OMFG the Raiden headcanons were so cute!!! Maybe a part 2 about him comferting Y/N in childbirth, if ur not okay with that maybe after the child is born???

MGS2! Raiden x Fem!Reader Childbirth headcannons

-The minute you announce it's go time, Raiden is on his feet, alert and at the ready, like a new recruit before the drill sergeant. His hands are shaking and he's sweating like crazy, but he has to stay strong for your sake.

-He holds you by the shoulders and guides you to the car, shushing you despite his hysteria and telling you everything's gonna be okay.

-Once you guys get into the car, he helps you buckle your seat belt (and misses the socket like 100 times because his hands are that shaky) and speeds off towards the hospital, his mind so overcome with panic, he forgets the rules of the road entirely.

-You, amid your agony, have to remind him to slow down and stop at the red lights or you might get pulled over.

-Eventually Raiden manages to compose himself and gets you guys to the hospital safely; before long you're ushered to the triage room and the necessary procedures are taken.

-Meanwhile, Raiden stands at your side, offering his hand for you to squeeze and assuring you that everything's gonna go smoothly--and it does.

-Your kid is born! A beautiful little baby, they are. Raiden's heart is filled with so much joy he forgets to breathe for a bit. He gingerly takes the infant into his arms and cradles it gently, awed that this gorgeous little thing was made by the two of you.

-It was love at first sight; that kid is the sunlight of his world, and you're the sun.

-Raiden carefully hands the baby over to you, kisses your cheek, and tells you that you're amazing for having delivered the kid, that he loves you and your new baby, and that he'll always be there to protect the both of you.

-Watches you drift off to sleep with the baby in your arms and can't help but snap a picture--which he soon makes his wallpaper.

(Bonus headcannon)

-Raiden still has that picture as his wallpaper even after all the incidents that followed MGS2. It's a reminder that he didn't lose his humanity along with his body--his humanity lies with his family: You guys.

I was basically wondering if I could have a fluff request with MGS2 Raiden where the reader just practically dotes on Raiden? Like maybe the reader comes home from a long day of shopping just to surprise Raiden with gifts they bought for him and maybe even feeding him some sweets or something? Besotted (MGS2!Raiden x reader)

You fumbled with your keys, cycling through each one until you found the house key you were locking for. Giddily, you slid it into the lock and swung the door open, entering the quiet solace of your home. "You're back," Raiden called from the couch, nodding at you with a soft smile on his face. "Have fun?" You nodded, setting down the bags you were carrying on the coffee table. "I got presents for you!" Raiden blinked a few times, unsure of whether or not he heard that right. "Presents?" You nodded brightly, reaching into one of the bags and pulling out a light blue, oversized sweater. "For you." You said, placing it into his arms. Raiden examined the garment with great curiosity, before smiling widely. "Thanks. I love it." He immediately tugged off his shirt and slipped the sweater on, sinking back into the couch when he felt how soft and fuzzy it was.

"Ah, but there's more," You said, grinning. Reaching into one of the other bags, you pulled out a set of fluffy white tiger slippers and a beautiful crystal pendant. "All for me?" Raiden asked, as you shoved the items into his hands. "All for you!" Raiden chuckled, a light blush spreading across his face. "Thank you so much, Y/N..this is amazing." He wasted no time in sliding the slippers onto his feet and clasping the pendant around his neck. "How do I look?" You beamed, throwing your arms around him and squealing. "Friggin' gorgeous!" Raiden returned your hug full force, squeezing you so tightly you heard you spine pop in some places. "I love you, Y/N," He whispered, resting his head on your shoulder. "I really do." You playfully mussed up his hair, still smiling widely. "I'm glad--all I want to do is spoil you." Raiden's blush suddenly deepened; he cleared his throat several times before lying down on the couch and spreading his arms wide welcomingly. "Want to help me break in this new sweater?"

You wasted no time in tackling him, hooking your limbs around his and lying flat (or as flat as you could) on his chest. "So warm..." You mumbled, running your hands up and down his torso. "It is, isn't it? Good for winter." You nodded your agreement before closing your eyes and drifting off to sleep, surrounded by warmth and love.
