Moustaches and mullets are somewhat in fashion with young adults these days. So it’s totally plausible that a 25 year old dipper tries to grow out a moustache and a mullet. Everyone else hates it. Dipper is trying to convince everyone it’s cool.

It's known fact that people calling Lando's hair a mullet drives me up a wall. I know, it's just a haircut. It's not that serious.

But it's not a mullet. A mullet is a completely different hairstyle. A mullet is long in back and short in front. Lando's is the exact opposite.

A quick Google search would confirm that it is not mullet, even if people don't want to believe it at face-value.

Doesn't matter. People keep calling it a mullet, even if it's wrong.

So everyone gives up and just decides it's a mullet, even though it's not, because it's easier than arguing with people who REFUSE to acknowledge what's correct.

It's not about the mullet.

It's about how refusing to acknowledge facts and accepting wrong things as right because it's easier has become the cool and normal thing to do. It's the unwillingness to do a moment of research or learning or critical thinking.

Take a look around. The mullet doesn't matter. But this is the same attitude people are having about things that DO matter. It's infuriating and horrifying and I don't know how to get through to people that anti-intellectualism and not understanding the concept of opinion vs reality is leading to an illiterate and easily manipulated society full of young people that don't know or care about right and wrong or fact and fiction coupled with older people who are exhausted from arguing with them.

(It's still not a mullet though.)
