You love that David Jenkins embraces fan art? Taskmaster creator Alex Horne regularly seeks out and talks about kinky RPF about himself.

You love how OFMD is refreshingly earnest and non-cynical and features a diverse group of people working together? Come on over and cheer for teams of grown-ass adults collecting spoons with a magnet or trying to drag a gargantuan duck to a pond without touching the pineapples.

But the best, the best, the best thing about Taskmaster is that there is just so much of it. Series SEVENTEEN starts airing in a few weeks. There are THIRTEEN international spin-offs, two of which are as good as the original. The entire thing--the entire thing--is available for free on the show's official youtube channel.

No waiting, no angst. Taskmaster is sweet and silly and fluffy and endless. Taskmaster wants you to be happy. And you deserve to be happy.

Fancasting a Little Fires Everywhere musical!

Alison Luff as Elena 

Someone suggested we bring Reese back for a role reprise, but I’m a little dubious as to whether she’ll carry over the show’s Elena or if she’s going to change her portrayal to be this Elena, who’s much truer to the book. That being said, she’s a great actress and I think she can adapt, not to mention that casting her as Elena in an LFE musical would really draw audiences in!

I’ll cast the Warrens as pairs (in no particular order, though if I needed to pick who originates them, I’d say Krysta and Linedy):

Denée Benton and Talia Simone Robinson as Mia and Pearl

Krysta Rodriguez and Linedy Genao as Mia and Pearl

Eva Noblezada and Kaitlyn Santa Juana as Mia and Pearl (Ng mentioned that having an Asian Mia made her too obviously likely to side with Bebe as a factor in leaving Mia’s race ambiguous. That being said, why not have an Asian Mia, specifically a Filipino Mia?)

Back to the Richardsons:

Mallory Bechtel as Lexie

Josh Strobl should be allowed to understudy both Trip and Moody, but I don’t know who would be a good principal Trip or Moody.

Mimi Ryder as Izzy/Eliza Holland Madore as alt Izzy (I think she’s probably the only one who needs an alt because she’s the youngest)

No clue about Bill.

The Ryans:

Robert Ariza as Mr. Ryan

I don’t know who should play Mrs. Ryan alongside Denée as Mia or Krysta as Mia, but I want Arielle Jacobs as Mrs. Ryan with Eva as Mia.

I don’t know who should play Bebe or the McCulloughs. Zachary Noah Piser seems like a good Ed Lim. (What if Ed Lims were also understudy Mr. Ryans and once Robert leaves, he takes over? As much as I’d like him to originate Mr. Ryan, I don’t know who could play Ed Lim other than Zach.)

Roman Banks as Brian

Young Mias/understudy Pearls:

Phoenix Best as Young Mia/understudy Pearl with Denée Benton’s present-day Mia.

Isa Briones as Young Mia/understudy Pearl with Eva’s present-day Mia.

Honestly, by this point, Krystina Alabado feels like she could be a Young Mia/understudy Pearl for Krysta’s present-day Mia, but I’d also like her as Mrs. Ryan for some reason? I feel like she’d be better as Young Mia/understudy Pearl because they’re more uncertain characters and she does well with that type, but at the same time, her Mrs. Ryan would be so heartbreaking and authentic.

Still undecided as to Young Elena or Pauline Hawthorne.

Roland "Roland King" LMS Kitson 0-3-0ST

Roland is a hard worker since day one! Despite him being a small shunter, never underestimate his size! He might not be as strong as the other engines but he has a heart of a lion. He is not afraid of picking fight with anyone who have conflict with him or his friends. But being tougher than your real strength can have it downfall sometime. Losing his peers to modernization and dieselization, having Madeleine and Archibald being the few still standing by his sides. Roland is highly protective of them. He's willing to ignore and look past all of their flaws and throw hands with anyone who disagree.

Honeybee and Cooper are the first diesels he fully open up with, eventually becoming friends outside of his own little circle.

He's that one aggressive short friend

Dandy "Dalan 'Dandy' Robinson" BR Class 52

A goody two shoes one might say. Dandy is a perfectionist. He absolutely want things to go smoothly always. Unlike Shepherd who do it out of his own bossiness, Dandy do it out of pure fear, the fear of getting scrap like his sibilings and other engines. This boy feel the NEED the impress people, he need to show his worthiness to stay, He want the others to thing he's perfect both mentally and mechanically and there's nothing that could go wrong with him!(Oh how wrong he was) Leading him to often push himself beyond his limit. This combinded with the flaws of the class 52 caused him to breakdown sometime, leaving him distressed.

He have sight problem, His old crews somehow managed to convinced the higher up to install glasses on him

Point out any of his flaws and he'll think about it for the next 3 weeks

Madeleine "Mary Rosalie Sabilline" L&YR Hughes 4-6-4T

The most sensible and open minded of the steam trio. She's often one of the few voices of reason on their railway beside Hila, the first diesel she fully open up to(YURI ALERT!!!) The only thing that hold her back from solving the conflict is her insecurity. She's very wary of how the others think of her, especially her best mates, Roland and Archibald. Because of this she's very careful with her usage of words and how she spoke with the other engines, she doesn't want to upset anyone afterall!

Want to keep Roland and Archibald from doing stupid shit but scared it might damage their friendships

Hila helped her become more confidence
