This is hilarious omg. Sebek can't have a single normal day, can he? Worrying about Waka-sama, carrying Silver back to the dorm, Master Lilia keeps sharing his wisdom messing with him...and now Chenya?? Some local cats already cause him enough stress (Leona won't show respect to the Illustrious one! Lucius must disrupt silence during the lectures, and Grim causing troubles every day! Sebek was diligently cleaning the stables after the club practice when, unexpectedly, a storm broke out. So he just had to wait inside. It was getting really cold and he eventually found himself shivering. Then suddenly Chenya appeared (he was looking for Riddle) and stumbled upon poor crocodile. So he wrapped his fluffy tail around his neck.....And they fell asleep like that :3 (it was a long storm) Riddle and Silver found them in the morning, curled up on a pile of hay :3 mm but considering this post, they may not have just slept together >:)

But mostly Chenya just messes with Sebek yes haha

Started absolutely love this ship after the 2nd Sam's New Year Sale event and Sebek's New Year card!

But I wouldn't say that Sebek harshly judges others' appearances in general? I think it's rooted in his dedication to maintain a perfect image in Waka-sama's presence (if you're around Waka-sama or even mention his name 🙃 you must look impeccable)

The way Sebek styles his hair is likely heavily influenced by Baul, who shares a similar hairstyle? And he definitely played a huge role in instilling in Sebek the belief that this particular hairstyle is a reflection of how a Royal Guard must present themselves (certainly not Lilia lol)

As for clothes, Sebek himself says that he doesn't care much about such things, and he simply wears what is necessary. (one of his Dorm Uniform Card lines, translation by @mysteryshoptls)

And even if he takes time to decorate his clothes, he does it only to pay tribute to Waka-sama, his homeland, and other significant aspects of his life (e.g. his Outdoor wear's and Union Jacket's patches). (Union Birthday voice line, from @mysteryshoptls 's translation here)

I absolutely love to imagine a certain dialog between them when they were working at Sam's New Year Sale together. Imagine they're on a break and doing some hair adjustments in front of the mirror.

"Sebek, I admit I am quite surprised - we've been working quite hastily, and you've been running back and forth since early morning, and yet your hair looks perfect and still...to think about it, it always looks like this, even in Flying class. You must use a really nice fixative spray" Vil said curiously.

"HMPH! OF COURSE I DO, HUMAN" Sebek huffed.

"As a retainer of LORD MALLEUS I make sure I don't bring shame upon his name!"

"Ah yes...Malleus, right..." Vil sighed, knowing where this goes.

"I make sure I look ABSOLUTELY PERFECT" Sebek continued, ignoring Vil's now less interested expression.

"So, in order to ensure NOT A SINGLE HAIR is out of order, it isn't just fixative spray, but THE STRONGEST hair gel I was able to acquire!" he proudly puffed his chest and pulled out a small acid green bottle with a lightning bolt on it.

And at that very moment, the world might have lost one of the most beautiful models and actors because Vil nearly had a heart attack.

"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND??????!!!!" He grabbed the bottle out of Sebek's hand and squeezed his shoulder, eyes burning with rage and despair.

"Listen to me closely, cucumber. If you don't want to lose all your hair and become bald by the age of 30, NEVER ever use this thing again, do you understand me?" he was speaking slowly, making sure each word would reach Sebek's consciousness.

The green-haired man was taken aback for a few seconds but then regained his composure and shook off senior's hand.

"Vil-senpai, what are you talking about?! I must maintain the perfect image of Waka-sama's guard so I-"

Vil puts his hand over Sebek's mouth, silencing him, and leans closer, looking right into his eyes.

"I will hear no objections. This thing goes into the rubbish bin, now. You're a good-looking man, Sebek, and I cannot allow you to abuse your natural looks. If you truly want to look perfect for your King, I will teach you then..."

So Vil started teaching Sebek about all these things, what is harmful, what is useless etc. :)

Is it not just minestrone?

That's what I first thought when I saw it and heard him describe it. Minestrone is actually one of my favorite things my grandma makes from time to time... well, I guess it's not exactly minestrone because she doesn't always use pasta or rice. Hers is more like vegetable stew with meat added, usually it's beef of some sort.

Yoosung's lucky ham stew seems to be a variation on the usual minestrone. Minestrone is most usually made with pasta, but people also use rice instead. The way people describe minestrone online is similar to how Yoosung described it, "hearty, packed with carbs and protein." When comparing it to traditional vegetable stew.

The idea with minestrone is most usually with the idea of using up what's already in your kitchen, so it's not always the same ingredients, that's why Yoosung says to use whatever vegetables you have/like.

From the picture, it looks, in my opinion, to have cut potatoes, carrots, green beans, and broccoli. The brown could potentially be the ham, but really it looks more like... pulled pork? Beef? There isn't really enough detail to tell.

I think the reason for the broth color is due to a combination of soaking the meat and tomatoes. Minestrone soup base is very tomatoey. Also, tomato can make the both consistency thicker too, and along with all the other ingredients probably sunken beneath the surface, could be the reason whatever the heck the purple stuff is didn't mix so quickly. As for the purple stuff... I also just chalked it up to it being the "luck" and "love" lol.

I probably Mandela style fabricated a memory I thought I had of Zen saying he thought it might be jam, but I dunno *le x2 shrug* I can imagine Yoosung getting experimental while cooking, so honestly it wouldn't surprise me if it was jam. lol The secret ingredient.

Maybe sometime I'll attempt to recreate Yoosung's lucky ham stew, I've just also been so curious.

As for Zen, my assumption was that he's such a health nut, anything with any decent amount of salt, like ham usually has when it's been cured, it will taste or smell too salty. It's something that tends to happen to our taste buds depending on what out usual diet is. If you don't consume much sodium, you become more sensitive to it, and vise versa. If you are used to having salt in your daily diet, the same thing won't taste too salty like the person who may eat more raw fruits and vegetables.

And while I'm here, I agree with Yoosung about adding slightly less healthy things to home cooked meals sometimes, but for me that's just because when I do cook it kinda becomes a special occasion and I allow myself to eat the less healthy thing since, to me, it does enhance the quality of the cooked meal. :9 Both the added ham and olive oil add some fat and oils to the pot, and technically they say it's less healthy, but the important thing is; How often are you doing this? Mmmmmmm, fats and oils added to some kinds of soups add so much body and a touch of endorphins rushing tastiness as well... :99999 Makes you feel warm and happy at your gramma's house like when you were a kid. 😌

See its not even the fact that its purple that gets me. Its the fact that its only HALF purple that looks somehow gelatinous and the rest is brown lile a normal broth. How did he manage that??? How did he make seemingly two seperate broths in the same pot without mixing them? Are they actually different textures? Is eating a spoonful like when you dont mix your yogurt and theres that layer of water on top? So many questions!!

The world will never know, if I'm being honest about this. There is no part of his explanation that makes any of the picture make sense to me because Yoosung explains how you make the meal in the chatroom! I have no idea how he got to point A to point B when he jumped all the way to Point Z. He burnt it, he can do that much to admit what went wrong... but the rest of it? We’re never going to be aware of how it went wrong.

Dec 29th - Jason’s Deli and Taco Casa

The bucket list is packed for both lunch and dinner, today and tomorrow! I’m not sure what I will pick at Jason’s Deli, but I know I’m getting the Broccoli Cheese soup for sure! Greg is working and since we share a car, I’m going to have to do some magic to get Jason’s Deli into my hands anyway. John and Patrick went to John’s mom’s house for their Christmas party or I would ask one of them to take me. Well there’s always delivery... let’s check it out.

OMG. SMDH. These people want me to hit a $25 minimum in food and then charge me $8 to deliver it?! They got me fucked up...

Ok I told Greg this bullshit and he is taking time to go pick up an order for us. Now what do I want? I usually get the Chicken Club Salad (mmmmmmm Ranch dressing). Or should I mix it up and get a baked potato?
