Alright guys, hear me out (Sorry in advance for the spelling mistake, English is not my first language) :

Imagine Ghost, for whatever reason, managed to get his hand on the bullet that hit Soap.

(either by picking it up from the ground in the tunnel or by asking the Surgeon who operates on Soap, idk)

And like, some times later, the whole team is having a party (once again, either the anniversary of the incident or for Soap's first mission after it) and Ghost gives Soap a small box and inside it...

A necklace with the fucking bullet as a pendant.

Queue to Soap wearing it 24/7 and showing it off to everyone, saying this is better than any medals he ever received.

Ghost and Soap staring in disbelief at each other while the strange top hat wearing man riffles through a bush and finds a dirty coin.

Layton "ah hA! We'll need this."

Ghost "can I kill him?"

Soap "not yet"

Haha, yeah that would be so funny, even if I see more Alfendi working alongside the 141 ('cause he's a policeman yk)

But Hershel is a fun idea too !

Imagine if he was with Soap in the Alone mission, his help would be very welcome (since he can craft a lot of stuff with anything)

I mean, this guy canonically built a machine gun with a disassembled slot machine after all...
