Turns out that firing the guy who made VR because he voted for a Republican and then staking the future of your company on a technology you didn’t build and therefore don’t understand is a bad thing! Who knew?

Is Threads becoming a new trend?
Have you ever used Threads? Do you think it’s a good platform?
Threads is a new online social media platform operated by Meta Platform, which is the same company of Instagram and Facebook. Its function is very similar to Facebook and Instagram. Users can post their thoughts and share their daily lives on the platform. However, unlike Facebook and Instagram which can post story and reels, Threads can only post captions, photos and videos.
Another difference is that you’ll see anyone’s posts whether you are following them, unless private accounts.
Which social media platform you like to use the most?

Ayo, WHAT?!?! Facebook made their own Twitter?!?!?!
Tumblr media
That's right. It's called Threads, simply.
You wanna try look at my Thread? Here
https://www.threads.net/@joelwindows7
So, Zuckerberg, made his own Twitter yeah. I've just discovered when uhh one of an artist start sharing their Threads, you know. I am curious, Threads?? Oh, it's Facebook. Okeh, I download Threads.
You see, this one is under Instagram. So to Threads, you need Instagram account. I assume if you already have:
Meta Quest / Oculus
Facebook
Instagram
Other Meta accounts
Then you can start register with it.
Make note once again, this is Facebook
I am still skeptical with any of the claims they made, especially, Fediverse?!?!? Really? Can that load with another interface then, just Odysee can be loaded with 3rd party LBRY app that has nothing to do with LBRY inc nor Odysee Holdings? Stuff like that. Treat this as grain of salt, coz... you already know who is Zuck and his wicked business trick going on before and probably still now.
Why Threads then? Wait, Twitter died?
Dying sir / madam / idk. I heard, Twitter rate limit. Here 1 news.
youtube
Yes my friend. This is rushed up Elon's idea in order to probably save some bandwidth.
Yeah, I understand Web scrapper leeches it all out.
But Facebookifying (Require Login)?!?!?! Man you've become what you hated, so.
So there you have it
Threads. An ironic alternative to Elon's damages. Go ahead, feel free to try, if you ummm had nothing to hide.
What about Tesla
Phased out. Not only Elon canceled Indonesia branch of manufacturing, everything.
We got Hyundai IONIQ 5, and that's what we're going to acquire.
I know, no entertainment of sort unlike Tesla, but you might agree that an games in dash probably is a bunch of unecessariums. Car is to transport medium amount of objects, that's all. Okeh, but I still wish Hyundai had gaming like Tesla though after what we found in the middle dash cluster, an Android, and previously Windows CE.
youtube
Yeah. The entertainment in the middle is basically embedded multimedia computer, of course. After I think.. 2015 or 2016, it's Android.
No, the Cluster is another minimal computer, of course. We're talking the middle computer.
Wait we're going outta where.
Yeah, no more Tesla. Hyundai is better in my opinion. It's price still a million IDR, but certainly much less than Tesla (not only still import but many factors added). And it's decent enough.
And yeah. I am confused. Threads is by Facebook. Meta. Oh man. I wish the new Twitter wasn't Facebook. Still centralized ae eff right??
Well, stick to Tumblr. Idk.
Buh

Zuckerberg Takes on Musk’s Twitter With Threads App
Meta Platforms plans to launch a Twitter-rivaling microblogging app called Threads, days after Twitter boss Elon Musk attracted criticism by announcing a temporary cap on how many posts users can read on the social media site.
Threads is expected to be released Thursday and will allow users to retain followers from photo-sharing platform Instagram, and keep the same username, a listing on Apple’s App Store showed.
The rollout represents a direct challenge to Twitter, which has faced numerous controversies since Musk bought the company for $44 billion in 2022.
Last week, the Tesla billionaire announced a slate of new restrictions on the app, limiting the number of tweets users could view per day, prompting an outcry from many on the platform.
While alternative microblogging sites — such as Mastodon and Blue Sky — have seen an uptick in user numbers since Musk’s acquisition, neither has been able to challenge Twitter.
But Instagram already has hundreds of millions of registered users and has a history of introducing new features based on the success of other social media firms.
In 2016, it added a feature called “stories” to Instagram, or user posts that disappear after a fixed amount of time, in response to the rising popularity of Snapchat.
More recently, the company’s short-form video feature “Reels” has sought to challenge the rise of TikTok.
The launch of Threads by Meta, the company that Mark Zuckerberg chairs, represents a credible threat to Twitter under Musk, whose attempts to boost revenues and reshape the platform his own image have faced severe criticism.
After acquiring the company late last year, he laid off around 80% of staff and reinstated a number of banned accounts, such as those of former U.S. President Donald Trump and conservative satirical news site Babylon Bee.
Hundreds of advertisers, concerned by a perceived rise in harmful content on the platform, paused spend with Twitter, and internal documents seen by Reuters showed the platform’s most active users becoming disengaged.
Meta did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment on a similar launch on the Google Play Store. Reuters approached Twitter for comment.

Earnings are off to a decent start. Next week is the big test for tech
Stocks rallied this week as earnings season ramped up and is so far off to a better-than-expected start. With 20% of the S & P 500 having reported financials so far, sales results have thus far been 1.4% above expectations while earnings results are 5.4% above expectations, in aggregate. While the estimates have come down in recent weeks, it could signal that investors are becoming a bit too…

Here's why 7 Club stocks, including Nvidia and Meta, beat the market in January and February, defying this year's seesaw start
This year has, so far, been something of a Jekyll and Hyde market for equities. January’s strength was a welcome reprieve from the brutality that was 2022. February’s stumble has reminded us that sticky inflation remains a challenge for both the broader economy and stocks. With that in mind, we sifted through our portfolio to find names with a mix of durable fundamentals and stories strong enough…
