was a missing scene from an angsty arc of the show. or lol jk same scenario applies to 余光 (remnants of light) bc it takes place before the end of yuwu and not in one of the happier moments

nope! either i am writing for tiny ass fandoms or like, my fics don't get enough traction to attract haters LMAO

not a lot... the incomplete bingqiu au i posted has the most explicit scenes so far but i am still too shy writing it. i have to practice so that i can write more than 3 sentences of sex in a single day and actually finish the wips i started 😭

i have before! nothing crazy tho bc it was just kpop rpf and it would be like, two idols from the same company that have interacted multiple times! lmao. sometimes i think abt crossovers for cdramas that are relatively tame such as: two actors that have been in the same drama multiple times are reincaranted and those 2+ dramas are their different lives... but it's so niche in eng speaking fandom and i haven't fully written one out yet. also does it count as a crossover if u put characters from story A into the setting/setup for story B bc i do that a lot but i think that is fairly common at least for ppl to imagine

i don't think so... again, my fics do not get a lot of traction so i don't think it's likely lmaooo

i cannotttttt pick only one but ummm in the last yr-ish it's been a rotation of tantai jin/li susu + mingye/sang jiu from cyjm, mingqian from liu yao, xilian from yuwu (🤪)..... bingqiu from sv (always).... i should stop for now that's Tew Many. but i think once i finish spl, changgu will also be up there

15. What is a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

i feel like i'm cursing myself by typing this out but perhaps the bingqiu i posted one chapter of..... even if i could write all the p With p parts that i wanted to include, i was also a little stuck on the ending and idk if i would be able to write it in a way that doesn't feel like a cop out or just weak in general 😢 but i do like that au and i think my writing for it so far was p decent... so who knows...!

16. What are your writing strengths?

i think i am pretty good at dialogue that sounds 1. natural and 2. true to the characters! i try really hard to make imagery sound original(ish) and evocative, and to make a character's Yearning palpable

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

intricate plot, action, sex (takes me forever to write and haven't done it in as much detail as i would like to tbh)

18. Thoughts of writing dialogue in another language in fics?

i love it! i did it a little in my yunfei fic and instead of directly translating the line of chinese right there i just included the meaning in the next line of dialogue, like "what do you mean [thing they just said]" + i did it like that bc the tone of it just felt so much more natural to me in mandarin for that specific convo. not that it was something untranslatable (it wasn't) but it just felt comfier to me. i also like the thing ppl do where you can hover over the text and it will show the translation but idk how that html works HAHA someday i would like to give it a go

20. Favorite fic you have written?

overall i think it would be typhoon season (my incomplete but not abandoned cisswap girls ximang in hk) ! i had it fermenting in my brain for like 8 months before i wrote it, which meant i had figured a lot of the stuff for the beginning out and it was much easier to write than normal since i was not deliberating so much in the moment. i think the pacing for it was good and the reveals of backstory were placed well, and i think i adapted the characters well too even if it's only a first chapter and they haven't done a lot yet. i wanna write them again but it's been rly hard for me to think abt that specific au for many months lol. i also think my recent yzy gegedidi fic had a lot of yummy scenes even if i see some flaws in some parts of the fic's progression... but i spent enough time on it already so i will not go and fix it anymore 😌 peace

Hi anon, I am fine, I hope you are doing well too. About moving on. For different people it's different, I think. Like with LOF. Some people still love and rewatch it, some (me included) moved on from it after jiejie became a backstabber. Like, I watched jiejie's drama "Who is the murderer" because I watch all Light On dramas and it was not a pleasant experience and now I am 100% sure that I will never watch any drama with jiejie because I can barely look at her face after all the things she did to YB. I will never rewatch LOF apart of Xie Yun only edits. Other people can distinguish between the actor and the character and are still able to enjoy the drama. So it's a different experience for everyone. Comparing Luoyang and LOF. LY had better production, but it had five seconds of YB, the ship with Liuran was not as wholesome as Yunfei unfortunately so I can understand those who put LOF above LY in terms of rewatch value and fandom activity. And as for Chen Yu, people are waiting for him for so long, no wonder they are tweeting about him a lot summoning BAH to come home finally. There is also Gank your heart - high rewatch value, good script, nontoxic cast and crew, this one is loved in fandom and people endlessly rewatch it and tweet about it a lot. With Luoyang - they remember it existed when new stuff appears, like that last scene of YB filming in LY that appeared today. Plus I am sure people saved videos and photos of Baili and will keep sharing them time after time. About my thoughts on Luoyang - unfortunately CC has limited characters count and I am running out of it, so I will write few things and then you can send me additional questions about the points and issues that I didn't cover. 1. I liked Baili, his father and bro, Shen Fei, Yao Niang, Bai Lang, An Baitan, Liu Ran's uncle. I also liked Wu Zetian, her secretary and Lord Chu, but mostly thanks to actors because the script did them dirty. I liked rich props and costumes - the drama looks expensive as it should 2. Things I am indifferent to - Baili/Liu Ran cp. Not a fan of it. But many people liked it (especially comparing to gbj/wsy cp) and I can get why. YB is a master of creating chemistry with any costar. I ended up being indifferent to most of the characters, they were so lifeless and soulless, just tools for the plot 3. Things I that pissed me off - gbj/wsy cp, gbj crying scenes, "erlang erlang", liu ran's servant (the actress is good actually, but the script turned her character into the pain in the ass), endless flashbacks with songs, very predictable evil mastermind

The pursuit of the elite of science and technology affects the development of our current era. we can’t change the lifestyles of 996 (996 indicates an order made by higher levels towards employees. Working from 9 am to 9 pm, 6 days per week.) DAGA Architects bring multidimensional space and botanical garden to collide into one special office space, by giving the user a scene which they can receive a strong feeling of immersion into the scientific experiences themselves.

We set the scene of how parallel space passes through times which to pay the tribute to the movie – 2001: a space Odyssey. In order to connect each of the interior spaces into chapters when we enter the dimensions.

Chapter one / Ascent of Man In the year 2020, a luminous box descended from the night sky through a parallel universe and disappeared in Building 39, Xierqi Street, Haidian District, Beijing…

Chapter two / Through the Star Gate An ordinary building, but while we opened the door by accident and entered the multidimensional space through the tunnel of the black hole. The space seems infinite, which anything can happen here. Finally, let us begin a journey into the multidimensions.

Chapter three / Into the Eye When the door opens, revealing the eye of the multidimensional space from a lost civilization. The tunnel extends and falls endlessly through the center of the universe.

Chapter four / Alone The precise ratio of 1:4:9 can be imagined that there are already extraterrestrial intelligent lives outside in the universe. The creator of the structure is indeed very powerful, as both of the lonely valley and the golden stairwells are indestructible like diamonds.

Just like the brain of the artificial intelligence, the memory strip is built in to balance up the relationship between the lifestyle of mankind and the space environments to find the best environmental system which suits the human beings.

Chapter seven / The Room There are constant meetings about traveling through the civilizations where you can either watch for things to happen next or open up the hatch and meet the challenges in reality around you.

Chapter eight / “ Need to Know ” This is the energy supply center in multidimensional spaces. The shape of the circle simulates the eye of different dimensions, imperceptibly giving it built-in energy storage.

Chapter nine / The Secret In the hidden corner, information about the secrets of civilization was scattered everywhere. By deciphering this information, we can discover the secret in the multidimensions.

Chapter ten / The Alien Sky The rocks in multidimensions float free in gravity, giving a strong feeling of the surrounding landscape that will disappear in a sudden.

Epilogue The main design element of this journey is to find out how to define ourselves and others. The users are the space-walkers in this unknown space. They are defined as both users and explorers. We provide a space where they can digest off all obstacles and downs. Let the daily working experiences become a new discovery in a LIT office space.

Suija - samurai shodown

Suija is a demon who took over a random ninja of the Kazama clan. Suija is one of Liu Yunfei's disciples from 1,000 years ago who succumbed to the powers of the demon world. He and his brother became powerful elemental demons that were eventually sealed. However, they were able to break the seal. He possesses a shinobi from the Kazama clan, who was investigating evil energies close to the lake where he was sealed. He meant to reunite with his brother and steal a spell that Kuraki-sumeragi possessed. The spell allows demons to better fuse with a human host. With this spell, he wished to possess Sogetsu's body and mate with a woman to spread his essence in the human world. Parallel to Enja's fate with Kazuki, however, Suija is sealed in Sogetsu's weapon by Hazuki.

Although he is based on "Suija Sogetsu" from Samurai Shodown 64: Warriors Rage, he is not the same person as Sogetsu. Due to their likeliness to one another, the dubious nature behind Sogetsu's birth, as well as Suija's need for a human host, several fans speculate that he is actually Sogetsu's father. However, this claim also lacks a solid official source and is generally considered to be conjecture by fans.

Samurai Shodown V/Samurai Spirits Zero: Onde tudo começou (Enredo do Game)

Para começar esta nova empreitada, quero começar a contar a história de uma das franquias bem conhecidas de sua produtora (SNK) que recentemente, foi revitalizada com um jogo novinho em folha em 2019 e uma coletânea riquíssima faz algumas semanas, e que além disso, tem um apelo nostálgico muito forte para mim pois foi a primeira franquia de luta em que pus as mãos e joguei por várias horas. Estamos falando de Samurai Shodown (ou Samurai Spirits no Japão) e nada melhor começar a contar seu enredo pelo início de tudo.

Mas antes, é bom ressaltar uma coisinha, apesar de ser o quinto jogo da franquia, em termos de história, ele é o primeiro na cronologia da série, inclusive a cronologia da história de SW é um pouquinho confusa, mas nada tão complexo é apenas a ordem de como é contada os eventos que pode embaralhar algumas mentes novas na série.

Bom chega de enrolação e senta que lá vem a história... 

Tudo começa em 1786, um ano difícil para o Japão que está passando por diversas rebeliões devido a uma grande fome que assola várias regiões. Esse tempo ficou conhecido como a grande fome de Tenmei (The great famine of tenmei no original) muitos esperam alguma posição do Shogunato Tokugawa em relação a essa crise, mas é em vão. Diante da indiferença do shogun, o general das forças de Tokugawa e Daimyo de Hinowa Gaoh Kyougoku Hinowanokami, decide se rebelar contra os seus senhores em prol da preocupação de seus compatriotas diante do caos causado pela fome de tenmei.

Apesar da causa, a rebelião causada por Gaoh coloca várias vidas civis em perigo e visto como uma ameaça ao shogun já que quer sobrepujar o poder do mesmo. Um antigo discípulo de Gaoh acaba sabendo dessa rebelião e decide parar seu antigo mestre a todo custo. Seu nome é Yoshitora Tokugawa.

Único herdeiro legitimo do shogunato, Yoshitora estava sendo preparado para assumi-lo caso seu pai (que muito provavelmente possa ser Ieharu Tokugawa) morresse, porém ele se recusava a assumir este cargo pois queria se dedicar ao caminho da espada e decide sair do palácio para seguir seus desejos. Mas diante da situação entre o shogun e Gaoh, ele decide partir rumo a Hinowa para parar a rebelião e impedir seu antigo mentor. Yoshitora acaba de terminar seu treinamento com Jubei Yagyu, que inclusive declara ao seu aluno que ele seria seu último discípulo pois decidiu se tornar um ronin (samurai sem mestre). Com caminhos separados, Yoshitora começa a sua jornada em direção a Hinowa porém, ele não é a única pessoa interessada na causa...

Em uma floresta não muito distante da vila de Kamui Kotan, a jovem Nakoruru (com 15 anos na época) brincava com a sua irmã Rimururu até receber o chamado da águia Mamahaha que trazia a espada de seu pai. A jovem fica relutante pois não quer partir em uma jornada tão arriscada, preferindo ficar para cuidar de sua irmã, no entanto, uma estranha personalidade vinda do subconsciente da jovem aprendiz, se manifesta, frustrada com a atitude hesitante da garota decide ir até o local aonde o pai se encontra. Nakoruru (ou Rera como é chamada a outra personalidade) se despede de Rimururu e pede para que a jovem volte para a vila e parte em direção a Hinowa, mas não demora muito para que Rimururu siga secretamente a sua irmã no intuito de auxilia-la na busca pelo pai de ambas.

Uma bela jovem Chamada Mina Majikina após enfrentar e destruir um poderosíssimo Ayakashi (uma espécie de youkai) sente uma presença maligna na aldeia em que reside em Ryukyu. Ela consegue chegar até lá apenas para ver a aldeia em ruinas e sem nenhum sobrevivente com exceção de um ser pequenino chamado Chample que foi encontrado por Mina nos destroços de uma casa. Acolhendo a criaturinha ao seu lado e sem mais nada a perder, a exorcista decide matar o maior número de demônios possível e sua primeira caça seria por aquele que está causando a rebelião em Hinowa e também o possível destruidor de sua vila...

Liu Yunfei, antes um homem nobre e sábio, agora é despertado e libertado do selo que foi feito por seus oito aprendizes após o mesmo matar a própria esposa devido ao surto provocado de seus poderes adquiridos pelo demônio Kuraki-Sumeragi (O Imperador das trevas em uma tradução livre) o que acaba fazendo ele se tornar um demônio também. Agora mil anos depois, libertado pelo demônio que o transformou, ele busca se redimir pelos seus atos e decide ir ao encalço da entidade a fim de exorciza-la e destruí-la mesmo que isso ponha fim a sua vida.

O curioso é que dos oito estudantes de Yunfei, dois tiveram o mesmo destino de seu mestre, mas diferente dele, ambos procuravam Kuraki-Sumeragi por outros motivos...

Enja e Suija, assim como seu antigo mestre, também eram humanos normais, mas que sucumbiram ao mundo demoníaco e se tornaram demônios elementais (Enja do fogo e Suija da agua) e que foram selados por serem muito perigosos. Mil anos depois ambos conseguiram se libertar de seus respectivos selos que os mantinham cativos. O clã Kazama envia um grupo de ninjas para conter um dos demônios enquanto outro integrante é enviado para um lago com o objetivo de investigar supostas energias malignas que estavam surgindo dali. O resultado de ambas as missões foi desastroso graças as criaturas, Enja cai em uma emboscada armada pelos ninjas com o intuito de sela-lo novamente, mas sobrecarregado pelo seu próprio poder, acabou queimando todos o grupo que o cercava reduzindo eles a cinzas, enquanto que Suija acaba encurralando o ninja que investigava o lago e possui o seu corpo mesmo não sendo da maneira esperada. Livres de seus captores, ambos procuram se unir para ir atrás de uma magia que consistia nos demônios se fundirem melhor com um hospedeiro humano e que essa magia estava em posse do demônio Kuraki-Sumeragi assim ambos partem em busca da criatura. Após ficarem cientes dos incidentes envolvendo os elementais, o clã Kazama envia os irmãos Kazuki e Sogetsu para caça-los a todo custo, além de enviarem Hazuki, irmã mais nova dos dois ninjas para auxilia-los na busca e caça.

Um jovem nobre também decide ir ao conflito em Hinowa e deixa sua esposa gravida aos cuidados de Shizumaru Hisame, um rapaz que foi acolhido por ambos e os serve fielmente. Porém a moça chamada Hakana sente que só estará segura se a mesma estiver na casa de seu pai, sem hesitar, Shizumaru atende o pedido da jovem e a leva até a casa de seu pai e a deixa por lá. Acreditando que ela está segura, o jovem espadachim também resolve partir para Hinowa para auxiliar o seu mestre.

O ambicioso Sankuro Yorozu viu a rebelião causada por Gaoh a oportunidade perfeita para mata-lo e se tornar o novo Daimyo de Hinowa. Para isso ele ao lado de seus três capangas decidem contratar o ronin Genjuro Kibagami para dar cabo de Gaoh a mando de Sankuro.

Ao ver a situação de fome e miséria que o Japão se encontrava, a nobre francesa Charlotte Christine d’ Colde vai em direção do pais por meio de um navio junto a sua tropa, mas ao chegar, acaba sabendo do conflito em Hinowa e decide ir até lá com o intuito de ajudar os civis

Um sacerdote da tribo de Green Hell acaba pressentindo a derrota do guerreiro Tam Tam na rebelião. Temendo pela vida do mesmo decide vestir a máscara lendária da tribo e usada por Tam Tam e parte para salva-lo.

Os motivos que levam o espadachim Ukyo Tachibana a Hinowa é pela informação de que o(a) filho(a) de seu antigo mentor, Sakon Kurokouchi chamado(a) Yumeji, que inclusive foi expulso(a) do dojo da família pela natureza dúbia de seu corpo e gênero, agora é o(a) braço direito de Gaoh e o serve fielmente. Por respeito a seu mestre, Ukyo decide ir atrás do(a) jovem.

Com a situação no pais, a tristeza tomou conta da população o que acaba preocupando o guerreiro Kyoshiro Senryo que decide ir atrás de um novo estilo Kabuki e com a esperança de que a história de sua jornada (não fica claro se ele vai até Hinowa) consiga trazer a alegria necessária para os habitantes do país.

Apesar de ter declarado que irá se tornar um Ronin, Jubei decide ficar ao lado das tropas do shogunato Tokugawa na rebelião jurando ainda a sua lealdade ao shogun.

Durante o seu caminho a Hinowa, Yoshitora encontra um andarilho que também está pelo caminho da espada e busca por novos desafios e seu nome é Haohmaru. Ao se deparar com o jovem herdeiro do shogunato, o ronin o desafia para um duelo para testar as suas habilidades, Yoshitora recusa a princípio devido a sua jornada rumo a rebelião, mas promete a Haohmaru que aceitara o desafio assim que a rebelião fosse encerrada e Gaoh fosse contido. Não fica claro se o ronin se junta a Yoshitora em sua jornada, e ao mesmo tempo uma criatura de extrema semelhança a Haohmaru está causando o caos justamente para caça-lo.

Rasetsumaru é uma criatura vinda do Makai (mundo dos demônios) cujo portal foi aberto por Shiro Tokisada Amakusa há muitos anos atrás. Sua sede por sangue é tanta, chegando ao ponto de sua espada acabar ganhando um tom avermelhado devido ao sangue de suas vítimas ficar impregnada na lamina. Ao ouvir sobre Haohmaru e acreditando que ele possa estar na guerra, vai atrás dele com o intuito de pôr um fim em sua vida.

Em meio a sua busca por sua irmã Nakoruru, Rimururu nem imaginava que estava sendo seguida por uma criatura grotesca com o nome de Kusaregedo. Antes um homem bondoso, mas que secretamente praticava canibalismo, acabou se tornando um Gaki (uma espécie de yokai que pode ser considerado um fantasma faminto) após a sua morte e acabou sendo amaldiçoado com uma fome incessável por carne humana. No lugar aonde ele se encontrava, acabou sentindo o cheiro de Rimururu e começou a segui-la. Em determinado momento, o youkai ataca a menina e pretendia devora-la até ser parado por uma jovem moça pedindo para o monstro reconhece-la e o chamando de pai. Trata-se de Hakana, a moça gravida a qual Shizumaru protegia e que a deixou na casa de seu pai que era o youkai Kusaregedo. Hakana pede para Rimururu fugir enquanto tentava trazer seu pai de volta e assim a jovem a faz. Apesar dos esforços de Hakana traze-lo de volta a si e até do fato do monstro reconhecer a sua filha, o pior acontece e Kusaregedo não pensa duas vezes em devorar a própria filha viva e até então seu futuro neto. Depois do ato brutal, o monstro vai embora e nunca mais é visto desde então.

A batalha em Hinowa estava intensa e frenética com vários mortos e feridos, e as motivações dos guerreiros envolvidos aos poucos chegaram em suas resoluções...

Ukyo finalmente encontraria o filho(a) de seu mestre e agora braço direto do Damyo de Hinowa, Yumeji Kurokouchi. Antes de seu duelo derradeiro, o(a) espadachim profere as seguintes palavras...

“Ukyo, finalmente você veio, agora eu sou o braço direito do senhor Gaoh então eu lhe pergunto Ukyo, você pode ser leal ao senhor Gaoh?”

Ukyo: ... Yumeji ... por favor me perdoe.

“Eu esperava uma resposta melhor, eu estive esperando por você e agora estamos aqui. Por favor não me odeie eu não quero ver o seu sangue derramado, mas... agora eu devo te matar! Aqui vou eu!!”

A luta é intensa e de igual para igual mas mesmos com os truques ilusórios de outros guerreiros feitos por Yumeji, Ukyo consegue vencer o seu adversário(a). Derrotado(a) Yumeji implora a Ukyo por um fim em sua vida, Ukyo saca a espada e com um movimento apenas corta seu rabo de cavalo e lhe diz para ele(a) ir para casa pois seus pais estavam a sua espera e seu objetivo era tira-lo(a) da influência de Gaoh e quer que ele(a) vivo(a). Yumeji entende as palavras de Ukyo mas ao invés de voltar para casa, ele(a) resolve abraçar a religião. E devido ao seu rabo de cavalo ter sido cortado por Ukyo, Yumeji se sente desonrado(a) e não poderá mais empunhar uma espada.

A missão dos enviados do clã Kazama teve seu destino final em Hinowa onde localizaram Enja e Suija, que de alguma forma, conseguiram a tão desejada magia de Kurak-Sumeragi e agora conseguirão cumprir a primeira parte de seu plano na qual consiste em possuir dois corpos humanos para prolongarem suas vidas e depois, cada um iria se acasalar com uma humana para espalhar a suas proles. No fim os demônios viram em Kazuki e Sogetsu, os corpos perfeitos para possuírem e levar o seu plano adiante. As duplas se enfrentam em uma batalha árdua e estava prestes a ser vencida pelos demônios elementais, mas em um momento de distração ambos são surpreendidos e incapacitados pela jovem Hazuki que estava escondida e resolve agir. A aprendiz de sacerdotisa retira a verdadeira forma das criaturas de seus corpos que ao sentir a falta deles acabam sendo reduzidos a pó. Hazuki então sela os demônios nas espadas de seus irmãos (Suija é selado na espada de Sogetsu e Enja na espada de Kazuki) com isso, ambos ganharam a habilidade de conjurar magias elementais através de suas armas, com a missão concluída, Hazuki e Sogetsu vão embora levando um desacordado Kazuki que foi duramente abatido por Enja ao lado deles.

Entre encontros e desencontros, finalmente Yoshitora se encontra com o seu antigo mentor e o causador do caos Gaoh. A luta se inicia e é muito disputada, quando Yoshitora começou a ter vantagem, Gaoh o surpreende com a seguinte declaração...

“HA HA HA Estou realmente animado, é realmente divertido, mas não consigo parar minhas ambições agora. Você é um bom lutador e eu o agradeço por isso porque você acordou o meu coração humano, mas agora eu devo rejeita-lo. ”

“DEMONIO! DEVORE A MINHA ALMA E ME DÊ O SEU PODER!!!”

Em um pedido chocante, Gaoh se transforma em uma criatura pervesa e sedenta por sangue, ele havia firmado um pacto com um demônio poderosíssimo, o mesmo que Liu Yunfei Procurava para destruí-lo, o mesmo que obtinha o feitiço que Enja e Suija queriam tanto obter, o impiedoso Kuraki-Sumeragi.

Mesmo com a visão horrenda de seu antigo mentor e aliado se transformar em um demônio, Yoshitora não se abalou e uniu suas últimas forças para abate-lo. A batalha se tornou difícil devido a força sobre humana que seu mentor adiquiriu mas em determinado momento, Gaoh sentiu que o demônio estava sobrecarregando o seu corpo e começa a perder o controle. Sem perder tempo, Yoshitora desfere um golpe com sua espada e Gaoh cai gravemente ferido. Com a sua derrota, Kuraki-Sumeragi se esvai de seu corpo fazendo com que Yunfei saia das sombras e consegue derrotar o demônio porem Yunfei acaba morrendo no processo.

Yoshitora questiona a Gaoh o porquê de tudo aquilo, o porque a rebelião em Hinowa, o porquê de tirar várias vidas inocentes que não tinham nada a ver com isso. Gaoh dá uma risada fraca e diz que mesmo perdendo ele conseguiu alcançar seu objetivo, ele nunca quis tomar a posse do shogunato Tokugawa e sim chamar a atenção de seu antigo aprendiz para que ele pudesse levar o seu compromisso como herdeiro a sério, visto que a decisão do pai de Yoshitora diante do filho era indiferente ao povo e isso só pioraria as coisas no país caso ele continuasse no governo. Em seu leito de morte, Gaoh pede para que Yoshitora assuma o posto no shogun pelo bem da nação e percebendo a sua responsabilidade Yoshitora promete que fará como Gaoh deseja. Ouvindo isso o Damyo de Hinowa falece dando um fim no conflito.

Com o fim do conflito as respostas sobre alguns conflitos vieram à tona. Depois de vários embates, Rera enfim percebe que é possível soluções pacificas e que nem tudo pode ser resolvido com brutalidade e violência e assim ela parte permitindo que a consciência e personalidade de Nakoruru predominante mais uma vez.

 Ao acordar, ela recebe a visita do espirito Kamui que pede a moça para assumir o lugar de seu pai (que acabou morrendo no conflito) como guerreira protetora de Kamui Kotan e da região de Ainu. Nakoruru questiona ao espirito o que irá acontecer caso ela recuse o posto, e então Kamui lhe diz que outra garota seria a sucessora em seu lugar. Temendo que a escolhida fosse Rimururu, ela aceita assumir o posto e se torna a nova guerreira protetora de Kamui. Minutos depois ela encontra com uma desesperada Rimururu que chorava em sua procura, mas instantaneamente fica contente ao encontrar sua irmã sã e salva, ambas retornam para casa e relatam os acontecimentos que passaram durante o trajeto.

O Sacerdote de Green Hell enfim encontra o guerreiro Tam Tam porem caído e sem vida. Inconformado ele retira a máscara do seu rosto e coloca no rosto do guerreiro caído e faz uma prece para ativa-la. Assim que a reza é concluída, Tam Tam retorna a vida e o sacerdote celebra a ressureição do guerreiro.

Mesmo com a situação terrível, Kyoshiro consegue encontrar a técnica perfeita de kabuki e com ela, traz a alegria para todos os povos do país. Porém um dia ele é desafiado por um rapaz (que é Sho Hayate do jogo Savage Reign) que declara que seu estilo é superior. Kyoshiro aceita o desafio e ambos lutam. O resultado da luta não é revelado.

Com a morte de Gaoh, Sankuro considera a missão concluída mesmo não sendo pelas mãos daquele que o contratou. Com a chegada de Genjuro, o bandido já prepara para manda-lo em outro serviço, na qual o ronin recusa sem ao menos Sankuro terminar sua fala. O bandido então começa a chantagear Genjuro com informações sobre os seus pais e talvez um possível envolvimento da gangue nisso. Furioso Genjuro parte para cima de Sankuro para mata-lo, mas sua gangue intervém para salvar seu chefe. Percebendo que um dos membros é uma jovem moça, Genjuro decide ir embora e pede para que a gangue faça o mesmo, mas Sankuro decide atacar o ronin pelas costas com um tiro e começa a se gabar, mas Genjuro ataca o bandido com um golpe ferindo Sankuro e obrigando a gangue a se retirar do local.

Shizumaru presenciou muitas mortes na guerra inclusive de seu senhor e mesmo recebendo uma quantia em ouro pelo seu auxilio se sentiu vazio com isso e decide voltar para ver como estava Hakana e prepara-la para notícia da morte de seu marido. Durante o caminho, ele é parado por um homem que o chama de Yaiba. O espadachim fica confuso ao ser chamado assim e o homem fica surpreso perguntando se ele não lembra de seus pais, Shizumaru diz que não e foge confuso com esse encontro. Ao chegar na casa ele se depara com uma cena horripilante havia sangue pelo local e apenas um crânio estava no chão, depois ele descobre que Hakana foi devorada por um monstro (que era seu pai transformado). Traumatizado com o que soube mais com o que presenciou na guerra, Shizumaru decide que de agira em diante, ele decide rotular qualquer coisa maliciosa ou maldosa seja ela pessoa ou ato como um demônio.

Mesmo com a derrota de Gaoh, algo estava errado para Mina, pois mesmo ele sendo derrotado, ele não era o mal que havia destruído a sua vila que inclusive ela ainda pressentia. Porem algo acontece com Chample e tudo é esclarecido. O pequeno e inocente Chample se transforma em uma besta poderosa e feroz atacando tudo e todos que estão em seu caminho. Mina então conclui que foi o pequeno companheiro que destruiu a aldeia, decepcionada com a descoberta, Mina aponta a suas flechas para Chample com o intuito de mata-lo e diz que ela irá junto com ele depois dando a entender que ela cometeu suicídio depois disso.

Jubei juntamente ao ninja Hanzo Hattori se encontram com Yoshitora e o jovem relata as reais intenções de Gaoh e do porque ele iniciou a rebelião. Durante a conversa um membro dos ninjas de Iga aparece e relata que o pai de Yoshitora foi assassinado pelo seu secretário que estava infiltrado no shogun a mando de Gaoh. Hanzo diz a Jubei para preparar Yoshitora para assumir a liderança enquanto ele iria atrás do traidor e executa-lo e vai embora. Jubei diz que com isso Yoshitora realmente irá assumir o shogunato Tokugawa e diz que eles devem ir pois há muitas coisas a fazer. Yoshitora concorda mas diz que precisa fazer algo antes.

Em uma floresta não muito longe, Yoshitora encontra Haohmaru e aceita seu desafio proposto momentos antes dele ir a Hinowa, porém ele quer que Haohmaru o ajude a construir um novo país. Haohmaru não fica muito confortável com a proposta feita mas decide fazer um acordo. Se Yoshitora ganhar ele aceita a proposta, mas se Haohmaru ganhar ele o deixaria livre. Yoshitora aceita os termos propostos e a luta se inicia, mas não é revelado o seu vencedor.

Um ano depois dos acontecimentos, Haohmaru é visto meditando em um templo sem perceber que alguém estava à espreita pronto para ataca-lo. Depois de muito tempo, Rasetsumaru enfim encontrou a sua presa e sem nem pensar duas vezes o ataca. Mas inexplicavelmente, Haohmaru some do nada e sente um vento rápido passar diante dele. Não era Haomaru, era uma ilusão e no seu lugar apareceu uma freira com uma katana em suas mãos. A freira olha em direção ao monstro e declara que ele seria seu último oponente, e antes que Rasetsumaru pudesse fazer algo, a freira saca a sua katana e decapita a cabeça do demônio com um movimento matando sem pensa. Após o ato a freira vai embora e é descoberto que se tratava de Yumeji Kurokouchi empunhando a sua espada pela última vez eliminando o mal de uma vez por todas.

Thoughts on the Drug Hunter up to ep 15

Lol I just went on Douban for this show and saw that it had pretty low ratings. The show definitely isn’t top tier but I don’t think it’s the worst that I’ve seen. Like, there’s still a level of professionalism TDH attains that many idol dramas aren’t able to replicate for whatever reason. Or maybe that’s just the production value talking.

- So the story is about a chemistry professor who delves into the drug trade in order to get revenge for his brother who was an undercover narc. Yeah, when I first heard it I was like this sounds a bit like Breaking Bad but we know morally gray main characters would never fly in China.

- That being said, the story is still about a guy who doesn’t like to work with the police because they keep messing things up. I wish the story would’ve continued with Lv Yunpeng working things out on his own, but in episode 15 he’s starting to collaborate with the police, and I suppose it’ll continue that way. They even have the fake dating trope here as an excuse to get Lv Yunpeng and Jiang Yinian together.

- The story isn’t the smartest I’ve seen, but like, it’s kind of what I expected. People fall into traps and believe in lies very easily.

- The only reason why I watched this show was because of the cast (Yu Hewei, Liu Xiaobo, and Wang Jinsong). So far, Liu Xiaobo has appeared for two seconds and Wang Jinsong for half a second. Yu Hewei has been good, though a lot of commenters on douban have been saying how bad his acting is. I mean, he is a little old-man-ish, but it kind of suits him? If he’s too too old, then he’ll stick out in the cast too much (so that’s why he has to dress younger), but if he acts too young, it’ll just look strange because Yu Hewei is very obviously a man over 40 years old.

- The minor issue I have right now is that I don’t really care about any part of the story other than Lv Yunpeng infiltrating the drug trade. I don’t particularly care for the police officers as characters, and I don’t particularly care for his niece and sister in law either. I just want Wang Jinsong to show up soon!!!!! And I want Lv Yunfei to rise from the dead because come on, we all know he isn’t dead. If there’s no corpse, man ain’t dead.

- The police officers aren’t as smart or charismatic as the show probably wants them to be. Xu Li/Jiang Yinan started off the show with an emotional outburst, and it kind of left me feeling that she wasn’t able to compartmentalize despite having been trained as an undercover agent. Since then, she’s shown time and time again that she can’t separate her feelings for Lv Yunpeng from the operation at hand, and frankly she should really take a back role in terms of the operations imo. It might also be because I don’t find this actress’ acting very appealing. It’s probably fine from a technical standpoint, but I just don’t feel a good presence from her whenever she’s on screen. There’s nothing about her that makes me interested to see what she’s going to do.

- Wei Hai is okay, but the story would be more interesting if he was smarter and more charismatic (like Zhou Xun from Day & Night). Right now, he’s always a step behind Lv Yunpeng but without the capability to learn from his mistakes, and it almost feels like the police are unnecessary. Lv Yunpeng could frankly figure this out on his own. And Tongtong omfg. That story line about her crush on Wei Hai is soooo unnecessary and annoying af.

- The family story line might tie Tongtong’s crush in terms of how much I could do without it. Jiang Yinian and Lv Yunpeng both cannot tell Mengyao why they’re being so secretive and it’s going to cause a rift between them. I can already see how dragged out this subplot is going to be. Mengyao’s going to get deep into trouble because of her association with Wu Xinhe and then it’s going to get Lv Yunpeng’s operation in trouble, etc.

- My favourite scenes are probably the ones with Lv Yunpeng and Zhao Yi. Zhao Yi’s actor has been able to match Yu Hewei’s level imo, and it makes their scenes fun to watch, whether they’re serious or on the lighter side.

- Basically all of the emotional friendship/romance subplots are things I could do without in this show. Just give me the action.

Despite this show’s flaws, it’s easier to ignore them than the flaws in Legend of Mi Yue were. Maybe because things are actually happening (i.e. the pace is better), and Lv Yunpeng is more tolerable as a character than Mi Yue.
