Okay so I've been thinking about Avatar the Last Airbender again lately and of course, the Wingfeather Saga and I wrote up a whole post about that the other day that's in my drafts but I NEED you all to hear this concept that just made me WHEEZE and start laughing out loud.

Toph in the Strander Burrows.

They have TUNNELS specifically made so that they can sneak up into people's houses and STEAL from them, can you imagine the CHAOS this child could wreak both on the unsuspecting populace of Dugtown and on the Stranders themselves by CHANGING tunnels that have been in place for a hundred years or more on a WHIM because she CAN.

Initially I thought of Maraly introducing her to them but now I'm wondering if it would be funnier if they're just NEMESISES. Like, lil Shadowblade Maraly chasing lil Blind Bandit Toph through Strander Burrows, popping back to the surface when Toph tries to lose her by CHANGING THEM or opening walls or something but Maraly knows EXACTLY where the tunnel comes out so she just goes there anyway. Toph keeps bending the metal in Maraly's knives she throws at her so Maraly starts making knives out of other materials (and like, it could be something semi-reasonable like bone, but imagine her just sending a letter to Kalmar like "hey I need some of those glowing stones from your basement to defeat my nemesis" ASKFHDGJFAL;KD).

Gammon is trying to figure out how to adopt Toph aklfjdgsfa;dksl he's hoping the girls will just work things out and end up friends (spoiler: they do, eventually, and THAT'S when they really get chaotic and Gammon regrets ever wishing they were friends).

TWS gang, please, hear me out.

So, I still got wingfeathers in the brain (I'm starting to think I may never get rid of it...) and one of my favorite fairytales has always been Beauty And The Beast.

Since exams week has been draining me, why not come up with another thing to daydream about?

I present you... The-Wingfeather-Saga-Beauty-And- The-Beast AU!

The Jewels And The Beast for short.

Or Jewels and The Cloven.

Or Jewels and The Birdman.

You'll see.... Just bear with me.

I'm debating in whetever Esben or Artham should be the "beast". In one hand, it would make sense for it to be Esben since he's all bear-like but I would also like it to be Artham since we have more information about him and what he's like. But either way, the "Beauty" is none other than our favorite jewels, Janner, Kalmar and Leeli.

Here's the idea: so, the kids still live with Podo and Nia in Glipwood. However, in the Glipwood forest, there's an abandoned castle. (Bonus points if Artham is the "beast" cause then it could be Peet's castle only bigger and creepier) Podo goes on a trip for whatever reason, and ends up being taken by the oh-so-horrible beast of Glipwood. Danny, the horse, comes back to the Igiby cottage where Nia and the kids get nerve struck when they find the horse without its rider. Nia leaves to get help to find Podo leaving the kids alone, and one thing leads to another, they decided to go to the forest by themselves to rescue their grandpa because main characters moment. There, they meet the "beast", and bargain to stay as prisioners in Podo's place. Podo obviously tries to fight, but ends up having to flee, leaving the kids as captives in the castle.

The "talking objects" are the Glipwooders, plus a few other characters from other regions. We got Oskar, who's a book, (are you surprised) and basically takes the role of Cogsworth. We also got Addie and Joe, Maraly, Sara, Thron, Rudric and others. (No, I haven't thought of what objects they would all be, sorry. You can suggest in the comments tho!) As the story goes by, it focuses mainly on the kids bonding with either beast! Esben or beast! Artham, and teaching about kindness and stuff. The "rose" would be a set of three actual jewels, that may or may not represent the kids themselves. Meanwhile Gnag, will be the one to take the role as Gaston. Unlike in TWS, Gnag will pretend to be the good guy and the whole town loves him, (like Gaston and the villagers) so when Nia and Podo announce that the kids have been captured by a beast, he will try to play the hero and claiming he will "rescue them". However, what Nia Podo and the Glipwooders don't know, is that Gnag is the one who helped to turn Esben or Artham into a beast in the first place, along with the Stone Keepers (who take the role of the Enchantress). Gnag knows that Janner, Tink and Leeli are the Jewels Of Anniera, and has only been waiting for the right moment to strike, to capture them and begin his plan on taking over Skree, the Hollows, and the lost Shining Isle, which everyone believes to only be a legend.

Anyways that's all I got for now.

Maybe I'll write a small fic or something on that in the future...

Hello fren :D. How are the baby kittens doing? Well, them and their moms (and that one uncle just chilling lol) also how are you? Have a good day! ( I hope you don't mind me always saying that lol, it's sort of a habit xD)

Hi! Sorry for the kitten update delay, it's been busy around here, especially since the baby babies are finally getting big enough to do, well, anything. xD

Maraly's kittens are two weeks old! They're getting so big and fluffy, they can hear and their eyes are all open now! They have started clumsily trying to play with each other, clean themselves, and toddle around. They're absolutely precious and they look like baby Ewoks.

^That is Gray, the firstborn and, apparently, first at everything! She (pretty sure it's a girl) was not only the first kitten born, but the first to open her eyes and (along with her sibling, Four) the first to start toddling! She also might be the first kitten to genuinely start to like me. xD

And this^ is one of the little black ones. All Maraly's babies are over 11 ounces now! Gray, as of today, was 12!

Leeli's babies are also doing well, though we've had to keep a closer eye on them. The littler ones sometimes struggle to gain weight with their three bigger, fightsy siblings! I've been taking away the three biggest ones when I weigh them and putting them on a blanket and/or heating pad outside Leeli's box (still in her pen, she can hear them and see them if she sits up) and letting the three smaller ones eat alone for a bit before putting the bigger three back to help them.

Leeli's babies have started to open their eyes too! This is one of the little ones, it's hard to tell them apart (sometimes the only way to do it is by their weight) but I think this is the runt!

^those three are from last week when Leeli's were littler, but they're so stinkin' cute I couldn't not include them. <3

Maraly and Leeli are doing well! They are very good, VERY attentive mamas! Maraly RUNS to check on either litter of babies if she hears them cry and has started the classic mama cat thing of snatching the baby back and carrying it to safety if she feels it's in distress. Which can be difficult when I'm weighing the babies. xD Leeli somehow looks better after giving birth to and feeding six kittens than she did on the streets, which is a testament to the care and love we've been giving her.

Leeli did have a seventh kitten that was stillborn. It was not born alive, because it had never moved from the fetal position. Leeli took SUCH good care of it, not only had it been thoroughly cleaned, but my mom said that when she found it in the morning the kitten was tucked in with the others and it was warm. So it was simply not meant to make it.

OH and KALMAR! Kalmar is neutered now!!!! So he shall stay the sweetest, happiest little guy. He was traumatized by going to the vet for a few days, but he's recovered from that and he's back to being his happy, purry self. <3

Soooo basically i’m gonna rant about WFS season 2 bc I have no friends who like it and need to get this off my chest.

!!SPOILERS FOR THE WHOLE BOOK AND SHOW!!

In episode 1 i reaaaaaaally like that they put in the explanation for Podo hating Artham/Peet, it would be kinda weird if he was just being mean for no reason. And the rockroach! It was so cool! Glad to be rid of Zouzab (Me and my siblings were rooting for his death lol). When Peet got captured i was like “noooooo” but also “yes yes yes my favorite part is coming up”

In episode 2 I was just sad bc NUGGET NOOOO!!! Poor Leeli 😢 But also, i was aggravated with Kal and Janner bc like Janner is being pretty mean and Kal is running away from his problems. I was kinda sad that we didn’t see Podos nightmare too.

In episode 3 I was just like MARALY AHHHHHHH and PODO STORY OMGGGGGGG and Kalmar, what were you thinking. It worked, but still.

And last, but definitely not least, episode 4. At first it was like mm ok kinda boring but whatever and then it was like yay McHiggins! and then it was like OH NO DONT TRUST HIM! and then SONG REPRISE??? THE IGIBY FARM ON FIRE IS THAT YOU??? and then THE FORID SWORD OMGOMGOMG AHHHHH I LOVE HIS THEME! yeah so that’s it.

EDIT: I JUST WATCHED EPISODE 5 AND AHHHHHHHHHHH! Ok i was like “Ugh here we go” and then i was like “OMG OSKAR YASSS” and then “KALMAR HOW COULD YOU BE SO STUPID??” and then “huh they’re kinda over using ‘The Igiby farm on fire” then “OMG A ‘WAITING FOR SOMEONE REPRISE! IT FITS TO WELL AHHHH” the “OOP OSKAR” the “oh yeah pie” the “MATTHEW RHYS I LOVE YOU AS THE FLORID SWORD DHWBGDGE” THEN “OH FRICK NO JANNER” then “Kal… WHAT THE ACTUAL FRICK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!” then “WAIT!
