okay another reason I get upset when people refuse to read trials of apollo is because no one talks about Camp Jupiter. Spoilers ahead for the series, obviously. We all know about Camp Half-Blood being a fraction of its former size after the Titan War, but no one talks about how the battles with the emperors at Camp Jupiter do the same thing. Frank compares the losses to a decimation (which refers to the killing of every tenth legionnaire) at the beginning of the fourth book, and there is another huge battle at the end of that book that leaves the entire legion and entire remaining population of New Rome itself able to fit inside their Senate building. THAT'S INSANE. THAT IS AN INSANE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE KILLED IN THAT ONE BOOK WHICH NO ONE EVER TALKS ABOUT BECAUSE THEY REFUSE TO READ TOA.

best part of Tower of Nero is when Rachel points out that she can see Brooklyn House, has seen penguins walking around on the back deck and says there's alot of "weird going-ons" over there but lester, meg, nico and will can't see it through the mist so they just look at her like she's crazy😭

If you, for any reason, needed a hc as to why Meg needs glasses-

She is long-sighted and has a cross-eye (because those are my eye conditions and I need to project)

Istg every single fictional character with glasses is just short-sighted. Where is my rep for people with hyperopia?? And I really struggle with my cross-eye (For a while at school, I was bullied and teased for having it) and it is NEVER represented.

So anyway, I have decided that that is Meg. If it turns out something else is canon then fuck you Rick I’m right and you’re wrong.

If you’re writing any Meg Mccaffery fanfiction, pls mention that she needs glasses bc she is long-sighted and/or has a turn in her eye (doesn’t matter which eye, mine changes). I don’t have many health conditions this is like my one thing so I want it to be represented.

Fun fact: Cats are also long-sighted. So when my cat (yes that is her in my pfp) sniffles my face and all I see is a blurry smudge, I know that she also only sees a blurry smudge.
