So let me preface this by saying there's a huge difference between Turkish shows on TV versus digital mediums (like Netflix). For TV shows, they have to fill 2 hours so there's a lot of ridiculous nonsense that gets put in as filler. Additionally in the past few years, the government in charge has been a conservative party and they've come down hard on storylines that depict anything they view as going against Muslim standards. It's a lot of bullshit actually, and it's ultimately changing the industry for the worse. It didn't always used to be this way. Some of the best Turkish TV shows are those that actually showed depictions of humanity (the good, bad, and ugly) especially as it translated to female characters - but that was before the current regime took over and started impacting the entertainment industry.
Some of my favourite Turkish serials:
-- Kiralik Ask (TV , so lots of fillers but I loved the main couple).
-- Kuzgun (TV, male lead is the same as Kiralik Ask. This is probably my favourite Turkish TV show).
-- Love101 (Netflix. Actually shows Turkish teenagers behaving normally instead of the super sanitized versions on TV).
-- Hayat Sarkisi (TV, but aired before things started going downhill. You actually get to see the female protagonist do a lot of shitty stuff but she is AMAZINGLY portrayed).
Things on my current watchlist:
-- Fatma (Netflix. Same lead as Kuzgun and Hayat Sarkisi. She's a great actress).
-- As the crow flies (Netflix. So far very interesting, again showing layered female characters).
-- Kulup
The following popular Turkish TV shows became really huge hits in other countries but I wasn't a fan of them. That being said, you may enjoy them:
-- Erkenci Kus
-- Sen Cal Kapimi
Anyway, if you do get a chance to watch any of these let me know your thoughts. I'm always happy to watch Turkish stuff :)

Guys I’m so weak for this thing between sinan and isik like this is the type of naive love I want, someone changing alcohol for chocolate milk and studying to explain it to me even tho they never opened a text book in their live, I want the hand holding and the long gazes and the skipping school to make soup because they are sick, I want the thoughts about a possible boring future because it now doesn’t seem as boring anymore, I want the remarks about an old painting and to be thought of everytime they see it, I want the first kiss underwater because that seemed like the best option to finally and I want the little muffin with a candle on a boat in the middle of the sea surrounded by city lights, I want someone who will always somehow keep you in their life no matter how mad they are at you and someone who speaks of you as of you put the stars in the sky

It’s so funny to me that we all feared that one of them would be dead (and assumed it had to be sinan since he was suicidal all his youth) because we only saw three people receive a letter and in reality it was just sinan who didn’t get a letter because he was married to isik all along :‘)
