Authors Note: Hi there Angels, welcome back to another Quackity fic! I had some very sudden inspiration to write this fic and hardly any plans for it aside for that it continues off from the last one, so I’m just going for it! Hopefully it isn’t too bad and you guys can enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it! <3

Warnings: slight bit of cussing because its Q and he is brushing off onto reader:p, reader is called “hermosa” again!

Triggers: None as far as I am aware!

Since your birthday stream last month, your streams have been constant and exciting. You figured when the birthday stream ended, everyone would unfollow and disappear, but they didn’t. People actually enjoyed the content you did, and thought the streams were fun to watch. It was the same way with Alex. You assumed he would just unfriend and move on with his life, but instead he was constantly inviting you to calls to stream with him.

You two were now known as the chaotic duo on twitch. You both were constantly causing chaos everywhere. Streams, calls, games, etc. How were you causing chaos? In minecraft, tnt and mobs were constantly being dropped by the both of you. It was just little things that erupted into big messy things.

Speak of the devil. Interrupting yet another one of your streams was Q who had a very specific ringtone that the fans knew. Declining the call to focus on the timed obby your doing, just to get another call from the boy.  

“ Yes chat, that’s Q calling. This is like the fourth time since I started streaming. “

The chat was blowing up making comments about Alex being clingy and shipping the two of you together.

Finally deciding to answer the call when he called one las time.

“ Alex Quackity, if you cause me to lose this record, I will be coming for you next in the minecraft event. “

“ Its so rude to ignore me, ___, I’m your bestfriend! “

Letting out a snort at the slight whine in his words, knowing it was just a teasing thing. You focused back on your task while waiting for the man to speak up about what he called you for. He never did though. Instead he stayed eerily silent which was definitely not like him at all.

Letting out a yelp when he suddenly let out a scream.

“ alex, what the hell! “. Not getting a response but instead a notification that he had begun streaming as well to which you pulled it up on your phone. As soon as you caught sight of him, you busted out into laughter. 

There he sat in his chair with a box in his right hand, staring at the camera with a deadpan, covered in little stuffed cats and bunnies. The look on his face would surely be later turned into a meme by one of his fans.

“ ___, care to explain ? “ , waiting for your giggles to calm down. Looking down at the toys covering his lap, before looking back up to the camera.

“ happy birthday? “ ,was all you could muster before you were laughing again.

“ my birthday isn’t till December! What am I gonna do with all of these! “, regretting the question as soon as he said it, because of what chat began saying next.

“ no chat! I am not using it as a personal body pillow! Don’t bring ___ into this! Shes in big trouble, chat! “.

Your laughing suddenly came to a stop at his words. Glad the chat can’t see you because you know they’d all be freaking out over how red your cheeks were. Letting out a soft cough and focusing back on the obby until you made it to the end. “ we did it chat! “.

“ ___, chat is wondering when you’ll do a face reveal “,

“ I’ll do a face reveal when you do a hair reveal “,  “ so never? “. Letting out a soft laugh and shaking your head. 

“ No, I’ll do one. I want to, just hadn’t really put two thoughts in it to be honest. I have a facecam attached to my computer. “, the dramatic gasp Alex let out had you giggling again. 

“ you’ve been denying us from seeing your face, hermosa? Are you crazy? Let us see you! “, his nickname had you red all over again. 

“ you guys really want to see? “, you knew you really didn’t have to ask that question because you already knew the answer both from chat and Alex, you just wanted to see the reactions. Feeling satisfied when both chats blew up, and Alex began to frantically nod his head.

“ well, okay, here we go. “, feeling nervous as you turned on the Facecam and looked to it, waving shyly at it as a greeting to them. Rubbing your hands gently on your thighs as you looked to the chat to read over reactions. Smiling brightly at all the compliments you were getting. You looked to alex’s stream to see his reaction and held yourself back from blushing when you noticed him just staring at you.

“ Earth to Alex, are you there? “

“ ____, why did you deny all of us this sight? You are absolutely stunning, hermosa!  “, that brought out the blush. Thus forth causing chat to go wild over the interaction between you two. “ thank you, weirdo, now do you want to play a game with me? “.

“ yes! Lets play baddies “.

Somehow you knew that he was going to want to play that, but truthfully you didn’t mind. You would play anything right now if it turned the conversation to something else. You didn’t think you’d be able to live if Alex tried to have a whole conversation with chat over how pretty you were. 

The both of you streamed together for about another hour and played together on facetime for another four hours. More than half of the time spent with him making comments denying him the sight and the other percentage was spent kicking his ass in Baddies. He didn’t seem to mind much and took the time to admire your beauty while you beat his avatar to his demise.

When you both were tired of gaming it was late. You both were exhausted but wanted to talk a while more. You didn’t mind staying on facetime so late, Alex made you feel comfortable. Comfortable enough to listen to his voice talking to you about streaming as you fell asleep. The facetime staying on the whole night with both of you sleeping peacefully.

This was the day you learned your feelings for Alex.

Authors ending note; Soo how was that? This one was definitely more lengthy than the last one and I didn’t really know how to format the talking so I just kind of made it work! Hopefully you guys enjoyed this one because it was really fun to write! Also this gif is going to be at the end of every q fic because its like hes cheering at me for finishing! Makoto

He’s honestly not terrible at minecraft, but he’s definitely not the best either. Watch him find like 6 diamonds in one ore vein or something the first time he goes into a cave. His buildings are kind of unremarkable, and he’ll just do with what he’s got. He’ll share his resources with you if you just ask nicely, though. He’ll give you flowers because he thinks they’re pretty. He likes to decorate his base with them.

Aoi

She loves the warm ocean biome. She would definitely have an underwater base in one. She’s not the best Minecraft player, but she knows what to do. Her buildings aren’t terrible, and she’ll probably have a lot of water features. She thinks the tropical fish are super cute and will definitely make an aquarium. She will only share her diamonds with you and Sakura.

Byakuya

"What’s a minecraft?" Find him 5 minutes into spawning into the game, and he’s already stuck in a 2 block deep hole and he can’t figure out how to get out. He just rage quits. If he tries again, he’ll probably make people build him a house or something and always keeps his diamonds in his inventory so no one can steal them. His skin is just Steve. He doesn’t know how to change it. After he’s done with trying to play, he might end up just watching you play. Get ready for a lot of questions about how you do things.

Celeste

Acts like she hates the game, but secretly thinks it’s pretty neat. She just gets Hifumi to build everything for her while she loots villagers. She definitely has a cat in the game, and her skin is likely some lolita looking character. If asked to share her diamonds, she’s probably gonna just punch people out of her castle instead. (She’ll secretly share with you though, but don’t say a w o r d)

Chihiro

Server manager. He’s banned Junko from doing anything stupid, so she’s stuck in adventure mode while everyone else is in survival mode. He’s a really good player, to no one’s surprise. He’s probably made his own mods that he plays on his own. Also thinks the animals are really cute but is scared of ender men. Please protect him from the endermen or he will cry.

Hifumi

He definitely has a custom texture pack that he made himself where the bed has the texture of a body pillow. Whether it’s a joke or not is up to interpretation. Gives his diamonds to Celeste, but he has a secret underground base that no one knows about where he’s secretly hoarding a whole bunch of rare items. Really good at building. If you ask him nicely, he might help you build some things as well.

Junko

Major troll. She’ll kill you and steal your inventory. Then she’ll grief your house. She often gets herself banned from a lot of servers so she just made her own to be annoying. Is actually really good at the game, but it doesn’t really show. She’d have a Monokuma skin and would likely never have any perms thanks to Chihiro. You also would get trolled. But not as often as the others, because she seems to have a slight soft spot for you.

Mukuro

Kinda just done with Junko’s shit, so she plays Minecraft with the class to have a bit of a break. Junko of course bullies her poor sister to no end, so Chihiro has Junko completely muted. Like her ultimate, she’s really good at combat in Minecraft. She has miraculously never taken damage from a mob. She’ll fall of stuff a lot, but she has never been hit. Will secretly leave diamonds for you and Makoto. (If anyone else finds out, Junko will get word and steal them)

Kiyotaka

Gets stuck in all sorts of 2 block holes and is always getting killed by mobs. Whenever someone swears in chat, he keyboard smashes in chat to hide the swear word. He’s constantly screaming and has decided to pair up with Mondo. He now shares a base with Mondo. He and Mondo are both clueless at the game, so they just follow around Chihiro.

Kyoko

Kinda just vibing and lurking around, making sure Junko isn’t going to terrorize anyone. Surprisingly good at the game and is actually pretty good at parkour. She will /tp to people who are not having a good time and kill whatever is terrorizing them. Sometimes she just likes to watch you play when she’s not being everyone’s guardian.

Leon

Has crazy good aim in the game, so he always snipes mobs with his bow, or maybe Junko if she’s coming up to reign terror on his base. He’s a kind of shitty builder, but he builds really large bases with a whole bunch of farms. Mob farms, mushroom farms, cobblestone farms, if there’s a farm, he’s got it. Will not share his resources if the others beg him, but might let you have some stuff if you give him some diamonds in return.

Mondo

Swears a lot, to no one’s surprise. He and Taka follow around Chihiro who has made them both a little base for them to expand upon. They have their minecraft beds next to each other, as placed by Chihiro as a joke, but they did not move their beds. He’ll often get lost in caves, and digs down a lot. He dies a lot for some reason. Will only share his diamonds with Chihiro, Taka and you.

Sakura

When someone’s screaming that they’re being attacked by a mob, she would come to the rescue. She’s really good at combat like Mukuro, but she protects people from mobs instead. Aoi’s not the best in combat, so she’ll often be protecting Aoi. Will definitely make a house next to Aoi’s and will give people flowers. She’s kind of like an Iron Golem. She also loves decorating with flowers, so you can give her some that you find. She’ll be very happy.

Sayaka

She keeps a fuck ton of animals because she just thinks they’re cute. Has tamed like every pet tameable, and would tame the ender dragon as well if she could. Probably has a mod that lets you do that that she plays on her own. The first time she saw a creeper, she thought they were super cute, so she went up to one, but got blown up. That was such a major offence that she is now ruthless with creepers. Whenever you’re getting chased by a creeper, by some strange instinct, Sayaka just happens to know where you are and strikes down the creeper. They never survive the wrath of an angry Sayaka.

Toko

Takes over villages and tries to build houses for Byakuya, but she just gets ignored every time. Toko always seems to attract creepers that blow her up constantly. Junko will some times lay her own TNT to blow up Toko. She’s kinda clumsy at the game and will definitely scream whenever she hears a cave sound. Also somehow always starts raids. She just seems to have shit luck, so she builds away from every one else. Her diamonds are reserved for Byakuya (who refuses to take them), but she will give you and only you some resources when you ask.

Yasuhiro

Has no idea what he’s doing cuz he’s really only in it for the ender men. Is terrified of Herobrine. He’ll see Byakuya’s Steve walk by in the distance. Hiro will then probably shriek and chase after Herobrine, only to see that the Herobrine is gone. Really, Byakuya just fell down a hole again. He just leaves a whole bunch of dirt shacks around the place and has yet to actually mine any diamonds. He might end up running to wherever the heck you are and screaming about Herobrine (actually just Byakuya) since you also have interest. But alas, the ‘herobrine’ is gone every time you go back to where he was found.

Dabi glares at his 'nest'. Hes only recently started taking the legal suppressants. Has only recently admitted to the leauge hes a omega, has only recently let himself give in to his more omega instincts.

One of which is nesting. Dabi let's out a frustrated growl as he stomps to shigaraki's room. He wants a nest and has been trying for the past few days to make one. It's not working. Hes not getting the warm fuzzies or safe feeling he always hears other omega's talk about. He tries laying on it and nothing changes.

Dabi is still glaring at his nest when shigaraki enters his room.

"Hey kuroguri wants to know what you want fir dinner?" He glances at the nest. "Why are you laying on your coat and a pillow? why are you on the floor?"

"I don't care I'll eat whatever he makes. And its supposed to be my nest." He glares at shigaraki instead of the nest. Daring him to say something about it.

"Tha- Dabi, that is not a nest. Get out of that." He sounds appalled.

"Shut the fuck up. I haven't done this before."

"No one can tell based on that travesty. Why the hell haven't you built a nest before?" Shigarki is doing something on his phone aggressively as dabi stands up and kicks at his coat.

" I was homeless. Hit my first heat about a year after I ran away, near as I can guess anyways. You going to help me figure this out or not?" Dabi refused to look shigaraki in the eye. The other man may have also been a omega but they were vastly different. Shigaraki didn't use suppressants or scent blockers like Dabi use to.

Everyone knew shigaraki was a omega and Dabi had been hiding as best he could since he presented. Would still be hiding if the whole deal with Keigo hadn't happened.

Shigaraki shoved his phone at him. "Take a look through these. Those are pretty basic but if you're thinking you can build a nest out of a coat and a pillow we need to start basic."

Shigaraki grabbed his villian coat in slight disgust and threw it in Dabi's closet.

"Work does not go in the nest. What do all those nests have in common?"

Dabi handed back shigaraki's phone. "They're fluffy? Soft I guess? I dont got that much stuff though."

Shigaraki went into the hallway and motioned dabi after him.

"That's because you borrow other people's shit. Particularly people you spend alot of time with and care about you. In this case, the leauge of villians is going to be your fluffy soft dealer." Shigaraki stopped at togas door and knocked lightly.

"I'm doing my nails just open it." She yelled.

Shigaraki grabbed dabi by the arm and dragged him into togas space after him.

"Dabi needs to steal something for his first nest." Shigaraki was blunt about it and dabi wanted to melt into the floor. It's not like he actually needed one. Its just, he really wanted one for the first time in his life.

Toga brighted and motioned to a pile of stuffed animals as big as she was.

"Grab a couple of those if you want! I'm happy to help you out dabi! Let me know if you want anything else of mine!"

Dabi grabbed the first too he saw and went to leave but shigaraki stopped him.

"Take a minute and pick a couple. She said you could have some and it's not going to be the same if you just grab whatever is around and shove it in a pile." Shigaraki was folding his arms and shaking his head.

Dabi stared hopelessly at the pile. He had no idea what he was looking for. He gently put a hand out and brushed it against the pile. A panther caught his eye and he squished its paw. For no reason at all it made him smile and he traded out the bear he had blindly grabbed for it. He tested a chick next and liked how fuzzy it was. He turned to toga to make sure these were okay to take.

"Good choices! Let me know how the rest goes!" Toga didnt give him a chance to ask and went back to her nails.

Shigaraki nodded and led him to Twices room.

"Come in. Get lost."

Dabi carefully opened the door and stepped in first. "Hey Jin. I'm looking for nest materials?"

Jin almost fell out of a roller chair in over excitement.

"You really want something of mine!? What do you want?"

Shigaraki stepped up behind dabi when he froze. Not knowing exactly what he needed.

"He'll take a blanket and a couple of your pillows."

Again shigaraki waited for dabi to pick out a pillow and a rich blue blanket before leaving.

They stopped to drop everything off and dabi felt the urge to try and arrange it into a circle.

Shigaraki seemed to take a deep breath for patience and Dabi picked at one of togas animals as he apologized.

"Don't. Its obvious you needed to do this a lot sooner than now. Don't mess with it yet we've still got people to grab stuff from and the more you have the better it will be" He turned on his heel and left dabi to catch up after him.

Magne gave him a body pillow and a large tshirt. They both smelled like her spicy alpha scent and it was surprisingly soothing for dabi to breath it in.

Spinner had his door opened and saw them coming.

"Am I included?" Dabi found it odd because he actually sounded a little shocked and hopeful.

"Yeah. Got any fluff for me to steal?" They entered spinners room and looked around at all the merch he had laying around.

"You can have your pick of whatever you need in here dabi" spinner went back to his game and tried not to make it seem like he was watching the 2 omegas in his room.

"Hey spinner this is mine now" shigaraki held up a TNT pillow block.

"I thought you were here for dabi?!" Spinner squeaked and reached for the block.

Dabi held up a chicken block and a fuzzy purple body pillow.

"Can I have these?"

"Yeah you can both have whatever I'm just giving shig shit for stealing my minecraft block."

The next stop was kuroguri and mr. compress's room. They both were shocked that he was doing this for the first time and more than willing to let him borrow whatever he wanted from their room. He ended up taking a comforter from a stack in the closet they showed him too. Dabi made shigarki carry it and they made their way back to his room.

Shigaraki motioned for him to start fixing it up.

"I'll let you know if something will bug you like putting all the blankets on one side but this is your nest and it's up to you how you want to build it."

Dabi started with the comforter on bottom before he froze and realized something.

"I haven't gotten something from everyone yet."

Shigaraki rolled his eyes. "I made sure we got everyone."

"You. Dumbass. You forgot you." Dabi smirked until he realized that the others were alphas and betas. Maybe omega's didn't share nest material?

"Look I'm sorry if you don't want to or If it's weird of me to ask" he mumbled.

Shigaraki shook himself out of his shock.

"No it's fine I just didnt think you wanted anything of mine. Let's go."

Shigaraki's room was surprisingly neat and he tossed the block pillow he got from spinner into the middle of his nest.

"With the exception of the pillow I just got you can grab whatever you want."

Dabi glanced at the nest shigaraki had built up.

"Is it weird if I?" He motioned to the nest and mimed picking stuff out of it.

Scratching his head shigaraki shrugged.

"A little yeah but I dont mind. Go ahead and dig through it."

Dabi awkwardly approached it and started picking it apart until he found what he wanted. A giant comforter that was unusually heavy but just made him happy for some reason and a oversized sweater that swallowed him.

"That comforter is weighted, it should go on top of the nest." Shigaraki advised and tucked his nest haphazardly back together before following dabi back to his room.

Dabi set the new stuff down and resorted his nest base out. It ended up alot smaller than shigaraki's but when shigaraki pushed him to test it out it made almost made him purr.

Shigaraki tilted his head at him.

"Are you missing something?"

Dabi shrugged. This was really nice, it was awesome and the only thing he could really think of that he wanted in here was like keigos hero coat but like fuck he was admitting that.

"This is one of those things I wont judge anyone for. What are you missing dabi? Your nest should make you purr when its complete. So whatever it is we can grab it I just have to know"

Dabi thought about how understanding shigaraki had been about this. Helpful even. For fucks sake he had let dabi take apart his nest just to give dabi something to nest with.

"The new recruit I've been scouting, he's a hero."

"You want something of his?" The question was curious and not judging at all. If it was the same hero who had cared enough to get his biggest team member home safe when he was vulnerable, then this hero was on their side.

"Hawks."

Shigaraki nodded and left.

A few minutes later he came back with keigo's hero coat and a knitted blanket.

"I had kuroguri open up a portal and left a note for him to call you. These good enough?"

Dabi was purring before he even took them all the way into the nest. He couldn't describe how much of a difference this made. His first nest was small but he was happy with it.

Shigaraki sat on the edge of it and grinned at him.

"See? Better right?"

"This is the fucking best. Your right I should have done this sooner. Thanks shig. I really needed this I think."

Shigaraki snorted. "Obviously if your trying to use a coat and a blanket and call it fine. A coats not a nest dabi"

Hajime groaned as he grabbed an energy drink from the market’s vending machine. He usually wasn’t the kind of guy to rely on these things, but it wasn’t like sleeping came easy in the middle of a bizarre killing game. 

He still felt sort of weird leaving without paying, but since there was no one to pay he turned to leave and in doing so almost bumped into another “shopper.”“Watch where you’re going,” Fuyuhiko chided him. “You look half dead, it’s dangerous letting your guard down not being all alert, you know?”

“I’m really just hoping there’s no reason to have my guard up at all today,” Hajime replied with a noise that was half chuckle half sigh. 

“There’s always a reason.” Fuyuhiko nodded seriously, and it was only then that Hajime noticed that he was holding quite an armful of sweet snacks. 

“Oh hey, those ones are really good.” Hajime pointed out one of the items, and Fuyuhiko’s face  immediately went red as he stammered in response. 

“Like I’d want to know something like that!” he huffed. “I’m just moving this stuff, I don’t like this crap!”

“What’s wrong with liking sweet things?” Hajime asked, seeming to remember having a similar conversation before. 

“Bite me!” Fuyuhiko quickly dropped the snacks on the nearest shelf, before making a hasty retreat. Hajime frowned, he wasn’t trying to get that sort of response. Then again, since Fuyuhiko only came to get snacks when the market looked empty, maybe he should have known better than to mention them. He really didn’t see how candy could ruin a tough guy yakuza image though, even if he understood that’s how Fuyuhiko saw it. He wondered if maybe he’d been stocking up a secret stash to keep in his cottage. 

He didn’t see Fuyuhiko for the rest of the day, but just after dinner her caught sight of him entering his cottage. After a quick detour back to his own, Hajime went to knock on his door. 

Fuyuhiko sulked as he opened the door, though that wasn’t too unusual. 

“Hey, you need something?” 

“Well, I just had some stuff I wanted to get rid of, and I thought maybe you could take it,” Hajime said. 

“What the hell are you talking ab-” 

Hajime lifted up a plastic bag, opening it slightly so Fuyuhiko could see the snacks inside. Fuyuhiko’s eye widened, and he dragged Hajime in by the shirt collar, an awkward angle given the height difference. 

“What, are ya crazy?” he shouted. “Flashing contraband in plain sight like that!”

“I thought I was pretty sneaky!” Hajime insisted. 

“Well, you can take that crap and go, I don’t need it.” Fuyuhiko folded his arms over his chest and looked determinedly away. 

Hajime sighed, and was about to say something when he broke into a yawn. Not even energy drinks could fix his insomnia. Fuyuhiko looked him over out of the corner of his eye and sighed. 

“You know what, you better stick around,” he said. “I don’t want you going all zombie and falling off the walkway. You should take a break, alright?”

“Are you saying you want to hang out with me?” Hajime puzzled out, and Fuyuhiko grinned. 

“I’m saying I’ll keep you safe for now, that’s all.”

Hajime idled by the bed for a moment before taking a seat on the edge, noticing how Fuyuhiko blushed again as he did. He was wondering if maybe he should have sat on the couch, but Fuyuhiko came to sit next to him. 

“Go ahead and pass me those cookies,” he muttered, gesturing to the bag. 

Hajime grinned, and did just that. 

They sat and talked for awhile, and ate sugary snacks, and at some point Hajime must have drifted off because he was suddenly waking up with his head on Fuyuhiko’s shoulder. He sat up quickly. 

“Jeez, you’re heavy, you know that?” Fuyuhiko said, his face turned away from Hajime so he could hide his blush. “Perfectly good pillow right there and you pick me. Guess I owe you for bringing me snacks but…”

Hajime rolled his eyes and lay his head right back where it had been. 

33. “I missed something didn’t I?”

“Nagito!” Chiaki said sternly, elbowing the lanky boy sitting on the couch next to her. 

“What?” Nagito grinned innocently. “I think this just makes things more interesting, right?”

“Don’t you dare!” Chiaki pouted. “We spent a whole week on this!”

“Ah, and that’s what makes it so perfect!” Nagito laughed, gesturing widely. “All that time and passion from the Ultimate Gamer, and it could all vanish in less than a second! Doesn’t the idea of so narrowly avoiding despair excite you?”

“No.” Chiaki elbowed him again, and his laugh was cut short as it connected with his ribs and drove the air out of his lungs. He was loud, but also fragile. 

“I missed something, didn’t I?�� Hajime asked, walking back into the living room with the drink he’d gone to get just a minute ago. “Are you guys fighting? Actually, you basically spent all week on that couch I’m surprised war didn’t break out earlier…”

“We were having fun,” Chiaki said. “Were.” she leveled an accusing gaze at Nagito, who was smiling behind his hand. 

“What did you do?” Hajime sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. 

“I just added a little something special to our project!”

“He filled the basement of our castle with TNT.”

Hajime blinked, and then turned to look at the screen. They were indeed playing Minecraft, and Nagito did indeed have a flint and steel poised to take out the work of what had been an admittedly adorable week of him and Chiaki gaming, cuddling, bickering, and falling asleep just long enough for Hajime to have some time with the TV. 

Adorable or not he could not go another week of them gaming non-stop.

“Okay…” he sighed, moving to sit on the arm of the couch next to Nagito. “So this is supposed to make Chiaki feel hope… how exactly?”

“Well-” Nagito began to speak, but didn’t even have a chance of explaining himself, because at that point Hajime had snatched the controller out of his hand and run out of the room while Chiaki cheered him on.

My SO asked what my OCs would be like playing minecraft so I wrote these

toby doesnt know he can craft he just wanders around, beats the shit out of pigs, eats the uncooked meat, and keeps wandering to find more pigs. Periodically types WWWWWWWWWDDDDDDDDDDDWWWWAAA into chat because hes trying to walk with chat open.

Canis just uses command blocks and turns the minecraft server into fucking tetris or makes an overly complicated set of command blocks to take someones house and just move it one block left every 30 minutes to see how long it takes for them to notice

Queen tries to actually organize a group and sets up a library and hopes everyone writes stuff in it and then gets legit mad when someone writes a book that just says "BALLS" in it

Eloise: makes a bunch of books,write “BALLS” in all of them, and puts them n everyone’s house along with a cookie to make sure they know they’re still cool.

Mellis spent so long trying to make a cool minecraft skin that they never actually got to play 

Eiver gets into minecraft late and gets REALLY obsessed with it he even buys himself like. minecraft bedsheets and pillows and ALWAYS posts his new slightly less garbage house on facebook even though everyones like "minecraft was years ago eiver" he'd watch minecraft lets players

lyra: this is a game for children. Im not playing it.  Lyra: also the character cant have boobs, so :/

venis: can be convinced to build something nice for approximately 10 minutes before he somehow gets TnT and blows everything up the list of minecraft servers hes banned from is huge

Verdad meanwhile: actually keeps a list of how many minecraft servers hes banned from and actively tries to get banned. Makes videos about building penises in public servers. is actual scum

cricket: places noteblocks for hours upon hours. its all he does. Makes fucking bohemian rhapsody out of noteblocks

Oscar: LOVES minecraft but gets scared of creepers. always takes farming duty and takes it very seriously.

Pilcrow: gets deeply insulted when someone steals something from his chest and goes on a man hunt. whines at admin to ban said person when they dont give it back

Sawney: was the one who stole the item from pilcrows chest

Martin: Ok you farm, you mine, Ill look for a place to build the base. It needs to be at least 20x20 blocks- IS THAT A TWO BLOCK TALL CEILING? I AM BANNING YOU FROM MY SERVER- DON’T DIG STRAIGHT DOWN!!!!

August turned seven this year, and he wanted a Minecraft-themed birthday party. We invited his friends for an afternoon at our house with pizza and cake, and an epic real-life Minecraft fort!

Full credit for this idea goes to Brandon, who ordered two dozen large, plain moving boxes and plastic tablecloths with a grass print to make Minecraft blocks. The best technique we found was to staple the tablecloth along the top four corners, then cut out a wavy hem to wrap around the top sides and secure with packing tape. Brandon also covered giant sheets of foamcore that we had on hand with the same pattern, and used one additional tablecloth with a wooden board design for ‘oak planks’. (Foamcore that large can be hard to find and/or expensive, FYI. Blankets would work just fine too.)

Stacking the boxes three high made the fort just the right size, and I have to admit it looked pretty magical if you were kid-sized to run through the twists and turns! I’m big on letting kids guide their own play, but we did want to make sure there was an engaging activity at the party so that guests weren’t feeling bored. We all worked together to set up the fort, they played, took a break in the middle for lunch and cake, and then we rearranged the fort for them to play some more until the party was done.

The kids loved the freestanding pet gate we brought out to serve as an entrance!

“Pixel” tools and weapons (these and these) were the props that extended the fun of the fort. We also added a big plush cube TNT pillow (a present that doubled as party decor), and I whipped up a quick wrapper to make a few smaller TNT boxes from red jumbo kids’ building blocks.

The worst part of hosting a party at home is typically the clean-up, but this wasn’t too bad! Stack the boxes up again, and the majority of the mess was taken care of. I’m on a big cleaning and clearing out kick, so we’ll reuse the boxes to gather up donations. They’d be handy for storage too, and there are always families looking for moving boxes that could use them.

If you have a Minecraft-loving kid and need a birthday party activity, this is a great one!
