FFVII Remake Top Secret Challenge Strategy
Brute-force style, with a party of Cloud - Tifa - Barret
I heard there's strategy using Aerith and magic but that's not really my style. So here's my strategy using Cloud - Tifa - Barret.
Equipment:
Cloud: Hardedge - Cog Bangle - Transference Module
Tifa: Metal Knuckle - Chain Bangle - Protective Boots
Barret: Light Machine Gun / EKG Canon (needed for Reprive ability) - Cog Bangle - Protective Boots
Materia:
Prayer, Healing, HP Plus, MP Plus Materia on everybody; plus Magnify + Healing for Tifa
Elemental + Lightning on Weapon for Cloud (he's will be the main attacker for Leviathan and Pride & Joy Prototype)
Elemental + Ice on Armour for Tifa (she's will be the main attacker for Shiva)
Fire Materia for Cloud (for Shiva fight, if you want the fight to go a bit faster)
Steadfast Block Materia on Barret (because his job is to surive)
Magic Plus, Luck Plus or more HP Plus and MP Plus to the remaining slots is up to you
GENERAL STRATEGY
Tifa will Magnify + Regen as soon as the battle starts
Barret to use Pray whenever he has 2 ATB and the party's HP is running low. If the party health is sufficient, then Maximum Fury all the way
Barret to use Steel Skin regularly
Heal frequently. Arise or Rise as you see fit.
SPECIFIC STRATEGY
Shiva
Just use Tifa to attack Shiva. Shiva can't do anything to Tifa when she has Elemental + Ice in her armor, which will either nullify or absord all Shiva's attacks.
If you bring Fire Materia with Cloud, use him to cast Fira/Firaga during the first phase of the battle to pressure Shiva. If not, just use Tifa and go all the way.
After Shiva uses Diamond Dust, she will be pressured. Your chance to finish her. Diamond Dust can't do anything to Tifa.
Fat Chocobo
No special strategy. Just keep an eye on your health and you should be fine. Cloud and Tifa should be the main attack force.
Rise / Arise any fallen party member because Fat Chocobo will summon Tonberries with their notorious Chef's Knife.
Leviathan
Attack with Cloud and Tifa whenever possible, and with Barret when Leviathan flies. Remember to block incoming attack.
While Leviathan is weak against Lightning, he's kinda resisted to magic attack so I don't find Lightning work well for him and is a waste of MP (especially when we are gearing to physical attack for this challenge). Just attack with everybody is enough.
During later phase, Leviathan will fly around. You can only attack him with Barret and Cloud with Lightning. Be patient, eventually he will get down and you can continue attacking him with Cloud, and finish him off.
Bahamut (& Ifrit)
The toughest fight, with surprisingly no particular strategy.
YOU HAVE TO KEEP BARRET ALIVE UNTIL MEGA FLARE. Nobody will survive Mega Flare without Reprive.
Other than that, just attack Bahamut with brute-force and heal as much as possible.
After he summons Ifrit, focus your attack on Ifrit as he doesn't have a lot of HP. If your Limit Break gauge is full, just use it on Ifrit (don't have to wait for him to be staggered). One Limit Break attack with a few more strikes can finish him off quickly.
Back to Bahamut. As soon as you find him about to do Mega Flare, build up 2 ATB bars for Barret. After he survives Mega Flare, Curaga himself with 1 bar, and Arise Cloud with the other.
Then Arise Tifa and finish Bahamut with Limit Break attacks.
Pride & Joy Prototype
Same with Fat Chocobo fight. Just keep an eye on your health, and block and evade his attack and you should be fine. As Cloud has Elemental + Lightning on his weapon, he should deal a good amount of damage.
ALTERNATIVE STRATEGY
Instead of Elemental + Lightning on Cloud's weapon, change it to Elemental + Fire on Cloud's armour. This way, the fight with Leviathan and Pride & Joy Prototype will drag on a bit longer, but you stand better chance to survive Bahamut + Ifrit.
And while you can switch the roles of Cloud and Tifa, I find Cloud with Elemental + Lightning on his weapon works better because his Magic stat is higher than Tifa's so he can be useful as a physical attacker AND magic attacker during Leviathan and Pride and Joy Prototype fights.
-------
Hope all that helps

🍄🌻🌾(platonic)🌿🌸☄️☄️☄️ for Ro.
🍄 What are your OCs favourite snacks? Their favourite comfort food which always cheers them up when they’re down? Favourite meal to make? Do they enjoy baking and cooking and are they any good in the kitchen?
Rosea is a sweets person. If given a choice, she'll near always consume something sugary over anything else. Chocolate especially, but sweet fruits and vegetables are also just as likely. And if it's also a carb? No questions asked, she's eating it. It's a no brainer that baked goods are a comfort food for her. Her favorite meal, however, is pretty much anything with chicken in it.
She can cook. She can even do so passably. Her enjoyment of it is more contingent on getting the food afterwards, however.
🌻 What little things do they notice about people or the world around them that make them happy? What tiny little treasures do they find in the normal every day that makes the world seem a little brighter for them?
Rosea is an avid people-watcher. Not really on purpose, more as a side-effect of always staying aware of her surroundings, but the attention to others in public spaces means she has witnessed a lot of somewhat private moments in people's lives. She loves seeing people just living their own lives and experiencing joy. From the awkward teen couple bonding over cute merchandise in the mall to the toddler seeing bubbles for the first time, it's those little moments of joy she holds close. It helps her get through her more isolated days.
🌾 Describe your OC through the eyes of someone absolutely head-over-heels in love with them (platonic)
You get the bonus of nonplatonic because I'm fucking moronic and messed this question up on Garbria's.
Also this question stalled me so long I'm just giving small blurbs so I can finally just post this.
"Oh man, this kid is going to be the death of me." - Nyx
"I've had this kid for ten minutes and if anything happened to her, I would kill everyone and then myself." - Cor
"Why must I be in love with an idiot?" - Ignis
"I will not strangle my girlfriend, I will not strangle my girlfriend, I will not strangle my girlfriend--" - Gladio
"How am I this lucky, man? How did I get a girl like this?" - Prompto
"Do the Astrals hate me? Why did I end up with a girl like this?" - Noctis
Bonus:
"Why are all Leonis's the same?" - Aeo, Regis, Clarus, Papavera, and every other person unfortunate enough to love them
🌿 What way does your OC show that they care without using words? What way do others show your OC that they’re cared about without using speech?
She's always been more of a 'do-er' than a 'say-er'. Blame it on the infamously taciturn Immortal, but she's not always good at saying how she feels. She'll show her affection by saving the better parts of a snack, waiting to watch a show, and going out of her way to make someone she cares about's day a little easier.
🌸 What are some of their favourite things and why? List as many as you can think of!
Sleep, pineapple flavored candy, chocolate, chicken patties, a train ride when its not crowded, chocobos, zus, mega-fauna in general, dogs, cats, maybe just all animals, except sabertusks the fuck is wrong with those things?, jersey knit cotton, hoodies, over sized t-shirts, tonberries, ulwaat berry flavored anything, coffee, warping, etc etc etc
☄️ Does this OC deserve better treatment from you? Do you make them suffer just a little bit too much? Be nice to them!
☄️ Does this OC deserve better treatment from you? Do you make them suffer just a little bit too much? Be nice to them!
☄️ Does this OC deserve better treatment from you? Do you make them suffer just a little bit too much? Be nice to them!
LA LA LA LA I CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER ME BEING SOOOOO NICE TO HER AND HAVING NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT

When I see a tonberry I’m just immediately filled with rage because I remember why I gave up on my 100% run of FFX-2 and it was the mega tonberries in the via infinito literally fuck those things. Technically it was a different enemy I couldn’t beat and 99% of guides are just like “lol just use catnip” fuck you I have remastered version where they nerfed catnip and the other options were to use blue mage abilities to get a special ability you can only get way into a battle with mega tonberry but you can’t even get close because you get dragged to hell and back by that thing 0.2 seconds after the encounter starts. He’s killed the whole team before you can even attack. You can’t fucking do it. I was so over leveled for most of the game but I could NOT do that. I don’t know how it’s even fucking possible. I did level grinding for so long. “Oh you can cast ultima with this garment grid if you spherechange through the whole grid” literally how am I supposed to do that when I get my ass handed to me before I can even make a single goddamn move? FUCK

Your new avatar picture is awesome, so I have to ask! What made you change your old theme to this new one, why are you on an island, and what else do you like about your new theme? =)
I have to thank the amazing and talented @axl99 for my new banner art. It is adorable and I love it. I changed the old theme because it was really getting dated (the Mega Man joke was no longer applicable as of 2017 with Mega Man 11′s release). This is what you get when you have a professional, experienced concept artist come up with something for you! She also does commissions occasionally! [Click here for larger size].
Tumblr media
There are several great details in the picture. The island and the new background color are there primarily to get the viewer to notice that something’s very different. If you think about it, blogs are kind of like islands that you visit too, aren’t they? Aside from that, the salt shaker should be self-explanatory, and the message in the bottle (plus the empties) are there to show how I answer questions. The discord folks have joked that the water pitcher is filled with the tears of angry gamers. Tonberries are also one of my favorite gaming monsters and I’ve used a Tonberry avatar for a very long time in other places. Finally, there’s an armchair because... well, there has to be an armchair whenever anyone talks about game dev, right?

May I make a request on a short story about Gladnis x reader where their "Ray of sunshine/Marshmallow of happiness" comes home from a rough fight with a very angry look on their face and when they ask what happened they just walk past 'em and pass out on the couch? (When the s/o wakes up, they're in the shared bed w/ them, all snuggled together and patched up)
My first polyamorous relationship fic. I haven’t read a lot of these, yet, so bear with me as I learn how to do this, ok?
This one takes place after Noctis enters the crystal but in the alternate ending.

Of Love and Clouds
It was supposed to be easy…
The hunt Dave sent you on was supposed to be easy, but with ever present darkness the daemons had grown to incredible sizes.
You had gone out on a simple “Boss Battle” mission as the hunters had nicknamed it. The mission was a sort of preventative measure: information came in about a daemon who had grown too large. At a certain point, those daemons would become the leaders of the smaller daemons in the area, allowing the creatures to organize. Once organized, they’d challenge the human settlements. To prevent this chain of events, hunters would go out, taking out the potential leader and stopping the daemons from ever organizing.
You had gathered information on a tonberry who had grown fairly large. You left, alone, expecting to find a tonberry the size of a man. What you found was one the size of a building.
This bastard could have ascended to a god, soon. The thing stabbed at you with an uprooted telephone pole and used, what looked like, an old sail as a cloak. It still had much of the agility of a normal tonberry; shaking the ground every time it leapt into the air. It was utterly massive.
The whole battle was something out of a masochistic video game. You spent much of your time rolling and trying to dodge the creatures attacks, throwing flash grenades at its gathering minions, and trying to attack its feet. You succeeded in defeating it by crippling its legs, climbing its back, and driving a blade through its green skull.
Your “easy” mission had taken most of your strength and covered you in dust and blood. You hadn’’t been this exhausted, or dirty, in years. It was on numb legs, a foggy mind, and some grace of the gods that you made it back to Lestallum.
In the city, your two wonderful boyfriends were waiting on you in your shared apartment. Each of you had been taking on separate missions that suited your strengths. Ignis had been working to locate areas that could provide supplies and setting up beacons to them. Gladio had been working on daily escort missions. You had taken to breaking up daemon hoards.
Your mind was on your apartment your whole way home. The space was small, as Lestallum was packed to the brim now, but you made the most of it. Ignis had insisted on furnishing most of it in white to make it feel bigger, Gladio had packed it with every book he could find, and you provided a plethora of records and throw pillows for maximum cuddling efficiency.
The two men were working in the kitchen as you practically fell through the door. Gladio was washing the dishes Ignis put in sink as he was cooking. Both looked up, surprised but happy, at your late return. “Welcome back, Marshmallow.” Gladio said as he dried a dish.
“You’re a bit late, Sunshine.” Ignis added over a sizzling pan.
You didn’t respond to either of them.
“Woah…you…ok?” Gladdy asked as you made your way past him. The exhaustion in your features manifested to look like an appetite for murder. The “undead chic” look was completed by the filth covering your armor.
Ignis raised an eyebrow at your appearance. “Are you…hungry, love?” he asked, knowing the effects food can have on a disposition.
You simply continued on. You drug your feet over the floor as you made your way to the couch, a shell of your usual chipper self. Down you fell onto the old furniture, crashing over the arm, your legs dangling over.
“Darling?” Ignis asked, concern evident in his tone as he turned down the stove to leave the meal.
“Hey!” Gladio was ahead of him in getting to you, fearing you were injured.
Upon reaching you, the great man stopped in shock, then laughed, propping himself upon the back of the couch. Ignis looked at him confused, making his way to the front of the couch to sit beside you.
“Already asleep.” Gladio lamented, smiling at his Marshmallow.
Ignis smiled as he pet the back of your snoring head. “It must have been quite the mission. I don’t suppose they’ll want dinner…”
Gladio hummed in response to his boyfriends assumption, leaning towards him. “This is pretty cute, though…” he whispered, not wanting to wake you. The two men shared a smile while staring at the comical scene.
“Either way, this can’t be a comfortable or healthy sleeping position,” Ignis said upon standing. “Sunshine…” he sang in your ear. You didn’t stir.
“Leave ‘em.” Gladio said, rolling you over into his arms. Easily lifting you, the great man made for the bedroom. You barely stirred in his arms.
Gently setting you down on the white bed, the two men smiled at the scene: their sunshine wrapped up in marshmallow like sheets of happiness. You stirred in your sleep as you cuddled deeper into the soft bed.
Ignis took off your boots and removed your remaining armor to make sure you were comfortable. He took them to wash off the daemon blood in the bathroom.
“I’ll help…” Gladio said through a yawn. Iggy smiled at his love.
“It’s been a long day, why don’t you settle in, too?” He said, giving the great man a peck on the cheek.
Before he could protest, Iggy was off. Gladio looked down at your sleeping form and smiled. You laid on your back, head slightly bent to one side. He removed his shoes and shirt and climbed in bed next to you, cuddling up and pulling your small form close to him.
Ignis returned to the room to find a heartwarming scene: the two people he loved most in this dark world, cuddled in cloudlike sheets, dozing softly.
Not being able to resist, he unbuttoned his shirt and removed his boots before snuggling up on the opposite side of you from Gladio. He wrapped his arms around you, tangling with Gladio’s. The bed was warm and soft. The rhythmic breathing of the two of you soon lulled Ignis into an unexpectedly deep slumber.
You stirred, some few hours later, according to the clock. You were warm and comfortable. Your first thoughts went to whether or not you still lived.
You felt the warmth move around you and realized it was caused by the forms on either side of you. Looking up, you found Gladio’s rugged face, peaceful and slumbering next to you.
Then you heard shifting and soft sounds to your other side. You turned your head to find Ignis curled up there, also slumbering peacefully.
You were cradled in their arms, ever protected.
You bent your arms towards your chest, so as to hold both of their arms in yours, completing the knot.
You’re alive and in heaven, you thought, falling back asleep.
Time passed. Gladio stirred next to you, waking you to a handsome face smiling back at you.
“Good morning, Marshmallow.”
“Good morning, Gladdy.” You smiled back.
Ignis shifted at your other side, slowly coming to. His glasses are strewn across his face. You and Gladio smile at him.
“Good morning, Iggy.” You whisper to him.
“Eh, good morning, Sunshine.” he replied, trying to right himself to his surrounds.
You smile as the two men, having had the same idea, pull closer to you for more cuddles.
In your small apartment, laying in a bed of clouds, you regail your loves with the story of the Mega-Tonberry, as you have named it. They may laugh and hardly believe you, but that doesn’t matter, today. You are warm and safe in a tangle of love and happiness.
Today, you have everything that is precious in this dark world.

100 FOLLOWERS MEGA SPECIAL AWESOME 10 PART EVENT TOP 100 ENEMIES         THE GRAND FINALE
THE GRAND FINALE!
Here we are, part 10, the final part. 10 more enemies to go. These 10 foes are the cream of the crop in my opinion, so let me share em with ya!
10 - Shy Guys - Mario Series
Tumblr media
Enemy Status – Mysterious Masked Entity.
Shy guys are among the oddest foes in the Mario universe. Originally seen in a dream world and then all over Yoshi’s island. They are never seen without their iconic mask and they come in many forms. What is about them that I like? I am not sure, but I find their design simple yet timeless. They may be simple enemies, but I have always found them to be among the best the mushroom kingdom has to offer. These little guys win a spot on the list and secure the rank of number 10! Way to go shy-guy!
-------------------------------
9 - Ring Knight - Dark Souls 3
Tumblr media
Enemy status – Protectors of the Ringed City.
The ringed city’s guardians are menacing foes. Large powerful knights with the dark soul insignia burned onto their armor and wielding large blades of fire. These are some of the deadliest foes the souls series has to offer and they are, in my opinion, some of the best designed. They appear throughout the entire city and are a thrill to fight, especially the one guarding the cathedral or the one randomly found in the far ruined future. These guys are also interesting from a lore perspective, and thus they win the 9th place on this list.
-------------------------------
8 – Bouncer - Bioshock
Tumblr media
Enemy Status – Large Father.
The world of rapture is not a pleasant place. It is full of dangers and lethal traps that can end your life very quickly. This is seen in spades with the Bouncer. The Bouncer is one of the big daddies who protect the little sisters. They are usually neutral but can be hostile if antagonized. Thing is though, if you want to progress in the game YOU have to engage them. Be ready for a difficult fight. The bouncer charges without mercy with their drill arm and will attack relentlessly. They offer little breathing room and can be very dangerous at the beginning of the game. The bouncer is the “face” of Bioshock, and thus readily deserves a spot in the top ten! 8th place is good.
-------------------------------
7 - Hell Knight - Doom 3
Tumblr media
Enemy Status – High Ranking Demon.
The beast of hell are no simple cretins, some of them are exceptionally dangerous. This is made very clear with the Hell Knight, high ranking and powerful monsters that often appear in groups of two. They lumber around and throw large fireballs. They also give a rather means punch as well. These guys are among some of the most menacing foes in the DOOM series and while they are not as powerful in the 2016 reboot, they are still a worthy opponent. The Hell Knight wins lucky number 7 on this list.
-------------------------------
6 - Helghast - Killzone series
Tumblr media
Enemy Status – Soldiers from Helghan.
Of all the pure human enemies, evil armies and what have you, we decide to go the sci-fi route. Say hello to the Helghast. These foes are armed to the teeth and proudly represent their glorious empire. What makes them different from the generic terrorist, thugs and nazis we have all fought in war games? Nothing much, but what makes them iconic is their design. The iconic gas mask and black and white armor set them apart from all others and that is why they make it up here. Because I love their design quite a bit. Do not need much more of a reason that that, welcome to 6th place.
-------------------------------
5 - Lynels - Zelda Breath of the Wild
Tumblr media
Enemy Status – Lion-man Centaur
Hyrule is home to many dangerous beasts, but none match the pure ferocity of the Lynel. The mighty Lynel is a fierce monster that has the lower body of a horse, the upper body of a man and the head of a lion. These beasts wield mighty weapons such as swords, clubs or bows and are capable of breathing fire. Nothing is scarier than one of these charging you at full speed! It takes skill and might to take one down and revel in the spoils of battle. Just be careful, because they can take a long time to best in combat. These monsters win the 5th place award.
-------------------------------
4 - Deathclaws - Fallout Series
Tumblr media
Enemy Status – Mutated Jackson Chameleon.
The deathclaw is the apex predator of the wasteland and is among one of the most feared enemies of the wasteland. Many inexperienced adventurers met their end at the clawed hands of one of these walking death machines. They come in many different colors and sizes, but one thing is consistent, they are big, and they are aggressive. If you cross one early on your journey, be ready for a wicked fight. These iconic post-apocalyptic foes win 4th place!
-------------------------------
3 - Darknuts - Zelda Series
Tumblr media
Enemy Status – Heavily Armored Dark Knight.
And the Zelda series finds a its place on this spot once again. The Lynel is the apex monster, but the darknut is the pinnacle of the humanoid enemy. These are among the original dark knight enemies in the history of video games. Regardless, the Darknut is an imposing figure that is a skilled fighter and a sturdy tank. They can dish out punishment and take a lot of damage. The closer they get to defeat, the more desperate and fast they get in retaliation. It is always a blast to fight one, and it can be a challenge to take multiples at once. Congrats on your 3rd place! Can you tell that I like knights?
-------------------------------
2 - Tonberry - Final Fantasy series
Tumblr media
Enemy status – The embodiment of vengeance.
The tonberry is a dangerous foe. They are small unassuming enemies, they creep towards you slowly and raise a small knife. They stab and it does massive damage. These guys are among the most dangerous foes in the final fantasy and its great. Why is it great? Because they look so cute and unassuming, it can slay behemoths and other great monsters with ease despite its tiny stature. They get stronger with the more enemies you have slain.  So, they win a spot for their cute looks and lethal abilities in combat. Welcome to 2nd place, Tonberry!
-------------------------------
1 - Elites - Halo series
Tumblr media
Enemy Status – The covenants finest (until the Brutes showed up.)
The covenant is among the most feared empires in sci-fi history. Encompassing several races attempting to carry out a religion fueled genocide across the entire galaxy. The pinnacle of their militant forces are the elites. These aliens are mighty foes that rarely ever retreat or back down, they will fight tooth and nail to the bitter end. Even the lowest ranking elite is a dangerous opponent. They lead the lesser races into combat and should be taken out quickly to demoralize the other lesser enemies. Once Halo 3 rolled around they sided with the humans and have become allies. So, the elites are my favorite enemies in video games. They have amazing designs, are fun to fight and are intimidating foes to take down. They are a shining example of what makes a good enemy. Congrats, you wont the 1st place!
-------------------------------
And finnaly, after all this time it is completed, thank you all. We are actually already near 200 followers! Holy Cheese puffs! That’s a lot of people! I will be primarily doing video game reviews for a while, as I am running out of obscure characters to write about! But you can expect more list later down the line as well! Once we hit 200 followers Ill have a Q&A set aside for people who wanna ask me stuff! Ill answer the first 20 ask, then ill try to work on any others if I have the time. Take care!

I Know I’m a Hardcore Gamer
Last night, as usual, I started up my PlayStation after everyone went to bed. (It's the best time to play to avoid back seat gaming) XD I was excited to play Final Fantasy XV since I was only 2 trophies away from getting platinum. (Yes; I'm a trophy whore. I want to get the best as much as possible out of any game I play) =P My team was already level 70 so I figured that the best way to get the platinum trophy was to kill 2 birds with one stone; the trophies I needed were "Tortoise Toppler" and "Divine Intervention." I started the quest to kill the monstrous turtle at 1am...
So I rested up at the nearest camp site and ate a booster meal made by Ignis. I was confident that because of the huge level gap, I’d be able to call up any of the summons because I knew it’d be a very tough battle since I didn’t have the proper equipment for any of the characters. I figured as long as I can make the summon trophy pop up, I can always just level grind again from the start until I was at least cap level to challenge the notorious beast.
I started whacking away like no tomorrow as I came upon the gargantuan reptile. As expected, Noctis and the others were in danger mode in no time.  I firmly gripped the trigger button, excited to finally see any of the summons I defeated early on in the game. Being a Final Fantasy fan, I knew how gorgeously they would enter the battlefield and offer a helping hand to help level the playing field. I swear I gripped L2 like I never did before. (And I am actually very careful with my gaming controllers!) I was really determined to get at least that trophy in this do or die scenario in game. =P
It was already past 3am; Ignis, Gladio, and Promtpo died several deaths already and I was hanging on by a thread too many times.. yet still no grand entrance of any summon.  The Adamantoise’s HP was about down to 1/4 at this moment. “It’s still early; I can still attempt to do a summoning for another hour.” Boy, was I wrong! I literally was squishing the controller, shouting inside my head, “summon.. summon.. SUMMON!!!” But I was stuck fighting this hell of a boss unassisted by any of the “divines.” At this point in time, I was more worried my darling might wake up and notice how late the hour is and scold me to get some rest; but the hardcore in me wouldn’t let me quit. I wasn’t turning back now.  It took me 3 hours to get this darned monster’s HP down to this level, this was the point of no return.  It’s either I get that summon trophy or I get the tortoise one; I was going to make sure I got one or the other; or even both. =P
My manicured hands were starting to get numb. I recalled why I stopped letting my nails grow; they just get in the way of button mashing. XD The Adamantoise’s health was down to the last tenth; and it was already 5am. If my sweetheart woke up (he’s quite a morning person), I would’ve picked a fight with him if he insisted I just quit the game and retire for the night. (Or morning due to the time lol) I persevered; to heck with it if the summon won’t work. Darn trophy bug! A gaming friend told me it should’ve popped up after I defeated Ifrit; but no no no... I did summon Shiva in the cutscene but that seems it didn’t count!  Seems I will need to update this game after all just to get that very common trophy. (Yes; it’s only a bronze trophy! My slight OC was nagging me nonstop about while I was fighting off Super Defense Mega Status Ailment One Hit Danger Mode Turtle From The Netherworld. XD  And to think, I was more afraid of the Marlboro and Tonberry from the earlier versions of Final Fantasy! *roflmao*)  =D Thank goodness I always stock up on multiple potions and phoenix downs up to 95; it’s always best to be prepared for the worst in ANY game, right? =P
I was starting to see slivers of light peeking through the window; afraid that I might really run out of curatives at the very home stretch of this hunt as well as terrified that my better half might really give me quite an earful upon waking up and seeing me still awake and playing. XD (It’s not that he’s against my gaming hobby; he is just wary that my health is failing due to staying up so late and not getting enough sleep. He’s a sweetheart that way.) <3  But if it came to that, I was willing to stand my ground and go through with this quest until I reach game over or better, I kill this challenging hunter’s mark and get that trophy. It was all or nothing at this point.  =P “Ding!” Trophy prompted. The beast was dead! I hurriedly went to the tipster and claimed my reward for the hunt. Okay; I also accepted another bounty. *lol* But I knew it’d be chicken feed compared to that freak of nature of a boss. I saved my file; shut down the PlayStation and crept into the bedroom.  “Still fast asleep; thank goodness!” I slept heavenly after such a feat. “Yeah.. hot gamer girls don’t exist. They don’t even play real manly games like most gamers.” I made a note to myself as I was about to drift into dreamland; tell my hubby and apologize for sleeping very early in the morning upon waking up.. and then write this down as an epic win for us gamer girls around the world. Oh did I also mention I’m already 43 years old as well? *smirk* ;)

Guardian Force Locations
Quezacotl, ShivaSquall's desk computer. IfritDefeat Ifrit. SirenDraw from Monster after fighting Biggs and Wedge. BrothersDefeat Sacred and Minotaur in Tomb Of The Unknown King. DiablosBefore going to Timber, talk to headmaster Cid until you get the Magic Lamp. Save the game, use the lamp, and defeat Diablos. Draw and store Demi then cast it. Do not draw and immediately cast, as he will not cast Curaga on your character. CarbuncleDraw from Statues attacking Rinoa at end of Disc 1. LeviathanDraw from NORG after destroying his pod. PandemonaDraw from Fuijin in the battle with Fuijin and Raijin. CerberusDraw from Cerberus during the Galbadia Garden invasion. He is at the center glowing circle near the entrance. BahamutGo to the island in lower left corner of the map. Walk only when light is not flashing. Go straight until the message "you have perceived the resonance" appears. Go to opening at flashing object, fight Ruby Dragon (you have no choice). If you are in bad shape, answer "Yeah, there's nothing we can do". If not, answer "Never". With luck, Ruby Dragon will not use its Breath attack, as your characters will die. When you win, select "Cancel", then "Accept". Watch out for Bahamut's Mega Flare. TonberryDefeat Odin. Then fight 20 Tonberrys at top of elevator or open place, not at torch lit place at its base. You will fight the Tonberry King. CactuarUse Ragnarok to fly to the island on the outside of a desert; you will see a cactus teleporting around. Walk up to it. Be careful, as its 10,000 needles do 100,000 damage. Doom TrainGet the Solomon Ring from the Esthar Sorceress Memorial at end of Disc 3. Laguna will have talked about defeating Ultimicia. You need six steel pipes and other items. He will appear without a fight. EdenDraw from Ultima Weapon. Bahamut must have already been defeated. Give one pressure spot all the time you can. If you do not, reset at the first steam pressure spot, put Zell in you party and let him "tinker" with the machine demanding four pressure; you will get away. Since you lose four pressure the first time you reset, it is as if you did not make a mistake (only, a lot of strong monsters will flood the area). Set the Move/Find ability to find the final save spot.
Easy Experience Points
Display the world map and travel to the left-most island. It contains powerful monsters that can easily level up your characters after battles.
Easy Ability Points
Go to Cactaur Island and earn 20 AP for each Cactaur that is defeated in battle. Cactaur Island is the small island covered by a desert.
Free Potions
You can get free Potions in Timber Town. Get Rinoa in the party, then go to the bridge where you saw the guards. Keep returning until a man appears. Talk to him, then talk to him a second time to receive a Potion. Leave the screen and return until he appears again and repeat.
No Random Battles
Use the following methods to never have any random battle outside of towns: rent a car for 3,500 gil, walk on train tracks, walk on paved roads, or get Diablos’ No Encounter ability.
