Leanna tips her head back to rest against your shoulder, sleepily rubbing her face into the side of your neck. The hand she raises to touch your face is wet, soapy and warm; under the water, her skin’s soft, smooth, and you can’t stop skating your hands up and down her sides, enjoying the way she twitches as you brush over a ticklish spot on her ribs. She runs her knuckles down your jaw, eyes already half-closed as she leans back against you.

“Wake up.” You turn your head, press your lips to the skin behind her ear. Speak into that quiet space. “Don’t fall asleep.”

“Fuck off.”

You flick water at her again, and Leanna giggles, pushing herself a little closer to you. She still doesn’t open her eyes. You press another kiss to that same spot, close your teeth over her earlobe and bite, too gentle to cause real pain. Leanna hums, tilts her head. Shivers when you blow lightly on the damp skin of her shoulder, lazily counting her ribs with your fingers.

“This was your idea.”

“Mm.” She pushes closer, slides an arm around your neck. “Terrible idea.”

“One of your worst,” you agree, dipping your head to kiss the muscle of her shoulder. “Just really awful.”

“Let’s never do this again.”

“Absolutely.”

You tilt your head, lips meeting hers, and the kiss is made messy and unco-ordinated, both of you smiling too much to make it work.

i don't think i have answered this question before but even if i Had you wouldn't need to be sorry angel <3 anyways law school is Intense to say the least (lots of reading, heavily weighted exams/assignments--my corporate law class has a final that is worth 85%--etc etc). and as someone who is a bit stupid, it can be challenging reading bc the language is often very old and inaccessible and needlessly complex lol (i've read cases that were easy-ish to follow to prove that not all judges need to write their judgements in this out-dated, clunky way tho so...)

BUT despite the fact that it's challenging i do find it very rewarding because i like the law and find it genuinely interesting tbh! and i like to think that it's valuable information im learning, because im learning things like My rights (for example i dont like...trust the police, and it's good to know what protections there are in dealing with the police--i think of a time my partner had a weird interaction with a cop outside of our building and the cop threatened him basically but the cop was NOT in the right, and i know this because of my education! but my partner as someone who is Not legally trained didn't know and could be more easily taken advantage of), and also learning negotiation skills that are genuinely applicable in every day life, and things like that. it's unfortunate that law is as inaccessible as it is btw that i only am really learning a lot of this stuff now, but i hope that can change in the future

another love language of ours is listening to music together. i think while yes i listen to a lot of pop too, our tastes are very similar. so taking the public transport while standing side by side while sharing earbuds is very typical for us<333
