Piofiore: Episodio 1926 Part 2 - Orlok Route

I don't really remember liking Orlok's original route but I do remember being very frustrated with it haha. Raul is hot. I completely forgot that they're not in Burlone and are in hiding. I wonder what will happen now since they want Orlok to go back and fulfil his disciple duties. Kinda cute seeing Lili and Orlok take care of kids at the church though, they're so sweet. I'm glad Orlok realised that leaving Lili here by herself is dangerous as well and that it would be better for her to be next to him so he can protect her. OH, I didn't realise that Dante died as well, is everyone dead or something?? Well I guess they are... Anyway, didn't expect Raul to be a distant relative of Dante, is that why he's hot? Okay, Gil is alive🥲 One thing I do remember is Luca's death. I didn't remember that it was in this route, but now that they're visiting Luca's grave..then yeah, it's terrible to think about. Luca was so young and full of life... Honestly though, I can't even blame Leo for hating Orlok because I remember when I finished Orlok's route, I hated him too haha! Maybe not as much as the Gil in his route but I still did! I've kinda come to terms with the whole thing but yeah...still sad to think about how Orlok killed them. I'm glad Henri is helping out, even if just temporarily, I like the update on all the Mafia families because I needed it for a refresh haha!

It's quite sweet to see that Henri wants to help them because he doesn't want to see another Key Maiden suffer, very understandable. Seeing Orlok really appreciate having someone like Lili want him to live and live with him regardless of their "sins" brings a tear to my eye though. The boy has suffered alot regardless of how I feel about everyone's deaths and it's sad to think about his life because it's just terrible. Dita degli apostoli looks so good (after googling). It's funny that Lili is the one more self-conscious about Orlok but I guess that's to be expected considering Orlok's life. Well, Johann isn't cute at all~ Raul just keeps looking more and more hot though. I hate seeing Leo be suffering in such anguish, it's just so sad. Especially when he remembers how kind Nicola and Dante was to him. Gil being Gil and not the crazy Gil is always welcome, loved how thoughtful he was to have Orlok and Lili have a cute gelato date. Orlok protecting Leo and not wanting to kill anymore kinda reminded me of Rurouni Kenshin haha, just that painful lesson of learning what it means to kill people and how much pain it causes to others, and then not wanting to do it ever again, that feeling just really pierces my heart. Lmao when Orlok said he would eat more so he can grow and be as big as Gil so Lili can rely on him haha! It was so nice to see Gil adopt Leo into his house lol. Oliver being obsessed with the greatness of potatoes is hilarious. I'm glad Orlok told Lili that she is who she is regardless of the fact that she's the key maiden. She shouldn't be burdened by something that doesn't define her.

Anyway, Raul was a disappointing guy, and I felt so bad for Oliver but at least he could joke about his injuries, he's very strong for mainly being the lawyer treasurer guy of the family! I feel like Johann ended up being dealt with as a side plot at the end even though it felt like he should have been the main plot lol. Seems like Emilio reincarnates with his memories all the time as the guardian of the Falzone or something, and really wants to properly die so hope he rests in peace. Lili and Orlok going to Venice and travelling around is quite cute. Orlok's tragic ending was pretty cruel. I felt so bad for him that he had to keep killing and killing to protect Lili. I wonder why Teo hates Lili so much but anyway, this ending was just full of torment for Orlok as he had to go against his convictions and kill again. I'm glad that Lili didn't listen to Orlok at the end and instead chose to die together with him because she wanted to bear everything he has to bear as well.

Overall, I feel like Orlok's route had good ideas but it didn't seem to really focus much on either one - being the existence of Raul as the new Falzone leader, Johann the new disciple wanting revenge for his brother and Leo wanting revenge for Dante and Nicola. Raul was definitely the most disappointing because he barely had a role and basically did nothing and was just a pawn for the tragic ending. Johann had a better role and I enjoyed how he had a proper reason for wanting revenge even though we don't really know his brother and the trial and the church was at fault, not Orlok but it was understandable since they're all brainwashed into blaming everything else except the church. But it was still kinda a weak story especially in the good ending when Johann feels like an afterthought even though they focused quite a bit on him in the beginning of the route. Leo was definitely the one who had the best reason, mainly because we got to see flashbacks of how much Dante and Nicola meant to him, but also because throughout the game, we've seen how much they mean to Leo and how happy he was with them, so I honestly couldn't help but agree with that desire for revenge. It's terrible, it's painful and it was just hard to watch Leo be so tormented. But I guess no one was as tormented as Orlok as he did all he could to not kill people anymore but everyone really wants to test his limits and make him break his conviction. Personally, I quite liked the tragic ending because it was interesting to see Orlok's pain and how difficult it was for him to handle the idea of "needing to kill" again. But otherwise, I enjoyed the little dates Orlok and Lili went on, I just kinda wished there was more romance because it felt like there was no romantic progression at all!

Long Post: The Ssum Review (After 2 days of game play!)

Okay so, The Ssum. I'd say my enjoyment of it is around 50%.

Good Things:

The thing I'm enjoying most is incubating emotions! It's fun to see what each one will result in, even though it's boredom most of the time right now lol. I DO have the subscription, which is making things more... enjoyable. Wait times are cut in half and the chance of getting a varied pool of frequencies, emotions, and gifts are increased. I'm not sure if I would enjoy it as much without the subscription, so 1 point for that. I feel like more ways to get emotions for the incubators would be good though.

Teo's personality is nice overall! I also like his voice. He also sends a lot of pictures which is also nice 🤭

Sunshine Shelter!!! The creatures are adooooorable and although you have to buy more creatures (for me at least, thus far) I don't think $1.99 is too steep of a price. It’s also so cute seeing the creatures at the bottom of the screen pls I will die of cuteness overload!!

The galaxy/planet place (lmao). Really cool concept! It's like our own little universe inside the app. The planets are really pretty and well designed, and the different themes are awesome.

The Not-so-great Things:

Chatting with Teo is super limited. I bought the subscription, which includes free calls, but it seems (so far), that calls are also very limited. I'm not sure if the price of the subscription is worth free calls when those free calls end up in constant voicemails. It's also a bit jarring to go from being able to chat and call multiple times a day (Mystic Messenger) to only 2-4 times a day. It makes sense since there is only one person but still. I'm a bit miffed.

The private account. Again, a part of the paid subscription but he doesn't use it every time you communicate. I'm aware it depends on your choices whether he writes something or not, but still, I'm paying a large amount soooo I feel like it should be used more frequently. It shouldn't be dependent on your choices.

The choices. Some choices are highlighted because they lead to a specific response (I think?), but not everyone will want to choose those (it isn't their personality, they like a different choice better, etc), so that kind of sucks. Also, choosing the highlighted choice doesn't guarantee said specific outcome. I chose one with a phonecall sign on it but there was no phone call. I did call him though and he answered, so maybe that's what it meant! If so, the first thing still applies.

The Neutral Things:

The chatrooms/forums. They're nice but I don't really have an opinion of them. There're TONS of posts so it can be overwhelming, but they're relatively easy to use. To post or not to post? That is completely up to you! Lol, although posting does give rewards.

The interface. It was confusing at first but you get used to it after a while. I don't hate it but I don't love it. There's a lot on there and I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing just yet.

The Subscription. Okay, I have the aurora subscription. It's $24.99 plus tax. A lot. Is it worth it??? I'm not sure yet. The boost in manufacturing emotions and stuff is VERY useful. So far though, that is the ONLY thing I'm enjoying. Its use for Teo has been extremely limited. As mentioned before, the extra $6 from the evolution package is Teo's secret account and there isn't a guarantee he'll use it often. The free calls have also been pretty useless (for me!). It's been pretty disappointing overall. It's only been 2 days so things could definitely change though!

So! Those are my thoughts right now, at the end of day 2. The Ssum has been okay, average. Here's to hoping things get better bc I absolutely won't be doing 200 days of this if it doesn't. I’ll do another one maybe in a couple of weeks. Thanks!

Headcanons are fanon! That’s why they’re so much fun! I ship Kuzaang like there’s no tomorrow, but I can also acknowledge that there wasn’t anything in canon that demonstrated Aang having a crush on Kuzon. Kuzaang is strictly fanon, and I love that about the pairing! It means I have incredible free reign, hehe.

But yeah. I don’t think it has anything to do with their different nations! Like I said - it’s probably solely an issue of some shippers (and undoubtedly just a loud minority) treating the headcanon as canon.

So what do I mean when I say that I personally feel there’s no canon basis for Zuko having a crush on Katara? Well, for one, he joined the Gaang in episode 12 of Book 3. That’s episode 52 of 61 overall. So in everything prior to that, Zuko not only has no idea who Katara is but he is also neck-deep in imperialistic rhetoric (you know, racism, superiority complexes, all that jazz. not fun for anyone non-FN). No possible crush there. In “The Western Air Temple” episode itself, Katara (understandably) threatens Zuko. She means what she says, and I think Zuko recognizes that. A crush there wouldn’t make sense - they’ve only properly met this second time and Katara (understandably) hates Zuko’s guts for what he’s done to the Gaang and to her personally.

Episode 53 is “The Firebending Masters” - Zuko’s too hung up on his firebending not working to think about anything else (Katara obviously still does not trust him yet, either, meaning Zuko is pretty much on edge around her. again, she threatened him, and Zuko no doubt took her threat seriously).

54 and 55 are “The Boiling Rock” episodes; not only are these Maiko-heavy but also in general… I mean, Katara’s not really in them. At least not from Zuko’s POV. So nothing implies a crush there. And then after those episodes, it’s worth considering that Zuko probably thinks Mai is dead. That he left her, the girl he loves, to die at Azula’s hands. We know Zuko tends to hold guilt to his chest, so concluding he blamed himself for Mai’s “death” is not illogical. Why would he all of sudden switch his sights to Katara, even if it was just a simple crush? While he’s grieving? That doesn’t track to me.

And then, of course, “The Southern Raiders.” This episode has been talked about to death, so I’ll keep it brief, lmao. I will draw attention to only one line, spoken by Zuko:

This isn’t fair! Everyone else seems to trust me now! What is it with you?

As we all know, TSR was not a flattering episode for Zuko. He was a racist asshole to Aang and - as aforementioned - acted as if he was entitled to Katara’s trust. Obviously, Zuko grows through the episode, and we see by the end that he respects Aang’s wisdom and respects Katara’s decision to walk away from Yon Rha (which is awesome!! I adore this brief but incredibly crucial arc of his!!). But my point is that nothing demonstrates romantic interest from Zuko to Katara. If anything, his initial motives are pretty damn selfish (i.e. demanding her to trust him because he feels like he “deserves” it already).

Emphasis on “initial” motives, of course. Obviously he grows more sincere!! (Tis the point of the episode for Zuko.)

So they end TSR on new, peaceful terms. Personally, I don’t think their relationship would be magically sunshine and roses after that (Zuko did some fucked up shit to the Gaang, lmao), but I do think things are getting better between them! Still, there is nothing indicative of a canon crush.

Next episode, in EIP, they scoot away from each other at the possibility of being together, yk? That doesn’t mean they hate each other’s guts, lmfao, but EIP is meant to depict imperialist Fire Nation propaganda - who wouldn’t be uncomfortable with that? Like, the entire Gaang is demeaned in that play. There’s nothing romantic about it. It’s a similar situation later with June - this is a lady that doesn’t know anything remotely personal about Zuko or Katara. Of course they’d react in a horrified and flustered manner when this - for all intents and purposes - total stranger suggests that they’re together! That’s creepy as hell! Definitely not indicative of a crush, lmao. And considering that the Gaang never teases Zuko about having a crush on Katara (compared to how I think Toph teases Katara about Haru?), i.e. the people who know them the best, there’s no reason for the audience to think anything is going on between them.

And after all that… Well, now we’re in the finale. What time is there for romance? There’s a reason the canon couples don’t reunite until after the war is won! (Minus Sukka, I guess, but they’re not professing their love on the battlefield, per se, lmao.) Zuko chooses Katara to go with him because she’s a powerful waterbender and the only person who’s been able to handle Azula in the past (besides Aang, arguably, who’s obviously occupied with Ozai), not because he “likes” her in a romantic sense.

All of this is to say that to me, Zuko having a crush on Katara is strictly fanon. Which is awesome! Fanon is fantastic, and I actually really like these types of headcanons (like, Teo having a crush on Aang? GOOD SHIT). Some people are just jerks about it. That said, I can still understand why people might get frustrated by those who preach this headcanon as if it’s pulled straight from the text itself. I absolutely think it’s ridiculous to harass others over a headcanon (which unfortunately you see on both sides of the ship war), but in that same vein - of course it’s frustrating when those loud few act like their fanon is canon and proceed to shove it down others’ throats, lmao. It’s an imperfect situation, basically.

TL;DR - The headcanon in itself is great, and no one should be getting freaking harassed over it. But it is strictly fanon, so when some shippers treat it like canon, that’s understandably going to frustrate the rest of the fandom. Headcanons are a double-edged sword, lmao.

So that’s my personal theory as to why people get pressed over this headcanon. If anyone else has a different idea, please feel free to rb/comment with it!

That's a tough one anon, because I like so many ships 😂

But my no. 1 for ever and ever and ever would have to be Taang. I've shipped them from the first time I saw "The Swamp" episode when it originally aired and no one can change my mind on them being my OTP.

The rest aren't in any particular order, but I guess these are the rest of the top five.

2. Sokkla: I like their vibe. Those two just seem really hot together. quite honestly, I like any mix of the water tribe siblings dating the fire nation siblings because no matter who it is it could be hot. Azutara, Sokkla, Zukka, Zutara. I vibe with all four ships.

3. Tukka? lmao is that their ship name?? Toph x Suki x Sokka??? I think they would be a great throuple, but is definitely a slept-on. There would be so much humor and wit in this trio. In general, I'd love to see and write or draw more atla throuples. idk. tokkaang (Toph x Sokka x Aang) would be an interesting or taangko (Toph x Aang x Zuko) would be interesting. Also Jetkotara (Jet x Zuko X Katara) is a good one. Throuples in general. I also like @der-andere-aang's idea of Teo x Toph x Aang. there are tons of other thouples I could vibe with but these are the ones that came to me first lol.

4. Mai Lee: I just think Mai Lee is cute. They already have a great friendship and the happy girl with goth girl couple is always fun.

Okay hello I am back to get way too into this au! Also I do technically write, in that I love to outline the hell out of something and then never put real stories together. This is my favorite part, and the compliments from you and @zukkau have made my day. :)

I think it was @procrastinatingqueen who mentioned Sokka dating Suki in a Zuko-Left timeline and it got me thinking about the band situation. Let's say the band is three members at first - Sokka, Suki, and Jet. (He's a shit but he deserved better....) Sokka lands them the gig, Suki is adrift and immediately on board to bounce. I like the fanon that the modern Kyoshi Warriors are a roller derby team, but regardless they're not quite an anchor for her and might even push her to take the opportunity. Sokka is the same. I imagine he and Katara are navy brats, they're used to moving and his sister just demands tickets and facetime calls, "No I don't care how tired you'll be."

Jet, though. He's not the primary caretaker on paper for Smellerbee and Longshot but he's the de facto caretaker. He can't just *do* that. So they replace him - Haru? Teo? Jin? I'm not picky, a handful of canon folks would work. So newly single Sokka goes off with Suki and their new bandmate, and Zuko is simmering on the fact that he's touring with his ex and probably always wanted her anyway. (Probably not, I imagine Suki has at least one supportive partner in their hometown, but maybe also yes for drama?) And Jet, who understands commitment to passionate goals and hard-won family, who now also understands the anger of being abandoned by Sokka in some way, is just so conveniently there. Like, they're not healthy together for sure. But Jet would be chill with Zuko keeping his emotional distance (whether real or just perceived) because Jet also does that?

I promised myself I wasn't going to send you a novel and here we are. But I haven't nailed down why they come back - end of tour? Do they piggyback onto another tour immediately or is this a relatively short separation and the aftermath is still messy?

Hello! Okay, yes, let’s run with this.

(I like that we now definitively have both a Zuko-Leaves Timeline and a Sokka-Leaves Timeline lmao)

I am proposing: front man and lead guitar Sokka, punk drummer Suki, Haru on bass. (If you wanna make it 4 - Teo on keys.) Of course Zuko would assume the worst, what with Sokka and Suki touring together (and probably misjudged Suki’s reasons for how eager and down she was to just up and leave) but we, the audience, know that she has a covert thing going on with fellow-roller-derby-skater Ty Lee; it’s probably pretty low key for the professional sake of the team.

Sokka and Katara growing up being moved from place to place, and therefore Sokka going on a new adventure with minimal reservations makes sense, I approve. Also Katara and Aang would definitely tag along for at least one leg of it for fun until they have to return to whatever careers/education they persue in their own lives.

I LOVE the idea of Jet and Zuko being brought together by scorn (and I love the way you phrased it - seriously dude I know you said you rarely go further in writing than an outline but that’s a tragedy) it slots in nicely with the canon. I’m a big believer that Jet was a traumatised child in the show and I think translating that into him being A Massive Shithead in fics can be a bit of a played out trope. It’s high time for Complex Character But Not Terrible Person Jet™️. I think they’d bond nicely and, in addition, I think because Zuko never got that whole older/younger sibling dynamic growing up he would adapt and be really good with the freedom fighters.

Whilst we’re looking into how the other characters slot in; Toph? Mai? Azula? What are our thoughts for them? I like to think Toph would be the one to set Zuko straight in the end with his constant moping and pining (I think their friendship was and is chronically under-utilised in both canon and fanon) but I can really see it being any of them.

Dw about not sending a novel, I’m happy to talk about this au all day frankly. I can see them being gone for a while, long enough for Sokka to assume Zuko has moved on etc. I’ve had multiple suggestions for why they come back but a common one is the good ol’ visiting the family excuse. Galaxy brain rachel @zukkababey immediately suggested tis the damn season by taylor swift as a fitting song and I think that works really well - idk if they’d celebrate Christmas per se but I can deffo see them coming back for at least some holiday or celebration. The Legend of Dragoon Part 3 - Fate and Soul

I remember Furni! It's such a cool town but so inconvenient at the same time lol, because you literally need to row a boat to go anywhere, including your own house lol! Lmao when I lied to the hotel person about being part of the defeating Kamuy hunt and she refused to give me the license to go on the boats loll, I had to be honest that Dart just came here and then she would recognise him as the heroes of Tiberoa loll. Anyway, I'm glad there was a good ending for Kamuy the wolf because it really just seemed to want to protect Teo and only became "savage" due to some other monster or something. Glad Shana helped it with her Dragoon Spirit. Speaking of Shana, I feel like she's really matured and become strong after getting together with Dart, it's really cute. And considering how the people in town talk about fairies and how Meru said she's been to Mille Seseau but was a bit shifty about it, I assume the Wingly Forest or whatever is here? Anyway, I guess Haschel really is Dart's grandfather considering the lullaby Shana learnt from Dart is what Claire used to sing saying she'll dedicate it to her future child? On another note, I completely forgot/didn't realise Neet/Dart's original hometown was in Mille Seseau so he's originally from here! Loll at Meru taking the opportunity that since Rose left to do some errands, she's going to run and do some too lol.

Wow, Deningrad is beautiful! Lmao at the guy near the entrance shivering from the cold and trying to run on the spot to warm up hahahah, that's exactly what I do when I'm cold🤣 I love how the other person walking around is like it's a warm day today because the sun is out lmaoo. Hmm that Divine Tree legend is interesting. Like, the idea of the land being filled with nothingness until Soa descended and sowed the seed of the Divine Tree which grew 108 fruit that were all different life forms, and that was how all the different species were spread across the world is a pretty interesting idea. So the reasons the Winglies reigned during the Dragon Campaign time was because the Gods gave them that power, and it was when they lost it that the humans were able to prevail? Hmmm, and now the Gods are on or are the Moon that Never Sets watching over the human age? Ohh the current Second Sacred Sister of Mille Seseau, Sister Luanna is also a survivor of Neet's tragedy 18 years ago! Kinda cool how the Queen and the Four Sacred Sisters govern over this land though, very different from Serdio and Tiberoa where they just have a king. Hmm, well, it seems like according to the legends, the Black Monster is basically some sort of monster of destruction there to kill the Moon Child that supposedly purifies the world and calls the Gods to earth. Which is interesting, because considering the "incorrect" decision of the Gods giving Winglies enough power to rule over everything and make humans slaves, are the Gods coming to earth really a "good" thing? In a sense, couldn't it actually be that the Moon Child is the one that brings destruction by doing that? I mean, what if the Gods want to "purify" the earth by destroying everything and just starting all over again?

I see, so Rose went to visit Neet and she meets Luanna! So, I guess if the Black Monster was looking for Princess Louvia in Neet and on the ship, the princess of Mille Seseau is the Moon Child and thus, Shana. What, the Moon Child's power causes everyone around them to become an evangelist for God, making them a servant to prepare for the descending of the god??? So that's why the Black Monster kills everyone who has made contact with the Moon Child, because they're probably essentially "contaminated". On the other hand, with Meru, I think there's a good reason as to why the Winglies hide themselves in a boundary to separate themselves from humans, and make it taboo to leave the forest, I mean, would humans even view them nicely? How can they trust that they won't be killed? I really love the home of the Winglies though, it feels really high tech and fun to teleport around lol! I feel sorry for Meru's parents though, they must be really happy to see her, but welcoming her would definitely earn the ire of everyone else.. Are the Winglies planning to kill the humans one day like the Bardels said? Will the cycle of killing continue? There's another Dragon and it's waking up?! No wonder the Winglies are on edge if the ancestors with the strongest magic power can't defeat it... The King of Dragons with seven magical eyes sounds scary lol, hmm the Divine Dragon huh? Ohhh the Dragon Buster was from here! I wonder if the Dragon Block Staff is enough to protect them..Aww...Guaraha is such a nice childhood friend, he's willing to go against everyone to protect Meru if need be. I can understand why Meru won't stay, not only does she need to help Dart and them, if she did that, Guaraha would be hated too. I hope Meru reciprocates his feelings one day though. Aaaand it seems like the Divine Dragon's seal has been broken somehow~

Well, I didn't expect the Divine Dragon to fly over Deningrad and cause damage to the city like wow. Ohh, so Miranda is the First Sacred Sister. I hate the part where the White Silver Dragoon Spirit rejects Shana and goes to Miranda because Shana isn't able to maintain it anymore or whatever. It's honestly just so heartbreaking to see everyone have to leave her here in Deningrad by herself when she used to stand by them too. I think it must have really hurt for Shana to ask Miranda to take care of the rest because it really hurt me to have to see this happen to her. All she has wished for all this time was to stay by Dart's side and yet she can't even do that now in her condition... It was really sweet that Meru got to talk to her parents properly, and to see her father really happy to see her, their hug was so cute. Surprisingly though, most of the Winglies are so welcoming! Like, they trust Dart and them because the Ancestor said to invite them in to talk about borrowing the Dragon Block Staff to block the Dragon, but wow, I guess they must really respect the Ancestor above all. Omgg, the Bardel brothers hate humans because their little sister followed Meru out to the human world thinking it was wonderful but then ended up getting killed by humans... that's so terrible...

It's kinda sad to think about how terrible the Winglies in the past were, especially since they even made a Coliseum for different species like humans and gigantos to fight to the death against each other for entertainment... Honestly though, I wanted to have a neutral opinion of Miranda since so many people seem to dislike her, but omg I think everything she says is just so...infuriating? Like, I just kinda ignored it when she asked whether they should force their way through the Forest of the Winglies to get the Dragon Block Staff initially, but seriously, which part of that is a good idea when you have no idea where it is and are you literally prepared to kill the Winglies to get it? How selfish can you be when you're asking them for something. And then now that we're talking about getting the Dragon Block Staff into our hands, everyone alongside Dart willingly offers information because they all know that if they want to defeat the Divine Dragon, they all need to co-operate and do what they can to stop it. Her "it's none of your business" when they asked something was just so rude, it's hard to even think of her as a companion. Honestly, it's okay if she's a rough person, but her attitude is the worst. Like sure, she's with people she's not familiar with, but she does realise that these are people she's going to be risking her life with, it wouldn't kill her to try and understand them more. Anyway, I hope she gets more understandable or bearable as a person because I dread using her in battle when I see her lol, doesn't help that I've never been a fan of the archer in the game since it has no Addition. Anyway, the Grand Jewel protecting the staff was much easier than I thought, maybe because I didn't need to rely on Dragoons at all lol, easily killed with Additions and having a therapy ring. I guess it was good that it kept hitting Meru and she had the therapy ring loll. Otherwise, I didn't even need to turn into a Dragoon, I feel like I should have turned into one for 2 turns just to see how strong it gets when it uses the staff against you haha.

It's so terrible to see the Divine Dragon destroy Deningrad like that, it's sad that Dart and them were too late. I actually think it's pretty cool how there's such a nice variety of people and reactions though. Some are hurt and scared, some like the items and weapons shop believe that they need to keep doing business and there are people like the hotel owner and the clinic people who are preparing to take in patients already. I guess the good thing about Miranda is that she's a reliable big sister to the others lol. It's sad that Shana is so perplexed over her powers, but at least she was able to save the people in the palace with it. And it's nice that Miranda is gentle and kind with her, also it's nice that she wants to fulfill her promise with Shana to "take care of the rest" as well as fulfill her obligations as a fellow Dragoon. It's so cute how Meru said she understands how to care for others due to Dart and Shana, it is true though. I feel so sorry for Shana that we have to leave her yet again to go after the Dragon though... I'm not surprised Lloyd was fighting the Divine Dragon already, but I'm kinda amazed that he seemed to have fended it off for quite a while with just the Dragon Buster, since he doesn't have the Dragon Block Staff to actually weaken it. Honestly, the fight could have been much easier if I used Albert and Kongol but I thought it would be okay with Meru and Haschel and my weak Madness Hero hahahaha, needless to say, I took a while plucking away its health with my subpar damage (Meru did 68 damage because I used her new Cool Boogie Addition lmao). Anyway, I levelled up my Additions though so that was good 🤣

I guess we shouldn't be surprised that there's a Divine Dragoon Spirit, but I wonder what Lloyd's aim is if the Divine Dragon was merely an obstacle to it and what's why he came to kill it? It definitely has to do with the Moon Child but hmmm. I felt sorry for Sister Wink that she practically led Lloyd back to the castle to capture Queen Theresa (since he needs the last Moon Mirror now), but I guess regardless, he would have been able to get her anyway. Honestly, it was kinda random that Sister Wink came out of nowhere to take the blow for Lloyd when Dart was about to slash him (after we defeated him), but it's understandable why she did it. She was smitten from the moment she met him, and honestly, he really didn't need to save her all those times to get the mirror but he did anyway. And I guess it's nice if Lloyd will understand a bit more about the kindness of people rather than focusing on trying to have this world reborn into a utopia with the 108th species? Not sure what the plan he and Emperor Diaz has, but I guess it's supposedly time for the new species to rule to fulfill Soa's intentions? I guess we'll get to know more about everything now that Dart is going with Lloyd to see Emperor Diaz. On the other hand, I think it would have been so cool if we got to have Lloyd as a guest character and play with him a bit! That would have been so fun~ Oh well. Anyway, wearing a Talisman and turning into a Dragoon is such a great trick against Lloyd! Since he mostly tries to instant kill the Dragoon guy with the Talisman, so in the end you don't need to heal much at all! Would have been much easier if I had another Talisman but oh well, all good haha!

So, the regeneration of the world that both Emperor Diaz and Lloyd seek is basically believing that the 108th species that Soa created reigning will allow all species to kinda go back to their former powers and glories instead of right now where species such as the Winglies have deteriorating powers out of their control? I was thinking the Moon Child was the 108th species but I was like, if there's only one, is it still a thing? Hahaha, but I guess it doesn't matter if it's one or twenty, classifications of species don't depend on the number of them after all. Ohh, so the Divine Moon objects were used by the Winglies to seal up the 108th species so that they could remain superior and that's why Lloyd needed them! The souls of the dead Dragoons from the Dragon Campaign are still wandering around? But Shirley said only 4 are still here, so including her and Rose that's only 6, what's the last one doing? Ooh, Lloyd got tricked by Emperor Diaz! I didn't realise he didn't know Shana was the Moon Child, but I guess the biggest revelation is that sadly, the Moon Child won't bring the restoration Lloyd desires for the world, instead it's actually a Virage Embryo, a God of Destruction that will in turn cause this whole world to be destroyed. I hope Lloyd didn't just die like that... I mean, yeah he's not a good guy, but at least we hoped for the creation of a better future for the current species, not really the idea of destroying everything and everyone, then starting from scratch again.. Anyway, that's kinda crazy, no wonder why Dart felt familiar to Rose, Zieg (the original Red Eyed Dragoon) is Dart's father, and also the "current" Emperor Diaz.

Ohh, so the 108th species was separated into two, the fruit and the flesh? So, a part is the Moon that Never Sets and the soul was captured in the Crystal Sphere that Melbu Frahma, the master of Winglies kept so that he could withdraw unlimited magic power from and conquer other creatures! I see, the reason why his soul was not mentioned by Shirley was because Zieg is here, having dissolved the petrification caused by Melbu Frahma when they fought against him. The humans destroyed the Crystal Sphere when they took their lives back in the Dragon Campaign, and that allowed the Moon Child to be born... I think it was pretty saddening for Dart to have to hear that Rose was actually the Black Monster all along though. You understand her reasons, because she knew that it was the God of Destruction so she had to kill all the possible Moon children and the "servants" it created alongside them, but to think that Princess Louvia had a twin sister and that was Shana... I thought she was the actual princess, but really, Rose killed the princess and never realised she had a twin... I guess we'll be travelling to the Moon where Shana and the Moon that Never Sets will kinda combine together and become the true God of Destruction? Honestly though, I knew Rose was the Black Monster but I never really thought of or remembered the burden she carried all this time, all the blood, all the hatred and all the sadness. No wonder why she said she forgot how to smile long ago. Ever since she started killing everything 11,000 years ago to prevent the destruction of the world, she lost everything and herself as well. She could only keep killing... It's really saddening.

I really loved this chapter for the extra insight into the Winglies themselves. The past ones that were super strong and dominated all species, and the current ones who are either obsessed with their past strength or the ones like Meru who desire a life outside of their little forest, or even ones like Lloyd who believe in a new future and creating it by themselves. It was really nice to see all that. Miranda as a character leaves lots of things to be desired though, she really doesn't add much to the party and she hasn't been very important tbh lol. I guess with this chapter, most mysteries were revealed at the end, but I really enjoyed the step by step we went to revealing the "last boss" who knew everything and dictated everything. The reveal of the Black Monster was also expected but saddening. It's a lot to take in all at once though, because it's kinda crazy to think how enormous the stakes are now compared to what Dart expected when he first started on this journey. But I guess his reason for continuing won't ever change, and that is to protect Shana.
