After a long slumber, I have returned with art and a message:

The Minecraft movie is stupid af.

I joined a new Minecraft server and decided to try something new! I decided to build a base in a biome I don’t normally build in! So I decided to do it in a Burch Forest biome!!!! I needed to build a barn and this is what I came up with!!!!

Forgot all about the bird left behind. And now it's gone.

"...What's this about?"

"I-...I've been cruel to you." "I haven't exactly been the best big sister lately, have I? I shouldn't have yelled at you. You didn't deserve that."

"Oh...Sarah..."

"I don't expect you to forgive me right away, but I hope-"

"Why are you scared?"

"...Wh- what? Scared?"

"I know that's why you lash out like that. And why you never sleep. And why you drink so much."

"Nyzak! I don't-"

"But what I don't understand is why you never talk about it. If it's so scary, wouldn't it be better to get it off your chest?"

"It's not like he can do anything about it anymore, he's dead remember?"

"I know that! I of all people would know that better than anyone!" "So- so why are you so scared?! He can't hurt us anymore!" "How can you be sure?! How can you be so sure of that?!?! The dead walk among us, every night they rise and come to kill! Humans have even found a way to resurrect the damned ender dragon! Who's to say..." "Who's to say he can't come back?"

"...That's what you're afraid of? Dad coming back? No, no no it's...it's more than that isn't it?"

Sarah hangs her head. Her voice goes quiet. "...Every night I see his face. Leering at me, telling me it's only a matter of time. He'll come for me first. And then you. And then everyone."

"Sarah..." Nyzak comes over to Sarah's side of the table, leaning on the table and her shoulder.

"And four times as smart to boot! Besides...you won't be alone this time. You got me, and the whole stinkin' guard to back us up!"

"So...So stop trying to handle everything else alone. I'm right here. I...I love you, sis."

Sarah goes quiet, wincing ever so slightly as tears start to form in her eye and roll down her cheek. Nyzak sighs, relieved if anything, to finally see her walls coming down. They pull her into a hug just as she breaks down completely...

"I'm so sorry...I promise you, I'm going to do better."

Basic Intro:

Hi, you can call me The Historian, Dan or Crypt. I made this blog to talk about me and my friends minecraft characters and the world we've been building since 2021, Para Sanar. I am an alterhuman, and I consider Minecraft, particularly Para Sanar, to be one of my heart homes. So if you like Gods, found family, and a handful of survivalist characters learning how to live in peace, you've found the right place.

Things To Know About The Blog:

The point of Para Sanar is to show how every character within the story is healing. They usually come to Para Sanar after some traumatic events in their life and treat the land as a kind of refuge full of other people slowly recovering. There is no one clear path to overcoming trauma. There will be bad days, drawbacks, and moments where you can't get out of bed. The same goes for these characters. The ways they behave are often reflections of their own fears and learned behaviors. While they should be held accountable for their actions and not be infantilized, I believe it is still important to recognize where these behaviors are coming from.

This blog will deal with mature and heavy themes. The story has a good portion of hurt to go with it's comfort but I promise it all ends well.

I will include any possible trigger warnings at the top of each entry I post.

This blog is partially a role-playing blog in that some of the posts will be written as one of my characters on the server, Dan. They are a sugarglider hybrid who acts as a historian for Para Sanar. Some posts will be out of character, and I'll be sure to tag them as such with #CryptIntermission. Sometimes, this is required as Dan is mortal and isn't alive for some portions of the story.

I ACCIDENTALLY KILLED MY MINECRAFT PARROT 😭 THERE WAS A LOT OF ZOMBIES AND MY PARROT WAS OUTSIDE TOO AND WHEN I TRIED TO GET THE ZOMBIES I ACCIDENTALLY HIT IT WITH MY ENCHANTED DIAMOND SWORD! 😭
