ppl have asked me this so here ya go!!! tried to go in depth but if there’s anything else u wanna know i totally gotchu !! :3 (go further down for where i shop online)

When thrifting alternative clothes ppl always complain that there’s nothing for them cuz most of the time they’re just not looking right. don’t just look for things you’ve seen online, band shirts, or things with specific design like stripes, cheetah, or zebra print. look for anything literally ANYTHING and if it’s boring and plain just diy it. you want animal print? paint it. you want band shirts? paint it. don’t have the skills? trace it onto paper, cut it out, boom u got a stencil now u can use that to paint onto a shirt.

simple things like cheap blank tshirts, old hand me downs, blank tank tops, spaghetti straps would work perfectly.

i’ve made shirts from an old shirts i find in my house. i cut out a stencil and used cheap fabric paint for the logo’s and cut the shirt if it doesn’t fit right

i’ve also made shorts by cutting a pair of old jeans and distressing them at the bottoms. if i don’t wanna distress shorts i cut them a little longer and then fold the ends up and glue or sew them down (I CAN TOTALLY MAKE TUTORIALS!!)

i ALSO make my own accessories (bracelets, necklaces) from either older accessories, old clothes or whatever i find :b

Things you SHOULD NOT DO!!!

-Don’t but from shein or any fast fashion places/websites!! don’t support that kind of thing especially for some bad quality clothes..

-Don’t buy from thrift stores and resell them online for higher prices !! ur taking from ppl who actually need them and raising the prices of thrift stores. they exist for ppl who can’t afford much and you’re pricing items for more than they ever were.. if ur gna resell then sell them for the price you got them at least ..

Progress Checkup! (Aug. 2024) | Scratchin' Melodii Devlog

Hello again, strangers! I thought it was about time to add another devlog again! This time I'm trying out a more in-depth approach to this, to somewhat make up for the lack of gameplay previews. Let me know what you think!

For starters, I've revamped the rhythm system 🤯 (like... again! 🤯) Don't freak out, though. Surface level gameplay-wise, it works mostly the same as it did in the last demo, so you won't have to re-learn much. I just needed to redo some things so it'd be easier for me to work with in the long-run while developing the rest of the game. Way less headaches await me now when working on new levels. In the process, I was also able to incorporate some neat new aspects to it and make the core aspects of it better. If you're familiar with older rhythm games, it's now a tad closer to what the dog was doing.

The opponent's icon has been covered up to avoid spoilers. I might be updating all of the character icons soon, actually.

I still plan to revamp the game's tutorial at some point. Something I've noticed is that often, new players don't seem to understand the purpose of the beat dots. Initially, I thought the idea that "on the beat dot = on beat" would come as second nature to new players without need for explanation. However, I hadn't considered that many players are likely to be more familiar with rhythm games that don't even have beat dots in this manner, so they're probably inclined to focus more on getting as close as possible to matching the order of the suggested inputs, and in this game, even at the cost of being off-beat if they aren't keeping up. So, I think the most important thing I need to emphasize when I give a new in-game explanation of the mechanics is the beat dots and really getting new players into the mindset of prioritizing the tempo. I think I should also have the tutorial's gameplay portion try to discretely get the player used to the control scheme to help people who haven't particularly memorized where all of their controller's buttons are without looking. This'll probably result in the tutorial song shown in the demo being replaced in the full game. I do still like its instrumental though, so maybe that will be repurposed for another game feature, at least.

There's probably some guy out there who just REALLY loves Astral Advisory as the tutorial song that will be very upset to hear this. In solidarity with them, I've depicted their enthusiasm with this rather silly image I've created.

As for other levels, now that I've got the updated rhythm system up and running, the 3rd rival battle of act 2 is almost complete. If you didn't like the Pow-Notes in Supastar Tennis, you might not like me very much after this! So far, I think this level has some of the best and most ambitious animation work I've done yet, so I hope you'll look forward to it. Not sure when I'll show a gameplay preview of this level, but I probably will at some point.

Also, I've made a new logo for the game! I'll gradually be phasing this one in to replace the old one, but until the full game releases you'll probably still see the old one hanging around too in some places.

LBB MrLucas Form Fitting Jeans & T-Shirt

Revival of a MTS mesh from 2006. I always liked MrLucas' edit of the overhang shirt but its more athletic and slimmer shape didn't match anything. But it did make it a good fit for the LBB shape! Uses 9 of the original 15 textures (too many black t-shirt options), and I also added 6 of Pepperdawg's short-sleeve University logo recolors. Lot of recolors but you can always pick and choose what you like. I also made some slight mesh edits to the shoes. I like how this turned out! 2K poly.

Available as everyday for YAM. Compressorized and BSOK'd.

umhairSixty Default Replacement (all ages)

My first hair default and boy did I make a lot mistakes. Trotlyka's version of 3t2 Choppy replaces umhairSixty and I added PM and CM ages. TM thru EM are animated. Available for all outfits. 3.3K poly.

Here is my first mural-esc collection of designs, I'm def going to be doing future edits to these fellas because I'm not the happiest with the amount of consideration I put into the role and designs compared with the way I did for my BG, Sheriff and Kittysaurus designs.

I redid the logo

because when it played along side the little jingle in the beware the spider video I was so hooked on that idea, I think the instructional videos being a common place thing consistently throughout the chapters would be awesome and if I could I would go back and make them to help out with some of the poor tutorial-isation in the earlier chapters defiantly having one each chapter but I digress. I like the little cannon chime that plays with the logo a whole lot :D the font I used for the word 'Kindergarten' can be found here: https://fontmeme.com/fonts/tropical-jungle-font/

For both Banban and Banbaleena I gave them both name tags as they (in my mind) both have teaching roles in the kindergarten but also because the other characters refer to them not with their character names but with their doners names, I gave Dr. Uthman some arm hair because I thought it could be interesting if he had, after being alone for so long, tried his best to make his current body more inline with his self image of being a middle aged man. Mrs Mason i have given less attention to but i can see her having an interesting dynamic with captain fiddles (whose design is the same) as they both have more central teaching roles and (i like to think) an appreciation for learning of any kind.

Stinger Flynn and Jumbo josh are both pretty self explanatory, i tried to make them both look more like their animal doners of Jellyfish and Gorilla, Stinger has stinging tentacles an his burn scar and josh jus got that more monkey grin

Nabnab and Nabnaleena are the cutest and i tried like josh and Flynn to make em look like spiders more, and i made their weird ass tongues a gradient, also fuzzy butts

Then their is Opila who is still just analogous bird.. I don't see her as a flamingo i think it suits her better to be a pseudo mother hen, even if she is more on the prehistoric side kind of. I am going to be doing Tar Tar bird and the chicks on a later date :D

and finally Slow Seline, i gave her a little tooth gap and just know she is the sweetest. also no more tripped out huge pupils, congrats seline, u my acception

Happy (Symbolic) Birthday Amarion!

As you all know, I am very normal about these two characters, so let me show you my little Amari-Mario collection to celebrate! Most of it's hand-made or locally sourced because this woman is BROKE, so keep that in mind. Also is raining outside, so sorry for the photo quality.

Let's start with my little Pripara corner in my Magical Girl cabinet! Here sit my Mario and Amari Plushies. Amari got it for a steal on Zenmarket because the house she came from had cats and that's apparently a reason to mark down the price. Mario was commissioned to my local plush maker and I later added the Full Metal Rabbit buckle myself (Is made out of cardboard, sticker and uv resin.)

I hand made these light sticks after watching a tutorial on instagram! I think is a fun item to have for an idol anime, and they are not particularly hard nor expensive to make.

I also got this broken Candy Alamode pripass for cents on Zenmarket, and I turned it into an Hysteric Bunny one! The design is based on the Hysteric Bunny card. I cleaned up the bunny logo myself, and asked a friend of mine to make it into a phone strap.

At last, here is my pride and joy! This one took months to make! As I said before, I am broke, so I can't really afford to buy badges from japan (They might be cheap by themselves, but the Amari and Mario one's usually don't sell in bulk, so between shipping, taxes and commission it get's out of hand) so instead I spent hours searching and researching to find good quality pics of different badges, edit them and send them to my local print shop to turn them into these monstrosities. is this morally dubious? Yes! But I would never use my editing powers to just resell a replica.

I also added the Pritickets I made because I didn't want it to be an itta bag of just can badges. Oh, by the way, two of them at the top at not official art, but fan arts by あいる on pixiv.

I hope you liked my little tour. Now, to wait for my scheduled Idol Land playing time to pull for their banner. Because I might be a punk, but I'm a punk with STRUCTURE!
