8/10 Creme Brulee Milk tea :) personally, i am not a fan of tapioca pearls but the drink itself was so good ! i was thirsty and it was humid and hot in florida, so i downed this drink pretty quickly ! i got regular levels on everything (sugar, ice, yada yada) and got extra creme brulee as a topping. Not much to say here, it was a sweet drink ^_^ it actually tasted like a regular milk tea, just with a little bit if carmelized sugar, not much creme brulee :c i had a few of the pearls and they were nice and soft ! I got this from Mogee Tea :)

🎮📚🎶💯🌈❤️💔💙🍔☕️🤔🧐🤓😓😞 for ALL CHARACTERS IN GIGACROSS (I’m kidding that would take a month, dealer’s choice of OC)
For this ask, I’ll be using Abel Kneller, a character from SHY.
Abel is a fifteen year old boy, the (adoptive) son of a powerful russian mafia family, who’s father decided he was done with crime, and moved the whole family out to a cabin in the woods.
Abel’s major character influences are The Son from Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, The Beast from Over The Garden Wall, and Andrew W.K.
🎮— what are three of your oc's favorite hobbies?
Given the setting and nature of SHY, he sort of has to be into video games. He also reads a fair amount, specifically horror of all kinds. However he does not enjoy horror movies and prefers action/thriller movies.
📚 — what level of education has your oc most recently completed/is currently in (GED, undergraduate, grad school, phd, etc)?
Given that Abel is fifteen and lives in the woods, where he’s being homeschooled, there’s sorta your answer there.
🎶— what type of music does your oc like? do they listen to music very often?
Abel listens to mainly Rock and Grunge, but occasionally EDM as well. He owns an electric guitar but doesn’t know how to play.
💯 — share three random facts about your oc that others may not know.
A part of his influence from The Beast is that he has an amazing singing voice.
Abel’s love of horror and action is an expression of his cowardice, because of the numerous deeply-held phobias that he has. He should probably see a therapist, but again. Middle of the fucking woods.
A lot of Abel’s moveset is named after things from Hotline Miami or Andrew W.K.’s music.
🌈 — what is your oc's sexual orientation/gender identity? what pronouns do they use?
Abel is straight, demisexual, and uses he/him pronouns. Unfortunately, he is terrified of betrayal so he hasn’t built up enough of a connection with anyone to experience attraction.
❤️— what are three of your oc's positive traits?
Taking a pass on this, too difficult, sorry.
💔— what are three of your oc's negative traits?
Cowardly, Violent, and Gullible.
💙 — does your oc have any cool/special powers and/or abilities? how are they with magic, if it exists in their world?
So many. Like actually it would be really hard to list them, so I’ll just go with two: Abel can override reality with itself by refusing to believe a particular reality warping ability happened, essentially causing it to not have happened. Wanna cast fireball on him? You can’t do that, he doesn’t believe in it.
Second, is that he has an invisible circle around him at a 25 foot radius, that when enemies step outside of it in combat, he can teleport in front of them.
🍔 — is your oc good at cooking? are they good at baking? which one do they prefer?
I don’t think Abel’s good at cooking but I don’t think he’s bad either. Like he could probably bake a potato. Which isn’t a high benchmark but. It’s a benchmark.
☕️ — does your oc prefer coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk, water, or some other drink? how do they like to take this drink (ex. coffee with milk, hot chocolate with whipped cream, a specific kind of tea, etc)?
Knowing how jittery Abel is, he probably downs like 6 or 7 energy drinks a day. I’m not sure if he even tastes them.
🤔— what are some of your oc's quirks/mannerisms?
I’m not sure I need to answer this with all the other stuff I’ve got. He probably cracks his knuckles a lot though. That’s not that quirky.
🧐— is your oc more logical or emotional?
Oh emotional for sure. Mostly fear.
🤓 — is your oc chatty or quiet? are they at ease in social situations, or are they more shy?
Quiet. In social situations, he’s usually too shy to open up, and it takes a while. Given that he starts as an antagonist.
😓 — is your oc open-minded or stubborn? are they inquisitive or do they prefer to keep to their bubble of knowledge?
Stubborn as hell, not even a little curious.
😞— does your oc attract others, or do they tend to be left alone?
Well, he’d LOVE to be left alone, but given that he’s a minor antagonist and in charge of a significant location in the plot, people won’t leave him the hell alone.

Adventures In Toronto
Wednesday - Arrival
The Canucks' private plane has touched down in Toronto for the All Star Game. Each Canuck have brought their partners, and Millsy and Thatcher have even brought their kids. Tocchet leads them to their cars after going through security. Joanna has never been to Toronto before. This is her sixth NHL city. Born and raised in Vancouver, where she still lives. She's been to San Jose, St Louis, and Miami with Elias for previous All Star Games. And Vegas with him when he won the Calder. She doesn't count her brief stop in Detroit when she flew out to see Elias and Quinn that summer, all she saw was the airport. ''God, this city is massive, isn't it?'' Olivia says.
Joanna nods, taking some pictures out the window. ''Yeah, hope this weekend is happier than the last game.'' She'll never forget saying goodbye to Bo, Holly, and the kids in Miami last year. She hates that Bo had to find out they handfasted while visiting. Elias holds her hand in his, and promises her. ''We arrive together, we leave together this time, alskling, promise.''
At the hotel, they meet up with Jack and the rest, and head in for some dinner. Then, on Tocchet's orders, it's bed time.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thursday - Draft
Draft Day has come, the boys are all up early, but the ladies are given some extra sleep. Joanna is up at nine, the bed too cold without Elias next to her. She showers, and brushes her teeth, and gets her hair done into a nice half updo. She's doing her makeup, when a knock comes at the door. ''Come in.'' Bella and Olivia come in, dressed for the day already. ''Hey, girls, what's up?'' Joanna slides some tights on, and belts her favourite turtleneck dress up. Bella sits on the bed. ''We just wanted some advice about today, we've never done this before. You have.''
Joanna chuckles, and fiddles with her handfast ring. ''Oh, okay, well, what do you wanna ask me?''
Olivia takes a seat. ''How do we y'know... conduct ourselves? Like, there's so many important people here, how do we not look stupid in front of them?''
Joanna packs her purse, and zips her boots up. ''Just like you'd approach the boys, or coach. If Etiquette Classes taught me anything it was: be comfortable in yourself, and you're seventy percent there.'' Bella nods, turning pink slightly. ''It sounds so dumb to ask, but we're so new to all this, and you've been to four of these now, and...''
Joanna takes her friend's hands, assuring her. ''It's not dumb, Bells, it isn't. I lost count of how many times I turned to Holly and Amanda for advice back then. Wanna know a secret about San Jose?''
Olivia looks interested. ''Go on.'' Joanna laughs, smoothing down her skirt. ''I was terrified, stuck to Elias like glue all weekend, I was nineteen and absolutely petrified. Didn't help that my childhood crush was there. I was down bad for Kris Letang as a kid.''
The ladies all sit together for the draft. Joanna wrinkles her nose at the red jerseys their team are wearing, red has never been her favourite colour on Elias. The garish yellow stars don't help. Scarlett Miller wants up on her lap. ''Hi, sweetie, come on. What team do you want daddy going to, Scarly?''
Scarlett thinks for a minute. ''Uhm, Huggy's team.'' Olivia laughs, agreeing with the little girl. ''Me too.''
Sure enough Scarlett is a prophet, the pod sticks together, except for the new guy. Elias Lindholm going to a different team. The girls also stick around for the PWHL showcase.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Friday - Skills Competition
The Canucks, Devils duo, and Tkachuks are sitting down to breakfast together before the skills comp. The girls all dressed nice, the boys suited up. Joanna goes to grab some more tea from the buffet, half milk and two sugars as she likes, a distinct feeling of anticipation at their table. She gets back, the boys talking animatedly among themselves. ''Did I miss something while grabbing my drink?'' She asks Emma.
Emma nods, beaming, but not giving anything away. ''Yeah, you kinda did.''
Elias turns to her, blue eyes sparkling, and takes her hand in his. He goes into his pocket, producing a blue velvet box, it's happening, it's actually happening! ''Joanna, last summer, we made some promises to each other. I asked you in Sweden to handfast with me. Now, I ask you in Canada: Joanna, my love, will you marry me?'' He opens the box, producing a gorgeous ring, rose gold adorned with a diamond flanked by two rubies. Joanna, heart racing, says. ''Yes!'' He slides the ring onto her finger, and pulls her in for a kiss. ''Congrats, guys, it's the best feeling ever.'' Thatcher says.
Elias nods, his fiancee now on his lap. ''Thanks, Demmer, been waiting to do it for ages, figured this was a great time.'' He looks to his other half. ''Anna, are you okay?''
Joanna nods, green eyes glossy. ''Yeah, I just love you so much.'' Elias kisses her again. ''I love you too.''
Joanna makes the texts after Elias is called to the bus. Their people must know before the press find out later on today, she'd hate it if Theresa, her best friend, found out on TV in particular.
At the arena, the girls watch as McDavid wins fastest skater, Olivia says. ''Quinn came third, so that's good at least.'' She's always been Quinn's number one supporter, even before they got together. ''Yeah, can't wait for hardest shot.'' Lexie says, bouncing little Dawson on her lap. ''Neither can I, Elias basically owns that.'' Joanna says.
Elias manages 2 points in the one-timers event, Kate Peterson comes to the ladies during the passing challenge. ''Good afternoon to our Canuck ladies, enjoying the skills comp so far?''
Bella laughs, Brock isn't in it, so she's just there to support the others. ''Yeah, kinda didn't know what to expect, but this is so cool.'' Joanna nods in agreement. ''Been here before, but this one feels so different. We're not saying goodbye to anyone, and we're all together this year.'' Kate notices the ring, shimmering in the arena lights. ''I take it a Hockey wedding is on the horizon?''
Joanna nods, beaming again. ''Yeah, Elias proposed this morning.'' Elias also goes on to win the passing challenge.
Cale Makar wins hardest shot, McDavid wins stick handling and accuracy shooting. Georgiev wins the one-on-one challenge. ''Well, who would've guessed? Connor helps design the comp, and wins the thing!'' Olivia remarks, sounding a touch bitter.
They catch up with the boys backstage, Joanna slings her arms around her fiance's waist, and kisses him. ''Another skills comp done, darling, we've not missed one yet.''
Elias lets his hands clasp at the small of her back, and kisses her gently. ''Who are you supporting at Four Nations next year?'' Joanna says, matter of factly as always. ''The team my husband plays for.'' Elias, aquamarine eyes focused deeply into her emerald ones, like they have been since 2018, says. ''Good to know.''
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Saturday - Game Day
Joanna and the girls take their seats for the Team Hughes vs Team Matthews game. Despite his awful showing in the skills comp yesterday, Kucherov buries one to open scoring for Team Hughes. DeBrincat answers with a goal of his own just over a minute later. ''Come on, Jon, wake up, honey.'' Natalie urges her husband. Joanna turns her engagement ring on her finger, already used to the weight on her left hand. Anaheim star Frank Vatrano fires one past Oettinger for 2-1. ''I wish Brock could get one, he wasn't in the skills comp yesterday.'' Bella says.
DeBrincat adds another to the boards to tie it 2-2 going into the second half. Mitch Marner pads the lead as the second half begins, Elias gets the puck on his stick, and ties it, pointing to Joanna with his stick. Joanna, for her part, winks at him. ''That never gets old, huh?'' Olivia asks.
Joanna laughs, and says. ''Not even a little bit, Liv, no.''
Filip Forsberg puts Team Matthews ahead, but Brady Tkachuk responds just as his dad would've. ''That's my man, Brady!'' Emma cheers him on. Vatrano adds another goal for Team Hughes. Only for Forsberg to tie it with two minutes to go. ''Shootout time, buckle up, girls.'' Lexie says, sounding confident in her husband, so she should.
The shootout goes to the wire, with Alex DeBrincat scoring the game winner for Team Matthews.
Team Hughes and Team MacKinnon head back to the hotel for a late lunch after the games. Elias Lindholm finally getting to sit with his new team mates. ''Anything I should know before we head back to Vancouver?'' Lindholm asks.
Quinn, stepping into captain mode for a brief moment, says. ''Just that we're excited to have you on board, that's all.'' Thatcher adds to the primer. ''And, Garly, Blue, and JoDak are insane. But, in a good way.''
Elias adds. ''And, you're invited to a Canucks wedding this summer too.''
Lindholm smiles, weddings are always good news, no matter who it is. ''Thank you very much, congrats on that by the way.'' Joanna finishes her meal, and says. ''Thanks, we handfasted in Agne over summer too.''
Of all people, Sidney Crosby pipes up. ''Oh, did you? That's so cool! My grandparents did that too. Good luck on the wedding and marriage.''
Elias speaks for them, his fiancee too starstruck to speak. ''Thank you, Sid.''
That night, Joanna is just done getting ready for bed. Her face and hands moisturized, hair put in a braid, and case packed for their flight home tomorrow afternoon. She exits the bathroom, Elias is already fast asleep, big events like this have always tired him out, and the rush of the proposal is probably catching up to him. Joanna joins him in bed, and kisses his temple. ''Jag älskar dag, käresta.'' She whispers, and curls up with him, out in minutes.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sunday - Home
It's all over and done with until 2027 now, bags are packed, and cars are loaded up for flights back to the other 31 cities. Joanna gets back from a shop with a box of chocolates and a card thanking the staff for housing them for the weekend. Farewells are said, and the Canucks family get into their cars, having not said any goodbyes, instead, they're heading back to Vancouver with someone. ''Nice weekend, love?'' Elias asks Joanna while she reads on the flight home.
Joanna nods, and marks her page. ''Yeah, feels odd that I've been with you for all four of these, but this is it until 2027. Four Nations next year, and then the Olympics.''
Elias chuckles, kissing her head. ''Yeah, it does in a way, doesn't it? We'll be married and starting our family by then. Excited for that?'' Joanna can't help the smile that comes to her face. ''Elias, I've been excited for that since we got together. That's never changed.'' Elias says, linking their pinkies together. ''Good, because so am I.''
Elias gets back to his movie, Joanna gets back to her book, and they return to their city with their family. A hectic weekend behind them, a busy work schedule ahead, and a wedding in summer. But, they're ready, they're together, and that's all that will ever matter.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A/N: OMG, this is finally done!! Had this in the pipeline since asg, but college and stuff got in the way. But, she's finally done! Happy with how this turned out.
Sunday, August 20th: Hurricane Hillary (Chil-ary)
I've had a very romantic morning to myself. Hurricane Hillary (as of 11:41 am when I'm writing this) is a consistent drizzle at this point. I woke up to grey light, my white comforter, and the light tapping of rain on my window. Deep breaths, fresh smells (although some of that is due to the dew-scented pura pods Hannah bought). Martyn and I agreed "motorbiking" in the middle of a category 4 hurricane probs wasn't the move, but he may come over to keep me company while Hannah is in Mexico and Makenna is in Burbank.
I refreshed Blue's food and water and she was very sweet to me. Her little face and voice make her seem like such a sweet girlie cat. It really amps the aesthetic vibe of the house. Even Lumos is coming for cuddles.
Yesterday and Friday both ended up being great nights. Sam brought rose wine because I mentioned I liked it and added the new Dua Lipa and other Indie artists to the playlist for me. The hotel he booked was called Sonder in "The" OC (an inside joke now because I hadn't realized I had been referencing it like the TV show for years now). For the Miami Vice theme, I ended up wearing a tropical dress and some '90s-looking shades, and a bright red lip that ended up playfully on Sam's lips before the night was over. Damning evidence. We danced stupidly on the front of the boat and hung out with a very-drunk Kelli (her pink wig was askew) and a slightly less drunk Joe.
His friends are very fratty, but they were inviting and Sam seemed one of the more good-natured there. Or maybe that was for my benefit? We ended the night by smoking a joint on the beach, ordering some pizza, and crashing out to an episode of Friends while he rubbed my neck.
The next morning, Kelli and Joe weren't able to make it to brunch due to collegiate levels of hungoverness. We packed up the room and found an alarming amount of other people's items while looking for Sam's flip-flop. We grabbed coffee at Laguna Beach Cafe (my chai tea was delicious), where they offered things like raw milk for an extra four dollars and had pictures of pro-skim borders covering the walls. Too So-Cal to quit.
I charged my phone in the car and played Indie music as the sky slowly turned grey. As much as everyone was supposed to prep for a hurricane, there were still people camped out at the beach and bobbing around the cliffs because Californians truly don't give a fuck.
We picked up Sam's friend Parker and went to his friend Tyler's place for a home-cooked brunch. It was amazing. Maple sausage, scrambled eggs, buttered toast, and bacon. We hung out and chatted until about 1:30 before heading back home.
We made a pit stop in Encinitas for Lobster Rolls at Lobster West (I ended up grabbing a crab one and Sam went for shrimp). Buttery brioche bun and amazing fresh crab with lemon, I am definitely going back. We walked along the cliffside admiring the kind of expensive houses the weird-rich buy before heading back to the car.
All in all it's been a pretty wonderful weekend. We'll see what else the storm blows into town.
A Little Tea for You
Tea shows up in quite a few young adult novels. I adore tea and on occasion I may go overboard trying and buying different varieties–so when characters are drinking tea, I pay attention.
When thinking about tea, one book that immediately springs to mind is Darius the Great Is Not Okay and its companion Darius the Great Deserves Better by Adib Khorram. Our interview with him is here–and yes, we did talk about tea.
Darius Kellner speaks better Klingon than Farsi, and he knows more about Hobbit social cues than Persian ones. He’s a Fractional Persian–half, his mom’s side–and his first-ever trip to Iran is about to change his life.
Darius has never really fit in at home, and he’s sure things are going to be the same in Iran. His clinical depression doesn’t exactly help matters, and trying to explain his medication to his grandparents only makes things harder. Then Darius meets Sohrab, the boy next door, and everything changes. Soon, they’re spending their days together, playing soccer, eating faludeh, and talking for hours on a secret rooftop overlooking the city’s skyline. Sohrab calls him Darioush–the original Persian version of his name–and Darius has never felt more like himself than he does now that he’s Darioush to Sohrab.
Here are a few others I’ve enjoyed that feature tea.
A Cuban Girl’s Guide to Tea and Tomorrow by Laura Taylor Namey
For Lila Reyes, a summer in England was never part of the plan. The plan was 1) take over her abuela’s role as head baker at their panadería, 2) move in with her best friend after graduation, and 3) live happily ever after with her boyfriend. But then the Trifecta happened, and everything—including Lila herself—fell apart.
Worried about Lila’s mental health, her parents make a new plan for her: Spend three months with family friends in Winchester, England, to relax and reset. But with the lack of sun, a grumpy inn cook, and a small town lacking Miami flavor (both in food and otherwise), what would be a dream trip for some feels more like a nightmare to Lila…until she meets Orion Maxwell.
A teashop clerk with troubles of his own, Orion is determined to help Lila out of her funk, and appoints himself as her personal tour guide. From Winchester’s drama-filled music scene to the sweeping English countryside, it isn’t long before Lila is not only charmed by Orion, but England itself. Soon a new future is beginning to form in Lila’s mind—one that would mean leaving everything she ever planned behind.
A Magic Steeped in Poison–the first book in the Tea Duology by Judy I. Lin [this will be our discussion book for May!!]
I used to look at my hands with pride. Now all I can think is, “These are the hands that buried my mother.”
For Ning, the only thing worse than losing her mother is knowing that it’s her own fault. She was the one who unknowingly brewed the poison tea that killed her—the poison tea that now threatens to also take her sister, Shu.
When Ning hears of a competition to find the kingdom’s greatest shennong-shi—masters of the ancient and magical art of tea-making—she travels to the imperial city to compete. The winner will receive a favor from the princess, which may be Ning’s only chance to save her sister’s life.
But between the backstabbing competitors, bloody court politics, and a mysterious (and handsome) boy with a shocking secret, Ning might actually be the one in more danger.
Serpentine by Cindy Pon [who also happens to talk about her favorite milk tea in our interview here]
Lush with details from Chinese folklore, SERPENTINE tells the coming of age story of Skybright, a young girl who worries about her growing otherness. As she turns sixteen, Skybright notices troubling changes. By day, she is a companion and handmaid to the youngest daughter of a very wealthy family. But nighttime brings with it a darkness that not even daybreak can quell.
When her plight can no longer be denied, Skybright learns that despite a dark destiny, she must struggle to retain her sense of self – even as she falls in love for the first time.
Jade Fire Gold by June C.L. [Our group discussion of this one is here]
Told in a dual POV narrative, JADE FIRE GOLD is a YA fantasy inspired by Chinese mythology as well as xianxia and wuxia elements. Epic in scope but intimate in characterization, fans of classic fantasies and the magical Asiatic setting of AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER will enjoy this cinematic tale of family, revenge, and forgiveness.
In order to save her grandmother from a cult of dangerous priests, a peasant girl cursed with the power to steal souls enters a tenuous alliance with an exiled prince bent on taking back the Dragon Throne. The pair must learn to trust each other but are haunted by their pasts—and the true nature of her dark magic.
The Summer of Everything by Julian Winters
An avid comic book geek, Wes excels at two things: slacking off and pining after his best friend, Nico. Advice from his friends, ’90s alt-rock songs, and online dating articles aren’t helping much with his secret crush. And his dream job at Once Upon a Page, the local indie bookstore, is threatened when a coffeeshop franchise wants to buy the property. To top it off, his family won’t stop pestering him about picking a college major.
When all three problems converge, Wes must face with the one thing he’s been avoiding—adulthood.
And a few specifically had boba tea–
A Taste for Love by Jennifer Yen [Our review is here]
To everyone else, high school senior Liza Yang is practically perfect. Pretty, smart, and well-liked, she’s salutatorian of her class and starting a prestigious university in the fall. To her ultra-traditional Taiwanese mom, however, Liza is stubborn and rebellious, unlike her older sister Jeannie. She won’t even date a proper Asian boy! The only thing mother and daughter agree on is Liza’s talent for baking. With Mrs. Yang’s annual junior baking competition on the horizon, Liza’s determined to prove she’s more than Jeannie’s shadow. If only she knew her mother has plans of her own…
Not Here to Be Liked by Michelle Quach [our review is here]
Eliza Quan is the perfect candidate for editor in chief of her school paper. That is, until ex-jock Len DiMartile decides on a whim to run against her. Suddenly her vast qualifications mean squat because inexperienced Len—who is tall, handsome, and male—just seems more like a leader.
When Eliza’s frustration spills out in a viral essay, she finds herself inspiring a feminist movement she never meant to start, caught between those who believe she’s a gender equality champion and others who think she’s simply crying misogyny.
Amid this growing tension, the school asks Eliza and Len to work side by side to demonstrate civility. But as they get to know one another, Eliza feels increasingly trapped by a horrifying realization—she just might be falling for the face of the patriarchy himself.
I’m sure I’ve missed a few books with tea. If you know of others, please share the titles with us. Happy reading!
@sophiedoesherbest and I did a "words you associate with X character" of the 104th cadets
For Rent || Jin
Tumblr media
Genre: Fluff, angst, comedy(?), Jin x asexual!reader
Warnings: mentions sexy times and multiple funky fresh sex themes but no actual frisky actions cause I ain’t about that,,
Summary: Bts is a line of men who can be rented for various sexual activities. One night, Kim Seokjin hits the jackpot of being rented for a whole month. When he shows up with all of his “gear”, the last thing he expects is to become a live-in fiancé with a girl who isn’t into sex.
This is a Fem!reader
A/N: This was supposed to be a quick oneshot drabble, but it’s 3.6k words..... anyways, Happy Birthday @ahgassok !! this is for you :)
────── ☽. ✧₊∘ ──────
Seokjin get’s called into the office after his latest gig. He walks in, still dressed up in a suit and tie because his client requested it, and takes a seat across from his boss.
 “Seokjin, you’re really moving up the ladder these days, aren’t you?” His boss smiles warmly at all of the attention Jin has been getting. Seokjin does have to admit though, he wasn’t a popular choice on the roster when he first joined, but that doesn’t quite mean his ranks have been smooth sailing either. “I have very exciting news for you, kid.”
“What is it, Boss?” Seokjin questions. This could go in two very different directions. He was either getting promoted, or he was being sold to a bigger company.
“A client wants to rent you out for a whole month.” The big boss man is beaming to high heavens when he announces it to Seokjin. Jin’s eyes widen at the thought of someone wanting him for a whole month, let alone the sheer thought of how much that costed them was enough to send shivers down his spine.
“...what?” Jin responds as an afterthought. Most people would rent by the hour with him. This was the most common and usual source of income; Clients want a one night with no guilty conscience of the other party, and that was fine. Being rented for a few days or even a week, however, was a big deal within the group. Seokjin hadn’t ever had a client for a whole week, but his much more popular and younger coworkers had. He remembers the story Jungkook told him about being rented out to a sorority group for a week, and then being called back by them for another fun weekend in Miami.
But being rented for a whole month? And it wasn’t an already existing client, it was someone entirely new to him. The Head Honcho gives him a rundown of company manners, and Jin can only nod dumbly as he tries to soak up all of the new information. He receives the client’s list of likes and dislikes, and in a blink of an eye, he finds himself walking back out the way he came.
Taehyung is the first to approach him; it’s the next day when Jin is packing all of his clothes from the company dorms. “I heard the big news, Hyung!” Taehyung exclaims. Out of all of the members, Taehyung was the only one who’d get rented out by the months. People requested odd jobs from him. Once, he got called in to model for a magazine company and then have sex immediately afterwords with the manager. “I’m so proud,” Taehyung feigns a sob-like expression,” My Kim Seokjin is finally getting the kind of work he deserves.”
“How do you do it, Taehyung?” Seokjin continues to fold his clothes neatly into a suitcase. “I don’t even know who I’m going to be spending all of this time with. What if.. what if they turn out to be some secret trafficking network? What if I get thrown into an underground mafia cult?”
“You’ll be fine,” He pats Jin on the shoulder. “Our company holds strict regulations and runs background checks on every client. I do admit, though,” Taehyung lulls his head to one side,” clients like these are always unpredictable.”
A good night’s rest and suddenly he finds himself standing in front of the client’s door. He didn’t really know what kinds of sex toys to pack since their form was answered in the most unconventional way possible. Instead of a list of kinks and turn ons, there were written-in answers, so he only knew that she:
1. really enjoyed baking, but isn’t very good at it. He wasn’t sure if this person had a sweets kink or something, but he wasn’t going to complain about whipped cream foreplay.
2. liked a more domestic approach to love. Want’s to be called Love, Honey, sweetie, baby, etc.
and that was it. Other than her name, age, and birthday, that was it. It did say that she wasn’t a virgin, but maybe she wanted to have the “first time” experience with someone again? Jin decided to pack more normal toys, vibrators, dildos, condoms, and whatnot. Taking a deep breath, he knocks on the door.
When it opens, he sees the girl from the profile picture he was given. The reality was closing in on him that he was really going to spend a month with her. “..uh, hello, my name is Kim Seokjin, and I--” He’s caught off guard when she wordlessly takes his hand and gently pulls him inside.
Her home is relatively small, but it’s so minimalistic and clean that it looks like it came straight out of ikea. “Your profile said that you majored in acting, right?” his client asks him, and he’s suddenly scrambling to make a good impression.
“Yeah, I... I was an acting major.” He smiles at her.
She doesn’t say anything else, so he comes up to the kitchen island. Jin watches as she busies herself in the kitchen, making a milk tea of sorts. Your initial impression on him was calm and collected: you seemed neat and organized like your living space. What he notices however, is the way her hands are trembling ever so slightly as she pours the drink into two glasses. He realizes that even as sweet and pretty as she was, there wasn’t a smile. You were biting the inside of your cheek, and trying to take subtle deep breaths.
“Your name is y/n, right?” He waits for you to nod before he continues. “I don’t want to overstep any boundaries here, but,” Jin looks into y/n’s eyes,”....is there something bothering you?”
Immediately, the illusion that y/n worked really hard on started to crumble. All of the composure she had completely left her body in one shaky sigh. “I’m.. I’m so sorry I have to drag you into this.” She slides him one of the drinks as she perches herself on a nearby stool. “I know you’re supposed to be like my sexy fun time man, but I’m ace, so that’s kind of out of the question.” Y/n stares into her cup as if it was the most interesting thing in the world.
“....Then why am I here?” Jin wonders aloud. He doesn’t mind the fact that you’re not into intercourse like he is, but then again, doing the do is kind of his job.
“My dad,” y/n swallows the lump forming in her throat. “he’s started bothering me with questions about my love life. I felt bad, being in my late twenties and all, so I told him that I was engaged. Last week, he told me he wanted to meet my fiancé and that he was going to stay here for a few weeks starting next week.”
Jin stares at her in disbelief, what has he gotten himself into? “And you’re telling me that I’m.... I’m the fiancé?”
A dry laugh escapes her lips, and if it weren’t for the absurdity of the situation, Jin would tell her how pretty she was. “Yeah,” She looks at him, finally letting herself take in his features. An oversized hoodie was draped over his large body with black ripped skinny jeans hugging his legs for dear life. There isn’t a hint of anger written on his face, only a comforting (albeit a little shocked) smile. “My dad owns a pretty big company, and he recently had a near death experience. Ever since then, everyone’s been breathing down my neck making sure I was stable in every way possible. And I mean every single fucking way. ”
“Why?” Jin quips. He takes a sip out of her concoction, praying that she didn’t slip him a drug of any sort. Holy shit, it was the best thing he ever came across since discovering Jungkook’s fursona. It takes everything in him to not make some weird howl of pleasure at the utter euphoria his tastebuds were experiencing.
“So, when he inevitably passes,” she grimaces,” I’ll be able to take over. I love my old man, and I was hoping that he could retire before I see him drop dead in the middle of his office one day. He always tells me it’s harder to fall in love after people learn about what position you’re in. Hence this weird must-already-have-a-fiancé rule.” A smile barely ghosts her lips before she takes a sip of her drink,” Sorry; I’ll understand if you don’t want to have anything to do with my soap opera-esque situation.”
He quietly sips his drink, lost in this pool of new information. Surprisingly, he’s been calm this whole entire time. If he’d been thrusted into this situation years ago, he’d have flipped out in a not so good way. Thank god he found his big boy pants before this; he genuinely wanted to help y/n. She seemed to be really considerate, and he wanted to stay. At the very least, she’d probably be able to make a killer margarita with drink skills like these. “Out of the whole line-up, why’d you choose me?”
She’s stunned for a moment before replying,”Why wouldn’t I?”
“It’s just,” Jin swirls the drink with his straw,” I’m sure I wasn’t the first name to pop up on our page.”
“Oh,” Y/n tucks a strand of hair behind her ear. A light blush sweeps across her cheeks, and she clears her throat. “..Is it weird you somehow fit my ideal type? I guess if I had to pick something, it’d be the way you smile.”
The reply was so simple, and yet it struck a chord with him. Usually when he asks, they say they like his plump lips or his feet, and if he was unlucky enough, they’d tell him he was convenient. Jin chuckles,” Y/n, are you trying to flirt with me? I’m already yours, but knock yourself out, baby.”
The first few days were awkward, to say the least. Jin on the job, but not doing his job, was hard to get used to. He’d often wake up and wonder where he was, only to remember the agreement he made days ago that started it all. This morning was much like the other ones: brief seconds of confusion followed by acceptance. Y/n’s house was nice, but after his conversation, she grew a little distant; the house felt emptier when she didn’t talk to him.
Jin rolls out of his bed, and trudged into the kitchen. This morning, he woke up earlier than her. Deciding that if he was hired to be a fiancé, he was going to be the best damned fiancé that she’d ever have.
That morning was different from your usual mornings. You woke up to a sweet smell lingering in the air. In the early morning haze, you half dress yourself and wander into the kitchen area. The low sizzle of the pan greeted your ears, and Jin’s broad shoulders stood hunched over the stove. He notices your presence, and turns around with a smile, the pan still in his hands.
“Good morning, sweetheart.” He says.
“...good morning?” Your brain is still trying to wake up and process what’s happening. “Am I dreaming right now?”
The response is just lighthearted chuckle. “I’ve made pancakes, do you want some?”
You nod without hesitation. The smell had your mouth watering, and the thought of its taste was like music to your ears. He slides a plate in front of you and pulls the syrup from the fridge. You both dig in, savoring the fluffy taste of pancakes.
“You know, I’ve got to ask,” Seokjin starts,” what about the rings? We’re supposed to wear some, right?”
If you weren’t awake earlier, that question really woke your stupor. “oh.” was all that came out of you for a painfully long time. “...So you’re really okay with this?”
“It might be the weirdest job I’ve taken on, but yeah. I’m ready to fuck around if you are--- but not literally, I promise. I know how to keep my dick in my pants.” He laughs.
You’re relieved that he’s actually okay with this. The past few days, you were waiting for your proposition to sink in and see him leave whilst waving around a middle finger in the air. A breath you’ve been holding in finally came out. “Okay, I’ll go get the rings. I’ll be back in a sec.”
When you return, he’s still sitting there at the counter, patiently waiting for you. A part of you wished your past lovers were like this in real life: someone who’s this patient and kind can only be bought, you suppose. You open up the velvet box, revealing the two rings that were a part of your elaborate plan.
“May I?” Seokjin breathes out. You nod and watch him carefully pick up the ring meant for you. He stifles a laugh and clears his throat. “Miss Y/n L/n, will you marry me for like, a month?”
“Yeah,” you smile. He slips the ring onto your finger, feeling the cool metal against your skin. It’s shiny and beautiful; it’s the perfect wedding ring. Of course, you did pick it out yourself and vividly recalling sweating bullets when asked any questions regarding your marriage.
You pick up his ring and giggle a little to yourself; by Monday, you’d have to play the biggest game of pretend in your life. “Mr. Kim Seokjin, will you marry me for a month?” He gasps and fakes a shedded tear.
“I thought you’d never ask.”
------
You go on multiple dates and try to fabricate your story before Monday arrives. He’s much funnier than you anticipated him being, and he’s really good company to be around. “I almost choked Jimin out for not cleaning my fucking dildos. Like, who does that to a guy who lets you borrow them in the first place?”
Your stomach hurts so bad from how much you’re laughing. Shrek 2 is playing, but it’s long forgotten as it turns into background noise. Jin relays his very bad experiences on the job, and his stories are so outlandish that you sometimes question the validity of it. “Are you kidding me? Remind me to never let him borrow my socks. I don’t trust him after everything you’ve told me.”
Jin his desperately holding back his laughter, but the dam breaks soon enough. Monday morning arrives, and exactly at 10 in the morning, the doorbell rings. You make eye contact with Jin,”It’s show time.” You whisper.
You open the door and greet your father. “Y/n! I’ve missed you so much,” he hugs you closer than before, and you can’t help but smile at your dad’s affection.
“Dad, this is my fiancé that I’ve told you about, his name is Kim Seokjin.” You watch as your old man’s face lights up, and he eagerly rushes over to him. Your father takes JIn’s hand in his and shakes it with enthusiasm. “You’ll have plenty of time to say hello.” You giggle.
After you and Jin get your father’s things settled into the guest bedroom, everything starts to sink in a little too well. Earlier you agreed that it’d “be weird if you didn’t sleep in the same bed together” and so, all of Jin’s items moved into your room, sex tools included. “What should we do about dinner? I feel like it might get weird at the table together.” He whisper-yells to you. Fear gripped onto his body,”What if I accidentally talk about Yoongi’s butt plug accident?”
It takes everything in you to not bust out in giggles right there in the guest room. “You’ll be fine, Jin,” You set the last of his things by the bedside table. “Just please, watch your mouth.”
Just as you both suspected, dinner was very awkward. “So, how did you meet my daughter?” Your dad asks as he picks away at his food.
“Oh, uh,” Jin glances over at you. There was no way to really know what you were thinking, but a subtle thumbs up soothed his worries a little. “We met at a mutual friend’s party. Yeah,” he smiles,” It was at Namjoon’s book club celebration when we first met.”
“You should’ve seen it dad. I’d have never thought that book clubs were so wild before,” you absolutely sell it to the big guy. Your elaborate stories and too accurate to be fake details worked.
The rest of dinner went smoothly, in fact, the rest of your dad’s stay was absolutely fucking perfect. Jin was able to use his PG 13 humor (re: dad puns) and fortunately, your dad likes stale jokes. Everything was going great, and you’d even convinced your dad that retirement was a good idea.... that is, until today.
“....but didn’t you say that you met at a book club?”
You looked over at Jin like a deer caught in the headlights. Crap, you just told that you two met online. Jin notices your panicked expression. If this mission fails, Jin will have been royally fucked sideways like a sock puppet. “We first talked online, but we met in person during the book club meeting!!” He stammers out.
The tension built up inside of you faded away, and you make a note to remind yourself to tell Jin how big-brained he is. You don’t really know what’s happened to you and Jin, but all morning there have been slip-up after slip-up after slip-up. (after yet another slip-up.)
Your father isn’t fully convinced though, and you fear that he’s caught on. “...I don’t know if I believe you right now.” uh oh. He squints at the two of you as you both sweat profusely with nervous smiles upon your faces. “Seokjin, why do you want to marry my daughter?”
Jin looks at you, but your dad keeps pressing on. “How can I be sure that you love her, and this isn’t some big ruse to run away with all of our money? I can see that y/n loves you to death, but for some unknown reason,” He stops to cross his arms. “I just feel like there’s something you’re not telling me. I don’t want to have to do a background check on you, so your best bet is to come clean.”
Jin takes a deep breath. “Sir, with all due respect, I think that if we told you how we’d actually met, you wouldn’t take our relationship seriously. I love y/n, I love her absolutely to the moon and back.” Jin grabs your hand firmly in his and gives it a gently squeeze. He looks at you and the soothing words part from his lips. “Even after you fly back home, I plan to spend my life with her, regardless of what you say.”
At this point you’re not sure where he’s going with this. The longer he talks, the more it sounds like the words are directed at you. “The truth is, we aren’t really married.” Jin looks back at your dad, who furrows his brow at the complex lie he was told the past month. “--But if this is what it’s like to be married to y/n, I think it might actually happen.”
“What? Jin I--” You’re unbelievably shocked. He just revealed to your dad that no, sorry pops, your only child isn’t married to a super cool guy. The possibility of actually being married to Jin perplexed you, though. Is this still the actor in him talking, or is he saying the truth?
“Look,” your father sighs,” I don’t know what situation you’ve put yourself in to pretend you’re married, but damn it all to hell if you don’t actually marry this boy.” Your dad breaks out into a grin, signifying that Jin has passed the test. “If you don’t make him my son-in-law, I’ll find a way to do it myself.”
You’re still paralyzed as you watch your dad engulf Seokjin in a hug. Your dad looks happy to have met Seokjin, and vise versa. They get along better than peas in a pod, you realized. When this mission is over though, will you ever see Jin again? Already you’ve begun to miss his laughter. The way he sings in the shower, the way he pushes up his glasses while he’s reading, the way he says I love you; you’re going to miss it. All of it.
Like a final curtain call, the deal is over. You hand Seokjin an envelope containing the cash you owe him for his service. He takes it, and he places it onto his packed suitcase. Your eyes never leave his figure, and you watch as he gets up to be more leveled with you. “Y/n,” He says. “I meant what I said the other day; we may not be married now, but that doesn’t mean I won’t propose in the future.”
“This is your job talking right?” You laugh, but it lacks the usual give of happiness.“Don’t think it’s going to give you a bonus, hot stuff.”
“I’m serious.” He looks at you tenderly,” I actually really like you, you know. Hoseok regularly fucks a big corporate guy, so I have discounts at every Starbucks location if you wanna go out somewhere.” His thumb glides over the ring on your finger, lost in thought for a moment. “Call me a pool noodle and ride me backwards, but I think I’m going to miss you too much to actually leave.”
“...Besides, I think the ring on my finger is stuck so--” he drawls out.
You snort in surprise, giggles bubbling from inside of you. Genuine ones this time. “I was going to miss you too, but I won’t have to if you’re not leaving.”
“I never really planned on it, sweetheart.”
MISTER AND MISTER
We asked comedians Vic and Bob the same questions in separate rooms. Then we compared their answers…
HERE for pictures.
What are the rules in your relationship?  Is there a line that you'd never cross?
Vic: We've never needed to have rules - apart from who makes the tea next.  We never speak to each other on the phone unless it's to say, 'I'm not coming in today,' or 'Will you bring some milk in?’ We have completely functional phone calls because we see each other every day.  We live about 10 miles away from each other. We're very medieval in that we do all our writing with a pen and paper.  Bob tends to hold the pen more and write things down more, but that's entirely down to my idleness.  I have to do the drawings because his drawings are indecipherable.
Bob: If we don't want to work, we don't have to and we never make an issue of it.  We never phone up and say, 'I'm really sorry, I've got to do this or that.' We just say, 'I'm not working today.  See you tomorrow.' We're both quite unassertive, so there's no obvious dominance.  It could be [why neither of them is the straight man].  We compromise - it's unspoken. We talk about most stuff, but not sexual things.  I don't know why that is.  You always imagine that everyone else does. If he's been out with a lass, I'll say 'So how did it go?'  I don't really ask anything like, 'Did she have nice tits?'
Tell us a secret about the other.
Vic: He's got an anal dysfunction.  Let's just say there's some kind of angle involved.  He backfires.
Bob: He collects a percentage of his used condoms in a jar and keeps them.  He does!  Last time I saw it was in his house.  So there you are!
What surprises can we expect in the new BBC TV series of Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased)?
Vic: I think the best bit is a very camp psychedelic episode, set in a big toy shop, with giant puppets and evil mannequins. it's got that late-60s Avengers feel.  I fly through the air a lot.  I was hurled down a corridor by a flaming man [no need to swear- ed].  No, he was on fire. It's always good working with Tom Baker.  When we're together we camp it right up.  He even gives me a kiss - it's quite full on and I wasn't expecting it.  He was telling me something really close up and he finished off by grabbing hold of my face and going mwwwwwww. I was pretty startled.  You don't think, 'Oh, he's a good kisser!' You think, 'What's he doing?'
Bob: There's one bit where we're in a jungle and Derek Jacobi is in a wheelchair with his face peeled off; Dervla Kirwan is on a sex machine (a punishment machine that gives women orgasms continually until they hate it); Emilia Fox is having a fight with a huge lady prison officer; and I'm being beaten up by two huge men.  It's a lovely little tableau.
Hopkirk (Vic) is Randall's (Bob's) spectral minder.  Who would you choose as your spirit guide?
Vic: Don Johnson from Miami Vice because he'd be suave.  Or Michael Knight from Knight Rider.  Or Peter Glaze [of Crackrjack].  He was quite short with little round specs and he'd look good if he appeared behind a bush in spectral form.
Bob: it would probably be quite good to have Jim [Vic's real name is Jim Moir].  He'd do anything you asked.  I'd get him to spy on people and report back.  I think he'd Iove it. I don't suppose he could carry a camcorder, but I'd like to see images from D-grade celebrities’ homes and Jim would be up for doing that.  I'd send him to spy on Anthea and Grant.  Could it be true that no one watched Anthea's show?  I take no pleasure in that.  I just couldn't believe her viewing figure was zero.  You'd think Grant would have tuned in, though.
Who has the better sense of style?
Vic: Bob has his own particular sense of style, which I admire. He’s a very clean man, but he wears dirty clothes.  I admire that because he pulls it off.  He sometimes buys unsightly shoes and I'll say, ‘I think we should burn them.' I've burned a lot of clothing and taken photographs of it.  I took a photograph of a pair of old woman's shoes on fire beneath a standing stone with a pool around the bottom.  I had eight copies printed; I'm going to frame them and offer them out at Christmas.
Bob: I have no sense of style and I get a lot of abuse for it.  But I'm beginning to think that I'm the more stylish man because I have no style.  I don't buy anything.  This is all bought for me by my girlfriend [points to his chunky sweater and scuffed jeans].  I hate male perfumes, male jewellers.  I hate walking into a room and the first thing people see is your suit.
Vic/Jim has said: 'People can't seem to understand that Vic is just a character I play.' Are they two different people?
Vic: It just goes back to the fact that not many people can pronounce Moir [rhymes with lawyer]. I changed my name because I was only going to do one night - and I thought it was right for that night.  'Vic' is when I'm on TV.
Bob: I think Vic and Jim are one and the same.
Who would you least like to be chained to a radiator with?
Vic: Terry Waite. Or Donald Duck.  I don't like the way he looks, I don't like the way he speaks.  His attitude is all wrong.  And his nephews!  If they were chained as well I'd slit my throat.  Eat them?  I'm not sure anyone's ever eaten a cartoon yet.
Bob: Bubble from Big Brother.  I'd probably irritate him - it wouldn't be a good mix.  I think Vic would pick Bigfoot out of Bigfoot And 7he Hendersons - that big hairy thing.
You wake up one day to discover you are women.  What kind of women would you be?
Vic: Probably much the same as the men that we are.  Vaguely interesting.  I don't think we'd be smart.  Eclectic.  I'd be wearing Victorian clothing, a high-necked, long, black dress, looking like a widow.  Or Miss Havisham in Great Expectations.  Dusty and dowdy.
Bob: I'd be the same as I am.  I’d be a mummy. I’d be like Nigella Lawson, but anonymous. Jim, he would be like Ulrika.
Complete the following: I’d die if I ever had to… again.
Vic: …live.
Bob: I couldn’t face doing the conveyancing on a house again. I used to do that in another life.
How do you make your kids laugh?
Vic: Stupid walks, fart jokes – they always win. I can’t fart to order, but I can belch to order. Words always make kids laugh. You’ve got to get on their level and sing things like, ‘There’s a woman on a bike, wike, thike, nike, fike, like.’ They love it.
Bob: Repeating a non-word such as ‘uballah’ over and over, very loudly – that seems to get them going. Or walking like a monkey.
What would you never, ever lend the other?
Vic: My car [a Jaguar], as he’s always crashing cars. The interior of his car [a Lexus] is like a council tip. When we were filming, we had a boot sale and put everything from his car on a trestle table. There was cat litter, one shoe, a bra, plants, food, jam – everything you could possibly imagine - stashed away.  He doesn't have his cars long.  I'd say it takes him about an hour and a half to fill one and perhaps two hours to wreck it.
Bob:  My dog and my cats.  He'd be useless.  He'd probably feed them the wrong stuff.
How do you know when he's down and how do you help him snap out of it?
Vic: I ring up Middlesbrough Football Club and tell them to pull their finger out.  He doesn't know I do this.  He gets into a terrible depression if they aren't doing very well, but that's the only time he does get depressed.  He always cheers me up with his cheeky grin.
Bob: I don't bother, he's always down, so there's no worries.
Who has the better body?
Vic: My body is turning into what it was like as a young boy - there's nothing there really.  Bob's is very manly - a big hairy chest, broad and brawny.  I'm in pretty good shape.  I do a lot of walking.  But Bob's in better shape than he's ever been.  He has this secretive world where he does a lot of digging.  He moves gravel around and stuff like that.
Bob: We fluctuate.  You'll see photo of him sixth months before and he'll be as trim as a tuppence.  But at this moment in time, I might be able to top him.  One thing Jim does is put weight on his face.  If he's had a Christmas where he's scoffed and drank for a week, it all goes on his face.
If you could send the other on a course, what would it be?
Vic: Fly-fishing.  I think he's got a secret wish to be a fisherman. We've been fishing about twice in 10 years.  I think it's something he'd be into.  I think he'd also benefit from learning how to draw. I would imagine his children can draw better than him.
Bob:   An assertiveness training weekend.  He came into work yesterday and said, 'The builders are after me for money.' I said, 'Have they done owt?' He says, 'Not that I can see.' So I said, 'It's very difficult, Jim, but when they phone up, if they haven't done the kitchen, the dining room and the bedroom, at least say, "Could you have the kitchen finished by five?" before you give them the cash.' He says  'Yeah, I'll try and get something out of them.' So he phones the builder and says, 'So you want some money? I'll put the cheque in the kitchen drawer.' He couldn't do it!
You’re in a room full of smart, beautiful women.  Who do they gravitate towards?
Vic: Neither of us, I'm convinced. They'd probably turn their backs us. Maybe they'd gather around Bob first because they'd want to mother him and I think that's the first urge of a group of beautiful women in a room.
Bob.  Jim.  He's sassy.  He's a single man and there's an air about him. You wouldn't notice me walking into a room.
Could you order for each other in restaurant?
Vic: Definitely.  He'd have what you consider old person's food  - tongue, potatoes and cabbage, and a steamed pudding with custard, with tea or a lager.  If he chose for me, he'd go for something more obscure. If there was something odd on the menu, I'd try it.
Bob: Jim always has the most bizarre thing on the menu.  He likes to try things.  He'd order me potatoes.
If you were invisible for a day, where would you hang out?
Vic: Can I breathe underwater or be ethereal?  I'd float over the capital and blow down chimneys and through windows at quite high speed.  I wouldn't be that interested in spying on anyone.  I might like to creep into a tiger's cage or maybe get inside an apple.  I wouldn't find anything interesting in being a peeping Tom.  I'd rather spy on a cat than a person.
Bob: I'm tempted to say at Grant and Anthea's again, but the truth, of course, is that I'd hang around wherever in 24 hours you'd see the most nude women.
How far would you go for friendship?  Would you: a) lend him your underpants; b) give him your kidney; c) help him on the toilet?
Vic:  a) I wouldn't want to wear his underpants.  Have you seen the state of them? b) I'd give him my kidney, depending on how many I had spare on my plate.  He'd enjoy it. c) I would help him on the toilet, yes, if I had to.
Bob:   a) Yes, I'm sure I would. b) Can you survive with only one?  I'd think about it. c) Yes, definitely.
What is the other's most irritating habit?
Vic:  He would probably say blowing his nose on his clothing.  But he quite often leaves some marmalade or something on the front seat of his car, so, when you get in, you really need to put a towel down first.
Bob: Not buying drinks.
What's the most endearing thing he's ever done?
Vic: Just being him really.  He always makes me laugh.  We're not present givers.  We ignore Christmases and birthdays.
Bob: There's lots. He bought me a very rare record, which surprised me. It was an original copy of Free Live! He always looks after me. With the odd lives we have, we do have to look out for each other. It's one of the stabilising things about being in a double act. You can't start being poncey because you've got the other person with you. You can help each other out.
What scares you?
Vic: I've got a terrible fear of heights.  Before I pass out, the sky comes in and I start ducking.
Bob: The thought of my children getting hurt.  You see something on the telly and think, 'God, if that were them, I couldn't bear it.'
Do you go on holiday together?
Vic: We do.  We've been off on our own a few times - we've been on motorcycling holidays, we've been camping.  We're probably quite insular.  We act like children.
Bob: On holiday, he's a bit too busy for me.  He can't sit down.  We're in a cafe and I just like watching people.  He'll be saying, 'Have you finished your fag?  Come on!'
If the partnership ended tomorrow, what would you both be good at?
Vic: I'd probably just paint pictures.  I think he'd like being a gardener or maybe do up houses.
Bob: I'd like to be a gardener, if I was financially able to just garden.  I can't act, so I wouldn't go down that line.  Jim does it already, but I suppose he'd like to paint.
What sort of old people will you be?
Vic: I will sit in an old people's home, staring out of the window, listening to a distant Alsatian.  I've often imagined myself sitting on a park bench with a dusty novel.  And a bottle of milk. If they stop putting milk in bottles, I'll be cantankerous and lead the march to Trafalgar Square to reinstate bottles of milk. I'd imagine Bob would be very much the same, but he'd be sitting on a dusty chair with a bottle of milk watching the TV - anything that's on.  He's a channel hopper.
Bob: Quite traditional, really: nice tweed suits, brogues, lonely. Together would be nice. We would probably be... [sighs at the inevitability] in a pub.
Former solicitor Bob Mortimer (42) was born only a few months and a few miles apart from Vic Reeves in Middlesbrough .  They didn't meet until 1986 when Vic was performing at the Goldsmith's Tavern in London.  Vic thought Bob was 'quite quiet' but it transpired he was eating a macaroon and didn't want to talk with his mouth full. Bob lives with his girlfriend Lisa Matthews and their children Harry (4) and Tom (3) in Kent .
Vic Reeves (42, James Roderick Moir to the Inland Revenue] lives in Kent with his wife Sarah (though they are separated) and their children, Alice (8), and Louis (4). It’s just down the road from Bob, at whose house they write every day. The two have had many series on TV including Shooting Stars, Families At War and Bang Bang It’s Reeves & Mortimer. Vic has also published a book of his paintings, sunboiledonions (Michael Joseph, £12.99).
Tumblr media
Two months later.
“Y/N,” Roger’s voice and a gentle nudge on your bare shoulder awoke you from your slumber. “Y/N.”
You shifted slightly in bed, subconsciously tugging at the silk sheets that adorned Roger’s bed to cover your naked chest, rolling on your side and feeling a dull ache between your legs. A soft grunt left your throat as confirmation that you’d heard him, and you heard him leave your side.
Opening your eyes ever so slightly, the black spiderwebs of your eyelashes filtered the London sunlight that poured through the open windows in Roger’s bedroom: a rare occurrence in the Autumn months. You caught a glimpse of Roger jumping up and down, trying to pull the skinny jeans that you threw to the floor last night over his legs. Stifling a chuckle, you raised an eyebrow at him.
“What’s so funny?” He grunted, a final bounce allowing the denim to slip up to his hips, his fingers nimbly fiddling with the zip of his fly.
“You look like an idiot.” Your voice was hoarse, presumably from yesterday, your memory of which was still somewhat hazy.
“Mhm, you weren’t saying that last night.” He leant over the queen size bed to kiss your temple, his voice climbing an octave or two as he launched into a rather unfortunate and somewhat unforgiving impression of yourself, “Oh, Roger, baby, fuck you feel so good! Your cock is so big-”
“Oh, that’s rich coming from you, and I never said your cock was bi-”
“Don’t start!” His breath tickled the wisps of your hair that framed your face as he laughed.
“Where are you going, anyway?”
“Thanks to your insistence that I fuck you twice last night, I bloody well slept in, didn’t I? M’late for the studio again, Fred’s gonna have a field day.” Roger’s voice was muffled as he tugged a t-shirt over his head, before peering in the mirror and ruffling his hair as an attempt to look somewhat presentable.
“Can you lock up for me after you leave?” He looked at you expectantly, a keyring dangling from his fingertip. And you hesitated. The simple request made your pulse flutter; that was something men asked of their partners, as they were leaving for work, as casual and unconcerned as asking them to pick up milk or eggs if they got a chance during the day. Whatever this thing you had going on with Roger was, it wasn’t supposed to be like that.
Yet, the two of you found yourselves becoming increasingly comfortable with each other, insults fading to gentle teasing, along with moments where you’d feel his gaze on you when you weren’t looking. Freddie had picked up on the change, giving you a knowing smile when Roger brought you a cup of tea without you having to ask, or when you’d rewrite his lyrics in your spare time to save his bandmates the struggle of deciphering his unintelligible handwriting. Thankfully, Freddie carefully chose not to mention it, but it worried you that after two months of this whole ‘enemies with benefits’ thing, Brian had begun shooting you strange glances.
Brian was, perhaps, your closest friend. You’d desperately wanted to tell him what happened between yourself and Roger since you’d fucked in Freddie’s bathroom at that damn party, but you couldn’t. Roger was like his brother. It felt like you’d betrayed his trust somehow, hiding the dirty secret that was Roger Taylor.
The subconscious nodding of your head was enough to rescue your brain from the spiral it has descended into. “Sure. I’ll come by the studio later and drop the keys off.”
“Thanks, love, but make sure Brian and everyone doesn’t see, alright? Don’t want them asking questions.” He grinned at you, tossing the keys onto the foot of the bed, and you forced a quick laugh in response.
What if you wanted them all to know?
Later that day, you were sat in your parked car outside the recording studio, a take away cup of coffee cradled between your hands. You blew the steam rising from the cup, watching it curl before evaporating into the air; and then returning your blank stare to the dashboard. Your denial of having feelings for Roger had left you miserable, and the thought of having to come to terms with it all was frightening, to say the least. With a sigh, you patted down the pockets on your trousers to make sure his bloody keys were there, before unlocking the car door to make your way to the studio.
You pushed the door to the control room open carefully, so as not to make any noise in case they were recording. Roger’s keys were concealed in your first, and you intended to slip them into his palm or on a nearby table when everyone’s attention was required elsewhere. That was the intention, before you saw Roger’s arm around a lovely brunette, who was giggling into his chest. Roger himself snickered around the cigarette balanced between his lips, devouring the girl with his eyes and making no attempt to hide it.
You only realised you’d forgotten to breathe when you suddenly felt inexplicably dizzy, his keys slipping from your sweaty palm and clattering to the ground, catching his attention.
“Y/N!” His grin faded and he rose from the couch, stubbing out his cigarette in the process,  “Are you alright? You’re as pale as a ghost.”
This caught Brian’s attention, who was alerted to your presence as Roger expressed his concern.
“S’just vertigo,” you shook your head once to steady yourself, then leant down to swoop up the metal in one hand. “Here’s your keys.” Your breath caught in your throat as Brian shot you a confused glance. “Um, you should really stop leaving them lying around, Miami told me you left them in his office… yeah. Anyway. I think I left the iron on, so I better get going.”
“You just got here, stay for tea, at least.” Deaky chimed in, his eyebrows furrowed with worry.
“Really, Deaky, I should go. You guys look busy, anyway.”
“Hasn’t stopped you before.” The quip came from Roger, and his words stung you a lot more than you’d have liked to admit. The smile on his lips died quickly as he saw the hurt expression on your face, and you pulled the door open, leaving the studio without another word.
Brian’s voice filtering from inside the room was the last thing you heard before your sobs overtook your senses.
“What the fuck is going on between you two?”
-
What you and he had, it wasn’t monogamous or exclusive. You’d both agreed on the fact early on, giving explicit permission to each other to see other people. He shouldn’t, couldn’t, wouldn’t, mean anything to you. Above all, you hated that you’d forgotten how to hate him. You bit your lip against a fresh wave of tears and wiped your nose with on sleeve, chin resting on your knee (you’d been perched on the couch all evening, feeling sorry for yourself).
Three quick raps at the door was enough to pull you out of your self-lamenting melancholy trance. You immediately knew it was Roger, and as much as you wanted to ignore him, you couldn’t. You spent a precious moment deliberating this, when a further three knocks prompted you to open the door against your better judgement.
“What happened back there?” He demanded as soon as the door swung open, a hand perched on his hip. “Could you have made it more obvious? Not to mention you looked like you were about to pass clean out, are you okay? Jesus Christ.”
“I’m fine, Roger. Sorry about the keys. Just… Now’s not a good time, alright?” You looked at the floor to hide your face, cheeks most likely streaked with the day’s coat of mascara. Attempting to swing the door shut, Roger’s foot halted it’s motion; and you had no choice but to let him finish.
“Hey… hey.” His voice was soft, earnest, sincere, as he ducked his head to try and get you to look him in the eye. “Have I done something wrong?”
“I just feel so fucking stupid, Roger. I don’t know what I expected, I… I just want some time alone. I think this thing, whatever we had going on, was a mistake.”
“Was it that girl?”
You paused, debating on whether or not to tell the truth. “I never presumed you to only be with me, that’s unfair.” Breathe in, and out.
“I’ve just realised that I like you a lot more than I’d care to admit.” It came out as a whisper, and you were unsure if he’d heard you from the silence that followed your statement; until his fingertips brushed underneath your chin gently to raise your head to meet his eyes. You were surprised to see he was smiling, shaking his head in disbelief.
“You’re an idiot,” it came out in a breathless laugh, “you’re an idiot, Y/N. That girl, all the others, I don’t want them. They’re groupies, they’re so easy and they’re nothing compared to you. S’my vice, and it’s fucked up. I get with other women when I don’t want to think about you.”
“Rog,” you blinked, reaching up to grasp his wrist. “If you’re fucking me around-”
“No. No. Not you. S’why I didn’t want this to be serious. If I ever hurt you,” he swallowed roughly, his Adam’s apple bobbing in his throat, “I’d have to let you go.”
You inhaled sharply as your eyes searched his despairingly.
“I’ve fucked up every relationship I’ve ever been in, you know that. I’ve cheated on girls, Y/N.” His voice shook and he looked at the ground, his hand residing in his back pocket. He frowned and shook his head, “I can’t be with you.”
“I want you.”
“Don’t, just don’t-”
“I’m in love with you.” In truth, you didn’t realise you were in love with Roger until those words left your mouth in a last ditch attempt to make him stay. The confession cut him off abruptly, and his face crumpled. “I’m in love with you.” You repeated it again, trying to make the words sound right in your voice, because you hadn’t prepared for this.
His trembling hand reached up to gently cradle your face, his fingertips tracing soft lines over your skin. “Silly, silly girl.” A shaky smile tugged at his lips as he leant down to let his lips barely connect with yours, ever so delicately, the touch of a fairy.
“I was fucked ever since that bloody night in the bathroom,” His lips were still touching yours as he whispered, “And because I’m a selfish piece of shit, I love you too.”
“You should probably come in,” was the only thing you found yourself capable of saying, blinking against the sudden pricking of tears that threatened to escape.
He laughed softly, slowly standing up to his full height as tugged his jacket closer to his body against a sudden rush of wind.
“Thanks, m’freezing my balls off out here.”
You opened the door wider to allow him to pass through beside you, before shutting it with a soft click. Seeing him standing sheepishly in the hallway of your modest home was always enough to make you laugh, even tonight. With his leather jacket and aviators dangling from his neck of his shirt, he looked the part of a proper rockstar, and here he was. Surrounded by photos of you cradled in your mother’s arms as a baby, and baskets of laundry that you’d been meaning to sort out for a week.
You approached him shyly, arms crossing over the dressing gown that adorned your body.
“Scared of me?” He frowned, reaching a hand out to you to pull you into his body.
“Not you. Never you.” Your arms wrapped around his sturdy, comforting torso, cheek against his chest. He returned the gesture, as he buried his nose in your hair, arms circling your waist.
“Of getting hurt, then?” He rocked you slowly from side to side, his voice cracking barely above a whisper.
“Yeah.”
His fingers traced your jaw to prompt you to look up at him. He was even prettier from up close, you thought. Your nose almost touching his, you could see the tiny sun spots that were scattered on his cheeks, the stray eyebrow hairs that you constantly itched to pluck. Paired with his unparalleled mind that you’d had the privilege to see in action more times than you could count, he was a breathtaking man.
“It’s going to be alright, ‘ve got you. Mine.”
“Is this a bad idea?” You turned your head to whisper into his neck, and his hand squeezed your arm gently.
“Yes, s’what I’ve been trying to tell you. We’re too alike, you and I. Haven’t you noticed?” He pulled back. “Stubborn. Proud. Determined. Quick tempered, pretentious... I could go on, love.”
You suppressed a smile as he paused, deep in thought.
“But we’ll never know if we don’t give this a go. I love you. I love you, alright?” His hands rested on your arms firmly as he spoke into your eyes,
“Who would’ve thought,” your voice became softer as he drew closer to you, “Us. Together.”
“Fred’s gonna lose his shit.” And he kissed you properly for the first time since he’d told you he loved you, different from the frantic kisses after a studio session with the constant fear that someone was going to walk in, different from the sloppy kisses with alcohol on your breath on Roger’s leather couch. This was almost painfully slow, his tongue gliding beside yours, his arms fully enveloping your body to pull you into him.
“Bedroom?” You murmured, as his fingers swiftly began undoing the first button of your blouse.
“Mhm, you read my mind.”
-
You weren’t prepared for this side of Roger. During sex, he could be almost politely emotionally detached, always determined to show his dominant side with a hand around your throat or letting a string of his saliva drip into your mouth. You weren’t expecting the gentle kisses that laced your collarbones, nor how his fingertips fluttered over the sides of your hips.
“This is different,” you murmured, eyes closed as his tongue glided over a particularly nice spot on your neck.
“Never made love to you properly, s’always so rushed,” he sighed. “Let me take my time with you, believe I owe you one anyway.”
“If anything, I owe you, been so awful…” you trailed off while Roger’s lips continued to travel the length of your body
“Oh, don’t start getting soft on me, lovie.” He laughed, his breath tickling your stomach as he trailed gentle kisses down toward your thighs. “Just ‘cos we’re together now, don’t change, alright?”
Together. If you’d heard those words out of his mouth two months ago, or even heard him merely suggest the notion, you’d have decked him right in the face. Funny how things change.
Your hand easily found its way to tug at his hair as he nicked the soft flesh of the inside of your thigh. “Stop teasing!”
“Sorry, angel… ready for me, yeah?”
You nodded, almost timidly, feeling a strange wave of shyness overcome you as Roger glanced up at you with an eager, desirous look in his eyes. He’d been between your legs many times before, but you were never in love with him. Making love and fucking were two very different experiences, as Roger would agree. Not to mention, you’d never been with a man so utterly skilled and eager to please you
“Nervous? Never thought I’d see the day where you’d finally become starstruck.”
“Shush. Just…” You took a moment to admire how truly lovely he was, his lips a tantalizing shade of pink, his chin gleaming with your wetness as a soft smile played at his doe-like eyes. “I love you.”
His smile transformed into an almost childlike grin, which he, almost bashfully, attempted to hide by pressing a kiss to the top of your pubic bone.
“Love you.”
A soft squeal escaped your throat as Roger took you by surprise, eagerly pressing a slow French kiss to your core. His eyes were shut as he licked a few slow, careful strips over your entrance, his button nose nudging your clit just right. An explicit moan elicited from your lips, prompting him to delve further into your wetness.
His tongue entered you and flicked tongue swiftly against your walls, as he slid a single finger in with it. The pleasure this elicited was sensational, and you let him know, whining obscenities intertwined with his name.
You were squirming underneath his skillful tongue, your thighs convulsing as you gripped his hair desperately, and when he added a second finger, you knew you were done for.
“I’m so close, oh my God-”
He hummed softly against you, his free arm hooking around one thigh so he could press his mouth as close as possible to your clit, nicking the bundle of nerves ever so slightly with his teeth before easing the sharp pain (that was just the right amount) with his tongue.
Choked moans left your lips as your back arched, his skilled mouth leaving you unable to even speak.
“Say my name. Say m’name, lovie, wanna hear you…”
“Roger...Roger, R-Rog-”
His name left your lips in a tumble, like a prayer, your chest heaving as you pressed your pelvis toward his impeccable mouth. Your orgasm washed throughout your blood like a wave, to the point where tiny silver stars interrupted your vision. Clenching your thighs around his head to keep him in place, you shook violent against his very touch.
His tongue didn’t stop, not even as you finished, and you cursed, tears from the overstimulation stinging your eyes, as you tugged at his hair to pull him away.
“Too sensitive, too much, Rog!” You whined, and he finally pulled away with a satisfying pop, his chin glistening with your wetness. His brows turned inward, looking concerned as he saw a tear track its way down your cheek.
“Didn’t hurt you, did I? Oh, love.”
You shook your head, shakily propping yourself up on a couple of pillows so you were able to grip the back of his head and kiss him, tasting yourself on his lips. A soft whimper left his throat as he rose from his knees to meet the kiss
A sort of empty feeling had arose in your pelvis, along with which came an insatiable thirst to have him inside you. It almost made you upset, something which only added to your post orgasmic hazy tears. You just needed him.
“Felt so good,” you sniffed, “So good.”
“Why’re you crying, then?” He asked, delicately stroking your cheek with the back of his fingers.
Shaking your head again, you fumbled for the bulge in his trousers, evidently straining against the restriction of the fabric.
“Jus’ want you,” you murmured, “Let me.”
“Nope.” He caught your wrist, smiling against your skin. “Tonight’s ‘bout you, angel, remember?”
“Rog,” you whimpered, “Want you-”
“You’ve got me, love-”
“No, no. Want you. All of you.”
You looked upward, desperately searching his baby blue eyes as you intertwined your fingers with his. He looked taken aback, something that was utterly unusual for Roger.
“You mean without-?”
“Yes.” You sighed, squeezing his hand. You’d never done it, had sex, that is, without protection. Roger was, of course, privy to the fact that you’d had limited sexual encounters before him, and they hadn’t exactly been fantastic. But a sudden urge had overwhelmed you to feel him, and all of him, now.
“What if-”
“It’ll be okay.”
“If you’re positive, love.” His eyes softened as he kissed your hand, his mouth lingering as he awaited your response.
“Never been so sure in my life. I love you, Roger.”
“I love you, I love you, I love you.” His lips found yours once more, the kiss becoming messy and passionate as he pushed you onto your back. You giggled at the sudden movement, legs circling his waist as you found yourself underneath him once again.
You reached down to his belt, and this time, he didn’t stop you. You unbuckled the leather in a practiced motion and easily slid it through the loops of his jeans, throwing it with a clang to the floor beneath the bed.
“Careful, s’was expensive.” He grinned, his fingers already tugging at his fly.
“S’pose you haven’t got any money from all those best selling albums, then? Twat.”
“Watch your mouth, darlin’, don’t make me tease you…”
“You wouldn’t.”
He paused, making a show of considering your statement.
“You’re right, I wouldn’t. Not when I want you this badly.” His words dissolved into a playful snarl as he placed a wet kiss on your neck, simultaneously shrugging off the denim that hugged his thighs.
The aching, empty feeling in your pelvis returned, and you whined.
“Need you. Need you, now…”
He silenced you with a quick peck as he removed his boxers, his cock slapping his tummy, the head a pale shade of scarlet with droplets of precum leaking from the tip. It looked almost painful, and yet he took particular care to maintain a calm manner
“Shh, shh. I’ve got you, yeah? Got all the time in the world. Wanna make this special for you.”
“It’s already perfect.”
His cock nudged your entrance unintentionally as he re-positioned himself closer to you, and you hissed, a noise which he silenced with a soft kiss.
“M’not gonna last long.” You whispered, your forehead pressing against his.
“Oh, neither am I, can tell you that right now. Not when I’ve got the most lovely girl,” he brushed away strands of hair clinging to your temples, “in all of London, perhaps even the world,” he grinned, “underneath me.”
You laughed breathlessly, shaking your head at his words.
“Be quiet, silly boy.”
“Apologies, m’lady.” He smile softened as he gazed at you lovingly. “This is going to feel different, alright? Better… a lot better, actually, but jus’ prepare yourself, alright? Don’t want t’give you a shock.”
Roger gripped the base of his cock and gently pushed past your folds, and you immediately shuddered, your eyes rolling back in your head. Having his skin against yours so much more intimate than you could have ever imagined, especially being able to feel every imperfection and bump. Condoms could sometimes leave you rubbed raw, especially at the speed Roger tended to achieve, but everything was already so much smoother and utterly perfect. The both of you fit together like a jigsaw puzzle, he wasn’t too big, you weren’t too tight. Perfect.
“Alright?” He murmured, sighing into your neck. “You’re so warm, fuck, feels s’good…”
“Can feel everything,” you breathed, nails digging into Roger’s back as he continued to slide further into your warmth.
“Me too, angel, Christ-” His eyes fluttered shut for a brief moment, and you yourself gazed at him lazily through your lashes, drunk on lust and love and all the feelings that you had for the man.
“I’m so in love with you.” He whimpered, supporting his weight on one arm as his free hand cradled your cheek. “M’ so in love. Don’t deserve you.”
“Stop saying that, Roger.” You whispered, both of you inhaling sharply as your walls briefly spasmed around his cock. “We deserve each other. You’ve got me forever if you want me.”
He smiled, pulling out halfway before slowly bringing his hips back to meet yours. “I’ll always want you.”
You tilted your chin up to kiss him as he thrusted into you once more, as your fingers, seemingly having a mind of their own, found your throbbing clit, desperate for more friction.
“Nope,” Roger gasped, brushing your hand away to replace it with his own, something you were grateful for; his touch was forever superior to your own. He nimbly rubbed against the bundle of nerves, applying just the right amount of pressure that you whining and bucking your hips to meet his touch.
“Roger, oh my-”
His speed increased in a perfectly timed crescendo; his incredible in-built sense of rhythm always left you astonished, both in the bedroom, and in the studio.
“Fuck, baby, feels so… s’good, s’good…” you gripped his shoulders desperately as he rocked against you, biting into his shoulder in an attempt to quieten your moans.
Roger transferred his weight onto his elbows, so his forehead was against yours, the new angle allowing the head of his cock to nudge a soft spot inside you that caused you to cry out.
“Tha’s the spot, yeah?”
You nodded frantically in response, not trusting your voice. Craning your neck, you watched him sliding in and out of you, the slick, heavenly, wet sounds of skin on skin only pushing you closer to the edge. The sensation of him, bare inside you, was almost, almost, simply too much to bear. Even Roger, a man who you’d once called a whore, was seemingly overwhelmed, his face contorted with pleasure as his grinded his hips against yours.
“M’gonna… cum…” he grunted, his lips parting as he moaned your name desperately, burying his head in your neck. “Where’d you wan’ it?” His words became slurred, his thrusts becoming sloppier as he began to lose himself to the wave of euphoria he was about to experience.
“Stomach,” You gasped in response.
Roger quickly, yet gently, pulled out of you, your sheer amount of wetness making it an easy task. He fisted his cock furiously, pumping his length, as he threw his head back, and it was his turn to chant your name.
“Y/N, fuck me, love, m’coming… oh!” Expeditious white, hot ribbons of cum shot onto your pelvis as he growled, strands of his tousled blonde hair clinging to his forehead. “Fuck, fuck!”
You furiously rubbed tight circles over your clit at the sight of him coming undone, and came again yourself, your orgasm creeping up on you without much warning. But, soon enough, you found your muscles seizing, eyes fluttering, your entire body feeling like it was on fire; in the best way.
Roger collapsed on top of you just as you finished, fighting to catch his breath.
“Gonna get cum on you,” you breathed, referring to the mess he’d made on your belly.
“Don’t care,” he panted, pressing light, butterfly kisses over the span of your chest and collarbones. “Beautiful, beautiful lady, n’all mine, too.”
“All yours.” You smiled, kissing his cheek and taking his hand in yours.
“I’ve waited so long to hear you say that. Almost didn’t think it was gonna happen.”
