Like... Jean-Paul literally confessed to Marc that he's loved him for decades? Pined after him through everything they've been through? And Marc just had absolutely no idea? Like this is GOLD and yet it's SO rare of a pair I'm just-

He can’t say that he saw Marc’s body, because he didn’t, but everyone had been very sure that no one had survived the massacre except Jean-Paul, and him only through some miracle no one could explain. “Didn’t take,” Marc replies.

OR: When Jean-Paul wakes up after Sudan, he's convinced Marc is dead. Meanwhile, Marc is convinced of much the same. They find each other in Croatia, six months later.

Meanwhile Jean-Paul is like 'Marc I love you but you are Fucked Up' and then he just keeps following him anyway cuz he's a lil crazy too. And if they kiss it's even better.
