Did the Doctor lie about stealing the President’s Wife and loosing the Moon?

Dark Water

Clara asks Missy, “Since when do you care about the Doctor?” 

Missy replies, “Since the Cloister Wars. Since the night he stole the moon and the President’s wife. Since he was a little girl. One of those was a lie. Can you guess which one?”

Hell Bent

The 12th Doctor says, “Long time ago, there was a student at the Academy. He got in here. Disappeared for four days. Showed up in a completely you different part of the city. He said the Sliders talked to him. They showed him the secret passage out. We just need the code.”

Clara asks, “What, and the kid told you the secret?”

“Ah, no. He didn’t tell anyone anything. He went completely mad. Never right in the head again, so they say.”

“OK, that’s encouraging.”

“The last I heard he stole the moon and the President’s wife.”

Clara smiles, “Was she, um... Was she nice, the President’s wife?”

The 12th Doctor answers, “Ah, well, that was a lie put about by the Shebugans. It was the President’s daughter. I didn’t steal the moon. I lost...”

She gives a tight lipped smile, “I’d know you anywhere.”

“I was a completely different person in those days. Eccentric. A bit mad,” he chuckles, “rude to people.”

Boom

The 15th Doctor sings, “I went down to the beach and there she stood, dark and tall at the edge of the wood. ‘The sky’s too big, I’m scared!’ I cried. She replied, ‘Young man, don’t you know there’s more to life than a moon and a president’s wife.’” 

Missy asks which one is a lie. We find out from the Doctor that the lie was stealing the moon and the President’s wife. The Doctor had actually stole the President’s daughter and ‘lost the moon’. I wonder if he may have been talking about Susan. Twelve brings up the fact that he stole a TARDIS and ran away whilst mentioning he was different person back then.
