genuinely i think hoseok would benefit by getting to be one of those artists that disappear for like 4 yrs before dropping the most elaborate thought out concept album of their career and then disappearing again . i think most of bts would benefit from this. many k-idols would benefit from this actually but unfortunately we live in a world where so many great artists have to meet a false and inflated demand and performance rate that makes no sense and leaves no room for curation or experience to feed the work they put out . this is not a new or unique or deep sentiment . but its a bummer nonetheless .

I was in a comment section (ill advised) where people were talking about the Jezebel stereotype and how it applies to rap stars like Sexxy Red. It pisses me off cause it reeks of false concern. Ur using a term that doubles as a diagnosis so you can sound like a therapist, but you sound like a nun. Sex addiction isn't a real diagnosis, and even if it was I'm 90% sure you are not a therapist. I feel like people who say shit like this know the optics of calling women whores and trollops so now they've shifted to pitying the poor skanks around them. They aren't even saying "she's being hypersexualised" or "her behaviour is being construed as hypersexual" they say shit like "she IS hypersexual" like its some flaw within her.

The idea of degrading behaviour is entirely made up, and I doubt the same complaints about hypersexualised behaviour would be made about artists like Sabrina Carpenter. I just. Get. Annoyed.

need people to realize an alternative to places like Etsy isn't a start up brand that doesn't show an item up on a Google search but should be something that is COMPETITION to Etsy or whatever site.

there are some places and alternatives to other sites like social media stuff but that's bc social media changes and is at the whims of the Internet while shopping? businesses? that's not easy to change

if an artist swaps to a different site and pulls their stuff from Etsy, chances are it will cost them more than it will boost them. someone who could have bought from them will still use Etsy and just buy something from someone else.

people who keep their shops up on Etsy aren't bad people, they literally have no choice when it comes to an algorithmic based search engine and popularity. you cannot tell people to just stop selling on somewhere because it could literally be their only income. unless y'all are planning to buy and boost artists who swap platforms, don't blame them for staying on one of THREE sites that come up first in searches for handmade products.
