Trotzdem gibt es auch unter diesen Muskelbullen herausragende Exemplare welche die Kunst beherrschen, die anderen Männer ganz besonders zu beeindrucken, so wie dieses Exemplar hier:

Seine Körperästetik ist herausragend, seine Tattoos, die Frisur und der Bart verleihen ihm noch mehr Männlichkeit und die vollen Lippen versprechen tiefe Sinnlichkeit.

Bei ihm ist es mehr die derbe Männlichkeit durch die Glatze und den Gesichtsausdruck, der ausschließliche sexuelle Gier verspricht.

Doch am Ende geht es ihnen allen nur um den Sex, in dem sie sich so hemmungslos verlieren können. In dem riesigen Knäul an Muskeln und Schwänzen ist es ihnen dann doch völlig egal, mit welchem Typen sie es tatsächlich treiben.

See, I said that Yasako standing up for Isako when she was being ostracized in the new school was a direct character growth for her behavior at her old school

Also, they explained later in the episode, because I was very confused how she showed up here. Turns out Yasako went back to her old town to find the old glasses factory

I almost said something last episode about the pain in her chest being the encode reactor that Isako accidentally activated. You’ll have to trust that I called this one too

And that Megamass was trying to bury everything to protect their brand image

What the fuck, why are you revealing that Isako’s mother beat her in the penultimate episode?

No wonder she hated everyone at the school. Ouch

So is her brother a Null Carrier now too? How would that even work?

It seems like every episode in the back half of this cour has Isako suddenly remembering something game-changing from her past. I get that she had a traumatic brain injury and repressed a ton of shit, but I’d like the show to use a third exposition style, instead of it either being this or “three adults in three simultaneous scenes each explaining a third of what’s currently going on”

I don’t speak Japanese, but I did find it suspicious that Isako’s brother number ended in 2-3 (“ni san”), which is very close to the word for “older brother (respectfully)”. I learned that from anime. Obviously a coincidence in-universe, but compelling foreshadowing for the audience

Plot twist, Isako’s been dead the whole time! More likely, it seems like maybe her brother woke up from their coma first, went back in to rescue her, and then didn’t survive himself? He sacrificed himself for her, which is what she’s been trying to do for him for years, since she repressed the memories of all of it

My other thought was what if they ended up swapping bodies, and Isako’s hate-filled soul trapped in the Obsolete Space is what turned into Michiko. Meanwhile her brother is in her body and thinks he’s her, so he’s been trying to rescue his own soul this whole time. This would have to be some sort of Jace/Kallist memory swap thing too, and Isako’s real soul would need to have her body’s memories when she’s returned to it in order to make the character growth between her and Yasako work properly. Jace ended up with both sets of memories his body swap, but that’s because Kallist was killed 😬

That also doesn’t really track with Michiko trying to convince Isako to stay in the Obsolete Space, so it would just be the “three of them” forever. Who’s the third person then? Putting everything we’ve seen so far with what I vaguely think I remember is that she’s the soul of the first person who became trapped in cyberspace

I've actually been getting up off my computer and doing stuff other than being on that site for 12 hours straight. Sure I'll go back on it but only for reading and finding things to add to my library.

I don't always feel like I'm walking on a tightrope that could snap in half very easily anymore. I can go at my own pace.

Looking back, telling someone to go kts was heavily normalized, even if between friends with permission. I thought it was just a funny little joke but underneath it all, it was slowly damaging my health.

I made kms-ing jokes any time I'd post, even being serious occasionally

I even had a whole plan on how I was gonna end my life when I move out. Four years [ the first two years being a "carrot' + actually stable and the other ones leading to my health dropping ]

Yet I was still there. Posting about it all with a mindset of "oh yea this is gonna get me some likes because it's a good joke."

I wanted that attention, the likes, because I felt noticed, and I kept doing it. I was thirteen-ish, fourteen and now almost fifteen next month thinking like that.

Looking back, I'm still not the best of myself. But I feel free from it.

I am free.

So who’s the chick on the left? She’s implied to be part of Yasako and Fumie’s core friend group, except she’s only been in like four episodes for a single scene each. It’s bizarre when the show happens to remember she exists

Quite cruel to put Isako in the same room she thought her brother was in this whole time, but I suppose Megamass already has all the electronics rigged up. They’re probably the ones behind everything, trying to bury any traces of their glasses competitors and the past evidence that the glasses are dangerous

He’s talking about trying to scare off Kanna last year, but it also throws into question whether Yasako ever really talked to Isako’s brother in the Obsolete Space, or if even that was one of Nemoke’s lies

Who the hell is this? The friend/enemy from Yasako’s old school shows up in the final hour? And apparently she knows something about the Obsolete Space too

I was saying in the tags of another post recently that I was watching Den-noh Coil on Netflix and didn't think it was very good. I would revise that now - it's grown on me slowly. The thing that put me off to begin with was that, okay, the story is all about a group of kids who interact with an AR environment overlaid on their town via special glasses (like that Google Glass thing that never took off). (It's not totally clear to me what the appeal of the AR is supposed to be - you can have virtual pets and collect shiny stones from the ground and have virtual fights with other kids, but there's no game and most of the time it's simply indistinguishable from the real world, and used like a smartphone to make calls and access the web on virtual screens that appear in the air. Although it's owned by a corporation called Megamass, it hardly seems commercialised at all.) The children are mostly like 11-12 years old, and they have to deliver a level of expository technobabble that I just didn't find believable for kids that age. Sixth graders being avid users of an immersive AR environment I absolutely buy, but sixth graders having a sophisticated understanding of how it works under the interface, and being able to hack it, was a bit much for my suspension of disbelief. This problem never really goes away but as you get to know the characters and care about what's going to happen to them, you can overlook it more. It ends up being an engaging story about love and grief and friendship and ghosts and a Very Good Boy.

you would THINK that JRoth would have learned from that Other Series that ended not too long ago where the final season was SO GOTDAMN ATROCIOUS that the show runners literally got kicked off their projects with TWO huge franchise, got their up and coming (and racist af) HBO series DROPPED, didn’t go to Comic Con making them look like cowards, got so much public back lash they basically had to live as hermits and not really leave their homes for almost a YEAR also making them cowards, had the author of their source material (and even some of the cast) shade them on a plethora of occasions, had the final season of their megamassive series be the lowest rated by a LARGE margin, had their series finale be the lowest rated episode again by a LARGE margin, had multiple petitions started referring to them as “woefully incompetent writers”one of which is up to almost 2 million signatures, AND the already funded and cast prequel series in the works for their franchise AXED.

i mean, you would really hope...

it probably won’t happen...

but you could PRAY.
