as someone who doesn’t tend to leave the house (or even do that much in life in general), this week was a particularly out-of-character one for me.

Hi guys,

Guys I think I found my best beauty bargain to date! If you are a fan of Bobbi Brown you know well that their products are very high end luxury price ranging. Since I'm new to shopping the brand I want to try out lot's a products without spending too much! Last week I was visiting the London Designer Outlet at Wembley and they have a Beauty Cosmetics outlet shop. I managed to spot the Bobbi Brown Intensive Serum Foundation SPF 40 for £19.00 instead of £58.00!!!

Now would I have tried this foundation if I had to pay £58.00? Obviously No, I know I tend to spend on skincare a lot but foundation is £35-£40 Max. You can imagine how surprised I was and even more surprised when they had my shade (perks of being fair). Now let's chat about the product itself.

On Bobbi Browns site this foundation is highly rated because it infuses skincare and makeup while also being a SPF 40 formula. I picked up this radiance-boosting foundation in the shade Porcelain which is described as an extra light beige with a balance of yellow & pink undertones; for pale skin. Like I said this foundation has skincare benefits to leave skin looking smoother, plumper, and more radiant instantly and over time. It also offers 12-hour medium-to-full colour-true coverage, non-caking, non-creasing, non-streaking, non-poring and is Sweat, water-resistant. Obviously that's a lot of claims but for £58.00 I'd want the foundation to do a lot.

I've worn this foundation a few times already and the formula feels so lightweight on the skin and yet offers amazing coverage on your complexion. Personally I'm enjoying a more glowy face base this year compared to last year and I was surprised how well it lasted on my face given the glowy formula it has. While I'm really enjoying the formula, I wouldn't necessarily repurchase this foundation unless I found a really good price for it again. Now the weather is warming up in London I wanted to share with you some of my favourite lightweight facebase products. All products in today's blog post are drugstore beauty products so they are more affordable than some of my luxury favourites. I have been LOVING a more natural foundation product recently and you can tell a lot of makeup brands are going for more lightweight / natural inspired launches. Let’s get chatting about my favourites.

My first favourite is Maybelline Super Stay up to 24H Skin Tint Foundation + Vitamin C , £12.99. I have been using this Skin Tint for maybe 2 months now and I am obsessed with how amazing it feels on my skin. This skin tint includes vitamin C so it brightens your skin and includes skincare benefits. It has buildable coverage and a drop applicator so it's easy to apply to your face. I personally love how long lasting the formula us and it doesn't fade during the day which shows how long wearing the formula us. It's such a easy product to build up that one day you could have a real sheer coverage finish and the next you can build up to a full coverage finish. Out of the 3 this is definitely my most used product.

My second pick is the L'Oreal Paris True Match Nude Plumping Tinted Skin Serum, 1% Hyaluronic Acid , £14.99. This was the first skin tint I ever used and this really made me fall in love with more lightweight facebase products. This particular product has 9 super blendable shades and as the formula is sheer it is easy to blend on to a variety of skin tones, leaving skin with a naturally luminous finish for a flawless nude look. Though it's worth mentioning the Maybelline tint has a wider shade collection with more specific shades. With Hyaluronic Acid this skin tint is a mix of skincare and makeup and really makes my skin feel good while I'm wearing it. It is a lightweight formula that gives my skin a lovely radiant finish and is also buildable.

The last product is also a very new edition to my collection the NYX Professional Makeup Bare With Me Blur Tint Foundation , £9.99. Like I mentioned this is new to my collection but so far I'm enjoying the finish it gives my complexion. This tint blurs your complexion and is one of NYX's first skincare infused products. It gives your skin up to 12 hrs of hydration, and gives you a demi matte flawless finish. If you don't like a glowy face base then this product might be more for you. This product makes your skin look so smooth it's basically filtered which is pretty impressive for a lightweight formula foundation. It comes in 24 shades and is a medium coverage product so again if like more coverage and less glowy finish compared to the other options this could be your new best friend.
