i just witnessed Percy Jackson & the Lightning Thief: The Musical for the first time ever in my life and-

the production was held by a high school and the effects were certainly that of a high school production. but the music??? the acting??? ive listened to the original soundtrack from the broadway show or whatever the fuck its called, so i knew what i was getting myself into but i didnt know. seeing it in person is, in fact, so much worse than just listening to audio recordings i am telling you now if you yourself have not seen this musical. luke's renditions of percy's "good kid" at the end? dont fucking touch me rn. "and maybe if id been a little bit-" i was not prepared for that. the actors did such amazing jobs. they were truly fantastic and i will praise them until i die. ALSO

Hades??? they made him so sassy and dramatic and he was wearing a sparkly purple tuxedo and i just. i love him. he can do no wrong. he was a fucking mood okay. i dont know if any of his lines were stuff the highschool decided to add to the play to spice things up and i dont really care. i have found my favorite rendition of hades. Sometimes it’s nice to imagine what might have been. That’s where AU fics come in, and you’re about to write one.

Choose one of these points in time to begin your AU story:

During or after Emily

During on after Closure

During or after Requiem

During or after Existence

During or after season nine episodes Jump the Shark, William, Release, Sunshine Days, or The Truth

During or after The X-Files: I Want To Believe

During or after season 10

During season 11

And choose one or more of the following things to happen before or during your AU story:

Emily lived and Mulder and Scully got married

Emily lived, a bunch of her hybrid siblings were found, at least some of them plus Emily went to live with Scully, and Mulder and Scully got married 

In seasons 5, 6, 7 or 10 a case turns out to feature one or more of Emily’s hybrid siblings

Emily’s coffin was empty because the Consortium or the greys took her after immediately after her apparent death, which Mulder and Scully learn about later

Instead of Mulder seeing Samantha’s 14-year-old spirit, he’s reunited with his still 14-year-old sister

Mulder isn’t abducted at the end of Requiem
