#Mcc 9 pink parrots

I have seen some of you being confused about the Grian 'Dreamslayer' thingy. So here you go. Explained by your resident 'I miss The Lords' MCC fan.

The Dreamslayer thing comes from MCC 9 Pink Parrots, where Grian slaughtered Lime Llamas (including Dream as his first kill), a team of good PVPers. As a builder and resident prankster on HermitCraft it was a statement that I would like to call 'don't mess with the Hermits'

But more about the Lords.

First of all the instant chemistry. Like the 4 of them talked as a team, for the first time right before the event (Joel said this during MCC). Like Joel knew Jimmy, but hadn't talked to the other 2 before. Jimmy, Martyn and Grian knew each other long before that MCC, as they were/are good friends.

So the fact that they were like instantly being comfortable around each other, making jokes is nice.

You can definitely see that I adore them lol.

But why do we call them the Lords?

Well, they played that MCC for fun. And after everyone predicted them last. They decided to set up a challenge. If they got 8 or higher they would get Lordships.

They got 8th place (because of the last game being Sands of Time, something they are all good at) so they all bought Lordships. Each picked something that represented their MCC experience.

Jimmy 'Solidarity' got Timmy Top Placer (he got the highest placement), Martyn 'InTheLittleWood' got Martyn Moneymaker (he banked the most coins in Sands of Time), Joel 'Smallishbeans' got Joel Jumperman (he got the furthest in Parcour Warrior) and Grian got Grian Dreamslayer (because he killed Dream in Survival Games).

The 4 of them are legally lords. The whole event they joked around and set that goal for themself, to annoy Reddit. And they got it.

Every time they were in 8th place they would go 'MY LORDS' and I think thats beautiful.

To this day they are my favorite MCC team, and I desperately want them back.

There should be an mcc where all the teams are made of 3 hermits and 1 non-hermit I just think that's something other people should be subjected to

HCC is the dream but every event deserves more than two Hermit teams

Techno is also the mcyt I've drawn the most over all, my school books are literally full of him, so I'm happy I've gotten myself to drawing him again! He is and will always be my comfort character to draw <3

The Smallishbeans Fan Starter Guide

Have you seen Smallishbeans in videos and/or on your dashboard and thought “hey he seems cool I wanna check him out” but don’t know where to start? Well this post is for you!

“Who is Smallishbeans?”

His name is Joel and he’s a British survival builder who appears in SMPs such as X Life, Empires SMP, and 3rd Life and does lots of challenges like doing hardcore for 24 hours, not using a crafting table, and spending 100 days in a world to name a few. He’s the MCC competitor who keeps spilling his keyboard and had to get a sippy cup for the tournament, first person to ever 1v3 and did it against pink parrots MCC 8, won MCC 10, and attained the lordship Joel Jumperman after getting 8th place in MCC 9. He’s also LDShadowLady’s husband and frequently collabs with her. He was initially known for playing Call of Duty, in fact Smallishbeans was his Xbox gamertag, but now he’s the Joel we all know and love, who loves to cook, loves his wife, is a big nerd, got two pets, loves to mess with his friends, and play in block game :)

“Where can I find him?”

He posts videos and streams on Youtube. He usually streams when it’s MCC b/c he personally doesn’t like the stress of streaming but he has streamed plenty of times before in the past. As of when I’m writing this, he’s planning on streaming more during Empires season 2. He also has a Twitter and Instagram if you wanna check him out elsewhere. His channel also links to his clips channel, Smallishbeans Clips, and extra videos channel called, More Smallishbeans.

“Where do I start?”

Anywhere! He doesn’t have any heavy lore if that’s what you’re worried about. I think the only thing he references is Jeremyism, which is a religion centered around naming everything Jeremy and also praying to Donkey Jeremy which he did during X Life. Joel doesn’t reference other series too unless it’s multiple seasons and he usually mentions it offhandedly. I’d say just start with a one off video or short series and then move to a long series.

“How would you describe him?”

Extra, sarcastic, overconfident while also being insecure, crazy, mean girl, pathetic, funny, angry short king, and bi wife

Motherfucker I’ve just realized how much MCC 9 really WAS the shot heard round the world

I’ve influenced my datemate into watching MCC9 Blue Bats and because of this I’ve realized how much MCC 9 caused everything

Because MCC 9 was not only pink parrots, which I’ve elaborated on before, but also Blue Bats.

Blue Bats led to Vault Hunters, which leads into so much.

I am not normal about the history of MCC9.

I watched his reaction! Before I watched the video I said 'I'm betting he is the most excited for Rens bit' wich he was lol.

A couple of weeks ago, I watched a bit of the Christmas MCC (Joel's pov) and heard Ren say something along the lines of 'that's something I love about you' and my mind went 'oh gods the play flirting started fast'. Then watched the start of Rens POV in not even 3 minutes he called Joel spiffy, False and himself dignified and Martyn sexy...

These 2 dorks will be the end of me

Their friendship took me by suprise but a good suprise.

Ohhh I keep forgetting I need to watch that!!! It’s on my list. :3 (That, and the Pink Parrots POV from MCC 9 because Grian, Martyn, Jimmy, and Joel were on a team and all got lordships because of it…though that’s unrelated to the Dogwarts boys lol.)

feeling nostalgic for MCC 9 Blue Bats and Pink Parrots, just all the times hermits won in MCC really, or got close to it

how everyone predicted blue bats to come 6th and then they clutched in sg and reverse sweeped in dodgebolt.

mcc11 lime liches was a bop to watch, fav moment was when they all surrounded scott with the Bdubs skin, 10/10

mcc12 because Cub got so close to winning it was heartbreaking

mcc13 for obvi reasons, it was such a good team, also 10/10

mcc17 is probably my favourite or 2nd fav, orange destroying in build mart, grian popping off in sky battle, comeing 2nd in sg, and Grian winning the finale in a 1v3 againt FruitNinja!?!? that nearly gave me a heart attack, i remember vividly sitting on my chair telling myself there was no way Grian was winning this and not to give myself false hope, AND THEN HE WINS IT!?!? istg, the adrenaline rush was worse than when my mum asked to see my search history.

but also the last mcc RT was in was in august c'mon please give us the lad-

REAL. Every Pink Parrot Wilbur MCC team was hell because the killing blow would be after 9 teams of hope, but this one was Hell because our hopes were crushed right out the gate. Not even a chance.

Are those all supposed to be streams where stuff went wrong?

No. It was streams that I actually do enjoy so much more. Although stuff did go wrong in a bunch of them LOL But it was the funny wrong. Maybe except for the MCC 15 practice stream which was right after the part in August however after Wilbur talks about that the stream is so funny it totally makes up for that. 1 hour and a half of straight (well, very gay actually) comedy. It's actually the stream a rewatch the most. Then it's the monopoly stream, the MCCP 21 Pink Parrots. And the Uno stream with Jimmy, Grian, Fhwip and Joel. That one is so funny too.

All of those are good watches in my opinion.

I'd also add MCC 9 Pink Parrots (Aka the Lords stream) because yeah. It's really good too.

Any of these streams are guaranteed to be a better experience than Tommy's Love or Host.
