PART IV: LIVING THE LIFE OF A QUEEN

Living her life to the fullest at the age of 27. Maine is happily together with her king/boyfriend Arjo Atayde who is also a famous Filipino celebrity. 

Maine is very thankful towards GMA 7 and to her Eat Bulaga Family for giving her the opportunity to live the life that she's been living now. She is now a host of TV5' reality talent show called "POPinoy" with her Eat Bulaga co host Paulo Ballesteros, although Maine still appears as a host in the noontime show Eat Bulaga. She also appears in some commercials and television series.

Currently, Menggay owns five franchises of a famous fast food restaurant "Mc Donald's". 

From a young introverted woman who secretly dreams of becoming an actress to one of the most Famous celebrities in the Philippines and a well known entrepreneur. Maine do have a variety of skills that open up opportunities. In 10 Years she will be living a stable life. Happily married and has her own Family. She can be a bigger star than she is now because of her astounding talent.

Maine Mendoza. One of the most inspiring people that I know. It wasn't an easy way for Maine to live the life that she's been living now. She worked her way up to the top with her amazing talent of giving Joy to the people. She made a lot of viewers laugh, cry and love her. Maine is truly inspiring because she said in one of her Interviews that her greatest accomplishment is that she somehow made people happy. 

Menggay has been truly an inspiration not only to Filipinos but to people all around the world. Just like Maine, I also would love to be an inspiration to many people. Showing someone that impossible is just a word is truly amazing. She made us realize that dreaming is not all about just dreaming. We have to do something and take action to make it happen.

Last week gumawa kami ng music video ng pamangkin ko kasi wala talaga kami magawa. Hahaha. Naimpluwensyahan ko kasi sya ng pagkahilig sa Gracenote, kaya sa youtube yun ang pinapanood nya. Madali nya nakabisado yung kantang Parang Kailan Lang ni Maine Mendoza at Gracenote, kaya naisip ko irecord. Game na game naman sya magemote kasi wala din talaga syang magawa hahaha.

Isa Pa, with Feelings.

After 9 days of waiting, I finally get to watch Isa pa, with feelings starring my forever girl crush, Maine Mendoza and Carlo Aquino. Actually, I kind of expected that the movie has that cliche love story line between boy meets girl and so on but this is different. It has a substance. I'm telling you. It has its own depth that I don't think I'd ever grasp. The first hour of the movie will make you kilig. Seryoso. Pero nung mga last minutes na ng movie, wala na iyak ka na hahaha. Alam mo yung naiiyak ka at the same time kinikilig ka. Ganon na ganon.

Breaking down, Maine, the natural comedienne she ever was, made everyone laugh without trying hard. She matched Carlo's award winning acting. The very thing I like about Maine is that she's not trying hard to be someone else. Kung ano sya na nakikita natin sa TV bilang host, comedienne and actress is ganon din yung pinapakita nya whenever she has to act. She was so natural to the point that I can relate to her cry. I mean the close to ugly-cry type. Ayokong magcompare pero gagawin ko na hahaha kasi lots of artists cry na parang sobrang perfect na nung iyak nila while her, grabe totoong totoo. Sobrang honest nung feels na pinapakita nya na parang iisa lang si Maine at Mara, which should be the goal in portraying the character. She's putting herself na in the character's shoes tapos ni-level up nya pa. Saan ka pa? Grabe kay Maine Mendoza ka na. Charot. Hahahahahahaha. Nag improve sya sobra. And Carlo, wow. Hands down. No dialogue, all sign language but you can feel him through his facial expressions. This movie tested Carlo's credibility as an actor and I can say that he did a great job. Kung paano sya magalit only showing emotions and hand signals. Grabe. Nakakadala. Lalo na yung iyak nya sa mga last parts ng movie. He proved how great of an actor he is. +10 pogi points bebe ku hahahaha.

Sad lang kasi medj nawala sa focus yung pangarap ni Mara na maging licensed Architect pero overall, balanse yung mga scenes. Hindi ka magwo wonder na ay bat ganon. Pero sa totoo lang nakakabitin sya hahahaha I mean gusto ko pang panoorin ng isang beses. Talagang mapapa Isa Pa, with Feelings ka. Pero yung part2? Wag na. Hindi na kaylangan kasi naresolve na yung conflict e. Siguro kung paano na lang yung buhay ni Mara at Gali habang magkarelasyon sila, ganon. Ang angas nung cinematography. Solid preh. Tapos puro beauty shots pa ni Maine hahaha. Pati paggamit ng symbolism like yung kwarto nya magulo kasi nire represent non yung buhay nya after nyang bumagsak sa board. Then yung kwarto ni Gali na may aquarium. Yung whole movie nga parang shinoot sa loob ng aquarium e hahahah. Ang cool. I rarely recommend movies but this one, grabe, panoorin nyo. May bigat at may lalim. Not your typical storyline. Napakaganda ng pagkakagawa. This is Maine's best movie and I think Black Sheep too.

My favorites scenes were:

1. Doorbell-Christmas lights. Medj teary eyed ako.

2. Mara's Buwan interpretation. Sobrang tagos. Ang effort. Kilig na kilig ako ron. Ikaw ba naman gawan ng ganon hindi ka kikiligin.

3. Yung confrontation scene after nilang mabangga. Preh sobrang galing nila ron. 10/10 yung acting. Tangina iyak ako ron e HAHAHAHAH tamang singhot lang para di malaman ng katabi ko na naiyak ako hahahaha.

4. "Then I'll be deaf for you." AAaAaaaAaaAaaAAAAA!!!!!! Nakakatouch na nakakakilig na nakakaiyak. Kung hopeless romantic ka gago like me papangarapin mo mangyari sayo yung ganon hahahahahaha. Wala na gusto ko na ng jowa!! Hahahahaha.

5. Yung pag-tap nya sa dibdib ni Gali nung medj nagfreak out si Gali. Ewan ko pero nakaka-kalma sa part ko.

I am obsessed!

Yes. I am obsessed with this baby 😍

First of all, I am so proud of Maine (not that we're close or what but), for being the 1st Filipina to be a MAC Maker.

Secondly, can we just take a moment to see how aesthetically pleasing that packaging is. Bomb!

For me, this is just the perfect nude. Not too pale, not too pinky, not too peachy and not too brownish. The trademark sweet scent of MAC lippies is still there, don't worry.

For those of you, make-up addicts like me, I would definitely recommend buying this lippie. It's creamy, it has a sweet scent plus this shade will definitely be flattering on all skin tone and any occassion. 💄

PART I: THE QUEEN HAVE JUST ARRIVED

Actress, model, comedian, host, writer, singer and the Queen of Dubsmash. A phenomenal star. A woman who showed the world that impossible is nothing but just a word.

Nicomaine Dei Capili Mendoza. Widely known as Maine Mendoza and for her role as Yaya Dub in Eat Bulaga's Kalyeserye. 

PART II: QUEEN'S FOUNDATION

Meng had a wonderful childhood, thanks to her Family. She is very close to her supportive Family. Meng considers her Sisters as her best friends and her Father as her biggest fan and supporter. She has four siblings, two men and two women. Just like Maine's name that starts with "Nico", the name of all of her siblings also starts with "Nico".

Since Menggay was young, they have a cousin of her dad who has been living with them named Pepe. Maine greatly cherishes Pepe since she was the one who's taking care of Meng and her siblings along with her Parents.

She finished her high school at St. Paul College of Bocaue in Bulacan. Meng was a pretty quiet and introverted student who dreamed of being a Flight Attendant. When she was in High School she was bullied because she was an introverted person, but her friends helped her cope up. She completed a bachelor's degree in hotel, restaurant and institution management with a major in culinary arts at De La Salle-College of St. Benilde. She had her internship at The Sagamore in Bolton Landing, New York. Being an actress and being able to act on screens was Maine's secret ultimate dream. She never told any of her friends or anyone about her dream of being an actress because she doesn't want to be laughed off, and in her perspective that time is that being an actress is too impossible for her to achieve because she doesn't have any idea nor talent in acting.

PART III: BOW DOWN TO THE QUEEN

When the application "Dubsmash" was introduced to the world, the shy, quite and introvert Maine disappeared. She decided to leave her comfort zone when she was a student and started using the Dubsmash application. Due to Maine's undeniably great performances in Dubsmash, people started to call her the "Queen of Dubsmash". In the early part of 2015, Mendoza posted a Dubsmash compilation on Facebook, in which she impersonated another famous Filipina personality Kris Aquino that went viral with one million views overnight. 

She was casted as Yaya Dub in a noontime television show in the Philippines called Eat Bulaga. Yaya Dub's rose to fame when her undeniably chemistry with her co host Alden Richards was seen by the viewers. After one episode of Eat Bulaga showcasing their chemistry, the love team "AlDub" has commenced. Their pairing resulted to their wide exposure and to the further increase of the TV ratings of Eat Bulaga.

Some famous Filipino slangs and actions were created because of the love team of Yaya Dub and Alden Richards such as, the "Pabebe Wave", "Aldub You" and "Ma-alden Kita."

Maine is also considered as a fastest rising actress in the showbiz business. After the Kalyeserye series in Eat Bulaga, Maine successfully showed that she is more than a comedian. In the 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival, She was honored as the Best Supporting Actress for her role as Anna Carillo in the Film "My bebe love: #Kiligpamore" which she co starred with Alden Richards and the Famous Vic Sotto and Ai-Ai De las alas.

After that Maine took part in a lot of Film projects such as "God gave me you",  "Imagine you and Me" and  "Destined to be yours". 

Maine became a fixed member of Eat Bulaga. She is able to travel to different countries with her co hosts to shoot some episodes and have a memorable time with them. Some of Maine's Films were taken in different countries. Such as some of the scenes of "Imagine you and Me", It was shot in Como, Italy.

Maine's rise to fame didn't affect her personality. She is still the down to earth Menggay that her Family treasures.
